Cat Noir sat in the moonlight, leaning against a chimney. It was a perfect night, with the full moon washing over his suit. The soft scent of roses drifted by upon the wind, and Cat closed his eyes, imagining a lover bringing home a bouquet to his sweetheart, or perhaps a husband to his wife after a long day…..
"Arrgh! I've had it with school and homework!" Cat's eyes snapped open, finding Ladybug had joined him for patrol, her eyes blazing with blue fire. "M'lady?" Cat stood up, cautiously. "You wouldn't believe the day I had!" she huffed, ignoring his open arms for a hug, and instead begin to pace up and down. "Try me," he hid a smile.
"So, I get caught daydreaming in class, and when I go to pick up a pastry and a coffee from Tom and Sabine's, Papa dumped a bag of flour over me!"
"Bugaboo," Cat begin. "And Adrien has a photo shoot tomorrow, which means I'm going to miss him, and…." "M'lady," Cat tried again. "What?" Ladybug snapped. "Would you like a hug?"
The sour expression still hadn't left her face, but she walked into his arms clinging tight. "Tomorrow will be better, I promise," he whispered into her hair. She made a soft sound and buried her face into his chest. "M'lady, are you-" "I will cuddle you into oblivion!" she barked. Oh, even as mad as a hornet, she was cute!
But she could squeeze tight, and Cat didn't have any movement of his arms. Not to mention he was losing feeling in his left arm. "Love, would you like me to buy you a Starbucks?" he whispered, knowing these words were the "magic words of happiness". "Yes, but more cuddles."
"Well, at least let me return the favor," he chuckled, freeing his arms, and giving her a proper hug. He felt the steam leaving, and she relaxed.
There were times when you needed to cuddle aggressively, and this was one of those times. Or should he say, aggrestively?
