Chapter 1: Ye Xian:

Ye Xian's POV:

My name is Ye Xian, and I am a Jiaoren. A Jiaoren is basically a Chinese mermaid or merman. like all merfolk. I have a Mixture of Blue, Teal, Green, and Purple, a Mixture of Cyan, Aquamarine, Turquoise, and Teal, a Mixture of White, Silver, Brown, and Yellow, and a Mixture of Purple, Pink, Orange, and Blue. Like all Jiaoren, I have a Telescope Goldfish Tail.

I live with my step-mother, Jin and my half-sister, Jun-Li. They have treated me poorly. which makes me wonder sometimes if my step-mother's ancestry actually came from Iara; the Amazonian Warrior Mermaid Tribe. I would often go to the surface to grab pears from a tree's lower branch. I have been alone for a long time.

"Are you sad?"

"Who said that," I asked.

"I did!" It was a fish with golden eyes.

"Who are you," I asked.

"I have no name."

"I will call you Gold-Eyes."

From that moment, Gold-Eyes became my one true friend.

Dragon King's POV:

I was in my carriage. "Look at all the beautiful treasure I have," I said, "and- STOP!" We then stopped. "Look at her! Yes, I will make her my queen!"

"You're into girls, Boss," asks Benbo.

"What do you mean," I asked.

"We just assumed- never mind, "says Babbo.

"Weirdoes," I said. I'm actually into both men and women, but it's strange that Benbo and Babbo thought that I'm into only men. Oh, well. Those two are idiots, anyway.

Ye Xian's POV:

I then returned to the cave. "Ye Xian," says my step-mother, "the Dragon King is here!"

"What," I asked, "why?"

"How are we supposed to know," says my step-mother, "I can't read minds, and do you really think my wonderful daughter would be smart enough to know anything?"

"Hey, did you know sharks eat meat," asks Jun-Li.

We just stared at her. "I blame myself," says my step-mother.

Then the Dragon King showed himself. He's a cyan scale dragon with teal color beard, purple eye shadow, black mascara, and pink claws. He was dress like a land king. "I am the ruler of the undersea dragon kingdom! For I am Ao Guang the Dragon King! I have come with one demand! You, what is your name?"

"Benbo."

"Not you, you idiot! Her!"

"I am Ye Xian," I said.

"Ye Xian, it is your lucky day, I want you to become my bride!"

"What," I asked.

"I know what you're going to do. So, go ahead... squeal." says the Dragon King.

"I'm flattered by your offer, but I have to politely re-" I said before being interrupted.

"Wait a minute, are you trying to reject my offer! I mean that will bad because I always get what I wanted and if I don't get what I want then terrible things will happen especially to the cave Jiaoren, I think you should rethink on what you're going to say, my dear."

I was horrified at what he said.

"She accepts," says my step-mother, "finally, you do something useful."

"And if you're married, I can marry the most handsome male Jiaoren," says Jun-Li.

"But-" I tried.

"Excellent," says the Dragon King, "you heard your father!"

"I'm her step-mother."

"Oh... wow... that's your problem," says the Dragon King, "boys, take Ye Xian with us!"

They then grabbed me.

"Mother, you do kind of look like a man," says Jun-Li.

"Go to bed, Jun-Li."

"But-"

"GO!"

I can't believe this is really happening as I sit in the carriage with the Dragon King who puts his arm around my shoulders and pull me closer to him as he kisses me on the lips which disgust me.
