A Dark Ritual:

Skyla and Anastacia left the house, Anastacia asked Skyla all questions about school.

"Skyla."

Skyla stopped walking as soon as she heard the voice again, she turned toward the house and stopped paying attention to what Anastacia was saying.

"Is there a pool? Thingy?" Asked Anastacia.

"What?" Asked Skyla.

"What are you waiting for?" Asked Anastacia.

"Yeah, I'm coming," said Skyla.

"Was there a pool?" Asked Anastacia.

"No," said Skyla.

Skyla walked up to Anastacia and together they began walking toward school.

In the meantime, the boys had arrived at the building, it looked like an old monastery. Percy and Milo walked inside and looked around.

"Dude, how cool is this place," said Milo.

Percy grabbed his recorder and turned it on.

"Location: The school, based on the foundation, the building is over 90 years old," said Percy.

Milo grabbed his phone and pretended it was a recorder, mostly he did to make fun of Percy.

"There are bunch of pretty girls walking through this school. It probably will take me a year to take them all out," said Milo

Percy and Milo walked toward the lockers, Percy grabbed a long pair of tweezers from his pocket and put it in the lock of his locker and picked it open, he also grabbed his recorder again.

"The locker has some bits of duct tape, dirty fingerprints and it's a bit dusty, previous owner was probably a boy between the ages of 14 and 16, otherwise not special," said Percy.

Milo grabbed Percy's tweezers and tried to get his locker open with it, but he couldn't.

"Safety of the lockers is okay," said Milo.

"You've to turn it on first before you speak," said Percy.

"Yeah right dude, I won't be fooled, I was born to be a detective," said Milo. "What, you don't believe me?"

"No, not really," said Percy.

"Just watch me," said Milo.

Milo saw a girl standing right next to their lockers and walked over to her.

"Milo Fletcher from the Locker Police, I want to ask you a couple of questions," said Milo. "What do you know about that locker over there?"

"Nothing, why?" Asked the girl.

"It won't open," said Milo.

"What are you talking about?" Asked the girl.

The bell rang, Percy looked at his watch and walked toward class, while Milo stayed behind with girl and was questioning her.

"Hey, I've all day," said Milo.

Percy and Raphael were already in class and Skyla and Anastacia walked into the classroom.

"So this is where we sit? All together? No private class?" Asked Anastacia.

"No," said Skyla.

"But then everybody will talk at the same time," said Anastacia.

"No, if you want to ask something you just raise your hand," said Skyla.

"My hand?" Asked Anastacia

Skyla sat down at one of the desks, she looked over to the teacher's desk and the teacher's name was Mr. Gibson, as that was written on his name plate, Anastacia stayed in the doorway and raised her hand, a student passed by and Anastacia handed him her suitcase.

"Yeah you, you look after this, thank you, said Anastacia.

Anastacia handed her suitcase to the student, but he just put it down and walked away. Anastacia walked into the classroom and sat down at the teacher's desk.

"Anastacia," said Skyla.

"Yes," said Anastacia.

"That's where the teacher sits," said Skyla.

"Oh no, but there is a spot free next to you," said Anastacia.

"No I mean there is where the teacher sits," said Skyla.

"Do you mean that I?" asked Anastacia.

Anastacia stood up and sat down next to Skyla.

"How long is one class?" Asked Anastacia.

But before Skyla could answer that, the lights in the room went out, from the back of the room a man dressed in a cloak walked up

At the same time, Milo was still in the hallway questioning the girl.

"Where were you yesterday between 7 and 9?" Asked Milo

"At home," said the girl.

"Where you alone?" Asked Milo.

"Yes," said the girl. "What that any of your business?"

"So you don't have an alibi," said Milo.

"No, said the girl.

The girl pushed Milo aside and walked away,

"Yeah, that right, run away, run away, said Milo. That's how a real detective does it, right Percy? Percy?

Milo looked around, but Percy was nowhere to be found, Milo looked at the clock and realized that class had began and he started to run towards the classroom.

In the meantime, all the students who were in class looked at the man dressed in the cloak and some began to laugh.

"You think this is funny? Well, this isn't funny," said Mr. Gibson.

Back in the days there was a lot respect for the druids. Druids lived a long time ago right here where you guys are sitting right now. They were mysterious men and woman with special powers. But there were also dark druids. Dark druids who misused their powers, using their powers on innocent people.

The man walked forward and looked at Skyla and she shook her head.

"Do you know what they were doing? They sacrificed people in their secret rituals," said Mr. Gibson.

The classroom doors flew open and Milo stormed into the classroom.

"Did you know that…, Dark druids had a special ritual for people that were late to class," said Mr. Gibson.

Meanwhile in the house, the mysterious man was in his secrets room, he was reading a big old book.

"It has begun, all five of them have arrived. Now I can finally calculate when the first ritual will take place. The stars will give me the answer. It won't be much longer," said the mysterious man.

The mysterious man turned around a looked at the spirit of this brother that was in the crystal dome

In the meantime at school. Milo was wearing a cape and a fake beard and stood with one leg on a small stool, under the eye of the rest of the students who were laughing.

"The balance test: A druid with a pure heart can win against gravity by standing on one leg for hours," said Mr. Gibson.

Milo lost his balance and fell, but fortunately Mr. Gibson caught him in time.

"You can sit down now, next time you'll be on time," said Mr. Gibson.

Milo walked over to Percy and sat down next to him

"Okay, where were we?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"The secret rituals," said Percy.

"Exactly, the dark druids," said Mr. Gibson. "Thank you, Percy right?"

"Yeah," said Percy.

"Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about their secrets," said Mr. Gibson.

"Why not?" Asked Milo

"Because those rituals where so secret that they wouldn't even right them down. They were only allowed to be passed on from druid to druid," said Mr. Gibson.

"Well, then you will only tell me," said Milo

"I can tell them to you, but you've to pledge a vow," said Mr. Gibson. "Stand up and repeat after me."

"Is this normal? Are you guys always do this during a class?" Asked Anastacia.

Everyone in the class stood up and held their hands just as Mr. Gibson held them.

"By Drummintong the Holy Oak," said Mr. Gibson.

"By Drummintong the Holy Oak," repeated the students.

"I promise, that whatever is said between these walls," said Mr. Gibson.

"I promise, that whatever is said between these walls," repeated the students.

"Will stay between these walls," said Mr. Gibson.

"Will stay between these walls," repeated the students.

"Dude he is acting very suspicious," whispered Milo.

"Never jump to conclusions until you investigate everything, that's a basic detective rule," whispered Percy.

"And honor this vow, value druid students. If you don't, there will be curse, blisters on your tongue," said Mr. Gibson.

The bell rang and class was over, the students began to pack their tings and left the classroom.

"Don't be sad, the secret rituals are for the next lesson," said Mr. Gibson.

After class, Skyla and Anastacia walked toward their lockers.

"So it like a closet?" Asked Anastacia.

"Yes, so you don't have to carry your stuff all day," said Skyla.

"Where is mine?" Asked Anastacia

"Oh this one is yours," said Skyla, as she opened Anastacia's locker.

"No walk-in closet?" Asked Anastacia.

"No," said Skyla.

"But my eye products for one day won't fit in here, thingy," said Anastacia. "And it's really dark."

"Yeah, but you have to use it, you don't have anything else," said Skyla.

Anastacia tried to get her suitcase into her locker, but of course she couldn't since the suitcase was much too big for the locker.

"Thingy," said Anastacia.

Skyla walked over to Anastacia and grabbed the suitcase.

"Okay, thank you, please be careful with my stuff? I'll go to the restaurant already," said Anastacia.

Anastacia walked away and Skyla was left with Anastacia's suitcase in her hands, she did still try to get the suitcase into Anastacia's locker.

In the meantime, Percy and Milo were in the library eating their lunch.

"Secret rituals? I, as a detective will believe it once I've seen it," said Milo.

"A real detective never rules out anything," said Percy.

"Whatever dude, I just don't believe in that nonsense. Especially coming from a guy who's wearing a dress," said Milo. "Druids are stupid."

"Don't say that," said Percy.

"What? Am I not allowed to talk about the dark druids?" Asked Milo.

"Whatever is said between these walls," said Percy.

"Well we're still in school, so it's still in these wall," said Milo.

Milo stood on the chair, Percy had an idea what Milo was up to and was not happy about it.

"Attention! Attention! Attention my fellow students, did any of you ever heard about the dark druids? Dark druids, going once, going twice?" Asked Milo.

But none of the students were interested and ignored Milo. Milo got off the chair.

"What did I tell you dude," said Milo.

Suddenly Milo started coughing and it looked like he was having trouble breathing, Percy began to gat worried he got up to find out what's wrong with Milo.

At the same time Skyla was walking down the hall, she heard someone singing very beautifully. Skyla opened the door where the singing was coming from and saw Raphael sitting behind the piano. Skyla leaned against the wall and looked at Raphael.

Back in the library. Milo was still coughing, Percy was trying to figure out what was wrong, suddenly Milo began to laugh.

"I've got you," said Milo.

"Milo," said Percy.

Percy found it anything but funny and sat back down. Milo sat down next to him again and kept laughing at his own prank.

"The curse, the curse, man you really believed it, I told you it's nonsense about the whole blisters on your tongue," said Milo.

"He never said when you would get blisters on your tongue Mr. Detective," said Percy.

Hearing this made Milo a little nervous. Anastacia walked into the library and sat down at the table.

"Hey Anastacia, do you come here often?" Asked Milo.

"Where is the menu?" Asked Anastacia.

"Menu?" Asked Percy.

"You can have some of mine," Milo said.

"Waiter? Is the service always this slow here?" Anastacia asked.

Percy and Milo looked at Anastacia with a confusing look, finding it a bit weird that she had no idea how a school works

In the meantime, Skyla was watching Raphael with a dreamy expression, her lunch box falling out of her hands. Raphael stopped playing and looked at Skyla, and from his look Skyla could tell he wasn't really happy that she was watching him play.

Why didn't Raphael didn't seem be to happy that Skyla heard him play? Was she really not allowed to hear it? Does Raphael have some sort of secret?
