In a shocking turn of events, the biggest plot twist of the 42nd Millennium, a dimensional gateway leading into the DND multiverse has appeared in Imperial space. The Imperium has already recovered the majority of its lost technology from the golden age of Mankind… the only question now is whether these worlds will be successfully conquered or not.

9. Neckbeard Wars Power Scaling

Okay, Spuddies here, I noticed that the last chapter upset people expecting Warhammer to get a clean victory over the forces of Dungeons and Dragons. It should come as no surprise that I am an equally devoted fan to both franchises, and I'm simply trying to please everybody, even if it doesn't really work.

For this story, I wanted DND and Warhammer to be comparable in power, and be locked in a stalemate, hence why it's called a Neckbeard War, because people will argue about this topic endlessly, it's also a satire. More specifically, I borrowed from several campaign settings, like Starfinder, Eberron, and Spelljammer, and purposely tried to make DND overpowered so it could match up with Warhammer.

Oh, well. I want to keep writing this fanfic, I put a lot of my passion for both DND and Warhammer into it, so I probably should keep going.
