Ch.38
Turns out the construction company was eager for the work as that very afternoon they sent a representative over with paperwork and to talk about designs. Ron explained his ideas, stressing security and space. Afterwards they agreed on the price and would start work next week.
Ron then proceeded to call the company for the battery parts and after ordering enough for five batteries paid for the parts.
Like this Ron spent his Friday, not forgetting to heal the rest of the wound so that it wouldn't cause any problems. When Yori, Monique and Tara came over after school, Ron had Tara and Monique prosime not to tell anyone and explained how he healed the wound so they wouldn't stress over him moving about anymore. They didn't believe it at first so he lifted his shirt, showing no scar in sight. That led to them doubting him so he cut his finger and showed them the process.
Sunday Ron printed the schematics for the Nuero-Machine interface that he designed and went over them with Felix, Mrs. Renton and Wade since he happened to be showing them how to assemble the battery.
"What do you guys think?" Ron asked.
"This is going to change the world!" Felix comments amazed by the designs.
"Wow, I can't believe it's so compact." Wade admits.
"When do we start?" Asked Mrs. Renton already looking forward to working on it.
"Now!" Ron answered. "We need to see which parts we can get and which we need to build. A lot of the parts are going to be custom but we need to see how they work before we customized them to suit our needs."
Wade, Mrs. Renton, Felix and Ron went back and forth on what parts and where to get them for an hour till Mrs. Renton took charge. They went with her supplier and started ordering any and everything that might be of use. By the time they went to pay, all of them were shocked at how high the prototype would cost and that was just the initial version. It was around three million for all the parts they wanted to work with, not including materials for the custom builds. Satisfied, Ron simply connected his account and paid for the supplies.
They then watched Wade assemble another battery before giving it entry themselves. Turned out they could do it without too much help from Wade.
The rest of Ron's weekend consisted of some tutoring and he was ready for school.
As Ron made it to school on Monday he was in a good. He survived a brush with death, finally told Kim his feelings, even if he was rejected, and spent a great time with three beautiful ladies all weekend so his mood was great overall.
Just as Ron handed in the assignment for first period to Mr. Barkin, said teacher pulled him to the side to talk to him.
"Stoppable what are you doing back already?" Mr. Barking demanded.
"Sir, I felt ready to come to school." Ron explained. "Plus I have this new menu I want to try in Home Ec."
"Alright Stoppable." Mr. Barkin agreed.
By the end of the week Ron noticed teacher's were making orders for the food he was making and by Friday he was making food for the faculty as well as his friends.

Kim had wanted to pull closer the distance that had formed between her and Ron but to her annoyance he always seemed busy lately. Add to that Ron disappearing during the lunch period and he is super busy during Home Ec, what's left is the weekend but Kim prefers to spend it with Josh.
Having no other choice Kim had resorted to calling him, although Ron answered and they talked for a while it wasn't the same. Kim was struggling in her plans to convince Ron that Yori and Sarah where a bad influence on him. She needed to see Ron in person so that she could make him see things her way.
There was also the construction work that started happening at his house since Monday, further pushing Kim to realize how out of the loop she's been. Seeing as there was no other way, Kim made an appointment to meet Ron at Bueno Nacho on Monday afternoon.
On Monday Kim thought everything was the same as always till she found the cafeteria absolutely empty during lunch. Seeing one of the lunch ladies she went over and asked. "Isn't it lunchtime?"
"Yup." She confirms.
"Where is everybody?" Kim asks.
"The Home Ec room." She simply replies then adds. "I have a 12:45 reservation myself. Oh got to run." And removed her hair net before rushing out of the cafeteria herself.
"Reservation!" States Kim before heading over herself.
Finding a completely full hallway by the Home Ec room.
"Excuse me, excuse me!" Kim says trying to make it to the classroom but to no effect.
Kim proceeds to sneak, push and muscle her way to the front, no forgetting her manners of course.
"Excuse me, can I get through here, some of us actually take this class!" Kim states as she pushes the last few students out the was to find Rufus in a tuxedo outfit taking reservations. "Rufus?!"
"Hnk, how many?" Rufus ask not looking away from his notes.
"Huh?" Not getting a chance to process, Kim looks up to find Amelia seated at a table while Ron unveils a seven layer chocolate cake with whip and a cherry on top.
"I call it, Sevevn Layers of Heaven!" Ron says with a bow.
Seeing Mr. Barkin off to the side clapping Kim closes the distance and asks. "Mr. Barkin what's going on here?"
"World class dining, that's what." Mr. Barkin answers.
"Um, but the cafeteria is totally empty right now." Kim says trying to make sense of the situation.
"Good point." Agrees Mr. Barkin. "I guess it would make more sense to put Chef Ronald here in charge of food services for the whole school."
"Chef Ronald!" Kim repeats still in shock. "This is so wrong."
"Now don't worry Possible. You'll get class credit by assisting him. Somebody's got to do the dishes." Adds Mr. Barkin.
"Not likely." Kim disagrees.
"Hahaha. Your right Possible." States Mr. Barkin.
"Thank you." Says Kim.
"Not without your hairnet." Adds Barkin placing it on her head.
By Wednesday the local news team had heard of Ron exploits and was hosting a segment at the school. They had invited local chef and Ron was going over his recipes for the camara.
"Now you add a little cinnamon." Ron says as he sprinkles a bit of cinnamon. "And you all know what that means. Boo-yah!"
As Ron says his catchphrase, the students that were watching join him chanting 'Boo-yah!'
Kim who was watching this from behind the food line had her expression darken when a student walks up requesting some lamb.
"We're out of the lamb, may I recommend the stroganoff?" Kim asks lifting a spoon of stroganoff.
There was a flash and a click as a photo was taken.
"Guess what Kim?" Bonnie asks and answers. "You're going to be my final project for photography. It's a photo essay I call Fashion Never Evers."
Kim ducked behind the counter and called Wade. When he picked up Kim quickly asked. "Please tell me you have more info on Shego's and Junior's stealing spree!"
"I might have something, I'll fax it to you." Wade confirms.
That afternoon found Kim and Ron at their usual booth at Bueno Nacho. Kim was talking to Wade as he sent a fax over. She heard Ron preparing his menu for the next day.
"Let's see for tomorrow I'm feeling chicken-y." Ron says aloud and Rufus imitates a chicken.
When the fax came in Kim could hold back her surprise. "Villain's Digest, bad guys have their on magazine?"
"Complete with want adds." Wade confirms adding. "Including one placed by Senor Senior Senior."
"Tutor wanted, excellent pay, meals included." Kim reads aloud.
"I bet my meals are better." States Ron.
"Hey, focus Ron." Kim cuts in. "Tutor wanted, get it? That explains what Shego is doing with Junior."
"Hey, Shego's tutoring him just like I'm tutoring you in Home Ec." Ron states pretending that it was the first time he put two and two together, not wanting to admit that he was in touch with Shego and she had already told him as much.
From Kim's 'Are you serious?' look he nailed it as she says. "Yeah, great. Now we just have to figure out what she's tutoring him for?"
'Villany.' Ron thought to himself.

Sunday found Ron at Kim's house after his tutoring with Felix and working on their side project together. They were already working on making custom parts and there was just a couple of days before the workshop was completed.
Ron looked to Kim as she spoke. "You know the Senoir's are all about the challenge. They only go for stuff that's really valuable and heavily guarded."
"You know we can just run a web search on the words really valuable and heavily guarded." Ron points out.
"Ron we're talking a tedious criminal mind here. It's not as simple as..." Kim says her frustration obvious when Wade cuts in.
"Got it, great idea Ron." Wade complements.
"I can cook too." Ron jokes.
Two hours later they were in a Texas in front of Granny Crocketz's headquarters.
"So the most heavily guarded thing in the world is a cookie recipe." Kim states unimpressed.
"Kim, this isn't just any recipe. Granny Crocket took the humble chocolate chip cookie and raised it to an art form." Ron corrects.
"Uh huh, uh huh." Rufus agrees from atop of Ron's head.
"Amp down Ron I can gear your stomach growling." Kim says annoyed.
"Not my stomach." Ron clarified.
Looking around, they noticed the guards with guard dogs growling. What seems to be the chief of security walks up and exclaims. "This is private property you'll standing on."
"Yeah, hi, my name's Kim Possible and I have reason to believe your cookie recipe is in danger." Kim says walking up to the cowboy and shaking his hand.
That's when a woman in what looks to be her late forties or fifties walks up and speaks. "You'll can relax darling, we know all about it."
"Hey there, Granny." The chief of security greets.
"Granny Crocket?" Asks a disbelieving Kim.
"No!" A shocked Ron say lifting the bag of chocolate chip cookies. "You look too young to be Granny Crocket."
"Granny had a little work done." States Granny Crocket striking a pose.
They then proceeded to lead Ron and Kim into the office where they showed Senior's anonymous message that two thieves where going to steal the recipe.
'Someone is jealous.' Ron thought seeing the video.
Afterwards they showed them the vault and then escorted them out.
"So you see kids, my recipe is as heavily guarded as can be." Says Granny Crocket.
"Look as much as we appreciate you'll concern, we are just fine on our own little missy." Add the chief of security patting Kim on the head.
When he went back into the building a security gate lowered reinforcing his point.
"He did not just call me little missy." Kim complains as she starts to walk away.
"Free samples Kim, life is good." Ron states trying to lighten the mood.
Kim wasn't listening at all though and pulled out her Kimmunicator. "Wade pull up everything you can on Granny Crocket's security systems.
"Done and done." Wade confirms after a moment of typing. "What's your plan?"
"Little missy is going to get to that cookie recipe before Shego and Junior do." Kim explains.

Shego was letting Junior lead the theft only giving reminders here and there to make sure that he was on point. Looking at him work she admitted her tutoring paid off.
As he came out of the vault with the recipe he read the recipe. "This is one odd recipe, you're so busted. Shouldn't it have some mention of flour or eggs."
"Let me see that." Shego demands and takes the recipe from Junior. This isn't the-"
"The recipe." Kim's voice cuts in.
Turning, Shego saw both Kim and Ron hanging in the vault, Kim holding the recipe.
"Go Rufus." Kim says and Rufus who was standing on Ron's back flips onto the ground holding a gymnast pose before tripping the alarm.
