Skyla, the Normal Teenage Girl:
Skyla was startled by the girl and turned on the light, Anastacia woke up and straight up in her bed covering her eyes. And the girl was gone.
"Who turned the lights on?" Asked Anastacia.
"Sorry," said Skyla.
"Turn them off! Turn them off, turn them off," begged Anastacia.
Skyla turned off the light again and the room was completely dark.
"Rule 3: If the lights are out, they stay out," said Anastacia. "Rule 21: If I'm wearing my sleeping mask, you can only turn on the special light."
"Sorry, I had the wrong light," said Skyla.
"Do you realize that even the smallest mistake could damage my eyes forever?" Asked Anastacia.
"But you're okay now, right?" Asked Skyla.
"Yes, now I'm alright, but it could've gone terribly wrong," said Anastacia.
"Sorry," said Skyla.
"Why did you turn on the lights suddenly?" Asked Anastacia.
"I thought", said Skyla.
"Well?" Asked Anastacia.
"I had a nightmare," lied Skyla.
"Well, next time turn on the special light, okay?" Asked Anastacia.
"Yes, sorry," said Skyla.
"Yeah," said Anastacia.
Anastacia lay back down and went back to sleep, Skyla tried to go to sleep too, but she just barely succeeded because she kept thinking about the girl
In the meantime, Percy and Milo were still at the mysterious door and tried to open it, but couldn't.
"Do you have a plan D in your bag?" Asked Milo.
There were sounds coming from the room, Percy held his ear to the door and tried to listen.
"Dude, the ghost, Dude, who is that?" Asked Milo.
"I don't know," said Percy.
"Is it the ghost? Is it the ghost?" Asked Milo.
"Be quiet, I hear something," said Percy.
Percy tried to listen again and the sound became clearer, they were footsteps and they came closer and closer.
"What do you hear?" Asked Milo
"Footsteps, someone is coming, hurry," said Percy.
Percy and Milo ran and hid in the coat closet. The door opened and Kent who ran out of the room and ran toward the front door.
Dude, I have to use the restroom," said Milo.
Percy tried to look over the coats as Kent walked back, but could only see his backside.
"I really have to go," said Milo.
Kent walked back into his room and Milo stormed out of the closet.
"Got to go! Got to go! Got to go! Got to go!" Said Milo, as he run up the stairs.
Percy came out of the closet and grabbed his recorder.
"Note to self, Makes sure partner has used the bathroom before going on mission, to prevent this. That's all," said Percy.
Percy headed back to his room and was unpacking his things, Milo entered the room and stepped on his action figure, he held his foot and jumped back and forth. Milo lost his balance and fell on top of Raphael.
"Oops," said Milo
"What's wrong?" Asked Raphael, still half asleep.
"Nothing, this a dream, go back to sleep," said Milo
"Is it morning already?" Asked Raphael half sleep.
"No, no, dude, there was a beaver and he jumped on you," said Milo.
"He is already is asleep," said Percy.
"What?" Asked Milo.
"He's already back to sleep," said Percy.
"Dude, it was such a good excuse," said Milo.
Percy and Milo both went into their beds. Percy grabbed his recorder and turned it on.
"Mission failed, the location behind the door is still unknow. We did see a suspicious person, this person probably the one who made the footsteps, the suspicious person is a man," said Percy.
"No, dude, it was a ghost," said Milo.
"We don't have any proof of that," said Percy.
"But it's true, it's a very scary and evil ghost," said Milo.
"There's something strange going on in this house. The mysterious door, the footsteps and the unknow man," said Percy.
"Ghost," said Milo.
"We've to figure who he is, tomorrow morning I'm back to collet fingerprints of the door," said Percy. "Note to self: I'll continue this investigation until I find out what's going on with this house, that's all."
"Expect for that beaver," said Milo
"Goodnight, Milo," said Percy.
Percy turned off his recorder and put it under his pillow, he grabbed his nose clip and put it on and then fell asleep.
The next morning Percy was up early, he was at the door taking fingerprints. Percy heard someone approaching and stopped what he was doing, he saw that was Arlene.
"Hi, good morning Percy," said Arlene.
"Good morning," said Percy.
"Did you sleep well?" Asked Arlene.
"Yeah, fine," said Percy.
"Breakfast will be ready soon, will you eat some?" Asked Arlene.
"Yes, okay," said Percy.
Arlene walked towards the kitchen, as soon as she was gone Percy continued, he grabbed a piece of tape and put it on the door sounds, he took the tape off and there was a fingerprint on it, he grabbed his recorder.
"Mission succeeded, I've got fingerprints and are ready for further investigation, that's all," said Percy.
Percy put away his recorder and walked toward his room.
At the same time, Skyla came out of her room to go to the bathroom, Raphael walked out of his room with sheet music in his hands, neither paid attention to where they were walking and bumped into each other.
"Sorry, let me," said Skyla, as she bent down the pick up the papers that were on the floor.
"Wait let me do it," said Raphael.
Raphael bent down and started collecting his sheet music.
"They have to be in the right order," said Raphael.
"But there aren't any page numbers," said Skyla.
"No, you've to look at the notes, they have to connect," said Raphael.
"I can't do that," said Skyla.
"Let me do it," said Raphael.
"I'll make notice of that," joked an awkward Skyla, but as soon as she said she regret it.
"Okay," said Raphael.
"I didn't want to say that," said Skyla.
Skyla handed Raphael his sheet music and he accidentally grabbed her hand, this made Raphael and Skyla both blush.
"I've to go," said Raphael.
"Yes," said Skyla.
Raphael grabbed his sheet music and walked down. Skyla got up and walked toward the bathroom.
In the meantime in the boys' room, Milo stood with a glass against the wall and tried to see if he could hear Anastacia, suddenly there was tapping on his shoulder, causing him to scream. Milo turned around and saw Percy standing behind him.
"A detective is always alert and makes sure that he can overview the whole room," said Percy.
"Why?" Asked Milo.
"That way he can make sure that no one can sneak up on him," said Percy.
"Oh, you that you scared me? No, dude I was doing my voice exercises," said Milo.
Milo did what he claimed was his voice practice, Percy grabbed the glass from Milo's hands.
"Besides, a detective is only as good as his materials and this doesn't work," said Percy. "Try this."
Percy gave Milo his homemade parabolic sonic scope. Milo put on the headphones and held the scope close to the wall and now he could hear Anastacia perfectly.
"Dude, I can hear Anastacia, she has the voice of an angel," said Milo.
"I got the fingerprints now we've to…," said Percy.
Percy noticed that Milo was not paying attention and took the parabolic sonic scope from him.
"Dude, come on," said Milo
"We have to collect fingerprints of all the residents, once we've got those we can cross them of the list," said Percy.
Percy walked toward his desk put his parabolic sonic scope on it and put the fingerprints he collected in the drawer, he turned and saw Milo had his hand in the air.
"Yes," said Percy.
"Can I get Anastacia? Please, Percy, please, Can I get Anastacia?" Asked Milo.
"Yes, said Percy.
"Yay! Cheered Milo.
"As long as you do it properly," said Percy.
Yes, dude, of course and you can try to get Catgirl," said Milo.
"No, that's not necessary," said Percy.
"Why, you said we need to get all the residents and if they don't match, we can cross them off," said Milo
"We can already cross of Skyla, she always wears gloves, so she wouldn't leave behind fingerprints," said Percy.
Milo grabbed the parabolic sonic scope again and went to eavesdrop on Anastacia again.
In the meantime, Skyla was already on her way to school, feeling scared and tired and thinking about the girl.
"Why do I see that strange girl? I don't want to see her," said Skyla. "Everyone probably thinks I'm crazy, Anastacia, Raphael. I'm sleeping terrible as well."
Skyla grabbed Mouse from her bag and looked at him.
"We've to think of something, Do you know something?" asked Skyla.
Mouse didn't answer, sure Skyla didn't expect an answer from him, but she got an idea.
"I know something, I know. From now on, I'm normal, I won't say weird things, I won't see weird things, I'm simply normal, just like everyone else," said Skyla.
Skyla put Mouse back in her bag and continued walking toward school.
A few moments later the rest of the residents were also at school, Anastacia had just finished putting things in her locker, when Milo walked up to her.
"Sup," said Milo.
"Sup?" asked Anastacia.
"Yeah, this is short for what's up and that is short for what is up, that's an other way of asking how you are doing," said Milo.
"Right," said Anastacia, as she started to walk away.
"Wait Ana," said Milo, pulling out a ink pad out of his pockett. "Put your fingers on this ink pad and see what happens."
"If I put my fingers on that ink pad, they will be coverd with ink," said Anastacia.
"Let's find out," said Milo.
"Right," said Anastacia.
Anastacia grabbed her things and walked away, Milo treid to stop her, but failed. Percy had seen everything and walked over to Milo.
"Dude, what are you doing, I don't have her fingerprints yet," said Milo
"This is no use, it's not about the fingers, it's about the prints, do you understand?" Asked Percy.
"Okay," said Milo
You don't understand, do you?" Asked Percy.
"No, no, not at all," said Milo.
It's okay, we'll get another chance," said Percy.
Percy and Milo started walking to their class, Skyla walked down the hallway and decided to stick to her plan of being normal.
"I'm normal, there's nothing weird about me, I'm a normal teenage girl, said Skyla.
"Skyla! Skyla help me! Please Skyla, you've to help me! Skyla!"
Skyla got scared and fled into the principal's office, she sat down on the floor.
"Come on, Skyla, relax, there is nothing going on. It's a simply your imagination, because you're tired," said Skyla. "A normal human would go back into the corridor."
Skyla got up and was about to leave the office until she heard a strange sound coming from the tank.
In the meantime, everyone was almost the drama room, Raphael stood talking a bit with fellow students and Anastacia joined them.
"Yes, yes, right, I've always have to lead, Everywhere," said Anastacia.
"Anastacia, help me, I'm bleeding, give me a handkerchiefs before it's too late," said Milo.
Everyone turned to see Milo standing with what appeared to be blood on his face. Milo dropped to his knees, Anastacia walked away from him and another girl af Milo a handkerchief.
"I don't want your handkerchief, I need the handkerchief of Anastacia, which she has touched with her fingers," said Milo
Percy simply shook his head, Milo threw the cloth away and stood up, clapping sounded and when everyone looked where it came from they saw a woman standing in the door opening.
"So, welcome to the first Musical class, I'm Priscilla Mills, I'm your drama teacher, And all of you are going to perform a solo," said Ms. Mills.
In the meantime, Skyla was still in the principal's office, she walked towards sound. Skyla was standing near the tank when the office door opened and she closed her eyes.
Who was entering the office? And what are those strange sounds coming from the tank anyway? What is the principal hiding there?
