Ch.68
Ron couldn't sleep that night, he felt the need to talk to Shego after training but calling proved useless. After him and Yori tried calling a couple times it was decided to trust in Shego's abilities to take care of herself.
With no sleep in sight, Ron decided to go to the lab and get some work done. And coincidentally track down where Shego was.
At least that was the plan until Yori took matters into her own hands.
She got up from their bed and looked at Ron. "Come, we are going to the lab."
"Okay." Ron agreed and followed Yori to the lab.
Once there Yori instructed. "Let's at least find out where Shego is."
"You rock, Yori." Ron says and gets to work.
It took an hour to make the necessary preparations and launch the program. What they found was nothing, meaning Shego's phone was either without signal or broken. From there Ron hacked into Drakken's system but information on the latest lair or Shego wasn't recorded.
They stayed up the rest of the night hoping to find anything useful but nothing stood out.

At school an hour later.
Yori looked around at all the banners announcing Prom and asked Ron about the event.
After Ron explained it, Yori was even excited about it. And even more so when Ron went, got the tickets and asked her to be his date.

That afternoon Ron, Tara, Bonnie and Yori sat down to talk.
"Hello, Tara-san, Bonnie-san. Ron-san has explained to me what happened between you and I will admit I was not thrilled." Yori says.
"Yori I know this is unfair to you as you have been dating Ron but I care about him and intend to be his one and only." Bonnie cut straight to the point.
"I apologize Yori but I really care about Ron so I don't intend to back down." Tara says her view.
"I see, seeing as that is what you've decided we'll let Ron decide. Will you accept his decision?" Yori says and asked.
"I will." Bonnie declares.
"Me too." Tara agrees.
"I can only say that I will give you my honest feelings when I sort them out and I hope whatever they are you are happier for them." Ron says.

Ron also started a more assertive approach with Ann. He began calling her cell trying to explain his feelings. At first Ann wasn't picking up the phone so he left passionate voicemails hoping to reach her.
In them he explained a future they could have together and even admitted that he and Yori were dating, that it was with her blessing that he was pursuing a relationship between them and that he intended to marry them even if he had to change nationality. He even apologized and admitted that he was trying to see himself with only one woman, especially after being intimate with both Tara and Bonnie but as much as he wanted to he couldn't care any less for any of them, yet easily loves them more.
When Ann picked up on his next call Ron was stunned for a few minutes before finding his voice.
"Thank you for answering Ann." Ron whispers.
"Ron you need to stop making these calls." Ann says.
"Ann you know James doesn't deserve you. For a long time he has done nothing but lie and hurt you." Ron reasoned.
"I know, I filed for a divorce and submitted some of the videos as evidence." Ann explains though not sure why she did.
"Great!" Ron says ready to ask about them but is cut off.
"Yes great but my children will need time to adapt. I also don't think Kim will take it well if we start dating. Add to that our age difference and it complicates matters to no end." Ann countered.
"Ann, Kim will understand that I'm trying to make you happy. I also have faith that although our friendship ended she won't stand in the way of your happiness with me. And I would do my best to make you happy. I started that with a promise to always be honest with you." Ron persuades.
"And then there's the other women in your life Ron." Ann says.
"And have I ever hid them from you Ann?" Ron asks.
"No you've told me over these calls." Ann admits.
"Ann I've told you before them, though you might not believe it." Ron says.
"Before." Ann repeats but can only think of the dream.
"Yes Ann, we shared dreams for a long time, I can even recount most of them for you if you'd like." Ron says and before Ann could doubt his words begins doing just that starting from the latest to older dreams till a breathless Ann asks him to stop.
"How is that possible?" Ann asks.
"I don't know how to explain it but it goes like this..." Ron proceeds to explain how he can harness natural energy or Ki to separate his conciousness from his body and subconsciously does it at night. "I'm training to control it but have yet to manage it. My point is that we've been together for a long time. Before anyone else entered my dreams you were already there, same is true for my heart."
"Ron I don't think this is a good idea. We'll both end up hurt and might even hurt Kim." Ann reasons.
"I'll talk to her. I'm sure she'll understand." Ron says. "But please give us a chance."
"I...I'm not sure Ron." With that Ann hung up.

Weeks Later, Monique's house.
Monique had her patience run dry and was tired of dropping hints for Ron. You would think all the kissing would be enough for him to make a move but he seemed content with the status quo.
Monique was not fine with it, there was too much competition for that.
After tutoring and realizing that Ron was caught up with the class, Monique made her move. She got up and before Ron could do the same, sat on his lap. Ron's hands wondered where to go before he put them to the side.
Now Monique had his undivided attention.
"Ron I have a question, do you dislike me?" Monique asked.
"What would make you think that?" Ron asked, adding. "Of course I like you."
Monique's heart sped up. "Then why don't you make a move on me? Am I unattractive?"
"I'm sure you already realized that's not it." Ron says blushing.
And Monique did. Ron had an erection that was poking her pussy and she was rapidly responding.
"Then why?" Monique asks.
"I'm already dating Yori. Maybe Tara and Bonnie too. I'm also in love with others. From your point of view it's not fair to any of you to be in that situation. So I hold back hoping you find another worthy of your affection." Ron admits.
'I'm already aware of this!' Monique admits to herself. "Ron this isn't fair to me!"
"But it's for the best." Ron says.
"Ron don't you think I deserve a chance to see how far WE can go?" Monique asked emphasizing the we. "To pursue the happiness you bring to me?"
"Of course you do, but it's unfair to you and the others." Ron repeated.
Monique hadn't realized that she started grinding on Ron as their conversation continued but their bodies were being completely honest. Her breathing fast, Monique kissed Ron.
"Ron I need you to try for me!" Monique begged.
Now as fate would have it, Ron has been too tense with worry about Shego to be intimate with Yori or any of the girls. Not that Tara and Bonnie didn't try. His dreams have been nightmares reflecting that worry and now, after weeks, his body was placed in a situation where it was ready to burst. To top it off, it was true. He liked, really liked, dare say loved Monique but he knew it wasn't fair to them even if his motto was never be normal.
What Ron did next was in the hopes of stopping Monique's unconscious actions. He raised his arms and brought Monique into a tight hug hopping she stop moving so he could think straight.
"Nnn!" Monique moans feeling Ron's erection push into her. Then she begins to nibble on his right ear. Monique's hips were still moving and she was now vaguely aware of how wet she was.
"Mon, we need to stop." Ron said but his arms simply tightened around Monique. "Mon, I really can't, especially not now that Shego is missing."
Surprisingly that was what gave both their minds clarity. Monique was surprised but although Shego was wanted in eleven countries they got along surprisingly well once they started talking.
Stopping all movement Monique asked. "How long?"
"Three and a half weeks." Ron clarified. "I've tried everything and nothing. It's like she's vanished."
"Have you talked to Wade? You know he's the best at this type of thing." Monique asked giving her opinion.
"...no Wade and I haven't started talking yet." Ron admits.
"Boy are you an idiot!!" Monique yells causing Ron to shrink on himself. "I get that you're still mad and I'm not going to tell you to forgive and forget but someone who is at least a friend to you has been missing for three weeks and you have yet to talk to Wade!!"
Ron couldn't look at Monique in shame.
Monique got up and stretched her hand to Ron. "Let's go."
"Where?" Ron asked dumbly.
"Wade's." Monique says and drags Ron out the house.

Wade sat in front of his computer putting the finishing touches on the Neuro Linker.
Thanks to the fallout with Ron and Kim he's had a lot of time on his hands so he poured everything into the Neuro Linker. The device is patented and safe. Has enough security measures and firewalls to put existing systems to shame and the game is just about ready with beta testing beginning as soon as next month.
As for missions and request for help going to the site he passed them along to the right agencies but villains seemed to be quiet, like they are waiting for something.
Wade turned and looked at the little diablo that came with his kids meal from Bueno Nacho that his mom brought him and sighed. 'Kids meals at Bueno Nacho, Ron must be freaking out.'
"Wade, dear, you have some guest." His mom calls out to him.
Wade quickly switches to his cameras and confirms who it is. He sees Monique in a one piece orange dress with a black belt and heels and Ron in his regular clothes.
Smiling with excitement and trepidation Wade calls back. "Let them up, mom."
"I meant for you to come down here, Wade." His mom calls out before letting them up.
When they entered his room Wade greets them. "Hi Monique, Ron. To what do I owe the visit."
"Hi Wade." Monique looks at Ron after greeting Wade but Ron looks at the floor. She sighs and is about to speak when Ron holds her hand.
"Hi Wade...I...I need a favor from you. It's to find someone who is missing." Ron admits.
His smile dimming Wade asks. "Sure Ron, tell me who is it?"
"About that...it's Shego." Ron finally whispers.
"Shego! As in THE Shego?" Wade asks to confirm.
"One and only." Ron says.
"Why, when and how did that happen?" Wade asks.
"It's a long story Wade." Ron says as Wade is already typing away with Monique sitting on Wade's bed.
Wade says nothing and continues to work.
"Fine." Ron says and starts explaining.
How after he was helped back to himself when he got turned evil he wanted to apologize to Shego for some of the things he did. So he went and tracked her down by hacking into Drakken's systems and did just that. How he got injured helping her and how she ended staying at his place during the repairs to her place. How they grew closer to be more than friends but recently she hadn't responded to calls or text and for three and a half weeks Ron has been looking for her everywhere and had no luck.
"Wow." Wade says to Ron's revelations.
"Yeah." Ron admits.
Seeing a lull in Wade's typing Monique asks. "Wade got anything?"
"Not yet." Wade admits. "I'm reading some of the code on this firewall before I start to crack it."
"A firewall to what?" Monique asks.
"GJ files to see if they captured Shego and Drakken." Wade says. Thirty minutes later Wade finished checking every government in the states and found nothing. "I'm going global."
"Okay." Ron says awkwardly.
"So Ron, how did you take it now that Bueno Nacho is doing kids meals?" Wade asks hoping that Ron would talk to him.
"You should have seen it by now Wade, his freak out was on the news." Monique says with a laugh. "What was the line? Oh yeah, I'm loosing everything I ever cared about!"
"It wasn't that bad, was it?" Ron asked as Wade pulled up the video.
"Ouch." Both guys say confirming it was that bad.
"Ron...are we going to be okay?" Wade finally asks.
The room falls silent at his question and Ron seems to struggle for a moment before he speaks. "I...think we are."
"Good." Wade says with some tears. "Have you talked with Kim?"
"Not since that day but Monique tells me she broke up with Josh and is going out with the new guy, what was his name..." Ron says admitting that he checked on Kim's wellbeing.
"Eric, they've been inseparable." Monique says.
"Yeah, Eric." Ron repeats.
"The guy gives me the creeps, he is too perfect." Monique mutters quietly.
As they are waiting Wade offers. "Want something to eat, I can order in and this might take a while."
"Sure." Ron and Monique agreed.
"Mom I'm buying pizza, no need to cook today." Wade calls out.
"Boy you're too late. Dinner is ready in fifteen, now wash your hands and come set the table." Gwen called back.
"Sorry guys, looks like the plan has changed." Wade says as he gets up with Ron and Monique following behind him. "Coming mom."

After dinner Wade led them back to his room and confirmed the results, no Shego or Drakken on file.
"Let's try Hench co. Maybe Jack Hench sold them something?" Ron was reaching for anything at this point.
"Sure." Wade easily agreed.
Cracking Hench co. security systems proved easy to Wade and in minutes they got another dead end.
"Have you checked her home?" Wade asked.
"Twice." Was Ron's instant reply.
"Then I'll write a face recognition program and spread it around." Wade said then added. "I thought you'd be getting ready for the prom tomorrow to be honest."
Monique like Bonnie and Tara lamented the mention of prom since Ron had yet to ask, hinting. "I made all the preparations necessary already, just need a date."
"Sorry Monique but I'm taking Yori, she had asked me about it when it was announced and I promised to take her." Ron explained confirming what Monique guessed. "Though now I'm not so sure if to go with Shego still missing."
"Ron you have to go." Monique said. "Prom is a once in a lifetime thing for a young woman and you don't want Yori regretting she missed hers."
"I see." Ron said feeling even worse since he knew that Monique, Tara and Bonnie were hoping he'd take them.
"Guys why don't you head home and I'll call when anything comes up." Wade suggested knowing it was going to take a while.
"Thanks Wade, I owe you one." Ron says.
"No problem Ron." Wade says and guides them out
