Animals, Planets and Trees:

Arlene was in Skyla's room waiting for Skyla to tell her what she wanted. Skyla was hesitating whether or not she was going to do it.

"Skyla," said Arlene.

Skyla heard the girl's voice through her head and that she could not trust Arlene.

"You wanted to talk to me," said Arlene.

"I don't remember, I mean it's no longer necessary," said Skyla.

"Are you alright? Are you happy with your drawing utensils?" Asked Arlene.

"Yes, very happy," said Skyla.

"I thought it would make you feel more at home with it," said Arlene. "Well if something is wrong, you know where to find me."

"Yeah," said Arlene.

Skyla sat down at her desk, Arlene left the room, thinking it was just a little strange what just happened.

In the meantime, Percy and Milo were in the living room eating breakfast and talking about the symbol.

"Oh man, Skyla, the headmaster, they are all witches, dude," said Milo. "How did we miss that?"

"It's not proven yet that they've something to do with each other," said Percy.

"Dude, the symbol, the headmaster and Skyla had it, how much more proof do you need?" Asked Milo.

"Much more proof to form a conclusion, a detective can't simply connect things," said Percy.

"Okay, you want proof, I will give your proof," said Milo.

"I know that Skyla draw that symbol, but that doesn't mean she is working with the headmaster," said Percy.

Milo got up and walked toward the hallway. A few seconds later he came back and put a shoe down on the table.

"Okay, if this doesn't convince you, I don't know what will," said Milo.

"Shoes?" Asked Percy.

"Skyla's shoes, and guess what? Who wears shoes as well, the headmaster, dude! The evidence is on the table," said Milo.

"I also wear shoes, Milo. And so do you, everyone wears shoes," said Percy.

"It's fine dude, it's fine," said Milo. "But don't come running to me when it goes wrong, a good detective knows when something is off."

"I thought you didn't want to be a detective anymore," said Percy.

"Dude! The symbol, the symbol and by the way, the headmaster has toads and Skyla has a cat. Skyla is a witch, the headmaster is somehow involved," said Milo.

"We've to research the symbol first," said Percy.

"I've to warn Anastacia! Anastacia and Skyla sleep in the same room! What if Skyla turns Anastacia into a toad!" Said Milo.

"We will do further investigation on Skyla and the headmaster this afternoon, said Percy. Until then you don't conclude anything, okay?"

Percy quickly ate his breakfast, got up and left the living room. Milo stayed behind and kept thinking about the scenario about Anastacia being turned into a toad.

"I may still be in love with Anastacia even when she is a toad, but it won't make the relationship easier," said Milo.

In the meantime, Skyla was in the bathroom, standing in front of the mirror and talking to Mouse. It bothered her about not telling Arlene about everything, whether she had really done the right thing.

"Yes, I know I should've told Arlene, but it didn't feel right, but listing to a girl no one sees, isn't smart either," said Skyla. "Why can't I be normal just like everyone else?"

Skyla grabbed Mouse and wanted to leave the bathroom, at that same moment Raphael entered the bathroom.

"Hi," said Skyla.

"Hey," said Raphael.

Neither of the two said anything more, Skyla quickly left the bathroom, Raphael watched her leave.

A few moments later Percy and Milo were already at school and sitting in the library, Percy was perusing books that were about signs, seeing if he could find out more about the sign. Milo was walking back and forth with the mood necklace in his hands.

"Maybe they used this to bewitch someone. I'm almost certain of it they use this to turn people into toads," said Milo. "How do they do it?"

Milo sat down at the table and started playing with the necklace.

"Maybe they leave it somewhere so people find it. And if the play wit it, they turn into toads," said Percy sarcastically.

Milo got scared and threw the necklace down on the table. Percy picked up the necklace and looked at it with his magnifying glass and the stone of the necklace turned yellow.

"The color changes are interesting, though," said Percy.

"Interesting? Interesting? Dude, it's the bewitching! The bewitching is working!" Yelled Milo.

"It's most likely due the change of temperature, it has nothing to do with our case," said Percy.

"The necklace was Skyla's, Skyla turns people into toads and they stay with the headmaster. Sometimes they eat one. I don't want to become a toad, Percy," said Milo. "Percy? Percy, how do I look?"

Milo started making all crazy faces, Percy ignored Milo and continued reading in the book.

In the meantime, Skyla and Anastacia walked down hall toward their lockers, Anastacia had a piece of paper in her hands and waved it near Skyla's face.

"Look," said Anastacia.

"I can't read it if you keep moving," said Skyla.

"The is the audition form for the musical of which I'm going to play the lead, remember?' Asked Anastacia.

"I remember," said Skyla.

"Raphael and I are going to audition together," said Anastacia.

"Raphael?" Asked Skyla.

"Yes, yes, he hasn't officially asked me yet, but it will happen. He just shy, everyone turns shy when they are around me," said Anastacia.

"I thought he didn't want to participate," said Skyla.

'Yes, but he will with me, and every piano player, needs a good singer," said Anastacia.

Anastacia stopped talking as she saw Raphael arrive at his locker. Anastacia began to play with her hair nervously.

"Don't act too obvious, be chill, come on," said Anastacia.

Skyla turned and looked at Raphael; he looked at her and smiled at her. Raphael closed his locker and passed Skyla and Anastacia.

"Did you see that? They way he looked at me. He wanted to ask me for the musical, I know it for sure," said Anastacia. "But then he saw you and walked by."

The bell rang and Anastacia was very startled by this.

"Can't they think of a nicer sound?! I'm always scared to death," said Anastacia. "Well which class do we have?"

"History," said Skyla.

"Right, the man in the dress, that's just great," said Anastacia, sarcastically.

Anastacia grabbed her suitcase and walked toward the history classroom. Skyla couldn't help but smile a little.

Moments later, the Anubis residents and their fellow students sat in the history room.

"What do the druids have to do with trees, animals and planets?" Asked Mr. Gibson. Who knows the Chinese zodiac?"

Milo raised his hand.

"Milo?" Said Mr. Gibson.

"My Chinese zodiac is a Babi Pang Gang with sambal," joked Milo.

"Right," said Percy, sarcastically.

"In which you were you born?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"1999, the year of the Babi Pang Gang, right?" Asked Milo in a joking way.

"No, in the Chinese zodiac, you're a rabbit," said Mr. Gibson.

"Do you have some carrots for me, with some sambal please," joked Milo.

"Do you understand what I mean? The druids had a system as well, they used different animals, "planets and trees," said Mr. Gibson.

Skyla didn't pay attention to what Mr. Gibson was saying; she stared ahead and began to draw, without looking at the paper. Mr. Gibson grabbed a small old looking book and opened it.

"Anastacia?" Said Mr. Gibson.

"Yes," said Anastacia.

"In what year were you born?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"I was born March 16th 1999," said Anastacia.

"Your planet is Mercury, your tree is a Rowan and your animal is a cat," said Mr. Gibson.

"A cat?" Asked Anastacia.

"Yes," said Mr. Gibson.

"It must be a mistake, I'm more of a graceful flamingo, or a nightingale because of my beautiful singing voice," said Anastacia.

"Well, I didn't make it up, so I can't change it," said Mr. Gibson.

In the meantime in the house. Kent was in his secret room above his study. He opened the big book and went to the page that was about the cat, Mercury and the Rowan.

"As soon as Mercury appears, we can begin," said Kent.

Back at school, Skyla was still drawing. Percy raised his hand.

"Yes, Percy, said Mr. Gibson.

"You said earlier that all druids' books were forbidden?" Asked Percy.

"Yes," said Mr. Gibson.

"Then how do you know all this?" Asked Percy.

"The rituals were forbidden to be written down, but we know a lot about the common things," said Mr. Gibson.

Skyla stopped drawing and saw that she had drawn the mark, she heard Milo's voice in her head and that he said she was a witch.

"I'm not a witch," said Skyla.

Skyla threw her notebook on the ground, Milo stood up and picked up the notebook from the ground and showed it to Percy.

"How much more proof do you need, dude?" Asked Milo. "Witch girl is going to turn us all into toads! Toads!"

"Milo sit down," said Mr. Gibson.

Mr. Gibson grabbed the notebook from Milo and walked forward again, he put the notebook on his desk and looked at Skyla.

"Skyla, can I talk to you after class?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

The bell rang and Milo fled the classroom and ran through the hallways in a panic mode.

"Save us! We've to do something! Before it's too late! Witch girl will attack! And we will all become toads! Toads!" Shouted Milo.

Milo ran through the school and kept talking about the toads, he bumped into Mr. Danbury and let out a little scream.

"Toads, Mr. Fletcher? It reminds of me of your punishment, come with me," said Mr. Danbury.

Milo walked with Mr. Danbury toward his office. Milo stopped walking as soon as he saw Percy and started hugging him.

"Percy, Percy, you were a good friend and a good detective, remember what I taught you," said Milo.

"Watch for peculiarities in his office," said Percy.

"Peculiarities?" Asked Milo.

Milo let go of Percy, Mr. Danbury came walking back and grabbed Milo by his ear and started to drag him to his office.

"I said, come with me," said Mr. Danbury.

"I'm coming," said Milo. "Percy."

Percy walked toward the history classroom, he saw that the door was open and Skyla and Mr. Gibson were inside. Percy quickly entered the room and hid behind the closet and listened to the conversation.

"Can you tell me where you got this symbol? Where you saw it?" asked Mr. Gibson.

"It has to go the other way around," said Skyla.

"What do you mean?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"Nothing, never mind," said Skyla.

"Where did you see this?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

Skyla said nothing, without asking for her notebook back, she walked out of the room. Percy stayed in the room to do more investigation.

A few minutes later, Anastacia was at her locker and she wasn't very happy. Skyla also arrived and walked toward her locker.

"A cat? A cat," said Anastacia.

Anastacia turned to Skyla, but she wasn't really listening to what Anastacia was saying.

"Do you see it? I mean, you can say a lot about my beautiful face and glowing hair, but a cat? A cat, that is ridiculous," said Anastacia.

Anastacia closed her locker and walked away. Skyla couldn't really pay attention to what Anastacia was saying, she was still wrapping her head around what had happened during history class so she drew the mark again.

In the meantime Percy was still hiding in the history classroom, he heard Mr. Gibson's footsteps coming his way and kept very quiet. Mr. Gibson closed the door and walked toward his desk, placed Skyla's notebook on his desk and picked up his briefcase. Percy carefully poked his head out from behind the cabinet and saw that Mr. Gibson was taking a large book out of his bag and there was something on the cover. Percy grabbed his binoculars and looked at the book and the book had the same mark as the headmaster's necklace.

Is the history teacher involved in all this too? Are he and the headmaster working together? What is the meaning of that sign anyway? And Kent is still preparing for the first incorporation, and it seems that Anastacia will be the first? Is this she really going to the first one?
