When Kagura awoke that morning, she eagerly jumped out of bed and made it, before heading downstairs for her usual breakfast. She speedily darted down the stairs like she always did, then rushed into the kitchen and threw the fridge door open. She grabbed two eggs and skipped the orange juice, then closed the door and quickly began to peel the eggs over the garbage can. As she chewed on them, she ran back upstairs and changed out of her pajamas into her track suit and went out for a jog, since she wouldn't be able to do an evening run with Sakaki coming over to visit. She ran for about 40 minutes, barely breaking a sweat, before swinging by the corner store to pick up some food for the night. Kagura slowed down as she approached the outside of the store, panting a little bit. After standing outside to compose herself, she walked inside and picked up a basket, before journeying up and down the aisles looking for some snacks. She grabbed some grape juice, two bags of potato chips, a couple of large cup noodles, and a bag of chocolate covered pretzels. Kagura walked up to the counter and paid for the goods, then proceeded to walk out of the store. She took her time getting home, since she knows it'd be a long while until Sakaki would arrive. Once she got it, Kagura put the juice in the fridge, the noodles on the counter, greeted her mother in the kitchen, and bought the snacks up to her room. She placed them next to her TV stand and took of her tracksuit, hastily throwing it into her closet, then changed back into her pajamas. "It'll be a while until Sakaki arrives, anyway." She thought to herself. After turning on the TV, she powered up her game console and began to play one of her games. A couple hours later, her mother came knocking at the door. Kagura paused her game and looked up at her mother. "Is your friend going to eat dinner with us tonight?" She asked her daughter. "I'm not sure." Kagura replied. "I bought some noodles just in case, though, so if she hasn't eaten I can make her some."

"Alright, but you two are allowed to eat the leftovers in the fridge, if you want." Kagura's mother told Kagura.

"Thanks." Kagura said. Her mother left the room and Kagura resumed playing her videogames.

As the clock struck 6 o'clock, the doorbell rang. Kagura paused her game and looked up at the clock. "Shoot!" She quickly thought to herself. She hastily took off her pajamas and tried to get into some normal clothes. "KAGURA!" Her mother yelled up the stairs. "I'll get, mom!" Kagura cried back down, hastily shoving her legs through a pair of jeans. As soon as she zipped up the fly she grabbed a crop top, put it on, and opened her door and headed down the stairs. As she approached the bottom, she saw that her mother had already opened the door and that Sakaki was bowing to her. "Oh, there she is." Her mother calmly said. "Hey Sakaki." Kagura spoke to her friend, coming to a full stop at the bottom of the stairs. "Hey." Sakaki replied.

"Thanks for getting the door, mom." Kagura told her mother. "That's ok." She said and walked away from the two. "Come on, let's go upstairs." Kagura urged her friend. Sakaki followed her up the stairs, though not quite as swiftly as the athletic girl. Kagura showed her friend the way to her room. "Here it is!" She said, pointing to the room. Sakaki looked in and found it quite neat and tidy, with the exception of Kagura's sweat pants on top of the futon. "Are those yours?" Sakaki asked, pointing to the pair of pants. Kagura peered over and immediately went red. "Shoot!" The tomboy exclaimed. She rushed in and grabbed the sweatpants, picking them up from the futon and rolling them into a ball, before tossing them into the corner. "Sorry, I was in my pajamas when you rang the doorbell and so I rushed to get changed." Kagura explained to her friend. Sakaki lifted a finger and pointed at her crop top. "Is that why your shirt's inside out?"

Kagura looked down, this time seeing that her tank top was indeed inside out. She stayed the same shade of red as she threw off her tank top and put her old T-shirt back on. "There, back to normal." She said to herself, then looked back up at Sakaki. "You can put your stuff down wherever." Sakaki walked over to where the futon was (right next to Kagura's bed) and placed her bag down. She hunched over and unzipped the bag, sticking her hand in and rummaging around for a brief moment. Sakaki then lifted her hand out of the bag and placed the constellation Neko Coneko plush on the pillow. Kagura peeked over to see what it was. "Is that a Neko Coneko?" She asked the cat lover. Sakaki nodded. "Cool." Kagura said.
