Extended Summary
Skylar Black, the eldest daughter of Billy Black, left shortly after graduating high school. That was almost six years ago. Still, she visited at least twice a year and the last time she did, she left feeling completely different.
Suddenly, all those times she heard the legends of her tribe meant so much more to her. And at the same time, she felt torn in two, because that meant she had more of a responsibility to her tribe. But at the same time, she felt in her very bones that she was meant to be somewhere else. She knew fully well that she couldn't protect her people if her entire being, her mentality, both human and beast, was somewhere else.
She had mentioned it to her father, and though he never experienced what it was like to be a spirit warrior, he still understood that the pull she felt overrode anything to do with the tribe. It was part of an imprint. It hadn't happened before, not in this way, but it was plausible.
So her father fully supported her decision to leave home and search for her imprint. It was up to them what came after. He knew their tribe would be just fine. She wasn't the only wolf after all. But she was so much more and her tribe would need her in the near future.
It's not the best summary, but I tried.
This is a Fast and Furious series/Twilight saga crossover.
