Smith Residences (3rd POV)
After Rick and the kids had their fun and fixed the house after last night's party.
Morty was vacuuming a shirtless Jerry and Marcus was seen examining the cracks caused by their sudden teleportation to a different dimension.
"Okay..." Marcus muttered and wrote down the sketch of the cracks on a notebook.
"Hurry up, Morty. Grandpa's about to un-freeze time," Summer demanded, then eyes on how Morty's vacuuming, "You should be cleaning from top to bottom,"
"I know how to vacuum mom and dad, Summer," Morty said and puts the vacuum inside a laundry basket filled with clothes, "I've been doing it for six months"
"Then you've been doing it wrong for six months," Summer remarked, then notices something on Jerry's right shoulder, "Oh my god, is that mildew?"
"It's not my fault we froze time on a humid day," Morty said, and Marcus walks beside him with his arms crossed together
"You have dropped so many balls, man," Summer said, "Do you ever get scared Grandpa Rick might make me his new sidekick?"
"Ha! Good luck with that," Marcus remarked,
"What?! What kind of monster are you?" Morty questioned,
"A competent one," Summer smugly replied,
"On second thought, I take back what I said earlier. She did help Rick a couple of times better than you Morty," Marcus said,
"How would you know?" Morty said,
"Cause I've seen it," Marcus replied,
"Who cares about the *burps* things you guys are talking about? *burps* the whole point of freezing time was to stop giving a fuck," Rick intervened, "Put a shirt on your dumb dad and let's get this dumb universe rolling. Let's do this thing,"
Marcus and Summer follow Rick from behind while Morty puts Jerry's shirt back. But mistakenly puts it backward.
He then grabbed the laundry basket and rushes back inside. Rick then closes the door and Morty sets the laundry basket to the side.
"All right, listen, you two. We froze time for a pretty long time," Rick explained,
"Six Months to be precise," Marcus pointed out, and Rick momentarily frowns at him,
"So when I un-freeze it, the world's time is gonna be fine, but our time's gonna need time to, uh stabilize," Rick continued,
"Our time is gonna be unstable?" Morty asked, "What does that even mean?"
"It means relax and stop being a pussy, Morty. Uh, I thought you learned that by now," Rick said, and stood in between Morty and Summer, "It also means don't touch your parents, or we could shatter into countless theoretical shards,"
And this alarmed Morty, Summer, and even Marcus despite his being a bit more tamed than the other two.
"Wait a minute, what?" Morty exclaimed,
"And away we go!" Rick declared and pushes the button on the remote,
Upon activation, the device un-freezes time and we all wait for Beth and Jerry to come right through the door.
"Um... Did we ever put that mattress under Mr. Benson?" Morty questioned, and he was shushed by Rick, Marcus, and Summer,
A livid Jerry then opens the door, and his anger immediately turns to confusion as he saw how spotless the house has become, "Wait, what? Was the house... When we pulled up, I could have sworn the house was completely trashed,"
"Negative visualization, Jerry," Rick excused, "Hi, Sweetie. Explains a lot about where you're at,"
"Hi, dad," Beth greeted and tried to hug them,
But Morty and Summer flinched, Marcus backs up a bit, and Rick just crossed his arms together.
"Summer, Morty, Marcus, Are you okay?" Beth questioned,
"We... we just missed you a lot," Morty said,
"Yeah, we missed you so much," Summer followed, "Too much to hug you, though,"
"And I'm not in the mood for a hug. Though I did miss you, Mom," Marcus said,
"Yeah, It would literally destroy them," Rick said, as he backed the two and himself away from them, "Now, listen, why don't... Why don't... wh-why don't... Why don't you guys go get a free Sunday ice cream?"
Rick pulls out a couple of bills from his coat, rolls it, and ties it up with a rubber band, "Here's $500 cash in unmarked monies. I'm just gonna put it on the floor *Gently puts it down on the floor* and kick it on over to ya *Kicks the bill to them*. You guys go nuts,"
"This better not be a bribe," Jerry said as he picked up the money, "If I find a single thing out of place in this house, my love of ice cream won't save you. I'll get my jacket,"
"Sweetie, is your shirt on backward?" Beth questioned, and Jerry took notice,
Rick, Morty, and Summer gasped while Marcus was about to do the same. But recalled that Jerry is dense, so he just went go stiff for a bit.
"Yeah. I like it this way. I'm not stupid," Jerry stated as he went up the stairs,
Morty and Summer sigh in relief while Marcus eases down.
"Man, that guy is the Redgren Grumbholdt of pretending he knows what's going on," Rick remarked,
Morty and Summer laughed while I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms together.
"Oh, you agree, huh? You like that Redgren Grumbholdt reference?" Rick questioned as Morty and Summer laughed and gave their response before he drops the bomb on the two, "Well, guess what? I made him up. You really are your father's children. Think for yourselves. Don't be sheep,"
"Technically, I didn't laugh. So don't butt me in with them," Marcus said, "I'm going to my room after Mom and Jerry leave..."
A Few Minutes Later... (Marcus' POV)
After Beth and Jerry left for Ice Cream, I went to my room and sat down on my bed as I took the time to breathe a few times.
Then, I opened my closet, accessed the device hidden beneath a small pile of my clothes, and opened a portal to my Interdimensional Room.
Once I was inside, the room brightens up and Valentine was sitting by the desk in her android body.
"Welcome back, Marcus," Valentine greeted, then frowns as she noticed something peculiar about me, "What happened to you?"
"What do you mean?" I questioned,
"The systems are detecting an unstable anomaly," Valentine stated, "A Time Anomaly to be exact,"
"Guess Rick's devices have their flaws..." I muttered, "Is there any other way to resolve this?"
"Only one is available, Marcus," Valentine said,
"Which is why I asked if there was another way. Cause I ain't spending a whole minute with the first option," I stated,
"I'm very sorry, Marcus. But it's currently the only option we have..." Valentine apologized,
"Goddamn it..." I cursed under my breath, "Fine, then fire up the machine before I regret this even further,"
With Valentine operating the room within her android body, one part of the room soon reveals a large tube chamber attached to a control panel.
I groaned at the sight of this chamber, but it was not like I had a choice in the matter since I needed to end this quickly as I normally should.
I stepped into the chamber, and Valentine tends to the control panel and shuts the chamber door shut.
"Calibrating," Valentine said as she operates the controls, once completed she turns to me, "Ready, Marcus?"
"Are the relievers placed for me?" I questioned,
"Yes," Valentine replied, and Dummy was seen holding a pillow and combat knife
"Then get on with it," I ordered, and stood still,
Valentine then grabs a lever on the right side of the panel and momentarily glances at the chamber before pulling it down.
I closed my eyes as the machine runs on its own. Then, it begins the process and I was screaming like hell while Valentine watches it happen.
A few seconds later, Valentine pulls the lever back and the machine stops. Once the chamber was open, I jumped out of the chamber and panted excessively.
Dummy then hands me a pillow and that's when I go ballistic and beat the hell out of the pillow with my bare hands.
If the beating wasn't enough, Dummy passes the knife to me and lets loose with it against the pillow.
A few minutes later, I stabbed the pillow with my knife one last time, stood right up from the floor, and pant heavily from exhaustion.
Valentine then went in front of me, grasped my hands, and looked me in the eye, "Marcus, repeat after me. Breath in, *Marcus breathes in* Breath out, *Marcus breathes out* In,*Marcus breathes in* Out, *Marcus breathes out*"
Once the breathing session was over, I regained my usual composure and eased down.
"Feeling better now?" Valentine inquired,
"Yes," I replied,
"Good, and how long will you be staying here?" Valentine questioned,
"Time froze for six months," I revealed, "So, I'm going to be here for the same duration,"
"Then I shall prepare everything you need," Valentine said, and went on with her duties,
For an average person, this might as well be considered a long and pleasant stay. But in reality, it was going to be long boring months.
Interdimensional Montage (3rd POV)
(There will be a lemon scene in this montage. But it will be separate via line break. If you wish to avoid them)
The first thing Marcus did was a physical workout to clear his thoughts after using the machine.
Marcus was doing several physical activities such as push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and a lot more. In the midst of his workout, Valentine was sitting on a chair watching rather than monitoring him on the monitor.
After his physical routine, he modifies one part of his room with a couple of buttons and switches, then reveals that there is a lot of gym equipment. Lifts, weights, treadmills, and more.
And he uses them to their fullest effects while taking occasional breaks to lessen the stress on his body.
He would repeat this for half a month, then move on with a different activity to pass the time. Which was a maintenance check on almost all of the weapons and armor.
He would pass the time by disassembling these weapons, cleaning every part of the weapon, and reassembling them after he was done. He also does this with a timer to see to maintain his skills.
Pistols and Submachine Guns were easy, but the bigger guns took most of his time since they have more parts, some were heavier than others, more complicated to assemble in the shortest time possible, and the smallest bits required tools for the job.
When another half of a month had come to pass, he had gotten bored and goes on to do a different task, which was watching several series he could find on the internet, even the old and/or bad ones.
As he goes through various series, Valentine sat beside him and watched not only to study them but also to judge them as he goes by. Some were good, some were bad, and some were in between the two.
Though stories aside, Valentine was heavily interested in the variety of clothes that the female characters wear and often save these designs in her memory.
For some abnormal reason, Marcus' watching spree lasted for two months as some of the ongoing series had gotten him invested and added a schedule for their upcoming seasons.
In the end, Marcus grew bored at his watching spree and thinks of different to do as he lay down on his bed. And that particular task lands Valentine on a practice run...
After giving direct orders to Valentine, the latter pulls Marcus' shorts down and started sucking his cock at her own leisure. She'd bobbed her head as it went deep into her throat.
By the time she finished, she pulls her head back, presses her artificial breasts in between Marcus' cock, and proceeds to rub them while licking the very tip with her tongue.
Marcus wasn't feeling anything since he was fully capable control his thoughts around sex. But he often assist her by grabbing the back of her head and insisted that she suck the tip as she moved her breasts against his cock.
Then came the next phase as Valentine sat onto Marcus' lap, aligned his cock toward the entrance of her pussy, then pushes her down as his cock entered her.
With that, Marcus handled the rest as he bobbed Valentine's waist while the latter kissed and twirled her tongue against his.
This went on for a couple of minutes, and Valentine was simulating her moans as time passes. Before long, Marcus pushes Valentine down and began filling up her inside. The latter let out a simulated scream and wrap both her arms and legs around her.
Once finished, Valentine gets up from Marcus' lap and her pussy was leaking. She reverts back to her usual expression. What follows was Marcus doing several adjustments and test runs on Valentine's body.
And by test runs, it meant that Valentine would undergo days of sexual intercourse with Marcus in various sex positions. From handjobs to anal intercourse, Valentine's body and programming improved.
In fact, Marcus modified an entire room and did all kinds of positions that required walls and furniture. He also ordered Valentine to masturbate on her own as part of the test runs.
Marcus watches as she goes by and documents certain things before continuing the tests on Valentine's body.
After a month and a half's worth of work and sex, Valentine's body had improved and it was getting close to that of a human body. But Marcus had become bored and was tempted on returning to the real world once the last half of the month is over and done.
With half a month remaining, Marcus motionlessly waited for time to pass with Valentine lying next to him. He didn't mind the company, especially when Valentine inched her way toward him.
Once she reached him, she placed her arm over him and Marcus just let time pass by. Though he wouldn't remain for an entire day as he sat up from his bed and wondered about what to do for today.
That's when he recalled something that he hasn't done for a while...
He goes to the control panel with Valentine following behind him and flips a switch that changes one section of the room.
And that room was filled with a particular set of items...
...
...
...
Musical Instruments...
Marcus exhales once at the very sight of them, then he walks up to one of them. And the instrument he picked was an acoustic guitar.
It was still in mint condition, and he received it as a Christmas gift from Jerry's parents. He then brought it towards the desk and sits down with his guitar in hand.
With just one strum on the strings, Marcus adjusted a few tuners until he got the right tune. He thought of playing but hesitated as he couldn't think of a song.
He glanced at Valentine, who was sitting next to him, he sigh through his nose and asked the following question, "Is there a song you'd like to hear?"
"What?" Valentine inquired,
Marcus just stared at the guitar, then shook his head a few times, "I-It's nothing, just a question I usually ask people..."
"I see..." Valentine understood and processed the thought, and that's when her thoughts landed on a particular individual in mind, "Then you wouldn't mind playing her favorite song?"
Marcus turns to her with a confused look and wonders why she would request such a thing. But having nothing to do, he chose to comply as he fasten his sitting position, prepared his guitar pick, and started playing one particular song; 'Without Question'.
Valentine marveled as Marcus was playing well with the guitar, what's more, he absent-mindedly sang the song as goes by the lyrics. (I will not write the lyrics since I don't want to break any rules that I may not know of!)
It was quite surprising since Marcus has never shown any talent in music and his voice was nice to hear. Even for an A.I. such as herself, she couldn't help but feel impressed by this show of talent.
By the time he finishes singing the song, he played the last notes from his guitar and pulls his hand back. He sighs, then turns to Valentine as she applauds his musical performance.
"That was incredible, Marcus. From how you play to how you sing, you haven't dulled your skill in the guitar," Valentine commented, "Though I must ask, what prompt you to stop playing?"
"Well..." Marcus stared at the guitar, "I just stopped, that's all..."
Valentine wanted to press on the conversation. But as his AI, she chose not to question him unless he opens himself to her.
"Very well, but you wouldn't mind playing some more, can you?" Valentine requested,
"Sure, why not," Marcus replied, and started playing another song on his guitar once more.
Back in Marcus' Room (Marcus' POV)
Having spent six months in my Interdimensional Room, I return to my room and stretched my arms since I slept not too long ago.
When I look down at my watch, I noticed that six minutes and not six months. The reason behind this is due to the time being vastly different in my Interdimensional Room.
I can spend all my time in the world there, and I wouldn't be gone for any less than an hour.
Thus, I went downstairs and check on the others. After searching for them for a couple of minutes, I couldn't find them and Rick's Spaceship was still parked inside the garage.
That's when I assumed that something time-related has happened since they were exposed to Rick's flawed device. Rather than do something to help them, I took the time to go to the living room and watch TV since I want to be distracted myself from being in my Interdimensional for six months.
A Few Minutes Later...
I was watching random crap from several interdimensional channels until I heard a car being parked from outside and a commotion in the garage. I looked out the window and saw Beth and Jerry exiting their car.
I stood up from the couch and went towards the door. As soon as Beth opens the door, I was there to greet her, "Hey mom,"
"Hi sweetie," Beth said as she goes to hug him,
This time, he accepts it and pats her on the back a few times. Once she and I parted, Jerry tried to get a hug from me. But shaking my head was enough to keep him from doing so.
"Where's Rick and the others?" Beth inquired,
"They're probably in the garage after another wacky adventure of theirs," I stated, "But don't worry about them making a mess while you were gone. I was here the whole time,"
"Well that's a relief," Beth said, "Come on, Jerry. Let's go see them,"
As Beth and Jerry went to see the others, I followed behind them.
"We're home," Beth announced as she opened the door to the garage,
"Mom! Dad!" Morty and Summer simultaneously greeted and hugged them,
"Uh, hold the phone. Where did you guys get those necklaces from?" Jerry asked, "Uh, Lady Gaga. table for three. Am I right?"
Beth started laughing while I dismissively rolled my eyes as I leaned against the wall on the other side of the garage. Jerry, on the other hand, continues to make jokes about the collars, "Are you guys Power Rangers, but only on one small part of your necks? Hey, do those things need batteries? Were they included? Cleanup in the fruit aisle. Not in a homophobic way, though, they're just fruit necklaces is what I was saying,"
"I'm gonna pee my pants," Beth remarked in between her laughter,
"But before that happens," I walked into the garage with my arms crossed together, "I suggest you stop with the corny jokes, Jerry,"
"Come on, Marcus. I'm just having a fun time, I'm not hurting anyone," Jerry said,
"Oh, you are hurting them. With your half-ass jokes," I rudely remark,
"Marcus," Beth called out as she stopped laughing,
"I'm just stating an opinion, I ain't doing anything," I commented as I raised both of my hands, then I proceeds to shove them into my pockets as he focused his attention on Rick, Morty, and Summer, "Now, quick question. Have you three gone through something uncertain earlier?"
"Uh..." Rick, Morty, and Summer simultaneously sounded in confusion, and I sighed at this response, "You three, with me. Right now,"
As I walked out, the three were confused at first but complies with his demand as they followed him.
Marcus' Room
As soon as they went inside my room, I proceed to lock the door and closed the blinds.
"So... Why did you lead us to your room exactly?" Summer questioned, "I know I'm one with privacy. But you've never brought anyone other than your friends,"
"That's because I plan to fix what you three have been through," I stated as I opened my closet and pulled out the portal device,
"Fix us, huh? And how do you plan on doing that?" Rick asked with his arms crossed,
Once I have finished everything with the device, the portal opens and all three were dumbfounded as I stood up, took one step to the side, and gestured my left hand towards the portal, "Right this way..."
They were hesitant at first. but obviously, curiosity got the best of them as they entered the portal without question and it closes as soon as I entered the portal myself.
Interdimensional Room
As soon as everyone was inside, Rick, Morty, and Summer were in awe of how much I had in the room while I walked up to them.
"What do you all think?" I questioned,
"Marcus, what is all this?" Morty asked without averting his eyes from the sight,
"This room is an interdimensional space only I can access," I stated, "It's crazy expensive to keep and it's where I keep souvenirs whenever I return from a job,"
I walked pasted them to get to my desk and flipped a switch that opened up a rectangular panel. Revealing a regular door to them.
"Also, its location isn't accessible to any other teleportation device," I said, and opened a door that led to a void room, "Because there is nothing to visit for the matter,"
The three went towards the door and took a peek outside. Rick even went as far as to reach his hand out from the other side of the door and grasped nothing.
"Huh? How did you make all this?" Rick asked,
"I didn't make it, someone else did," I stated, "And that someone would be the place where I work for,"
"Okay, the room filled with nothing aside. Can you tell us why you brought us here?" Summer inquired,
"As I said, I'm going to fix all three of you," I replied, "To if you want me to be specific, I'm going to fix your timelines to the way they are, and you wouldn't have to wear those stupid time collars,"
"You know what these are?" Morty asked,
"I do, Morty. I keep some of them for myself," I said, as I pushed some buttons, flipped a couple of switches, and turned a certain knob that modified one section of the room.
Thus, the three were introduced to the machine that I used to fix my timeline.
"Is that a time-stabilizing machine?" Rick bluntly questioned,
"Yes, and before you all go in there. We're going to need an operator, some knives, and some pillows," I said,
"What for?" Morty asked,
"You'll know soon enough," I said, and let Valentine take over her body once more
"Greetings, and it gives me great pleasure to meet you two once more, Rick Sanchez, and Morty Smith," Valentine greeted, then turns to Summer, "And I don't believe we've met, I'm Valentine. Marcus' personal AI,"
"Hi, I'm Summer and I am Marcus' Sister," Summer introduced herself to her, "Quick question, why do you look so hot?"
"Save the questions and answers for later," I intervened, especially when I noticed the ogled look on Morty's face, "Valentine, fire up the machine while I prepare the other stuff,"
"Understood," Valentine replied, and goes to prepare the machine,
"Why would you let a bucket of bolts run a machine? Why not do it yourself?" Rick questioned,
"I could, but I don't want to since operating that machine takes time to adjust the right parameters on one's body," I explained, "As for Valentine, she can operate the machine since she's more adapt to it than I do,"
"The machine's ready, Marcus," Valentine notified,
"Alright, who's first?" I inquired,
"Can't we just do it all at once?" Morty suggested,
"Unless you want to be cramped in a tube, break up and be put back together until something becomes irreversible. Then be my guest," I sarcastically insisted, "In fact, why don't we speed things up around here,"
The first person that I shoved into the chamber was Rick since he was the closest to me, and automatically shuts him inside.
"Hey, what the hell?!" Rick exclaimed as he tried breaking the glass by ramming his body against it,
"Alright, after we remove that collar on his neck. We should be good to go," Valentine declared,
The machine then comes with mechanical arms that removed the collar much to Rick's concern. Though nothing happened even as he braced for the outcome when removing the collar.
With that, Valentine pulls down the switch that activates the machine. A couple of seconds later, Rick's body started fizzing out as he screamed at the top of his lungs while Morty and Summer nervously hid behind me.
By the time the machine finished, I prepared the pillow and Valentine opens the chamber. The moment Rick lunges out of the chamber, I passed the pillow to him and he started beating the hell out of it like no tomorrow.
When his punches weren't enough, Marcus hands him a knife and Rick started stabbing the pillow.
"Um... Can we like, keep the collars for six months?" Summer suggested, "Cause I don't feel like murdering a pillow,"
"Do you want people to see you as a collared slave in school?" I questioned, "Or perhaps you want the Time Police to find you?"
"Uh..." Summer trails off since this is something that she wanted to avoid,
In the midst of her thoughts, I sneakingly placed my hand behind Summer's back, "That's what I thought,"
Without warning, I pushed Summer into the chamber and the door immediately shuts it lock on before she could react. Summer expresses immense distress and banged her fist against the glass.
"Just bear with it, okay?" I stated,
"Marcus! Why would you push her in there?" Morty complained,
"Because she was dragging out the conversation more than it normally should. Plus, the faster this crap is settled, the better it'll be for us all," I said, then I turn to Valentine, "Fire it up,"
Valentine nods without hesitation and preps the machine. It performs the usual procedure by removing the collar on her neck despite her initial resistance to the arms, then the painful part as she felt like her body was being torn apart and put back together again.
Once finished, the chamber opens and I handed Summer another pillow. Her reaction to the pain was surprisingly much greater than Rick's as she tore through the pillow with her nails.
The knife was used to provide additional support to Summer's mental state...
As for Morty, I had already anticipated his resistance and the effects of the machine on him. But he can handle his behavior at any time since it wasn't much of a problem.
Once all three of them calmed down, I just sat down while Valentine went to hide the machine by undoing what I did on the desk before standing next to me.
"So, how do you all feel?" I inquired,
"Fuck you, you piece of shit!" Rick and Summer simultaneously yelled,
"Good enough," I remarked, "As for what comes next, I'm afraid you three will be spending six months here,"
"Six months!?" Summer exclaimed as she stood upstraight, "Just what do you want us to do here for six months!?"
"I'm with Summer! I've got better shit to do than to sit around here for six whole fucking months with you, you Blofled-wannabe fuck," Rick yelled, "More importantly, what's stopping us from walking out of this place,"
"You may try, but only Valentine and I can control this place more than any of the three," I explained, "You may try to break Valentine apart. But even if you do succeed, she'll appear on the screen behind me. Besides, you won't lose six months of your life here since this place is built differently,"
I snapped my finger, and Valentine proceeds to modify the entire room to all sorts of entertainment such as a futuristic arcade, a buffet with a large multitasking robot, and an entertainment room.
The three were utterly baffled as to how much I had in this room and I expected this kind of response as I stood up, "The wifi password here is Blackjack, but in all caps, and the letters A are replaced with the number 4,"
"So... We get to do what we want here?" Summer questioned while her gaze is fixated on the sight she was seeing,
"That's right, and don't worry about dying here. There's something here that acts as a respawn point should you die somehow," I assured, "If you get hurt, something will heal you instead,"
"Just how much have you paid to have all this?" Rick interrogated,
"More than you think," I elaborated, "But let's put all this aside and have a bit of fun, all this talking is wasteful,"
Rick, Morty, and Summer just glanced at each other, then they went on to explore after they'd inputted the wifi password on their electronic devices.
What followed was a bunch of things as all four of them had their share in food, games, and tv series in my Interdimensional Room. Though after three months, all of them were bored out of their skulls.
Regardless, they tried several things to pass the time and I went on to explain why I don't stay here for too long. From what they understand being in one place is somewhat boring and being anywhere than here is much better.
But in my case, I was feeling a bit glad to have someone to share my boredom with. Hence, I let myself stay in the room rather than abandon them here for six months.
'Guess having someone else here doesn't feel bad after all,' I remarked as I played a turn on an alien board game that Rick found in my collections.
Marcus' Bedroom
After six months have passed in my Interdimensional Room, the portal reopens and all four of them appeared in my room once more.
As Summer goes to check the time, she then expresses her disbelief to the other two, "Oh my god, We've gone for six minutes!"
"That's right, but don't go think that a month there is a minute here," I explained, "If we were to stay there for a whole year. A minute would have passed instead,"
"That's just... Wow..." Morty commented,
"I know, but now, I want you all to leave my room," I demanded and even pushed them toward my door, " I've done my part, now go and do whatever you want to do. You're welcome, and I've got things to do,"
As soon as they were out of my room, I shut the door close and sighed before lying down on my bed. Compared to the bed here, and the bed in the other room. Home is always the most comfortable place to be in...
Bonus Scene (3rd POV)
Not too long ago, Marcus had accepted a delivery mission but the rendevous point is not on a place or a dimension. But on a certain timeline on another planet and behind him was a small wooden crate that he used as a stool to sit on.
Then came a particular bubble appearing out of nowhere and its occupant looked like a testicle that lacked eyes and legs and wears rags as its only attire.
"Here I thought I was waiting out of my skull in this timeline," Marcus remarked,
"Sorry about that, Had other stuff to do in another timeline," Time Cop said, "Speaking of stuff, did you get what I asked for?"
Marcus steps away from the box, then proceeds to open it with a plastic crowbar rather than a metal one. Upon opening the crate, the Time Cop inspects the contents and brought one of the time crystals out.
Upon examination, he determined that it was real and puts the crystal back into the crate.
"A'ight, we cool now," Time Cop said, and transfers the reward to Marcus' account,
Even though the credits were given on a different timeline, the transfer is recorded from the Institute's computers. Hence, those credits can still be used to Marcus' luxury.
"And my bonus," I reminded,
"Sure thing," Time Cop said, and puts out a second time-traveling device, "Here, just don't go crazy with it,"
"I won't," Marcus assured, "And pleasure doing business with you,"
The Time Cop then proceeds to use his device to transport him and his items back to his dimension while Marcus uses the device to go back home on his own.
Upon arrival, Marcus puts the device into his Interdimensional Room for safekeeping and rest for the day...
In conclusion to this chapter, I will say with utmost certainty that we are back for Season 2!
Marcus: *Blowing on a party horn*
And yes, I'm aware that it's been a long time. But rest assured, I haven't abandoned the story since working on multiple stories at the same time can be frustrating.
Hence, I'm working on one story at a time.
Marcus: But that aside, there are some things that you must do first before we proceed any further.
You're right and that is the revision of the previous chapters. Don't worry though, I will not delete those chapters. Just going to edit them to make them a bit better as well as fix a couple of mistakes that I may have made along the way.
But that aside, I'll be replying to the reviews from Season 1's finale!
Timeslinger: So Marcus lost the one he loved and it changed him, Rick and he are alike in that regard, would Rick understand what Marcus is going through if he ever found out? and do old Marcus beth and jerry know more about his mercenary life to an extent?
In some way. But I will be revealing a difference between him and Rick in the future.
Marcus will also tell Rick about it in the future, that I can guarantee you.
And as for Old Marcus opening his secret to them, the answer is yes. He does open up to them. But he won't abandon them just like Rick and Morty abandoned them.
coldblue2015: I kind of want to read you dabble into "The Venture Brothers" fan fiction with this story like the OC is an Intern at a failing/dangerous Venture Compound where he is the ONLY reason the Dr. Rusty Venture products work for a time before going out on his own...Meanwhile, the Guild of Calamities Intent looks to recruit this young Super Scientist for their cause of supremacy over Evil!
Never heard of that Series before, So I don't know much of the story. Sorry!
Gamelover41582: epic work on this chapter and a great wrap-up for season 1 :)
Thanks, and I'll keep up the good work for this series.
That is all I have to say, stay safe from the virus, and I will see you all soon in the next chapter!

The Crescent Rider has signed out...
P.S.: To those who read this message. It's about the Bonus Content of Season 1. I feel like there are a few things still missing. Thus I've decided to let people make suggestions for potential bonuses in that season only (Same/Different Episode). But send them via PM, if I find a suggestion in the Review Section. It results in an automatic rejection!
