To all my readers-This is the first time that I'm going to do Yugioh without making any character name changes. I want you all to know that my OC Paige Muto is related to Yugi and her looks are based on him. So, think of Paige as a feminine Yugi and Atem. Before anyone asks, yes, I will be doing all 5 seasons of Yugioh and that includes Capsule monsters as well. I was once asked if Paige would be dueling and yes, she will. You wont be able to see her duel until season 2 when Kaiba starts his Battle City Tournament.
If anyone, and I mean anyone tries to rush me while writing this fanfic or any of my other fanfics, all written chapters will be delayed for a week. No exceptions. Leave a positive review and Happy Reading!
I DONT OWN YUGIOH AT ALL! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND HER DUELING DECK!
Shoutouts:
The sun was setting and Yugi was standing at the chain fence of the school roof top with Paige sitting on the ground, humming a song to her deck. "How did I get into this mess?" Yugi asked himself. "Can't believe that Grandpa's actually gone. One minute, he's right beside us and the next, Pegasus shows up and uses some kind of weird magic to steal his soul away, but why? What could Pegasus want with me and could it have something to do with my millenium puzzle? Well, I'll get Grandpa back, for Paige's sake. I'll beat at his own game. Whatever that is."
"Wonder who this is from?" Joey asked himself as he gets a tape in the mail and plays it. On the tape, it shows a young girl about Paige's age and she's facing the camera. "Hey there big brother, how you've been? I really miss you." she asked.
"Serenity." said Joey.
"I can't believe it's been six years since we've seen each other." She said, laughing a bit. "I'll never forget the day mom took me to live with her."
[Flashback]
Young Serenity was in the car with her mother.
"JOEY!" Serenity called out.
"SERENITY!" Joey called out as he runs after the car. "Don't go! Wait!"
"JOEY!" Serenity cried.
[Flashback ends]
"I'm sending you this video so you don't forget your little sister's face." said Serenity. "It seems like I'm running out of time. I was hoping to see you once more before…well you understand."
Serenity starts to cry a bit as Joey watches the video. "Bye bye, brother." she said.
"Run out of time? It can't be." said Joey, tearing up.
"So long. Take care, Joey." Serenity tells him and the video ends.
"Serenity." Joey said sadly. Yugi and Paige were about to enter the game shop when something was sticking out of the door. "Huh? What's this?" Yugi asked as he takes the envelope out of the door and opens it to see there were five cards inside. "It's from Pegasus."
"What does he want now?" asked Paige as her brother takes out one of the cards.
"It's an invitation to the tournament at Duelist Kingdom." he tells her.
The next day at school, Yugi and Paige told the others. "A tournament at Duelist kingdom? Isn't that an island?" asked Tea.
"So, that's where Pegasus is keeping your grandpa." said Joey.
"Maybe. The only way to know for sure is to become a contestant." said Yugi. "The boats going to be leaving in two days."
"You can't go. It could be dangerous." said Tea.
"I have to go. It's the only clue I have for rescuing Grandpa." said Yugi.
"I still can't believe it. Pegasus used some kind of weird spell to grab your grandpa's soul away and now he's toying with you, forcing you to duel in the tournament." said Tristan.
"Right and without invitations, we can't even go with you." said Joey. "I wish we could help you pal."
"That won't be a problem for me. I'll be going with him." said Paige.
"No, you're not." Yugi tells her.
"Yes I am. He's my grandpa too, Yugi." she argued, crossing her arms and narrow her eyes at her big brother, causing him to say nothing.
"This is bad." said Tea, looking out the window, then Tristan picks up two of the cards.
"Hey Yugi, check this out." He said. "According to this card, the tournament winner takes the grand prize of three million dollars."
"Three mil?" asked Joey.
"So what, Tristan." said Yugi. "Who cares about money at a time like this?"
"Hey, give me that." said Joey, taking the card out of Tristan's hands. "Ah, three million."
"Guess Joey does." said Yugi and Paige nodded in agreement.
"Three million in cold cash." said Joey.
The sun was setting over the city and Joey was sitting on the ground, watching it set as both Muto siblings walk up to him. "Joey? What are you doing up here?" asked Yugi.
"Hmm?"
"What's with you?"
"It's like you're in deep thought about something." said Paige.
"Nothing. I'm just thinking about a whole lot of stuff." said Joey as both brother and sister stood a ways from him. "Yugi, Paige, you do know that I care about your Gramps, right? I mean, he taught me about the heart of the cards."
"Of course we know." said Yugi.
"I mean it. One way or another I'll help you beat Pegasus." said Joey.
"Hmm…that means a lot to us, Joey." said Yugi as he and Paige sat on either side of him. "I'm glad we're friends."
"Remember the first time we met?" asked Joey.
"I'll never forget it." said Yugi. "It was all because of the Millenium Puzzle."
[Flashback]
"The way Grandpa explained it to me and Paige, the puzzle originally found in some Egyptian ruins." said Yugi.
Yugi and Paige were smiling as the opened the container with the Millenium Puzzle in pieces. Tea was sitting a ways, looking over at them.
"My Grandpa gave it to us and kind of dared us to solve it together." said Yugi.
"Grandpa knew that I would never back down from a challenge." said Paige.
"It was the most incredible thing we've ever seen. As soon as we touched it, I knew it was special." Yugi continued. "We both made the same wish on the puzzle. We asked it to give us a real friend and I think the puzzle came through for us. That was when Paige and I met up with you and Tristan. Although you sure didn't act like our friends at first."
Joey and Tristan were playing 'keep away' with Yugi and Paige, holding onto the Millenium Puzzle. Joey had a piece of the puzzle in his hand, holding it high from Yugi while Paige was trying to get the box from Tristan with him pushing her away from him with one hand.
[Flashback ends]
"You mean when we were playing 'keep away' with the Millenium Puzzle?" Joey asked, remember what he and Tristan did. "It was for you, man. We just wanted to toughen you both up so the both of you could stand up to the real bullies."
[Flashback]
Yugi and Paige were on the ground, picking up the pieces of the Millenium puzzle.
"We were only teasing ya." said Joey.
"Teasing?" asked Paige and Yugi.
The eye of the Millenium Puzzle was in Joey's hand.
"You took a piece of the Millenium Puzzle and threw it out the window. Paige cried for days when you did that." said Yugi. "And we were the ones that tried to help you guys out when that bully picked on you."
Joey and Tristan were cowering from the bully. He had gotten pleasure from picking on both of them.
"He was a mean one alright." said Joey.
"What do we do?" asked Tristan and Joey shushes him.
"Well, looked what just showed up. Its little Yugi and little Paige, just in time to watch me mop the floor with these guys." said the bully.
"Get back! Leave them alone!" shouted Yugi as he and Paige run over to them.
"Who's gonna stop me? A couple of little shrimps like you? I don't think so, get lost." said the bully.
"We won't let you. These guys are our friends." said Yugi as both brother and sister stood in front of them with their arms out.
"Don't hurt our friends." said Paige as Joey looks up.
"Okay tough guys. Both of you jumped to the head of the line." he said, laughing at Yugi and Paige. "Say your prayers, you runts."
The bully then starts punching Yugi first before he gets a start on Paige.
"You and Paige stood up for us, Yugi. I'll never forget that. Because of you, we got that moron expelled and Tristan and I learned what it was like to have a true friend." said Joey.
Joey climbs out of the water with the piece of the Millenium Puzzle in his hand.
"Well, at least you retrieved the lost puzzle piece if you hadn't done that, Paige and I could never have solved the Millenium Puzzle." said Yugi.
"I want to apologize Yugi and Paige." said Joey. "I've been acting like a real jerk."
"Oh, were you acting?" Yugi asked sarcastically.
"I didn't notice." said Paige, smiling.
"I guess I deserve that one. If you ask me, I think Tristan and I may have underestimated you two." said Joey, causing both of the siblings to be confused. "You know, Yugi, both you and your sister are tougher kids than I ever gave you credit for. Maybe we should hang out more often. What do ya say?"
"Hmm." said Yugi as he nodded.
"Sure." said Paige.
[Flashback ends]
"The truth of the matter is both of you are the best friends I've ever had." Joey tells them.
"Yeah. Other than Paige, it's too bad you can't go with me to rescue grandpa." said Yugi, looking down at the ground.
"Don't worry. Somehow, someway, I promise…we'll do it together." he said.
"Together." Yugi said with hope in his eyes.
"You bet. We're a team, Yugi."
"But how can you go without an invitation?" asked Yugi and Paige.
"Hmm." said Joey as he had a look on his face that said he had a plan.
That night at the pier, Yugi and Paige were gathered by the ship. Paige was carrying a huge duffle bag on her shoulder. "Boy, there's a lot of duelists." said Paige.
"Oh yeah." said Yugi, pulling her close to him. "Stay close, I don't want to lose you in the line."
"Attention all duelists, welcome to this event sponsored by Industrial illusions." said the guy on the ship. "You received with your invitation the star chips that will grant you entry into the contest. You are all elite, invited by us after close observation of your past duel monsters contests. You each have a fair and equal chance to win it all comes down to how well you've chosen your cards and how well you play. Now then, duelists, cross the ocean and enter the duelist kingdom."
All the duelists lined up and started to board the ship. "Present your star chips as you board the vessel." said another man in suit.
"Thank you. Next." said a suit as duelists showed them their star chips.
"Hey you! Get out of here! Only official contestants are allowed on board!" shouted a suit, causing two of the suits at the back of the line to look over.
"How do you know I'm not official." said a familiar voice, causing Yugi and Paige to look at the front of the line.
"Because the official duelists aren't trying to sneak on board through the lower hatches." said the suit.
"I can't believe my eyes." said Paige.
"Joey? What the…" Yugi said as he and Paige got out of the line as they take Joey away from the boat.
"Stop your struggling. We're gonna have to throw you out." said the suit.
"No way." said Joey. "I came here to duel and I'm gonna duel."
"Leave him alone." said Yugi as both siblings ran up.
"Hey Yugi, Paige." said Joey.
"Joey? What are you doing here, Joey?" asked Yugi.
"Did you really think I'd let you this on your own." said Joey. "Come on, help me out."
"Hey! He's got me." said Paige.
"Oh yeah."
Further down the ship, a man was directing of where the box should go as Tea and Tristan were hiding. "They're distracted. Let's go." whispered Tea.
"Right." said Tristan.
"He's with me and my sister." said Yugi. "You gotta let him on."
"Only people with a star chip can get on board." said the suit. "Even she's not allowed on board. No exceptions, understand?"
"But Joey has a star chip, didn't he tell you?" asked Yugi.
"I do?" Joey asked and Yugi holds out one of his star chips.
"I've doubled checked this. There's nothing in the rules that said a family member can't go with the duelist participating in the contest. Besides, we're a package deal and I can't be left home alone. Wherever he goes, I go with him." said Paige.
"See?" Yugi said, still holding out a star chip, giving it to Joey.
"What's this?" Joey said, confused.
"According to this card, a star chip's proof that one is a duelist." said Yugi.
"That may be but all participants are given two-star chips. You'll be at a disadvantage." the suit tells him.
"Maybe, but I'd rather take that risk than be without my friend and sister when we get to the Duelist Kingdom." Yugi tells the man. "I need them."
"That's right." said Paige.
"Yugi…" Joey said.
"What do we do?" the suit's friend asked as he makes a call.
"Mr. Pegasus, we've got a problem sir." he said into the phone. In a shipping container, Tea and Tristan had stowed away. "Whoa." said Tea as the shipping container was set down.
"Shush." said Tristan.
"Don't you shush me, Tristan." she said.
"Pipe down." he tells her.
Steam blew out as the ship started to set sail from the harbor. "I'm glad they let you on board, Joey." said Yugi.
"Only because you sacrificed one of your star chips for me." Joey said. "But if any of the other players find out we only have one-star chip each, they could really take advantage of us."
"Then be quiet about it." he tells him.
"I'm just glad they didn't questioned about me coming with you, Yugi." said Paige.
"It's a good thing you've read the rules to see about family members." Yugi said, smiling at his sister. All three of them didn't notice a blond teenage girl staring at them with a smirk on her face.
"Hmm…" she said.
"Kind of exciting, isn't it you guys?" asked Joey.
"It is to me." said Paige, smiling at the ocean.
"Yeah." said Yugi.
"Well, what do we have here?" asked the blond teenage girl as she approached them.
"Wow." said Joey.
"So, you're that Yugi kid everybody's talking about, huh?"
"Whoa, check it out." Joey said, fawning over the girl.
"But I'm amazed that a squirt like you could beat Kaiba. You're famous, you know." she tells him.
"Thanks very much, I think." said Yugi.
"I thought I was the squirt in the family." said Paige.
"Hey, miss, I'm a really good friend of the famous Yugi, the master duelist. In fact…" Joey said but was cut off by the girl.
"Look, you're either a champ or a chump. Cut both this guy and this girl loose. He's fashion-challenge and she'll lose her duel in round one. Both of them deserves to be crushed in the games." said the blond and walks away from them.
"Please crush me." said Joey.
"I'm just Yugi's sister. I'm not a contender in the tournament." said Paige.
"I'll crush you all eventually. The name's Mai." she said.
"How arrogant! There's nobody better at playing duel monsters than Yugi and Paige." said Tea.
"Shush." Tristan tells her, pressing a finger to his lips. "Quiet or they'll hear you."
"I don't care. Both of them are still the best." Tea retorted.
"Hey! Is this a joke or what?" asked Joey as Yugi tries to calm him down. "Is this a luxury cruiser or what? I know you got better rooms somewhere."
"You again? We cut you a break and you're causing more trouble?" said the same man in suit from earlier as he and his friend ran in. "Do you wanna get thrown out of here?"
"Yugi, I'm glad that I'm related to you." said Paige, staring at Joey. "I wouldn't want to know and I don't want to know what it's like to be related to him."
"Agreed." said Yugi.
Just then, Rex Raptor and Weevil Underwood walked in. "Huh? Hey, aren't you that kid, Yugi?" asked Weevil.
"Huh? Yeah and you're…" Yugi started to say.
"Weevil and Rex the dino duelist." Joey finished for him.
"Heh, you're wasting your time with those guys." said Rex. "The private rooms only go to finalists from the last championship like us."
"Congratulations on winning the regionals, Weevil." said Yugi.
"It was nothing." said Weevil.
"Yeah, I went easy on him that time." said Rex.
"Yeah, well Yugi and I are gonna take the tournament. Right, Yugi?" said Joey.
"To tell you the truth, winning the last championship didn't feel like that much of an achievement." said Weevil. "I can't really call myself the regional champion until I defeat the duelist who beat Kaiba. But I'm sure battling you in the big tournament, Yugi, frankly I look forward to it."
"I look forward to it too." said Yugi.
"I'm looking forward to some dino demolition." said Rex.
"Let me tell you a little secret. It's something none of the other players know about the games yet." Weevil said to Yugi.
"Oh, isn't that cheating?" asked Yugi.
"The other duelists will find out soon enough." said Weevil. "But there are no rules on the island that require more strategy."
"Rules are for wimps." said Rex. "In dueling, you either smash your opponent or get smashed yourself. It's one or the other."
"Strength is good, but you also need to combine them with other types of cards." said Joey.
"Who asked you?" said Rex. "Stay out of my way or I'll stomp you just like everyone else."
He then looks over at Paige before leaving. "Hey Paige. I didn't know that you were a finalist. How's it going?" he asked, smirking at her.
"I'm fine." she said, forcing a smile on her face. "And I'm not a finalist, dino breath. I'm here to support my brother."
"You know, you never did answer my question from the last time we dueled." said Rex.
"Oh, I did answer your question as I answered it at the two duels before that." said Paige, crossing her arms. "My answer is no and it won't change no matter how many times you ask me."
"You can't blame a guy for trying." Rex said, shrugging his shoulders as he leaves.
"We'll see who stomps who when we get to the island." said Joey, balling up his fist.
"Ignore him. Let's scope out the competition." said Weevil.
"What do you mean?" Joey asked.
"Check out those chumps." said Weevil, looking over their shoulders at the other duelists gathering around each other. "They're already trading over there. Players here are swapping their cards and strengthening their decks, getting ready for the big tournament. It's also a good chance to get a feel for opponent's cards."
"Oh, I bet this is how Weevil gets so much insight into his opponent's strategy." thought Yugi. Joey was over at the group of duelists.
"Whoa, strong cards. Hey, want to trade? How 'bout you?" he asked. "Anybody? Help me out here."
"Guess Joey's trading." said Yugi.
"I worry about that boy." said Paige, shaking her head at him.
"If you've come all this way and you're still trying to improve your deck, you've got to be pretty desperate." said Weevil as he turns to leave. "I'll catch you on the flip side."
Yugi then looks over at his sister. "Before you ask, during the three times that I dueled Rex, he asked me out. I straight up turned him down." said Paige. "I don't date boys like that. If it gets bad, you, Joey and Tristan have permission to do anything to them."
Rex had turned the corner as he heard Mai's voice. "This is truly, truly outrageous." she said as she pushes the suit out of the room. "You expect a lady like me to stay in this dump without even a shower?"
"Rules are rules, ma'am. There's nothing I can do." said the suit.
"Call your superior, get him on the phone right now." Mai demanded.
"Keep acting up and they'll throw you off the boat." said Rex, adding his two cents in.
"Who do you think you are?" asked Mai.
"A champion with a luxury room." he tells her.
"Really? Could I see it?" she asked, covering a smirk behind her hand.
"You bet! Come check it out." Rex boasted. The boat continued to cross the ocean and Tea comes out of her hiding place.
"Hey, Tea. Stay down or we're busted." said Tristan.
"It's freezing out here, I can't sit still." she tells him.
"(Chuckling) in another few hours, the sun will rise." Tristan tells her, pointing in the direction of the sun.
"That's not funny, Tristan." Tea growled and suddenly a door opens.
"Get down." Tristan said, ducking behind the container, thinking that it was one of the suits. Instead, it was one of their classmates that came out. "Look, isn't that Bakura?" asked Tea.
"Bakura? You mean, Bakura from school?" asked Tristan.
"What do you think he's doing here?" Tea asked, then looked back again.
"Uh…I guess he's in the tournament." Tristan replied.
"So what do you think of my cool digs?" Rex asked Mai as she looks at the room he was given.
"It's beautiful. You must be quite a strong card player." said Mai, sucking up to him.
"I am."
"Really! I love duel monsters. How about we play a game." said Mai.
"Who do you think you're talking to? There's no way you could beat me." Rex tells her.
"Please? Let me try." begged Mai.
"You'd never win." said Rex.
"Tell you what, if you win, I'll give you a kiss." Mai proposed to Rex, causing him to smile.
Outside on the ship's deck, Yugi, Paige and Joey were gathered near a table. "Yugi, I got some good card trading in." said Joey, showing them the cards.
"Hey, let me see them." said Yugi as he and Paige looked at the cards. "Salamandra and a Kunai with chain. Baby Dragon and Shield and Sword. Great, with these new magic cards combined with your monsters, you'll have a real strong deck."
"He's right, Joey." said Paige.
"All right, so now I'm ready to win every duel I play." said Joey, confidently.
"I think you're gonna find it's a bit harder than that, Joey." said Yugi, then lifts up the lid of the box and grabs a card. "Here, add this to your deck. It can be helpful in a tight spot."
On the card was a monster that was dressed like a wizard, but looked more like a clock with an attack power of 500. "Thanks, I'll take it." said Joey, taking the card from him. "I can't get over how the both of you are helping me out."
"It's nothing, Joey." said Paige, smiling at him.
"Ah, we meet again." said Weevil as he comes out onto the deck.
"Oh, Weevil." said Yugi.
"Okay then, cut the cards." said Mai, pushing her deck towards Rex.
"Playing with your deck, huh?" asked Rex as he cuts the deck. "Heh heh heh. This'll be a snap."
"Hmm." Mai thought as she stares intensely at the Dino boy.
"What if you win?" Rex asked her.
"If I win, you clear out of the room for the rest of the trip, okay?" she tells him.
"Clear out?" Rex said in shock. "I'm not gonna lose, you got a deal."
Mai had a smirk on her face, then closes her eyes. "The first card is shadow of eyes." she said as Rex flips over the first card.
"How'd you know that?" he asked, seeing that she was right.
"The second card is Harpy's Lady, then Elegant Egotist, followed by Cyber Shield." Mai replied, as Rex flipped over the following cards.
"Oh, no! She's right again." exclaimed Rex.
"This is my own card technique." giggled Mai. "I always know what cards I have and can pick anyone I like at any time. So go ahead and deal them Rex."
"Oh, I think I'm in trouble." said Rex, not realizing what he got himself into.
Out on the deck, Weevil was looking out at the water. "Ah, the evening winds sure feels nice. So did you trade for any good cards, Yugi?" asked Weevil.
"Nah, I'm gonna duel with the cards I brought along with me." Yugi said to Weevil.
"I figured as much." said Weevil, his eyes narrowing the box. "You used the Exodia cards in your duel with Kaiba, right? Those are the strongest cards of them all."
"And really rare." said Yugi.
"I don't like the look on Weevil's face." whispered Paige, leaning back with wide eyes.
"Neither do I." said Joey.
"Could I possibly see those legendary cards?" Weevil asked.
"I don't see why not." said Yugi as he digs them out. "Just be careful with them, okay? Here."
"So, these are the cards to summon Exodia." said Weevil. "For a long time, I've been trying to come up with some kind of strategy to finally beat these cards but I couldn't come up with anything until just this moment."
"I would get those cards back if I were you, Yugi." warned Paige.
"What harm could he do to them?" he asked her when Weevil threw the cards over the railing. "Huh?"
"Say good bye to Exodia!" shouted Weevil as the five cards went into the water.
"No!" shouted Yugi as he watches the cards go into the ocean and Weevil starts laughing.
"Now there's no one who can challenge me." Weevil said, walking away.
"Why you…" said Joey.
"My cards." Yugi said in shock. "Those were the Exodia cards that my Grandpa gave me."
"I'll get them." said Joey as he jumps overboard.
"Joey!" shouted Paige.
"Joey, don't!" shouted Yugi as he makes it into the water. "Joey, where are you?"
"I don't see him." said Paige and suddenly he pops out of the water.
"I promise you; I'll get them Yugi and Paige." said Joey.
"Joey, they're not worth drowning over." said Yugi.
"Don't worry, Yugi." said Joey, then grabs a card that was floating in front of him. "Look, there I got one of them."
"Joey, swim back to the ship!" shouted Yugi.
"Joey, come back before you get sick!" shouted Paige.
"No way. At least this time there's something I can do that someone I care about." said Joey as he goes underwater and comes back up. "Current sure is strong though. It's hard to fight but if I punk out now, who's gonna help my sister, Serenity?"
He then reaches for another card that floated towards him. "Just three more now." said Joey, then was swept underwater.
"Joey!" shouted Yugi as he jumps overboard as well.
"Yugi, no!" shouted Paige as her brother went into the water.
"Joey, hold on." said Yugi as he swims over to him.
"Yugi, just three more." Joey said, weakly as he held two cards of Exodia in his hand.
"Joey!" exclaimed Yugi as his friend went underwater. He then grabs Joey's arm to stop him from sinking any further and brings him back to the surface. "Yugi!" shouted Tea.
"Are you ok?" shouted Tristan, causing Yugi to look up to see his other friends standing by his sister. They threw over a ladder. "Grab a hold!" shouted Tea and Paige.
"Hurry!" said Tristan.
"Tea! Tristan!" shouted Yugi, glad to see them.
Inside the ship, Rex was suddenly kicked out of his room. "Get out, loser!" said Mai. "And thanks for the room, Rex."
"That was close." said Yugi as he and Joey were brought back aboard. "I'm glad you two guys showed up. Really glad."
"Too close." said Paige, hugging her brother.
"We're a team. We all stick together." said Tea.
"We'll always watch your back." said Tristan.
"Thanks a lot, you guys." said Yugi, then looks down at his sister. "I'm sorry that I got you worried, Paige."
"It's alright." said Paige. "Just don't do that again or mom will skin me alive."
"I'm sorry, Yugi." said Joey.
"Huh?"
"I failed. I only found two of your cards." said Joey, holding them up.
"It's okay, Joey." said Yugi.
"It's not okay. It's always this way with me." said Joey, getting a sad look on his face. "I'm never able to help anybody. Not even my own sister, Serenity."
"Serenity?" asked Yugi and Paige.
"Really? You have a sister, Joey?" asked Tea.
"Our parents divorced years ago when we were kids." Joey explained. "She lives far away with my mother. My sister's had really bad eyes since she was born. Eventually, she'll go blind."
"I'm sorry." said Yugi.
"I didn't know." said Paige.
"Thanks, you two." said Joey. "She sent me a message."
[Flashback]
"I was hoping to see you one last time." said Serenity on the tape.
Joey and Serenity were sitting on a swing set at the park, laughing.
"The doctors told her that the time has come. Soon her eyes will be impossible to repair, even with surgery." said Joey.
[Flashback ends]
"But there are specialists who could perform the operation now before it's too late." he tells them. "They could save her eyesight. But there's no way I could pay for the operation. I have to win, for her. Winning in the duelist kingdom and getting the prize money is the only way to help Serenity."
The sun started to rise as the horn started to blow. "We'll both do our best, Joey. You for your sister and me for our grandpa." said Yugi.
"That's right." said Tea. "We'll do this together.
"Look, the island." said Tristan, seeing the island ahead.
"Wow." said Paige.
"That's the Duelist Kingdom." said Yugi. "That's it. We're almost there."
