The Book of the Dark Druids:

Percy was still in the history classroom and had to think of something quick now that he had been caught by Mr. Gibson.

"Percy, what are you doing here?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"I was looking for you," said Percy.

"You were looking for me?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"Because I wanted to ask you something, in private," said Percy.

Mr. Gibson turned to the door and closed it, Percy used this moment to close Mr. Gibson's briefcase.

"Go ahead," said Mr. Gibson.

"Druids?" Asked Percy.

"Yes," said Mr. Gibson.

"What did they eat?" Asked Percy, as that was the first excuse he could come up with.

"I didn't know that you were that interested," said Mr. Gibson.

"I'm quite curious," said Percy.

"It's fine, take a seat, Inquisitiveness is nothing to be ashamed about," said Mr. Gibson.

Percy sat down, Mr. Gibson walked toward his desk and began to talk about the eating habits of the druids.

In the meantime, Mr. Danbury, had caught Milo in his office.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Mr. Danbury.

"What I'm doing here? Good question, a very good question, I was cleaning your office," lied Milo.

"I believe you were here for a different reason," said Mr. Danbury.

"No, no, of course, not," said Milo.

Milo grabbed a duster and began cleaning Mr. Danbury's things. Mr. Danbury walked over to his terrarium and took out one of his toads and walked over to Milo with it.

"Is this why you were in here, Mr. Fletcher?" Asked Mr. Danbury.

Milo turned around and saw that Mr. Danbury was holding the toad close to his face and he got scared.

"I believe I have to go to class," said Milo.

"Don't you want to stay here with my sweet, little animals?" Asked Mr. Danbury.

"No, no, I've to go," said Milo.

Mr. Danbury brought the toad closer and closer to Milo face and Milo fled the office. Mr. Danbury walked toward the terrarium and put the toad back in.

In the meantime, the other residents were still at home; Anastacia was down the hall waiting for Skyla.

"Thingy, are you coming, or not?" Asked Anastacia.

"I'm coming," said Skyla.

Raphael walked up and grabbed his coat. Skyla walked up and saw Anastacia and Raphael standing there, the two looked at her and Skyla quickly walked away again.

"Thingy, what are you doing?" Asked Anastacia.

Raphael grabbed his bag and left the house, while Anastacia waved at him. Skyla came walking down.

"He is so shy, luckily he asked me to do the musical together, or he would have had to wait in line," said Anastacia. "I can't wait to see everyone's reactions when they hear me sing."

Anastacia grabbed her suitcase and left the house. Skyla looked at her hand, she pulled her sleeve over it, grabbed her coat and then left the house.

Half an hour later, Percy came out of the history classroom, he grabbed his recorder from his pocket and turned it on.

"Note to self: Think of a better excuse when a teacher catches you, so you don't have to listen to several reason why most druids where vegetarians for 30 minutes long, end note to self," said Percy.

Percy turned off his recorder and put it back in his pocket. Percy turned around and saw Milo approaching. Milo walked up to Percy and showed him the picture of the toad.

"Percy, dude, this is proof, it's a student, And he has been turned into a toad, look Joseph," said Milo.

"How do you know for certain it was a student?" Asked Percy.

"You just can't stand the fact I've made more progress in my investigation then you," said Milo.

"Listen, I've a book about druids," said Percy.

"Druids? Percy, we have to save the toads! Imagine if you were a toad," said Milo.

"What is the deal with that ranidaphobia of yours?" Asked Percy.

"What is ranidaphobia?" Asked Milo.

"That is the name of the fear of frogs and toads," said Percy.

"Fear of Toads? I'm not afraid of toad, I don't have ranidaphobia. Why do you say that?" Asked Milo.

"You're scared to death when it comes to toads," said Percy.

"Scared? I'm not scared, I'm not afraid of anything or anyone, I'm a hardcore detective," said Milo

"Hey, a toad," said Percy.

Milo started screaming and jumped into Percy's arms, causing Percy to drop the bag with the book. At the same time Skyla ran up, Percy let go of Milo and he fell to the floor. Skyla covered her arm and quickly ran into the classroom. Milo stood up and Percy picked up the book from the floor.

"Dude, did you see her hand?" Asked Milo.

"You have to give that glove back," said Percy.

As the students entered the history classroom for class, Mr. Gibson looked in his briefcase and saw that the druid book was gone and a phone book was inside. Percy entered the classroom and saw Mr. Gibson looking at him, Percy quickly sat down in his seat and Mr. Gibson began his class.

"Like I said is everything we talk about concerning the druids in this class a secret. The few books that exist are very dangerous," said Mr. Gibson. "They contain dangerous chapters with dark rituals, only by turning the pages of these books can lead to grave injuries. You don't want to mess with the dark druids."

Percy noticed that Mr. Gibson looked at him very often, Percy suspected that the history teacher knew he would have the book. Mr. Gibson stood up, grabbed a crayon and walked toward Skyla with it.

"Skyla, you get to honor to write down the taught years on the board," said Mr. Gibson.

"I don't know them," said Skyla.

"Come on, you know a few of them, we will help you," said Mr. Gibson. "Is there a problem?"

"Yes, there is a problem! She can't touch anything without gloves or it will turn in a toad!" Said Milo.

Skyla got up and fled the classroom.

"You see! Witchy!" Said Milo.

In the meantime in the house, Arlene entered Kent's study and saw that he was busy writting stuff down.

"You wanted to talk to me?" Asked Arlene.

"I want you to collect these ingredients," said Kent, as he handed Arlene a list.

"I will make sure we've everything," said Arlene. "I have…"

But Kent interrupted Arlene and she understood the message, she looked at the list and then left the study.

Back at school, class was over and the students were out of the classroom, only Milo was still in the room along with Mr. Gibson.

"Sorry, I don't understand why I was kicked out. I just saved your life, dude, serious," said Milo.

"First of all I don't want to be called dude, and second, you're here because bullied Skyla," said Mr. Gibson.

"Witchy," said Milo.

"You don't seem like a bad guy, I don't understand why you bully her," said Mr. Gibson.

"Because of the toa, Was there ever a student at this school, named Joseph? It's really important," said Milo.

Milo grabbed his bag and quickly left the classroom, Mr. Danbury walked through to the desk and Mr. Gibson closed the door.

"Is everything going well during class?" asked Mr. Danbury.

"Yes, excellent," said Mr. Gibson.

"Well, that is good to hear," said Mr. Gibson. "May I ask what the subject is?"

"Yes, of course," said Mr. Gibson.

Mr. Gibson walked over to the closet and took out the history textbook and handed it to Mr. Danbury.

"We're at chapter six," said Mr. Gibson.

"Good," said Mr. Danbury.

"Was that all?" Asked Mr. Gibson.

"For now," said Mr. Danbury.

Mr. Danbury gave the book back to Mr. Gibson and then left the classroom. When Mr. Danbury was out of the classroom, Mr. Gibson looked at the burn marks that were on his fingers.

In the meantime Percy was at his locker and saw Skyla standing against her locker and she was crying, Percy said nothing and walked away. Raphael walked up and also saw that Skyla was crying, he wanted to go and comfort her, but at that moment Anastacia walked up.

"Thingy, what are you doing?" Asked Anastacia.

As she got closer Anastacia saw that Skyla was crying.

"Oh, you're crying, Oh, everyone can see you, you can stop now, okay? Come here, it's alright," said Anastacia.

Anastacia put her arm around Skyla and tried to comfort her. Milo arrived and walked toward Percy.

"Just wait, Percy, wait until the students are saved, I will be a hero," said Milo.

"Come, we're going to check out the history teacher's book, you will see that Skyla isn't a witch," said Percy.

"No, Percy, no, you don't understand, no one does. It's time I use more drastic measures," said Milo.

But before Percy could finish his sentence, Milo walked away again. Percy looked at Skyla for a few more moments and then walked toward the library.

Anastacia removed her suitcase and in doing so almost touched Skyla's hand, but she quickly pulled it back into her sleeve.

"What is going on with your hand?" Asked Anastacia.

"Nothing, I'm going home okay?" Said Skyla.

"Okay," said Anastacia.

Skyla wiped away her tears and quickly walked away. Anastacia watched Skyla walk away and felt quite sorry for her, also at that moment Lexie walked over to Anastacia.

"Hi, I couldn't find you, I was lost and I had," said Lexie.

"Yeah," said Anastacia.

Anastacia ignored everything Lexie said and quickly walked away.

In the meantime Percy sat behind one of the bookcases in the library, he grabbed the druid book from his bag and looked in it and saw the sign in the book, he grabbed his recorder from his bag and turned it on.

"I just found the symbol in the druid book of the history teacher, as expected it isn't a witch symbol, but a druid mark, it means passage or portal," said Percy.

Percy looked further into the book and then saw another symbol with all the text written in pencil next to it.

"I found a new symbol, it's called a Celtic stone circle, there are notes next to it, I've to do more research," said Percy.

Percy stopped talking as soon as he heard someone approaching, he carefully looked over and saw Mr. Gibson talking to one of his students.

"Izzy, you've to hand in your essay today," said Mr. Gibson.

"Yes," said Izzy.

Percy saw that Mr. Gibson had finished talking and was coming his way, he put the book back in the pocket and carefully snuck out of the library before Mr. Gibson could see him.

In the meantime, Skyla walked through the woods and was on her way home, Milo ran up to her and blocked her way.

"Ha, it's over Witch Girl! I know exactly what you're doing together with the headmaster," said Milo.

"I don't know what you're talking about," said Skyla.

"You don't know what I'm talking about?" Asked Milo, as he went in his bag and pulled out the photo of the toad. "What do you call this?"

"Joseph," said Skyla, as she took the photo.

"You see, you know his name, this is proof!" Said Milo.

"Milo, it says so," said Skyla.

"You've to stop the bewitching, Witch Girl, and the others too," said Milo.

"I'm not a Witch Girl," said Skyla.

"Not a Witch Girl? Guess who has your glove," said Milo.

Milo walked away again. Skyla wasn't happy, no matter how hard she tried she couldn't convince Milo that she really wasn't a witch and she especially didn't like hearing that Milo had her glove

A few moments later, Percy was already home, he was sitting in his room and had the teacher's druid book on his desk, he grabbed his recorder and looked through the book and came to a special section.

"I've discovered a special part of the book, it's called dark rituals," said Percy.

Percy thought back to what Mr. Gibson said during class about the book.

"Could this be one of the chapters the teacher was talking about? I will have to investigate further," said Percy.

Percy put his recorder away, he looked at the special section of the book and it looked strange, he tried to turn the page, but he couldn't. Percy grabbed the special section and tried to open it, the book suddenly started smoking and became very hot, so hot in fact that Percy's burned his fingers. Percy let go of the book and blew on his fingers.

What did the special section on dark rituals say? How could it be that Percy's fingers were burned? Did Mr. Gibson also get the burn marks on his fingers this way? And will Skyla ever manage to get her glove back?
