Chapter 1: The Wonder:
Alice's POV:
My name is Alice, and I am the Captain of the Wonder. We were being attacked by pirates. I was not going to let them take my Father's ship, so we fought back. We then defeated the pirates and sent them away.

I finally returned to London from China and was greeted by my Mother. "Alice, I am so glad you have returned," says Mother.

We returned home and my fiancé, Cyrus was there. "Hamish has my Father's company," I asked.
"Hamish is the new Lord Ascot," says Mother.
"You think he might still be bitter that you chose me over him," asks Cyrus.
"Well, I have a proposition for him," I said.
"As a reminder, you're engaged to me," says Cyrus.
"And Hamish has gotten married," says Mother.
"A business proposition," I said, "come on!"

We arrived at Hamish's home. "I don't think what you're wearing would be appropriate," says Mother.
"If it's good enough for China, it should be good enough for Hamish," I said.
"I hope he won't think we're wasting his time," says Cyrus.
"Time is a thief and a villain," I said.
"Alice, I don't think it's natural to have a grudge on time itself," says Cyrus, "it's not a person."
"Let's go," I said.

We were then looking for Hamish. "I haven't found him," says Cyrus.
I then noticed the food he was eating. "Perhaps you ate him," I said, "let's keep looking."
Cyrus' POV:
We were still looking for Hamish. "Interesting party, isn't it," asks this strange man.
"I'd say it is," I said, "do I know you? You seem a bit... familiar."
"I doubt we've met. Lewis Caroll!"
"Cyrus Baker," I said, "my fiancé wants to talk to Hamish about her Father's company."
"Family. I had one once. Someone took them from me. I never liked our profession, but still, after what happened to them, I would do anything to make that bi- to make that witch pay."
"I see," I said, "by the way, good job on catching yourself before you swore."
"Yes... I was about to swear, wasn't I?" He then left.
I know he reminds me of someone, but who?
Alice's POV:
My mother and I then found Hamish and his wife, Alexandra, and their baby, Mansfield.
"Alice, it has been a while," says Hamish.
"We need to talk," I said, "about my Father's company!"
"Of course," says Hamish, "come this way!"
. . .
He then introduced me to the board. "Your Mother had to give us the company," says Hamish, "but there is one thing... your ship!"
"It's my Father's ship," I said.
"Well, then your ship in exchange for your home," says Hamish.
"You're doing this to get back at me for rejecting you," I said.
"Alice, captain of a ship is no place for a woman," says Hamish.
I then walked away.

It takes place three years after Return to Wonderland. Alice Kingsleigh and Cyrus Baker are 25 Yrs Old. Alice Kingsleigh and Cyrus Baker are engaged to each other. In the next chapter, Alice finds a strange looking glass.
