I woke up alone once again. I wasn't sure where Rachel had gone, but I wasn't really worried about her. It was possible that she had had sex with someone, but I wasn't too worried about that either. She wasn't even feeding on people. My main concern was trying to find a way to get Stefan and Damon to stay in town. I still wasn't sure why either of them wanted to leave. It especially didn't make sense for Stefan to want to leave because if Damon was leaving, he would be able to stay unless he wanted to follow Damon and make sure that he wasn't killing people, but that probably wasn't any of his concern outside of Mystic Falls.

I put on a black sleeveless top with a pink cardigan and a pink plaid skirt with a black belt and matching choker and fishnets. I was pretty sure that people were beginning to think of me as the goth girl around school but I didn't care. I didn't need to be the most popular girl in school, especially since I was only a sophomore and I was also a vampire. I didn't even know how long I would be staying. I headed downstairs were both Stefan and Damon were.

"So any idea where you'll go." Stefan asked his brother.

"I don't know. Maybe London. I could see some friends." Damon replied.

"You don't have any friends, Damon." Stefan argued. That seemed kind of mean. Also, how would he know that?

"You're right, Stefan. I only have the two of you." Damon replied facetiously. "So where are we going?"

"I'm not going anywhere." I declared defiantly.

"I'm not going anywhere with you." Stefan replied. That was basically the same thing that I said. Did he really have to copy me?

"But we're a team. We could try out for The Amazing Race." Damon proposed. You know I had never met anyone who actually watched that show. It was supposed to be popular, but I didn't know anyone who had ever seen it.

"That's funny." Stefan quipped. "Seriously where are you going because you're not staying here?"

Who was he to tell Damon he couldn't stay? Wouldn't it be better to stay to keep an eye on him.

"You know both of you could just not go." I declared. "I haven't had a family in over 45 years and I would rather not ruin it."

I wasn't sure if it was going to work. I needed something quick because it wasn't like a reason for them to stay was just going to knock on the door.

At that time, the bell rang and I opened it to find Sheriff Forbes.

"Hello, Sheriff. How can I help you?" I asked.

"I'm here to see Damon." She answered. Damon then came to the door.

"Sheriff, what can I do for you?" He questioned.

"There's been in an incident." She stated. Had Damon killed someone else without my knowledge? Though, the fact that he seemed confused made me think that he hadn't.

After a few minutes, the two of them headed outside. I decided to follow them because I wanted to hear it myself.

"What's going on?" I asked her.

"This doesn't really concern you." She replied.

"Sheriff, you came to my house. I am definitely concerned." I pointed out.

"There's been another animal attack." She stated.

"So? Damon doesn't work for animal control." I remarked. "I want the truth."

"It was a vampire." She said with a sigh. I gasped. "A female victim was found on Maple St. this morning drained of blood."

Damon definitely looked confused by that. So either he was the world's greatest actor, which was unlikely, or he hadn't done it. Also that was right by Elena's house.

"What? I thought all of troubles were done when I staked the blonde." Damon declared.

"She must have turned someone or multiple someones." The sheriff replied. I was pretty sure that Damon hadn't turned anyone else in Mystic Falls but Vicki. Also, why did it have to be Lexi who had turned them?

"So what are we going to do about it?" I asked. She didn't seem to have any sort of plan.

"We were hoping that your brother could tell us." She said. I thought people were supposed to know that Damon wasn't my brother. "He's the only one who's ever dealt with a vampire before."

"Well vampires can't come out during the day." I replied. "I bet whoever it is isn't going to come out until after dark."

It would also give us some time to plan about what we were going to do.

"I'll keep you posted if we find anything." Damon declared as he led her back in and out the door. "Thank you for stopping by."

As soon as she left, Stefan pinned Damon against the wall.

"You killed someone else?" He asked accusingly.

"He didn't do it, Stefan." I told him.

"Of course I didn't." Damon said as he shoved Stefan off. "First, don't touch me and second, if I did, I wouldn't be so obvious about it."

"Then who could it be?" Stefan questioned.

"Why do we care? We're leaving anyway." Damon stated.

"I can't leave now. You know that." Stefan replied. So it seemed like the answer to my problem had literally come knocking at the door. At least it was a temporary answer. Whoever this vampire was, I would need to mentally thank them for helping me. I wasn't going to actually thank them because they could be dangerous. What it mostly gave me was time to figure out a long-term solution. This was probably also something that I should tell Elena about.

"It's too bad that we can't use the compass to find the vampire."

"That gives me an idea." Damon said before he took the compass and ran off. I couldn't follow him because I had no idea where he was going. I sighed and looked over at Stefan.

I decided that what I should try to do was find Rachel and probably tell Elena about the vampire attack, even though I thought that Stefan might want to do that. I then remembered that I could just text Rachel to find out where she was. I took out my phone and did that.

"I'm at school." She replied. Oh right, it was a school day. Things had been weird lately. There was also going to be a career fair at the school tonight. Why they were doing it on a school night, I wasn't sure. I headed to school because I felt that Elena would be there as well.

I went to school and started to look around for Rachel as I walked. As I was doing it, I realized that I shouldn't have done it because I crashed right into someone.

"I'm sorry." I told the girl.

"Hmm I didn't know that there was another goth girl at this school." She told me.

"I didn't know either." I replied. However, just because we had the same style didn't mean that we needed to be friends. "I'm Brandy."

"I'm Anna and I need to get to class." She remarked. It was weird that she walked away so quickly, especially since school didn't start for another fifteen minutes.

"Hmm she looks like that girl that you hooked up with at the Met Gala." Rachel said as she appeared behind me. I nearly jumped.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to sneak up on me?" I asked.

"Clearly not enough because you don't know I'm still going to do it." Rachel said.

"I mean she doesn't have to be that girl from the Met Gala." I replied. I didn't remember a lot of that night because I had a lot to drink. "Short Asian girls aren't exactly uncommon. Sure, she was taller than both of us, but she was still was short especially in comparison to people at the Met Gala. "Anyway, where were you last night?'

"I stayed over at Caroline's house again. I wanted to see how she was after the freaky stuff with Emily." I said.

"And that was the only reason?" I teased.

"Yes, it was. I can be friends with a girl." She said. "Besides she's not my type."

I didn't know that Rachel had a type. She seemed to be pretty indiscriminate when hooking up with people. I decided that I wouldn't press it any more.

After school, Elena and I were walking outside when we saw Stefan was there.

"What's up?" She asked. She was probably surprised that see him.

"I need to talk to you." He declared. Now would probably be a good time to talk about it.

"About what?" She questioned.

"There's another vampire in town." I explained. "A body was found just down the street from you."

"Who could it be?" Elena asked out loud.

"We don't know but it's probably someone because usually a vampire wouldn't leave a body out like that unless it was to leave a message." Stefan replied.

"And you're sure it wasn't Damon?" She asked.

"Yes." I answered. I didn't know if Stefan was, but I definitely was. "He's been trying to keep a low profile lately."

"Well what are we doing about it?" Elena responded.

"Damon's tracking them right now." Stefan explained. I still wasn't sure what he was doing. "We're telling you because we don't want to keep secrets, not because we want you to get involved."

"I thought you were coming by to say goodbye." Elena replied with a frown.

"We're not leaving yet." Stefan said before he left.

"I'm working on it." I told her before I also left.

Part of me thought that I should call Damon to see if I he would tell me what he was doing, but I wasn't even sure if he would pick up. He seemed to like me more than he liked Stefan, but I still didn't know if he liked me enough to tell me what he was doing. It was quite possible that it was still morally gray. Pretty much everything Damon did was at least morally gray if not worse.

I tried to think about the vampire could possibly be. I knew we weren't exactly rare, but what reason did any vampire have to be in Mystic Falls because it wasn't exactly the biggest place around. I wondered if anyone else was trying to open the tomb. I had a feeling that there was more than one way to open it. Rachel told me that there was multiple spells that could do things but generally you would need to go with the ones that were least likely to kill you. Whoever wanted it open could be related to one of the 27 vampires that was in the tomb.

Rachel and I then went to the school together. She had changed into a white cardigan and black jeans. As soon as I got there, I saw Kelsey was there.

"So I guess since you're not going to be with Elena, you ask the other girl you have a crush on out." Rachel teased.

'I don't have a crush on Kelsey." I replied.

"Why won't you call her Ms. Rogers then?" She challenged.

"We've been over this. It's hard for me to think of someone so young in a position of authority." I declared.

"Well you should go talk to her. At least so you can pretend that you're interested in this." Rachel proposed as she pushed me towards the teacher.

"Hey Brandy." She greeted.

"Hi Kelsey," I remarked. I realized that I forgot to correct myself. "I shouldn't have called you that."

"It is my name and it's not exactly school hours either." She told me. "I'm surprised that you're here. I didn't take you as the type who would work."

"I'll have you know that I used to co-own a record shop." I replied. I wasn't in it for the money though. "So I never asked. What made you want to get into teaching, specifically theatre?"

"What's wrong with teaching?" She snapped.

"Nothing." I replied with a blush. "It's just…I thought…"

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you." She said. It was another night when she was surprisingly irritable. There had to be an underlying cause for that. I took a quick sniff and found that what I was thinking was not the reason. "To answer your question, I wanted to be an actress but I did not want to go to New York or LA and wait tables, so I took the classes in college and my professor said that I should become a teacher and it's a nice job for someone with a lot of student loan debt."

"I can get rid of that debt for you." I remarked.

"I don't need you to do that for me." She stated. "Also how?"

"I mean the easy way would be to just give you the money, but I could also compel someone into forgiving your debt." I stated.

"I don't think that's right." She said. At that moment, I couldn't help but see the mayor taking Jeremy and Tyler outside. She walked out after them and I followed her. "What's going on here?"

"It's nothing you should worry about, Sweetie." The mayor replied. She looked pissed when he said that.

"Don't call me, Sweetie." She scolded him. "I am an adult and a teacher at this school and I want to know what you're doing."

"I just want to let these two fight like men." The mayor stated. "It's none of your concern."

"It sounds like child abuse to me." Kelsey argued.

"Don't talk to me like that. I could have your job." He threatened.

"Then I might have to go to the state police or maybe you and me would be out here fighting." Kelsey declared. "And just so you know, I fight dirty."

The mayor took his son inside, leaving the two of us with Jeremy.

"That was badass." I told her.

"I really hate men like that. It's a shame that he's the mayor." Kelsey replied. "I guess I know who I'm going to be voting for next election. You two should come inside with me."

We went inside and Jeremy went off to do his own thing, leaving me with Kelsey.

"Is it weird that I see someone who looks just like Logan standing there?" She asked. I looked over and there he was. He even waved at me.

"I think you should let me handle this myself." I told her. I walked over to him. "What are you doing here?"

"You know your brother asked me the same thing after I shot him." He answered. I sighed. It was another person who thought that Damon was my brother. "But why don't we skip the awkward 'Who turned me?' question and get to the good part. How do I become a daywalker?"

I decided that it would probably be a good idea to not reveal any other information to him. As far as he knew, the only other vampires in town were me and Damon and I didn't want him to know about Stefan or Rachel.

"Damon and I are the only ones that I know of." I lied.

"But you're both very cagey on the how, which means there is a way." He noted. I supposed he was a decent reporter. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm quite the celebrity in this town. I could very easily expose the two of you."

Well I could tell that he obviously didn't know very much about being a vampire. I did want to wipe that smirky little grin off of his face, but I couldn't exactly kill him in the middle of the hallway.

"You really should know better than to threaten me." I declared. "You will never be able to walk in the sun. I'll even give you some free knowledge. Vampires get stronger with age and I could tear you apart before you could even blink. I'll give you one chance to leave town because if I see you again, I will do just that."

I then walked off to find Rachel. As soon as I did, Damon called. I went outside to take it.

"Logan Fell is our mystery vampire." He said. I then realized that Logan was the one who had killed that woman. Yeah, I definitely wasn't going to thank him, but I was at least grateful that his antics were keeping Stefan and Damon in town a little bit longer. "As soon as I see him, I'm going to rip his heart out."

"Are you okay?" I asked him. Rachel looked at me funny, but I actually did care.

"No, he ambushed me and he ruined a perfectly good shirt." Damon stated. At least I wasn't the only one with an outfit ruined by him. "I just need to find him."

"He's here at the school." I explained.

"Well I'll be right there." He told me. At that point, I noticed Elena was there with Stefan.

"Was there something that you wanted to share with me?" She asked.

"Logan's a vampire. We don't know who turned him, but we need to get him away from the crowd and kill him." I explained. I hoped that covered it.

"How did he even die in the first place?" Elena asked.

"When I was looking for Vicki, he shot me. Damon killed him and he's the one whose blood Vicki fed from to become a vampire." I declared. "Damon's coming here so let's go back inside."

Once we were inside, we walked over to the first person that we knew. That happened to be Matt. I hoped that he would talk to us.

"Hey, have you seen Logan Fell, the news guy?" Elena asked. It was probably best for her to ask because he actually liked her. I wasn't sure if he still liked her like that, but it was irrelevant.

"Yeah, he was giving Caroline a ride home." He answered. Elena stared in terror. "What?"

At that point, Rachel and I both bolted. I texted Damon to let him know that Logan was on the move and he had Caroline. I felt that rescuing her was more important than killing Logan. If I got the chance, I would still do it, but Caroline was still the priority.

We ended up finding stopping at a stop sign. I would have thought that bad guys didn't follow traffic laws. I tore him out of the car and put it in park. Damon then started to shoot him with some wooden bullets.

"Hello, my name is karma." He declared. It wasn't the best one-liner but I had also heard worse before. I then looked inside and found Caroline. She was unconscious but other than I was pretty sure that she was okay. "Get her out of here now."

"Logan?" Sheriff Forbes asked over his phone which was on speaker.

"Sheriff, it's Brandy. We found Caroline and we're going to get her home." I told her. I wanted to kill Logan but it looked like Damon would do that.

Rachel and I began to take Caroline home. She was carrying her because it would be slightly more believable, even though she was only an inch taller than I was. Caroline did end up waking up before we got to her house.

"Rachel? Brandy? What's going on?" She asked us as Rachel set her down.

"What do you remember?" I asked. We needed to find out if we needed to compel her. I supposed it was a good thing that I hadn't gotten around to getting her the vervain yet. I really needed to do that."

"Logan attacked me." She said. She didn't seem to know that he was a vampire though.

"Damon's taking care of him." I assured her. "He's not going to be able to hurt you ever again. So can we come in and help you with whatever you need?"

I figured that I might need access to her house at some point and it would probably be a good idea to get it out of the way.

"You can come in but I'm fine." She said before we entered her house. Rachel didn't need the invitation but she probably decided that she would wait with me.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Rachel asked.

"I just need some ice." Caroline said. I don't think that we should have another late night together."

I decided that I should head back to the school to tell Stefan and Elena. I did wonder what Caroline meant, but I also knew that the girl had on multiple things said the wrong thing, so it might have just been a poor choice of words. Rachel usually didn't lie about people she was hooking up with because she was very open about her sex life, even a little too much sometimes.

"Well?" Elena asked me.

"She's alright. Rachel and I took her home and she only knows that Logan attacked her." I explained. "We didn't even need to compel her."

"Do you two need a ride home?" Elena asked.

"We can get home." Stefan stated. I decided to nudge him. "Yes."

She took us home and it was mostly quiet. I hoped that tonight would convince him to stay because it was generally safer with him around, despite the fact that he hadn't actually done anything. She stopped in the driveway and I got out as Stefan stayed in the car. I had a feeling that they were going to have a heartfelt conversation and that I shouldn't be there to witness it. I instead went to my room. I just hoped that it would be one of rekindling and not one of goodbye. Elena might be able to convince him to stay better than I would be able to.

However, a few minutes later, I couldn't help but hear something, I couldn't believe it. The two of them were doing it and it…really turned me on. I couldn't believe that I was about to do it, but I took my clothes off and started to touch myself. I needed to try to be quiet so Stefan wouldn't hear me masturbating to them having sex. I decided to put my shirt into my mouth. I was fingering myself. It felt dirty but I didn't even care. A few minutes, I was able to bring myself to my climax and I was definitely glad that I muffled my screams.

I laid back on my bed. It had felt good. I then heard the sounds of someone running and noticed that Elena had hastily exited. I got dressed and went to Stefan's room before I saw her necklace on top of the picture of Katherine. That was not good. I knew that I needed to find her because it was probably dangerous out there.

I started to go on foot and followed the tire tracks. I was a little bit scared because it was pretty late. I found her car and suddenly I saw someone standing in the middle of the road. They were just standing the way. Elena tried to avoid them but she couldn't, colliding with the person in the hoodie before her car flipped over.

So Brandy was there to witness the crash, but that doesn't mean that things won't stay the same and also what's going to happen with Caroline and Rachel? Please don't forget to review.
