Hey everyone, I hope you guys are interested in a little Luiasy fluff! Luigi and Daisy were my first ship ever!

I just apologize that this fanfic is a bit bare bones and isn't as detailed as my other fanfics. This fanfic was originally the outline of a picture book that I wanted to send to Nintendo...Yeah, I know I was dreaming too big.

And I apologize if my first Luiasy fanfic isn't that exciting. I do got another Luiasy fanfic that has more meat on the bones but I had writer's block and didn't finish this.

I hope you guys enjoy this short fic though. Thanks for reading!

Disclaimer: Mario belongs to Nintendo. This is just a fanfic written by a fan.

Princess Peach was hard at work making a cake for Mario, the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. Peach's toadstool servants helped out with mixing, and Princess Daisy watched from a distance.

Daisy watched as Peach cooked the cake at the right temperature, not at all burnt. And Princess Peach also piped perfect pink frosting.

Mario was delighted to see Princess Peach made him another cake, but he insisted he needed to cut back on the cake. So Mario, the toadstool servants, and even Daisy got a slice of cake.

Everyone went to heaven from the taste of Peach's cake. But even though Daisy enjoyed the cake, she felt something was missing.

"Your cake is wonderful, Peach," said Daisy.

"Thank you very much, Daisy," said Peach.

Luigi ran over while everyone ate, looking urgent.

"Mario!" He cried.

Luigi told Mario they had to go back to work because of an emergency, but at the same time, he was a bit jealous.

"Wha? Everyone is eating cake!" Luigi cried.

Daisy gave Luigi a sympathetic look.

"You're right. We should head back to work. Thank you everyone, for the wonderful cake," Mario said.

Mario grabbed Luigi by the hand and dragged him away. Luigi gave poochy dog eyes for cake.

"Well, I suppose I could make some more cake." Princess Peach said. "But first, we must attend to the garden."

The garden was Daisy's specialty. Along with the toadstool servants, Daisy named the flowers, watered them, and gave them delicious plant food.

She even taught the toadstool people how to tame a Piranha Plant.

After Daisy and the others finished, they sat and enjoyed the beautiful flower gardens while drinking tea.

Then Daisy had an idea.

"Peach, can you teach me how to bake a cake?" Daisy asked.

"Why Daisy?" Peach asked.

'"Because Luigi is a hero too," Daisy said. "And I want to make a cake for him."

Princess Peach thought that was such an excellent idea. She asked her little kitchen helpers for help again.

They decided the cake would have light yellow frosting and be decorated with plenty of frosting flowers.

"I should do most of the work," Daisy said as she grabbed the bowl and the whisk.

Princess Peach and the Toads were a little worried, but they let Daisy work on the cake.

Daisy knew what to do, though. She watched Peach a bunch of times.

She measured flour and sugar, broke some eggs, and mixed the batter.

Of course, Daisy wasn't as experienced as Peach.

Daisy tried to make the batter as smooth as possible, and then it was time to put the cake in the oven.

Daisy was a bit confused by the Mushroom Kingdom oven, though.

There was a red mushroom button, a green mushroom button, and a blue mushroom button.

"Um, Daisy," Princess Peach said.

"I got it!" Daisy said in determination.

She placed the cake in the oven and pressed the red, green, and blue buttons all at once.

Peach and the Toads were relieved to see the oven worked normally, and Princess Daisy felt accomplished.

And then the oven started popping. Multi-colored mushrooms and fireworks popped out, and the stove was shaking.

Daisy tried to stop it, but Princess Peach said it was best not to touch a roaring oven.

The oven made its last round of fireworks and mushrooms until it finally stopped.

Princess Peach thought they should get a firefighter or mechanic, but Daisy grabbed her oven mitts and quickly opened the oven.

Daisy, Peach, and the others noticed the three layers of cake seemed just fine.

While Daisy waited for the cake to cool, she agreed to clean up the kitchen, and the toads joined in.

Daisy was ready to smother the cake layers with yellow buttercream. It seemed like the easiest part.

But the cake was a bit soft and squishy. It was hard to spread frosting.

But Daisy kept going.

The yellow cake was a bit lop-sided and floppy, not like Peach's cakes.

"I just need to add the flowers," Daisy said.

So Daisy added lovely white flowers to the cake. When she finished, the cake looked a bit sloppy, not exactly a masterpiece.

"You did well, Daisy," Peach said.

Daisy slumped in defeat. "I didn't do so well!" Daisy cried. "Luigi wouldn't eat a cake like this!"

Just then, Luigi sniffed. "Is that more cake?" He said.

"Luigi!" Daisy cried.

Daisy tried to hide the cake, but it was too late.

Luigi was soaking wet and tired after all that plumbing work. "I am starving," Luigi said. "I would love to eat that cake."

Daisy couldn't tell Luigi to eat such a cake, but Luigi took a fork, and Daisy closed her eyes as he took a bite.

"This is delicious!" Luigi said.

"Huh?" Daisy cried.

"Daisy made it," Princess Peach said.

"Really?" Luigi was surprised.

Daisy blushed. "Yes…" She said. "I made it for you, Luigi."

"Wow!" Luigi said as he ate more bites of cake.

"It was fun," Daisy said. "But I think I am better at gardening rather than cake baking."

Luigi smiled. "I would love to check out your garden as soon as I finish this yummy cake."

"Sure thing Luigi!" Daisy cried. "You're the best!"
