I extend my open hand towards Shiki's little sister. "It's a pleasure to meet you Akiha! My name is Yuta Okkotsu, Shiki's homie!" One might say I should've introduce myself as someone else's homie to a sophisticated lady like Akiha.

Those people don't understand the art of trying to appear like a irresponsible teenager! I'm need to take the heat of Shiki's back, so I'm trying to look like an average teenager.

Which is also why I have the most infuriating smirk known to men, practiced over many years of annoying Shiki.

Akiha looks at my hand like it's a cockroach, still with a look of disgust she slowly shakes it with her own.

Her tone is frigid. "It's a pleasure meeting you as well Okkotsu." I doubt it! Also please don't call me by my last name.

She continues. "As you already know, my name is Akiha Tohno." She puts emphasis on her surname.

I'm guessing she wants me to be a polite Japanese boy who calls her by her last name. Tough luck, I'm the worst of the worst.

I smile. "Yep, your name sure is Akiha, anyways feel free to call me by my first name, you're Shiki's little sister after all." One day her name shall become Akiha Okkotsu!

Actually she comes from a big rich family, so it's more likely that I become Yuta Tohno instead... Then again, Arcueid seems even more important, so maybe Yuta Brunestud is in the cards as well.

She sighs. "I wouldn't want to disrespect you Okkotsu." Oh! So you're secretly attacking me as well!?

I chuckle. "Don't worry, I don't find disrespectful at all." Even if you obviously do! To be honest it's pretty hard to find people who care too much about this sort of stuff nowadays, so it's cute.

She holds back a glare. "So what is your purpose here? Do you have any schoolwork to do with my brother?"

She continues, this time with a thinking pose. "And have we met before? Your name seems familiar for some reason..."

Shiki pushes his glasses up. "I wish we had schoolwork." Nerd! "Yuta is here just to annoy me, as usual."

I raise a hand. "Actually I was here to try to gain Hisui's hand in marriage." Oh, how love blooms fast!

Hisui blushes in the background, she holds her plushie tighter... She has been carrying that plushie!?

I can also see Kohaku holding back a giggle, which is a good thing, she's been kind of freaking me out these past few moments.

Now she's either always looking like she's trying to hold back laughter, or giving me a dead stare... My Rika alarms are flaring!

Akiha's eye twitches. "I'm assuming that's a joke? Either way, big brother doesn't have time to fool around, so if you're here to mess around with him, I suggest you leave."

I give her a thumbs up. "It wasn't a joke! I really did try getting Hisui's hand in marriage!" She's way too goddamn cute.

Shiki sighs. "How did you become like this Yuta? You never changed ever since we were kids... Did you hit your head as a baby?" I ignore him.

Akiha looks back at the maids, almost as if seeking confirmation that what I said is true, her eyes are filled with despair.

Hisui nods. "He speaks the truth Lady Akiha, he did indeed propose to me. I rejected him of course, both because we don't know each other for long and because he is already in a relationship."

Kohaku pouts. "Hey!? Why didn't I get a proposal too!? Are you saying I'm inferior to Hisui!?"

Hisui glares at me. "You did not propose to my sister? It appears I was right in rejecting you. Did you not realize the gem that stands before you?"

I give them an apologetic smile. "Sorry Kohaku, would you marry me? I fell for you as soon as I saw your behi- Your beautiful smile."

Kohaku begins playing with her hair. "Oh...? I'm flattered! So how much do you make a year?" I'm a high schooler!

Akiha interrupts us before we go any further, she seems truly shocked. "Hisui!? Kohaku!? Did you two forget any semblance of professionalism!?"

Hisui immediately looks down. "My apologies Lady Akiha, it seems we got lost in this pleasant mood."

Kohaku nods. "Yes, I'm sorry as well Lady Akiha. Please punish me intead of Hisui." Punish!?

Akiha sighs. "I won't punish anyone... Geez, this is unlike you two, and what's with this talk of him already being in a relationship? And pleasant mood? There's nothing pleasant about this..."

Shiki sighs. "As you can see Yuta already stole Hisui and Kohaku. Which brings me to an important point I must make."

He continues. "Akiha, Yuta is already dating a woman, not only that, but he has a date set up with another, they are both aware of this."

She looks immensely confused, while Shiki is giving her a serious look. "My point is this, Yuta is a dangerous man and you are an impressionable teenager, that's why..."

He smiles. "If your heart ever starts beating faster when you start thinking of him, please remember that you deserve better." Hey! That whole thing was just to put me down!?

Akiha can only look to him in disbelief. "Big brother, what?" That's a fair reaction really, but so is Shiki's.

I shrug. "Don't worry too much about it, anyways about your second question... You probably heard of me before."

I continue. "First, Shiki stayed in my place yesterday." Now she's definitely angry. "Second we were both kidnapped as children." And now she seems concerned.

She slowly nods. "A bond developed because both of you experienced the same hardships huh? That's... understandable."

She clenches her fists. "If I ever get my hands on that woman...!" Sensei would kill you, so please don't try it!

She then shakes her head. "That said, please leave Okkotsu. Do not misunderstand, I'm doing this for you."

She continues. "You are in high school, so right now you should be studying. Big brother can keep up fairly high grades even when being a lazy bum, but can you?" Wow, why did you have to kill Shiki like that!?

I smile. "It's fine! My grades are way higher than Shiki's." Due to a variety of reasons, the most obvious one being the fact that I'm reincarnated.

That made stuff easy as hell! Though things are changing now that I'm high school, and it's not like my memories ever helped with Japanese.

But as it turns out... I'm a genius! I never study, but I'm always scoring pretty high, not top of the school high, but I've gotten plenty of praise.

I definitely wasn't this smart before I died, in fact I kinda sucked at math for example. I can only assume this new brain of mine is better or something.

Shiki nods. "It pains me to admit it, but he's right. I could never score higher than Yuta." Stay in your lane, you stupid little man!

Akiha's eyes are open wide. "R-really? I guess I shouldn't have judged the book by its cover." Do I look stupid!?

That said, I'm surprised she hasn't said anything about my polyamorous relationship... Is she just acting like it isn't her business?

Well, it's not like I am in a polyamorous relationship in the first place. I'm still not Arcueid's boyfriend after all... We're just going on a date, she could still reject me.

I take out the chocolate box out of it's bag. "Anyways, I bought you a gift. It's an apology for yesterday."

I give her the chocolates who cost way too much money. "I take full responsibility for yesterday, I shouldn't have dragged in Shiki into my shenanigans."

Akiha seems genuinely surprised. "Oh? There's no need for that, though I do appreciate your sincerity."

She slowly takes the chocolate, but before looking at it she says. "Seriously, there's no need to spend your money on gifts for me..."

Hisui comments from the back. "Actually Lady Akiha, Yuta has brought gifts for everyone in the mansion."

Akiha gasps. "Seriously? I... Tell me how much they cost and I will pay you back." Why are you eyes full of pity!? Do you think I'm some poor high schooler who wasted all of his money!?

I shake my head. "It's fine Akiha, I'm not struggling financially or anything... Actually my family is pretty well off."

She slowly nods. "I see..." And then she finally looks at the box. "M-my favorite brand..." It is!? Lucky!

I can see the terror in Shiki's eyes. "W-what's happening? Why are you two getting along?" I'm confused as well.

Akiha chuckles. "It's because Yuta is apparently a respectable young man of course." She called me Yuta!

She gives me an apologetic look. "Still it's now my turn to apologize, I'm sure your parents must have been bothered by having a sudden visitor."

I give her a reassuring smile. "It's fine, I live alone. My parents just pay the rent for me." Which makes my theoretical harem life easier!

Akiha seems surprised. "Oh my! You live alone? How responsible... I don't think big brother could ever handle that."

Ah, I just realized something... You're mad at Shiki huh? You're just using me to fire shots at Shiki huh? That's why you ignored the relationship part huh? Amazing.

I can go along with this. "Oh by the way, I was also the star of the kendo club a while ago, I went undefeated for quite some time."

She smiles. "How amazing, my big brother would never have the dexterity to do that... I suppose you're just better than him." Little sister NTR!?

Akiha scoffs. "As I would ever fall for this ruffian! For him to even gaze at me is like a human gazing at the sun, soon enough you will go blind." Wow! That was certainly a thing you just said.

Akiha continues. "Now I understand that, if what you have been bragging about is true, you could have seduced some common women with no class."

She clenches her fists. "But I am not some harlot from your school! And if a miracle did fall unto you, I would never let you have a harem."

She's glaring at me. "I would destroy it, I won't share my lover with anyone else! So even if you're handsome, skilled, intelligent and come from a good family, you have no chance with me."

Shiki immediately glares at me. "As you can see, Akiha is extremely easy. I can't stop you, but be aware that if you play with her heart I will kill you." I can only nod to that, I respect the protectiveness of a big brother.

Akiha's face is now red. "Big brother!? What gave you the idea I'm easy!? I just said I'm not!" Maybe it was the shower of compliments you just gave me.

I can hear Kohaku snickering in the background. "Lady Akiha's first crush... Good girls always fall for bad boys huh?"

Hisui quickly nods. "Indeed, Lady Akiha is the perfect woman, so she couldn't help, but like the most imperfect man."

Kohaku begins nodding as well. "Soon enough she's going to ride on his motorcycle with him! How un-Akiha of her!"

Akiha glares at them with all she has. "Did you two forget to stay quiet!? I'm pretty sure I already warned you two."

Kohaku almost jumps from fear. "I'm sorry Lady Akiha! I won't mock your crush anymore!" Hisui does the same, she stays silent however, because she's smart.

Akiha stomps on the ground. "I... I do not have a crush on him! Stop saying that!" She then looks at me. "And you! Leave! Now!"

"I can't believe I was kicked out." So this is what it feels like when my actions have consequences huh?

Shiki sighs. "Sorry about that, don't worry though, you're free to come back whenever you want from now on."

I raise an eyebrow. "When did I get such a privilege? Are you being threatened by someone?"

He shakes his head. "No, it's just that... I realized you're good for the people in the mansion."

He smiles. "You know, when I was young I was terrified of people. That's because I always felt like a stranger to everyone."

He looks down. "But then you came and broke through every single one of my defenses. In that way you are very similar to Sensei. You treat everyone like a longtime friend."

He chuckles. "You broke through Hisui's silence, I could see that she really liked her gift. I wasn't expecting that, she doesn't give the vibe of someone who likes that type of stuff, since she's always so quiet."

He continues. "And it's genuinely impressive how much Kohaku began liking you, I guess it's because you two are similar people. She seemed genuinely sad that you were leaving."

He then looks up. "And then there's Akiha, she's always so... Refined, but you made her lose her cool."

He's holding back laughter. "Seriously, Akiha! She was so embarrassed she kicked you out! She acted like... like a normal teenage girl."

I see... But I know my bro for long enough that I can tell when he's insecure. Shiki probably wants to do the things I did by himself after all.

I pat his shoulder. "I will visit... But don't give me so much credit. The only reason Akiha was so comfortable with a weirdo like me, was because her big brother was there to protect her."

Something's off.

He smiles. "Thanks, and trust me, I will protect her. Like I said, I can't stop you... I don't want to stop you, but don't break her heart, or you will regret it."

There's definitely something wrong.

I smile back. "You're talking like she's dating me already. I'm pretty sure she meant it when she said she didn't have a crush on me."

My body is shivering.

Shiki laughs. "Yeah, but I know you... So I don't doubt you can do it, specially since Rika has been so happy lately." That's true.

I can't help it anymore, I turn around and finally see...! "Noel-Sensei?" I ignore Shiki's surprise at my sudden turn.

So that feeling that was invading my body was just Noel? I guess I'm getting paranoid... Wait, what is she doing here?

Shiki greets her, though he is clearly surprised. "Yo sensei! How is it going?" You have more spine than I do, because I'm still freaked out.

Noel smiles. "Oh? Who would have guessed I would meet two of my students here? And everything is fine with your cute teacher~."

Tohno gives her an awkward smile. "Well, I live on that mansion that's just behind me, and Yuta was visiting."

Noel makes a surprised face. "Seriously? I guess you are loaded! It seems you have a easy future ahead of you."

I... Why has my body not stopped shivering yet? Why are my instincts freaking out? Is Noel really the problem here?

Noel's face shifts into something else, I would almost call it... Sadistic? "So, why don't we go and hang out? Since you two are here..."

Shiki sighs. "Sensei, please remember that we are both students, so that would be highly inappropriate."

Sensei starts getting closer to us. "Oh, but I insist! Don't worry, I'll pay for everything, since I'm the adult here~."

She puts her hand on my shoulder. "So what do you think huh? You've been really quiet until now Okkotsu." That's because...!

Something's here, he takes Noel's hand off my shoulder, he was close enough to do that. How was he close enough to do that?

He is massive, his entire body looks like it's made of muscles, and he has a scar on his lip... He looks like a stereotypical Yakuza.

"Yo lady, scram." His voice sounds commanding, for some reason I can imagine him being a pharaoh.

She glares at him. "And you are?" Not someone I know, that's for sure... I would have remembered someone like this.

Shiki is now just as silent as I am, both him and I realize this man is dangerous. Noel is the exception, she's putting her head in the lion's mouth.

The man smiles. "No one that important... But I have some business with the Tohno's over here so I happened to be in the area."

He continues. "Now, as an actual responsible adult, it's only natural I would stop this weird adult I just saw, right?"

She just repeats the same thing. "Who are you?" Noel is fucking stupid, doesn't she realize she should be running for the hills?

The man grins. "Name's Toji Fushiguro, now would you like to get dinner one of these days?" How did you shift into flirting!?

Noel sighs, but shakes her head. "Whatever, I don't have any business here." And then she leaves. We are now alone with the lion.

Toji makes a shoo away motion with his hands. "Now you kiddos leave as well, preferably in the opposite direction from where she went."

Finally Shiki says something. "I'm a Tohno though, I live here." Ah! That's true, maybe we shouldn't be afraid after all!

Toji makes a surprised face. "For real!? You don't give demon vibes at all!" What's that supposed to mean!?

Whatever, I'm going home, I have a vampire to hunt.
