Ari pushed in her glasses trying to understand the dilemma "what do you mean by that exactly" Ari said sounding a little put off by this information
"there is no place in this world where this soul belongs" the dark mirror said "how can this be? My, but today is a veritable cavalcade of impossible phenomena" Crowley said looking at his hands in despair
"how dramatic" Ari said stepping away from Crowley "this has never happened throughout my long tenure. I must confess that I am at something of a loss" Crowley said trying to understand why this was happening
"tell me from what land do you hail" Crowley said "Red Grave City" Ari said "I'm afraid I'm not familiar with such a place" Crowley said making Ari sweatdrop
"I am intimately acquainted with the origins of every student who has come here, and yet... this mysterious homeland of yours eludes me" Crowley said
"let us go to a library and look it up shall we" Crowley said "agreed" Ari said following Crowley "be careful goddess" the dark mirror said
Ari stopped for a moment and looked back at the dark mirror then closed her eyes and smiled "I'll try to be careful" Ari said and followed Crowley
in the library...
"just as I suspected nothing, not only is your homeland not listed on any map from any point in history, Now are you quite sure that you come from such a place?" Crowley said
"what the hell do you mean of course I know what my own homeland is it's just not here" Ari said quite irritated with Crowley losing her patience
"because if it is, the only explanation is you came from another planet, or perhaps you were summoned her from another dimension" Crowley said
"that seems like the most reasonable explanation" Ari said nodding to the dimension story "mama I'm cold" Rias said mumbling to herself
"do you have some form of identification, a driver's license perhaps?" Crowley said as Ari slowly set Rias against the wall so she could keep napping and searched her own pockets
"is this acceptable" Ari said showing Crowley her identification "it seems you are indeed telling the truth" Crowley said as Ari got irritated
"what do you mean I've been telling the truth this whole time...I'm getting a little annoyed with your attitude" Ari said annoyed "something tells me your not quite human" Crowley said
"gee did you need a rocket scientist to figure that out...of course I'm not human not by your standards anyway...and neither is Rias" Ari said crossing her arms
"there is a vacant building on this campus, it was in fact used as a dorm a long time ago. with a proper cleaning, it should be habitable enough" Crowley said
Ari picked up Rias bridal style so she could sleep better then walked past Crowley but stopped "oh I should probably warn you" Ari said turning around as the books in the library shook and the wind blew inside
"if you even dare to do anything to me or my daughter Rias I will make sure you or any person who dares to touch her will be punished that's the way I was taught as a devil, goddess hybrid" Ari said with a deadly glare
Crowley felt his body tremble slightly hearing that she was a devil, goddess hybrid she could easily make him regret he ever lived so he better not anger her
"right...I'll keep that in mind" Crowley said with a gulp "good...now if you could please show me this dorm" Ari said carrying Rias as she was sleeping
"in the meantime, we will investigate other ways to send you home" Crowley said 'you know I actually could make a Portal back home...but I feel like if I don't stay I might regret it' Ari thought to herself
"well then, I shall take you to your dorm straight away. it is an older building, but it has plenty of Character one might say" Crowley said "just show me the dorm already" Ari said impatiently

"You've got to be kidding me" Ari said feeling a little put off by the way it looks "isn't it delightful? Right, scoot inside now, there you go" Crowley said urging her inside
"this should keep the elements at bay for the time being, now, I should return to my research. do try and find some way to busy yourself" Crowley said as he left
"..." Ari looked at the place and sighed waving her hand around making the magic clean and refurnish the area with clean furniture then set Rias on the couch so she could continue sleeping
"oh well it's not like this place is gonna clean itself...I better get to work" Ari said then heard water falling "looks like it started to rain" Ari said looking out the window
she heard a familiar voice "gwah! it's pouring out there!" "You have got to be kidding me" Ari said a headache already forming as grim looks at her
"eh...aren't you surprised to see me" grim said "not really I figured you would somehow sneak your way in the campus" Ari said with an eye roll
"I ain't givin' up on goin' here just 'cause I got kicked out one measly time. And if you think otherwise, you don't know grim" grim said as Rias rubbed her eyes tiredly and woke up
"why are you so determined to go to this school?" Ari said curiously "I was born to do this! I'm a magical prodigy who's got the makin's to become one of the greatest mages who ever lived" grim said
"so I've been waitin' and waitin' for the black carriage to come for me. the dark mirrors got no eye for talent...that's why I took the initiative and came here myself" grim said crossing his paws
'he's more like a walking disaster' Ari thought to herself then sighed "why's it so loud mama" Rias said yawning "look Rias kitty is back" Ari said smirking
"Myeow but I'm not a cat...and why is she calling you mama" grim said as Rias grabbed grim and nuzzled him Ari chuckled as Rias was infatuated with the cat like creature
Ari used magic to fix the holes in the roof "you could help me" Ari said looking at him "you want me to help you! ha you got the wrong idea. I'm just a stranger takin' shelter from the rain. you ain't the boss of me" grim said smirking
Ari was unfazed "Rias you can squeeze him tighter if you want" Ari said making grim sweatdrop "ok momma" Rias said making grim feel like he was being squished who knew such a small girl had such incredible strength
Ari walked upstairs and then saw some ghosts "is this another hallucination" Ari said "no hallucinations here" one of the ghosts said as Ari sighed
"we haven't had visitors in ages" one of the ghosts said "we haven't had a goddess here before though" the second ghost said making grim gasp
"eh your a goddess, then you could get me a can of tuna now and what's with all these ghosts myea" grim said as Ari pushed in her glasses
"all the people who used to live here got scared of us and ran away" the 3rd ghost said "we just want a new ghost to play with what do you say buddy" the 1st ghost said
"sorry I don't really have a death wish and I need to clean this place up a bit" Ari said snapping her fingers making the inside clean and liveable
grim started shooting blue fireballs at the ghosts but they kept disappearing and reappearing "mama what's all this noise" Rias said tiredly
"not now sweetie mama is dealing with something at the moment" Ari said pushing in her glasses assessing the situation as her eyes glowed slightly
"maybe if you beat them the headmage will let you enroll" Ari said "Myah...?! hmph...I'm grim, master sorcerer! how come I can't hit one of these little..." grim said irritated
"perhaps your in need of assistance" Ari said with a sigh "you, goddess! tell me which way the ghosts are" grim said no sooner grim had said that "on your left" Ari said as grim shot a fireball at it not missing
after awhile grim got rid of the ghosts with ease thanks to Ari's help "thanks for your help..." Ari looked down at grim "aw...I was so scar...I mean they didn't faze me one bit" grim said pretending not to be scared
'scaredy cat' Ari thought and cleared out two rooms with magic 'I'll just do the rest of the rooms another day' Ari thought to herself as she cracked her neck
"Rias bedtime" Ari said "okay mama" Rias said as she went into the room to sleep then Crowley came in with food in hand
"good evening. in another gesture of my immense kindness, I have brought you dinner" Crowley said holding two trays of food in his hands
"wait that's the creature we ejected for causing trouble at the orientation! what is it doing here" Crowley said "takin' care of yer ghost problem that's what your welcome by the way" grim said with a smug grin on his face
"but you know, on that topic, I do seem to recall that this dorm had a mischievous ghost problem" Crowley said "Why didn't you mention that when we first got here" Ari deadpanned
"and your saying you two joined forces to drive them away" Crowley said "joined forces ain't how I'd exactly describe it" grim said as Ari put a hand on her hip
"I bet you'd say you did all the work without any help at all right" Ari said darkly "hey wait a minute I never got those cans of tuna you promised" grim said to Ari
"that's because I never made such a promise in the first place" Ari said sweatdropping "would you two be so kind as to show me your ghost eradicating methods for me?" Crowley said
"One, no, 'Cause I already wiped 'em all out. and two, no, 'cause where's my tuna" grim said impatiently "I will play the part of the ghosts, as for the tuna, you'll receive it when you defeat me. oh what generosity, Crowley..." Crowley said
'what a scumbag' Ari thought to herself annoyed "now to chug this transmutation potion" Crowley said as he turned into a ghost but still had his mask and top hat
"ah...you gotta be kidding me we gotta work together again" grim said tiredly "this could be your only chance to enroll" Ari said pushing in her glasses
"alright but this is the last time" grim said as Ari instructed him and he hit the mark each time...
"well" grim said panting heavily "incredible... I've never seen anyone bend a monster to their will quite the way you have" Crowley said as Ari sighed
"I must confess, my educator's intuition did sense something about you after that brouhaha at orientation" Crowley said as Ari narrowed her eyes at him making Crowley laugh nervously
"would it be possible for grim to stay here" Ari said "what? a monster, stay here?" Crowley said "did you just..." grim was baffled that Ari would help him enroll
"very well" Crowley said "what really" grim said excitedly "let me be clear! under no circumstances would I admit anyone to Night Raven College who has not been selected by the dark mirror- especially not a monster" Crowley said
"nor do I into intend to allow you, and your daughter to freeload until you're able to return home" Crowley said "never shoulda got my hopes up" grim said disappointed
"it was the dark mirror that brought you here, therefore this school does bear some responsibility for your well-being so I will allow you to remain in this dorm free of charge" Crowley said
"how kind of you" Ari said sarcastically "could you please get to the point already I need my sleep" Ari said with a sigh "however you will need to pay for your own food, clothing and incidentals" Crowley said
"as to how you will do so..." Ari cut Crowley off "you better watch your words if you make me angry I will not hesitate to smack you" Ari said annoyed
"you needn't seem so alarmed. I'm simply going to ask you to do a few odd jobs around campus...I can tell you know your way around a broom" Crowley said
"gee thanks...is that supposed to be a compliment or an insult because either way that's stereotyping woman who clean right" Ari said feeling annoyed
"so what do say about you two working together as a janitorial team" Crowley said making Ari shake her shoulders in anger her face darkened as she laughs darkly
this made Crowley shiver but he continued talking "if you agree to that, I will make a special exception and allow you to remain on campus" Crowley said
"I'll also allow you to use the library, so that you may study, and research ways to return home" Crowley said Ari sighed "what other choice do I have...but don't make Rias work she is only a 7 year old child after all" Ari said
"I wanna put on one of those sweet uniforms and be a student, not sweep up people's junk" grim said unhappily "if your not satisfied with my offer, I can always throw you out again" Crowley said
"alright fine I'll do it" grim grumbled unhappily "hah...suppose I don't have another choice in the matter so I'll comply" Ari said with a sigh "wonderful. then I beseech you both..." Crowley said
"to hard work as the newest members of Night Raven Colleges janitorial staff" Crowley said 'not exactly something to be proud of' Ari thought to herself
Ari saw Crowley leave and she took the trays to Rias so she could eat before she went to sleep and ate with her so she wouldn't feel lonely then Ari fell asleep in her own room
