Perfect Blackmail:

Skyla stood in the hallway; Mr. Danbury was there, too. Skyla had no idea what to say.

"I… there was a rope here," said Skyla.

"A rope, Ms. Tolliver? I didn't see a rope," said Mr. Danbury.

Skyla looked behind her and there was no more rope, then she saw that Mr. Danbury had a necklace with the mark.

"No," said Skyla. "I've to go now."

"Not so fast," said Mr. Danbury.

Skyla wanted to walk away, but Mr. Danbury grabbed her hand, Skyla felt her hand get cold and ice all appeared on her hand. Skyla turned to Mr. Danbury and put her frozen hand behind her back, hoping Mr. Danbury wouldn't see it.

"At this hour you shouldn't be here," said Mr. Danbury.

"No," said Skyla.

"Understood? Next time you won't be warned," said Mr. Danbury.

Skyla turned and quickly walked up and looked at her hand. Mr. Danbury walked toward Kent's study and went inside, where Kent and Arlene were already waiting for him.

"Excuse me, I was held back in the corridor, some," said Mr. Danbury.

"Firstly, the reason why I invited you, I heard that Percy is looking for a book about Druids. How is that possible?" Asked Kent.

"Well," said Mr. Danbury.

"He didn't think of it himself," said Kent.

"The subject isn't taught at school, it's forbidden even," said Mr. Danbury.

"And the new history teacher?" Asked Kent.

"I don't think," said Mr. Danbury.

"Thinking is not enough, we have to know for sure," said Kent.

"I will find out," said Mr. Danbury.

"The incorporation of the first one is full progress, we can't have this," said Arlene.

"Hubert," said Kent.

"Yes," said Mr. Danbury.

"What was going on in the corridor?" Asked Kent.

"Skyla was walking around, I've told her to go upstairs," said Mr. Danbury.

Mr. Danbury left Kent's study room. Kent watched Arlene walk toward the door.

"Go check on Skyla," said Kent.

"Right away," said Arlene.

Arlene left the office to go check on Skyla. Kent walked toward the bookcase, pulled and book and a secret. elevator appeared, he got on the elevator in went toward his secret room.

At the same time Skyla was in her room, she kept staring at her hand, she sat down on her bed and grabbed Mouse.

"Mouse! Mouse, it has happened again, you know what I mean. What if it happens when I'm with the others, no one can see this, it can't happen," said Skyla.

Skyla heard someone coming, she took off her glasses, lay down and pulled the blanket over her. The door opened and Arlene entered the room, she walked over to Skyla's bed to make sure she was asleep, Skyla kept her eyes closed as best she could. Arlene walked out of the room and Skyla opened her eyes again.

At the same time, Percy and Milo were back in their room. Milo was pulling Skyla's glove from its trap. When Milo had removed the glove from the loop he walked toward Percy with it.

"Dude, this is the ultimate proof," said Milo.

"Why did you take it? I just told you not that long ago that detectives aren't thieves," said Percy.

"You just can't stand the fact that I've more proof than you," said Milo.

"More? We have the same amount of proof. Nothing," said Percy.

"Nothing? Nothing? Dude, you saw it, didn't you? Skyla weighs less than 60 kilo's," said Milo.

"Your trap didn't work, it didn't weigh her," said Percy.

"She wears gloves," said Milo.

"Witches and gloves don't have anything to do with each other, there is no connection," said Percy.

"She has a cat," said Milo.

"It's a stuffed toy, a lot of girls have those," said Percy.

"What about the secret meet up with the headmaster?" Asked Milo.

"Secret meet up? She was scared to death," said Percy.

"The symbol, the symbol that she made during history class, it's a witch symbol, that's what the teacher said. That is your proof, Skyla is a witch and I'm sure of it," said Milo.

Milo walked over to his bed, he put Skyla's glove under his pillow and climbed into his bed. Percy lay down in his bed, he grabbed his recorder and tapped it against his chin, he didn't know what to say, all he thought was that Milo was on the wrong track that, but he also had a feeling that Skyla knew something.

In the meantime in the girls' room. Skyla's hand was still covered in ice and she kept looking at it. Skyla thought of the headmaster's necklace and that it was the same mark from her dream.

"The mark, he was wearing the mark, the exact same mark I saw in my dream. And in the shop of Madam Gretha," said Skyla.

Skyla grabbed the stone she had gotten from Madam Gretha from under her pillow and looked at it.

"Do you think it works?" Asked Skyla.

Skyla heard Anastacia talking in her sleep and she dreamed about how she and Raphael got the lead roles for the musical. Skyla put the stone back under her pillow and went to try to sleep.

The next morning, all three boys were awake early. Milo was in the bathroom. Percy and Raphael were still in their room, Percy was sitting at his desk studying the character and Raphael was changing his clothes.

"Raphael, you're wearing different socks," said Percy.

Raphael looked at his feet saw that indeed he had two different socks on, he walked over to his closet and grabbed a matching sock, he sat down and began to change his socks.

"I believe I'm not fully paying attention," said Raphael.

"Are you nervous?" Asked Percy.

"Why would I be nervous?" Asked Raphael. "Did you hear anything from Skyla?"

"Skyla?" Asked Percy.

"Nothing, never mind, thanks for the warning about the socks," said Raphael.

Raphael put on his shoes and got up and left the room. At that moment Milo entered the room, he walked over to his bed and grabbed Skyla's glove from under his pillow.

"Witchy and the headmaster were discussing which students they want to turn into toads," said Milo. "You were right about this by the way."

"That you need to give it back," said Percy.

"No, that it's important to her, this is the perfect piece of blackmail," said Milo.

Milo put the glove in his pocket, he grabbed a towel and tied it around is neck like it was a cape.

"Here I come to save the day!" Said Milo.

"Just wait…," said Percy.

But before Percy could finish his sentence, Milo ran out of the room. Percy sighed deeply and he grabbed his recorder and turned it on.

"Note to self: Spend less time talking to Milo, end note to self," said Percy.

Percy turned off his recorder and put it away, he looked at the drawing he had made of the symbol

"Something is different," said Percy.

Percy remembered Skyla saying the mark should be the other way around and suddenly he had it. Percy turned his notebook over and picked up his recorder again.

"Of course, the symbol the way the headmaster was wearing it, is the same but upside down, exactly like she said, it isn't a witch symbol, In the book of Mr. Gibson has it must say what it really is," said Percy.

In the meantime, Raphael sat at the table while Arlene was busy making pancakes. Anastacia walked into the living room.

"Hey, Raphael," said Anastacia.

"Hi," said Raphael.

Anastacia walked toward the table to sit down, and at the same time Milo came running into the living room.

"They won't be able to get to you Anastacia, because I will protect you, Super Milo!" Said Milo.

Milo ran up to Anastacia and hugged her, much to Anastacia's dismay.

"Staff, help," said Anastacia.

'Milo, stop it," said Arlene.

"But I'm not doing anything," said Milo.

"You will be very happy about the delicious pancakes," said Arlene.

"Pancakes!" Cheered Milo.

"Look, guys, here you go," said Arlene, as she put the pancakes on the table.

Milo released Anastacia as soon as he saw the pancakes, Anastacia sat down next to Raphael. Milo went over to the cupboard and grabbed a pot of sambal, he sat down at the table, he put lots of pancakes on his plate, put sambal on top and started eating.

"Anastacia?" Asked Raphael.

"Yes, yes," said Anastacia, as she grabbed Raphael's hand.

"Do you know where Skyla is?" Asked Raphael.

"Who?" Asked Anastacia. "Oh, Thingy, yes, she wasn't feeling well, I don't think she is coming down."

"Did I hear that Skyla wasn't feeling well?" Asked Arlene.

Anastacia nodded her head and Arlene decided to take a look. Percy arrived at the living room and turned on his recorder.

"Operation book is about to begin, I will have to be careful, stealing is against the rules, but for this investigation I've to make a temporary exception, that's all," said Percy.

Percy turned off his recorder and put it in his pocket. Without the other occupants noticing, Percy snuck into the living room and searched through the drawers of the coffee table and in one of the drawers he found a phone book, he took the book out and quickly left the living room.

In the meantime, Skyla was still in her bed and was staring ahead. Arlene walked into the room and sat down right next to Skyla's bed.

"Hey, I heard you were sick last night, Is that why you got up last night?" Asked Arlene.

Skyla heard the girl's voice in her head and about how she told her that Arlene could not be trusted.

"You can always tell me everything, you know that right? Do you want to stay at home?" Asked Arlene.

"No, no, I will be there in a minute," said Skyla.

"Good," said Arlene.

Arlene left the room again. Skyla pulled her hand out from under the blanket; the ice cream was gone, but she was still worried it would happen again.

A few moments later, Milo was already at school, he snuck through the hallways toward the headmaster's office. Milo carefully opened the door, when he saw that no one was there, he walked into the office.

"None of my loved one will ever become a toad, not as long I'm around," said Milo.

Milo walked up to the desk and searched the letter box and found a picture of a toad in it, but this time with a different name under it, Joseph was in the picture.

"This is another student, one that has been turned into a toad! This is proof! Percy! Proof!" Cheered Milo. "Oh Percy, I wish you could see me right now."

Milo walked toward the terrarium that contained the toads.

"Okay, I know you're all bewitched students, but I'm here to save you, me, not Percy. Percy doesn't get it, he doesn't know I'm the best detective ever, I'm as undetectable as a shadow," said Milo.

Milo began to dance, he turned around a suddenly Mr. Danbury was behind him and he did not look happy.

In the meantime Percy walked past the history classroom, the door was up, Percy looked inside and saw that no one was there and that the history teacher's briefcase was on his desk. Percy walked into the classroom and tried to open the briefcase, but it was locked. Percy grabbed his tweezers and tried to pick the lock. When Percy had gotten the lock open, he took the book out, he took the phone book out of the pocket and put it in the history teacher's suitcase. Percy tried to put the book in the pocket and then Mr. Gibson entered the classroom.

"Percy," said Mr. Gibson.

Had Mr. Gibson seen that Percy had the book? What was Percy supposed to do now? And Milo is in trouble with the headmaster again, what will be his punishment this time? And how did ice get on Skyla's hand, is that why she always wears gloves?
