Who is Lexie?
Skyla was in the history classroom and had been caught by Mr. Danbury.
"What do you think you're doing?" Asked Mr. Danbury.
"I.. I was looking for the teacher," said Skyla.
Skyla turned and put the necklace back in the briefcase and tried to close it, Mr. Danbury closed the door and walked toward the desk.
"In his bag?" Asked Mr. Danbury.
"Yes," said Skyla.
"Don't make up stories, Miss Tolliver, this could get you suspended," said Mr. Danbury.
"Suspended?" Asked Skyla.
"Unless," said Mr. Danbury.
"Unless what?" Asked Skyla.
"We can talk. History class… what do you talk about?" Asked Mr. Danbury.
"That is a secret," said Skyla.
"What is so secretive about those lessons?" asked Mr. Danbury.
"I mean, Napoleon's favorite color, those kind of secrets, I… I've to go," said Skyla.
Skyla walked quickly out of the classroom before Mr. Danbury could say anything.
In the meantime, Percy had followed Mr. Gibson to the library, while being followed by Milo. Milo tripped and bumped into Percy.
"What are you doing here? Go away," said Percy.
"Percy," said Milo.
"No," said Percy.
"Am I interrupting you?" Asked Mr. Gibson as he walked up to Percy and Milo.
"Busted! Busted!" Yelled Milo.
Milo ran out of the library laughing, Percy put his hand in his coat pocket, Mr. Gibson turned to Percy.
"Busted? It's a good thing we've run into one another, You've something that is mine," said Mr. Gibson. "I'm not mad, Percy, I just want it back."
"Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about," said Percy.
"No?" asked Mr. Gibson.
"No," said Percy.
"What about this?" Asked Mr. Gibson.
Mr. Gibson pulled Percy's hand out of his pocket and looked at the burn marks on his fingers. Milo returned and spied Percy and Mr. Gibson from the doorway.
"What about this?" Asked Mr. Gibson.
"How did you get those burns?" asked Mr. Gibson.
"I burned myself during cooking," said Percy.
"Burned? During cooking? Like I burned myself during cooking," said Mr. Gibson.
Mr. Gibson showed Percy his burn marks and Milo found it strange and then looked at his own fingers. Percy withdrew his hand and put it back in his pocket.
"Percy, you're playing with fire, next time you won't get away with simply burned fingers, You've to give it back to me," said Mr. Gibson.
Percy nodded his head and walked out of the library.
In the meantime, Anastacia had discovered a room because she had followed Lexie.
"Oh, hi, what are you doing here?" Asked Lexie.
"I followed you," said Anastacia.
"Oh yeah, this bed here with a reason, I've a rare sleeping condition and I randomly fall asleep," said Lexie.
"I haven't noticed it before," said Anastacia.
"No, but it doesn't happen daily, it sometimes happens and…," said Lexie.
Lexie stopped talking and fell down on the bed and began to snore loudly. Anastacia looked around and had no idea what was going on. Lexie opened her eyes and sat up straight as soon as she heard footsteps coming her way.
"Someone is coming, please don't say anything to anyone," said Lexie, as she got up.
"Why not?" Asked Anastacia.
"Please?" Begged Lexie.
"Fine, but I don't know how long I will be able to do it," said Anastacia.
Anastacia walked out of the room and Lexie let out a sigh of relief.
In the meantime, Skyla walked down the hallway as she looked around, hoping she won't run into the headmaster. Skyla walked to her locker and then saw Mr. Danbury and Mr. Gibson standing right next to it and they were talking to each other. Mr. Danbury looked in Skyla's direction for a moment and she became nervous and when Mr. Gibson looked in her direction she became even more nervous. Mr. Danbury and Mr. Gibson walked away, Skyla wanted to walk away too, but she wasn't paying attention and bumped into Raphael.
"Sorry," said Skyla.
"It happens quite often to us," said Raphael.
"Yes, sorry," said Skyla.
"Where are you going to?" Asked Raphael.
"Musical class," said Skyla.
"Of course, dumb of me," said Raphael.
"Yeah, yeah," said Skyla.
Skyla was so nervous that she walked in the wrong direction, when she realized this she walked towards the drama room and entered and sat down next to Percy. Raphael also entered the classroom and sat in the back row.
"Okay, let's begin, Sorry that I'm a little late, but I was stunned to see how many of you signed up for the musical, amazing," said Ms. Mills, as she entered the drama room. "Only, do you know a Paolo? He signed up, but he isn't a student of mine. Well, strange, we will figure it out."
Raphael looked around and was glad he hadn't been fount out, that no one knew he was Paolo. Ms. Mills put the registration forms in her bag and looked enthusiastically at her class.
"We're going to do something fun today, some may hate it, but most of you will enjoy it, we're going to sing, each one of you a solo," said Ms. Mills.
"Fun, right?" Asked Lexie.
"Milo, you can start," said Ms. Mills.
With a big smile on his face, Milo got up and walked the stage, he was just about to start singing, but he stopped and walked over to the piano and did some crazy voice exercises that made the rest of the class laugh. Milo started singing about how Anastacia was the most beautiful girl in the world and that it would only be a matter of days, but Anastacia was not imprissed by his song. and then he sang that Percy looks like a good one. When Milo finished singing, the class and Ms. Mills clapped for him.
"For you, Anastacia, thank you, thank you!" Said Milo.
Milo got off the stage and sat back down. Mrs. Mills looked around her and saw who was next to sing and set her eyes on Skyla.
"Skyla, the stage is yours," said Ms. Mills.
A nervous Skyla got up and went on stage, all eyes were now on Skyla and this made her even more nervous.
"Skyla, you can do nothing wrong in this class," said Ms. Mills.
Skyla gently nodded her head, she took a deep breath and began to sing Part of your World, from the Little Mermaid and everyone listened with attention, especially Raphael, who watched Skyla's performance with a big smile on his face.
In the meantime, Mr. Gibson was in his classroom, sitting at his desk. Mr. Gibson opened his briefcase and took out two folders, one of the folders had Percy's name written on it. Mr. Gibson opened Percy's folder and there were all pictures of Percy in it and notes, about Percy having a coat with many pockets, being curious and very observant during classes, Mr. Gibson took out his pen and wrote about the burn marks on Percy's hand. Mr. Gibson closed Percy's folder and grabbed the one underneath and there was Skyla's name written on it and he sighed deeply.
A few moments into the drama room, an otherwise student had finished singing and walked the stage as people clapped for him. Lexie enthusiastically waved her hand in the air.
"Can Anastacia and I go next? We've been waiting for quite some time," said Lexie.
"Sure, first Lexie, than Anastacia," said Ms. Mills.
"Yes," said Lexie.
"Yes," said Anastacia.
Lexie stood up and walked toward the stage, Milo sat down next to Anastacia.
"You don't have to be nervous, even if it's bad, I think you're beautiful," said Milo.
"I'm not bad, I've the most beautiful voice of the group," said Anastacia.
Lexie started to sing and it was very beautiful and everyone listened in amazment, this made Lexie very happy and the smile on her face got even bigger and she started to sing even more enthusiastically. When Lexie finished singing there was loud clapping for her, Mrs. Mills was very impressed. Anastacaia's was all but pleased with Lexie's great performance.
"Amazing, that was really good," said Ms. Mills.
"Thank you," said Lexie, as she got of the stage.
"You have a big chance of becoming the lead," said Ms. Mills. "Anastacia, it your turn now."
Everyone turned to Anastacia and all eyes were now on her. Anastacia looked at everyone watching her and she got nervous and started coughing out of nowhere.
"Sorry, sorry, I've troubles with my voice all of a sudden, very strange, yes," said Anastacia.
"Do you want to sing next week?" Asked Ms. Mills.
"Yes, yes," said Anastacia.
Half an hour later and class was over, Skyla was at her locker telling Mouse about the class, at that same time Raphael walked in her direction.
"Mouse, I looked like an idiot during Musical Class, everyone must have thought so," said Skyla.
"Wow, you sang beautiful, everyone thought so, really. You can sing," said Raphael. "Were you afraid?"
"What do you mean? During class earlier?" Asked Skyla.
"No, the note," said Raphael.
"Note?" Asked Skyla.
Anastacia saw Skyla and Raphael talking and heard Raphael start talking about the note and quickly walked over.
"You must have been worried about me, but I'm alright. Next week, I'll sing beautifully again," said Anastacia.
"I will talk to you later," said Raphael.
Raphael walked away. Anastacia let out a sigh of relief, Skyla looked at Anastacia and really had no idea what was going on.
A few minutes later. Percy was standing in that library with his recorder in his hand. Skyla walked into the library and headed over to Percy.
"Are Mr. Danbury and Mr. Gibson involved somehow? Expect for the fact they are working together," said Percy.
"I think they are, When I returned the book, I found a necklace, with the mark," said Skyla.
"The same one the headmaster has?" Asked Percy.
"What does it mean?" Asked Skyla.
"That they're member of sort of order? We've to investigate the office," said Percy.
"Of the headmaster?" Asked Skyla.
"We've to figure out what they're up to," said Percy.
Even though she didn't like the idea of searching the headmaster's office, she followed Percy out of the library and they walked together toward the headmaster's office.
In the meantime Anastacia was in the room she had discovered when she had followed Lexie and she was going through Lexie's things and she found a passport, she grabbed the passport and looked in it, the person in the picture was Lexie, but it had a completely different name. Lexie walked into the room and saw Anastacia with the passport in her hands.
"What are you doing?" Asked Lexie.
"Bernadette Cole? I believe you've something to explain," said Anastacia.
Anastacia held up Lexie's passport and Lexie looked really, really nervous
At the same time Percy and Skyla were in Mr. Danbury's office, Skyla stood watch while Percy searched the office.
"Shouldn't we get out of here? What if he catches us?" Asked Skyla.
"Just a moment," said Percy.
Percy continued to search the office, he opened a closet and searched it, suddenly there was a click and a secret drawer opened. Percy searched the drawer and pulled out a picture.
"Skyla, come," said Percy.
Skyla walked up to Percy and he showed her the picture, the picture showed two people, a man and the girl that Skyla keeps seeing and Skyla was startled by this and she heard the name Emma going through her head.
Who is the man next to the girl in the picture? What can Percy and Skyla find out? Do the history teacher and the headmaster indeed work together? Why doesn't Anastacia want to sing? And what does Lexie have to hide? Why is there a different name in her passport, than the one she uses? Who is Lexie really?
