It was getting awkward.

So, so awkward.

"Are you going to stop staring?" Souta asked, sighing as his muscles began to ache from his bound position, "Can you even see me with that blindfold?"

"Chatty, aren't you?" Gojo smirked, "That'll get you killed one day, kid."

"Then what should I be doing?" Souta asked with exasperation, "You aren't really telling me what's happening," He bit his lip, "Yuuji, what happened to–"

A movement near his chest caused his mouth to snap shut.

"Interesting," Gojo hummed, observing as something small peeked from the pocket on Souta's chest, "A Shikigami?"

Paper shaped into a vague human-like figure pulled itself up until it was halfway hanging out of the pocket and its short arm reached for Souta's face.

"Nee-chan!" Souta called out in relief, "Nee-chan, I don't know where I am!" He almost sagged in relief when the protective Shikigami tittered at his voice, "Can you–?"

Oh, man.

His captor was now utterly terrifying.

Gojo removed his blindfold completely and his eyes seemed to glow in the dim light, staring at the Shikigami almost manically.

"A-aha…" Souta swallowed thickly, "Never mind, Nee-chan," His eyes shut, cursing internally, "I'm fine, yep!"

Don't come don't come don't come don't come

His sister was already the fixation of so many weirdos that he did not need to accidentally cause another one to…!

"Really?" Gojo tilted his head, "Kid, you have no idea what I plan to do to you," His smirk did not fade at Souta's alarmed stare, "Don't kill the fun before it starts."

This man was horrifying, never mind terrifying.

"Hey, Nee-chan~" Gojo slowly stood from his chair, "Can you hear me? You can, can't you? Are you just going to let me take your little brother like this?"

Souta let out a breath and then glared hard as the little Shikigami seemed to turn into Gojo's direction.

"I can snap his neck, tear off his limbs, gouge his eyes out," Gojo was far, far too close now, "Of course I won't do that, but you can't be absolutely sure of that unless you come straight here, right Nee-chan? I'm sure you're capable of that much."

"Don't listen to this guy, Nee-chan," Souta shook his head, "He's lying! I mean, yeah, he brought me to… wherever this is, but he did actually save me and some friends of mine from monsters!"

The Shikigami climbed out of his pocket and perched on his shoulder and he felt its arm rest on his face when he moved his head towards it instinctively.

Everything would be fine.
