A Dangerous Book:

Skyla and Percy looked nervously at Arlene after she walked into the bathroom out of the blue. Arlene looked over to where the book was and Percy quickly put his arm over the book.

"Well we…," said Skyla.

"We were making homework, it was noisy in our rooms," said Percy, as that was the first excuse he could come up with. "Is that okay?"

"It's fine, as long as you go to bed on time," said Arlene.

"We're almost done," said Percy.

"Okay," said Arlene.

Arlene left the bathroom, Percy got up and walked toward the door and locked it.

"Strange, I thought I locked the door, said Percy.

"How did you get this book? Asked Skyla.

"From Mr. Gibson, said Percy.

"A gift?" Asked Skyla.

Percy did not answer, Skyla looked at Percy and saw from his facial expression that he had something to hide.

"You stole it?" asked Skyla.

"I had to research the mark, said Percy.

"But he said that these types of books are forbidden," said Skyla. "How did he get his hands on one?"

"Still unknown," said Percy.

"Don't we have to figure that out?" Asked Skyla.

Percy nodded his head and grabbed his recorder from his pocket and turned it on.

"Note to self: Mr. Gibson has priority, end note to self," said Percy.

As Percy turned off his recorder and put it back in his pocket, Skyla looked at the special section in the book.

"Be careful, you might burn your fingers," said Percy.

Than you've to promise to stop trying, okay?" Asked Skyla, as she reached out her hand.

"Okay, I promise," said Percy, as he shook Skyla's hand.

In the meantime, Milo and Raphael sat in the chairs in their room and where having a talk.

"Witch Girl and the headmaster have turned Joseph, Kevin and other students into toads. Percy and I wanted to help them, but she control over Percy too now," said Milo.

"Wait. Who has Percy under control?" Asked Raphael.

"Witch Girl," said Milo.

"Yes, but who is that? Anastacia?" Asked Raphael.

"No, no, Skyla, she is Witch Girl," said Milo.

"Skyla?" Asked Raphael.

"Yes, Skyla. So the toads," said Milo.

"Your story about the toads is utter nonsense," said Raphael. "But are Percy and Skyla together that often?"

"Yes, all out of a sudden, they can't spend one minute without each other," said Milo.

The door opened and Percy walked into the room.

"Speaking of Witch Boy," said Milo.

Percy ignored Milo's comment and sat down at his desk. Milo got up and walked toward Percy.

"Are you going to ignore me? I can't know your scary secrets. Secret toad secrets, Tell me, who is the next toad? Huh? Huh? Tell me!" Said Milo.

"You, if you don't leave me alone," said Percy.

Milo walked over to Raphael, who hadn't actually heard anything his roommates were saying and could only think about the fact that Percy and Skyla were interacting more.

"Hey, hey, if I were you I would sleep with one eye open tonight, unless you wan to wake up croaking," said Milo.

Meanwhile in the girls' room. Anastacia and Lexie were sitting on Anastacia's bed. Anastacia was putting drops in her eyes while Lexie watched.

"Do you have to do that every day?" Asked Lexie.

"Yes, three times per day," said Anastacia.

"What if you don't do it?" asked Lexie.

"That is impossible," said Anastacia.

"But what if it happens?" Asked Lexie.

"I do it every day, three times," said Anastacia.

"But, what if?" Asked Lexie.

Anastacia ingnored Lexie's question and continued putting eye drops in her eyes. Skyla walked into the room, grabbed Mouse from behind the pillow and sat down at her desk.

"Oh, do you take your stuffed toy everywhere?" Asked Lexie.

"Yes," said Skyla.

"So sweet, sometimes I wish I had a stuffed toy too," said Lexie, as she got up and walked over to Skyla. "Can I hold it for a moment?"

"Rather not," said Skyla.

"Just for a moment," said Lexie.

"No," said Skyla.

Skyla grabbed Mouse and hold on to him tight. There was a knock on the door, the door opened and Arlene walked into the room.

"I wanted to wish you girls good..," said Arlene, and then she noticed that Lexie was in the room. "Well, Lexie what are you still doing here?"

"She is staying over," said Anastacia.

"I rather don't have you here," said Arlene.

"But I have too, my parents are on vacation and I dropped my key in the sewers," said Lexie.

"Did they leave you all alone?" Asked Arlene.

"Yeah," said Lexie.

"One night, is okay, right?" Asked Anastacia.

"All right, one night, but that's it," said Arlene.

"Thank you," said Lexie, as she hugged Arlene.

"Goodnight," said Arlene.

"Goodnight," said the girls in unison.

Arlene walked out of the room. Skyla lay down in her bed.

"I thought your parents always lock the door, and that's why you couldn't go home," said Anastacia.

"That's right, but they are also on a vacation," said Lexie.

"You didn't say that earlier," said Anastacia.

"No, I didn't know yet then, they called me when I was on the toilet," said Lexie.

"How did they call you? Without a phone?" Asked Anastacia.

Lexie began to gape loudly to avoid Anastacia's question.

"I'm so tired, I'll tell you tomorrow, goodnight, Skyla," said Lexie.

"Goodnight," said Skyla.

"Goodnight, Anastacia," said Lexie.

"Night," said Anastacia.

"Night," said Lexie.

Lexie walked toward the bunk bed and climbed into bed. Anastacia went over to her bed and got into bed.

An hour later in the boys' room, Milo and Percy were already asleep, Percy had put the book under his pillow, Raphael could not sleep and this was not because of Milo's snoring. he looked at Percy and thought about what Milo had told him about him and Skyla.

At the same time in the girls' room, everyone was also asleep. Skyla had a strange dream, Mr. Gibson came into her room and sat down by her bed.

"My book, give me book back, you're in danger, give it back."

Skyla woke up from her dream, Lexie had also woken up and poked her head and looked at Skyla.

"You had a nightmare, so exciting. What was it about?" Asked Lexie.

"Oh, nothing special," said Skyla.

"Oh, okay," said Lexie.

Lexie lay back down and quickly fell back asleep. Skyla had a hard time falling asleep and kept thinking about what the history teacher said to her.

In the meantime, Arlene was in Kent's study and had told him that Lexie was staying over.

"Anastacia wanted it, I couldn't tell her to go," said Arlene.

"You did well, the kids have to be happy, for now," said Kent. "Anything else?"

"I don't know for sure, but I might have seen something, Percy and Skyla have a book that looks like on of yours," said Arlene.

"That is impossible, no one can reach my books," said Kent.

"I might have been mistaken," said Arlene.

"It has something to do with that history teacher," said Kent.

"Shall I call Hubert?" Asked Arlene.

"No, I will take care of this myself," said Kent.

Kent walked toward the bookcase, pulled on a book and the secret elevator appeared. Kent got on the elevator and headed toward his secret room. Arlene left the study.

The next day, all the residents were already at school. Anastacia walked toward her locker, Raphael approached and walked toward her.

"Anastacia," said Raphael.

"Yes," said Anastacia.

"I… I wanted to ask you something," said Raphael.

"What is wrong? Is it about the musical?" Asked Anastacia.

"Yes," said Raphael.

"Yes?" Asked Anastacia.

"Did she say anything?" Asked Raphael.

"Who?" Asked Anastacia.

"Skyla, about the note," said Raphael.

"Oh, yes, she doesn't want to participate," said Anastacia.

"Did she say that?" Asked Raphael.

"Yes, she isn't the type for musicals, some girls who are more well suited for musicals," said Anastacia.

"Yeah, thanks," said Raphael.

Raphael walked away. Lexie walked up with a large bag in her hands.

"Oh, are you going on a vacation?" Asked Anastacia.

"Huh?" Asked Lexie.

"What is in your bag?" Asked Anastacia.

"Oh, mostly air, I closed the bag too quickly, so it's filled with air," said Lexie.

Anastacia looked at Lexie with a look that she did not believe her.

"Okay, the clothes you gave me are in it," said Lexie.

"It that so?" Asked Anastacia.

"Yes," said Lexie.

"All the clothes I gave you are in it?" asked Anastacia.

"That's what I said right," said Lexie.

"But how come that you're wearing the jacket?" Asked Anastacia.

"Yes, well look at that, you're right. Yes, well, I've to go, bye!" Said Lexie.

Lexie walked away quickly, Anastacia looked at Lexie and had a feeling that Lexie had something to hide.

In the meantime, Skyla and Percy were in the library and Skyla had told Percy about her dream.

"And you're sure he wanted the book back? In your dream?" Asked Percy."

"Yes, that book is dangerous and you've stolen it, you don't know what he want to do with it," said Skyla.

"I can't research it further, not without help," said Percy.

Milo walked up and joined Skyla and Percy.

"So this looks cozy! Are we having a witch meeting? Tell me, what is it about?" Asked Milo.

"History homework," said Percy.

"Yes," said Skyla.

"You know witches' noses grow when they lie," said Milo.

"That is Pinocchio," said Skyla.

"You think you're smart, don't you?" Asked Milo. "But I know exactly how you took control of Percy."

Milo put his hands in front of his eyes.

"Don't make eye contact with a witch," said Milo.

Still with his hands in front of his eyes, Milo walked away and bumped into a student.

"Oh, sorry," said Milo. "Hey do you come here often?"

Milo walked away while he kept bumping into things and other students.

"You think I should give the book back?" Asked Percy.

"I can do it," said Skyla.

Skyla and Percy heard Mr. Gibson's voice, he walked into the library with a student and walked her to the bookcase.

"Maybe that is a good idea, I can follow him then," said Percy.

Percy handed Skyla the bag with the book and something she could use to open the lock on Mr. Gibson's briefcase.

"With this you can open the lock of his briefcase, good luck," said Percy.

"Yeah, you too," said Skyla.

Percy grabbed his satchel and decided to follow Mr. Gibson. Milo was still in the library trying to eavesdrop on Percy and Skyla.

In the meantime Lexie was still walking around the school with the big bag in her hands, she walked past a coat rack and grabbed a scarf off of it and walked away with it. Anastacia who found Lexie's behavior only strange was chasing her and finally came out of a room. In that room were clothes that could be Lexie's and there was also a bed on which Lexie put her bag.

"What is this?" Asked Anastacia.

With a startled look, Lexie turned to Anastacia.

A few moments later, Skyla was on her way to the history classroom to return the book.

"Suggesting you will return a stolen book, brilliant Skyla, just brilliant," said Skyla to herself sarcastically.

Skyla carefully opened the door of the history classroom and cautiously looked inside to see if no one was there, when she saw no one she walked into the classroom and over to Mr. Gibson's desk. Skyla grabbed the tweezers that see had gotten from Percy from her pocket, to open the lock of the briefcase, but pretty soon she noticed that she didn't need them because the briefcase was already open. Skyla took the book out of the pocket and put it back in the briefcase and Skyla found something else in the briefcase. From the briefcase Skyla took out a necklace, a necklace that Mr. Danbury also has, a necklace with the druid sign. Suddenly there was the sound of someone clearing their throat, Skyla turned and saw Mr. Danbury standing in the doorway.

What was Skyla to do now? And why does Mr. Gibson have a necklace with the druid mark? Is he one of them? What will Percy find out? And what does Lexie have to hide? What is her secret?
