Chapter 5: The Surface:
Ye Xian's POV:
It's been a year since I managed to escape from the Dragon King, but now I am all alone. I don't know what to do. I was in Korea. I then saw the Joseon Rice Paddy Fields. "UUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmmm... excuse me," I said.
"What do you want," asks the owner.
"Please," I said, "I am in need of food and shelter!"
She then thinks about it. "Tell you what, you can get those things... but you must work for it!"
"Yes, Ma'am," I said, "I am Ye Xian!"
"I'm your new boss, Seo-Hee and this is my daughter, Patjwi." I tried not to gag at the sight of her appearance.

As I was working, Seo-Hee and her daughter were treating me poorly. They are just like my step-mother and half-sister.
"Quit slacking off," says Seo-Hee.
"Hey, you better treat her fairly," says this mysterious girl.
"Who are you," I asked.
"Are you going to let your friend talk to me like that," asks Seo-Hee.
"I don't even know this girl," I said.
"I'm Hyun-Ah!"
"Hi," I said, still confused of what is going on.
. . .
I was told to fill a jug... but there is a hole, so it can never be filled. "Allow me to help you," says this frog, "I am De!"

I then took the jug back to Seo-Hee. "How did you do this," asks Seo-Hee.
"A frog helped me," I said.
"That's the craziest thing I have ever heard," says Seo-Hee, "get back to work!" I then did just that.
