A Secret Mission:
Skyla was in her room and the girl had reappeared and Skyla was not happy about this.
"I don't like this," said Skyla, as she turned away so she didn't have to look at the girl.
"Please listen to me, Skyla, find Leopold, you've to find Leopold," said the girl.
"Who is Leopold?" Asked Skyla.
"Tell him that you saw Emma," said the girl.
"Are you Emma?" Asked Skyla. "And why is your picture in the drawer of the.."
Emma disappeared again and Skyla couldn't finish her question, at that exact same moment the door opened and Lexie walked into the room.
"Who were you talking to?" Asked Lexie.
"No one," said Skyla.
Lexie took off her bag and looked at Skyla and thought that she was acting very strange.
"To Mouse, I was talking to Mouse," said Skyla, as that was the best excuse she could come up with.
"Do you still talk to your stuffed toy?" Asked Lexie.
"Sometimes," said Skyla
"Why do you always wear gloves?" Asked Lexie.
"For no reason," said Skyla.
"Can I try them on?" Asked Lexie.
"No, I rather have you don't," said Skyla.
"Okay, I really like this room," said Lexie. "I'll get going again, I've a lot left to discover in this house, bye."
Lexie put her bag down on the top bunk and left the room.
In the meantime, Percy was in living room walking back and forth with his recorder in his hand.
"I've found a picture of a still unknow girl in the hidden drawer in the headmaster's office," said Percy. "It seemed as if Skyla recognized her, but she doesn't want to say anything about it, further investigation is needed."
Percy heard someone coming and turned off his recorder and hid behind the chair. Arlene walked in through the back door with a pouch in her hands, from his position Percy just couldn't get a good look at what was in the pouch. When Arlene was gone, Percy came out from behind the chair, he some on the floor and as he got closer he saw that they were Rowan berries.
"Rowan berries," said Percy.
Percy grabbed an evidence bag, put on his gloves and began putting the berries that had fallen to the ground into the bag.
In the meantime Raphael walked down the hall, he took a note out of his pocket and walked with it toward the coat rack, at that same moment Anastacia walked into the hall and saw Raphael putting a note in the pocket of Skyla's coat. Raphael walked upstairs and Anastacia walked up to the coat rack and took the note out of Skyla's coat and began to read it.
"Hi Skyla, do you want to practice for the musical together tomorrow?" said Anastacia as she read the note out loud.
Anastacia wasn't pleased with this, she folded the note again and almost wanted to put it back in Skyla's coat, but changed her mind and put the bill in her own pocket and walked upstairs.
A few moments later, Milo was in the kitchen, dipping a chocolate bar in his sambal sauce and taking a bite. Lexie who had just walked into the living room thought it was strange what Milo was doing.
"That's not normal, you know," said Lexie.
"It is to me," said Milo. "Shouldn't you go home, or something?"
"This is my home," said Lexie.
"Right," said Milo.
"Just for a while, I live in Skyla and Anastacia's room for now," said Lexie.
"You better look out then, because before you know it, you wake up and take a look in the mirror, and you look like a stinky, slimy toad," said Milo.
"Right, sambal does weird things to a person," said Lexie.
"Not sambal, witches," said Milo.
"A witch?" Asked Lexie.
"Skyla," said Milo.
"Skyla?" Asked Lexie.
"Go ahead and laugh, didn't you see what she did to Percy during class? He passed out because of her spell," said Milo.
"She doesn't look like a witch," said Lexie.
"Those are the worst, hidden witches," said Milo. "Can you imagine what she looks like at night?"
"She is quite weird, earlier she was talking to someone who wasn't there," said Lexie.
"That is what I mean, typical witch, so look out, because before you know it, it's your turn," said Milo.
"Poor Percy," said Lexie.
"Don't worry about Percy, because Milo the Super Detective will save him from the witches, it's just a matter of days before I've broken the spell," said Milo.
In the meantime, Percy had gone to Skyla's room to show her his finds, he knocked on the door and opened it when Skyla said he could come in.
"I've to show you something, can I come in?" asked Percy.
"Sure, said Skyla. "What do you want to show me?"
Percy closed the door and sat down on Skyla's bed, he took the bag of Rowan berries out of his pocket and showed them to Skyla.
"Rowan berries, I found them in the living room," said Percy.
"What are those doing here?" Asked Skyla.
"Arlene," said Percy.
"Arlene? What can she use Rowan berries for?" Asked Skyla.
"Brewing a druid's potion," said Percy.
"You think so?" Asked Skyla.
"Rowan berries are rarely used for anything else," said Percy. "Maybe she working with someone."
"With Mr. Gibson?" Asked Skyla.
"My detective gut says Mr. Danbury, he was here in house," said Percy.
"With the mark," said Skyla.
"Exactly. Or both? We don't know yet if Mr. Danbury and Mr. Gibson are working together," said Percy. "Strange things are happening here, we've to keep a close eye on Arlene."
Skyla thought back to dream she had not long ago in which Emma warned her that Arlene was not to be trusted.
"Skyla, what are you thinking about?" Asked Percy.
"Nothing," said Skyla.
In the meantime. Milo and Lexie were still in the living room and sitting at the table while Milo was still busy eating chocolate bar.
"Can I help you?" Asked Lexie.
"Sorry, I don't think you're ready for this kind of job," said Milo.
"Please, I'll try my hardest," said Lexie.
"I could use an assistant," said Milo.
"I'll be the best assistant there ever is, I promise you that," said Lexie, as she held out her hand.
"Okay, partner, this is your job," said Milo, as he shook Lexie's hand.
"Yes," said Lexie.
"You've to follow Skyla, every suspicious move you report to me," said Milo.
"Aye-aye boss," said Lexie.
"Okay, This is a secret, top secret, so don't talk to anyone but me," said Milo.
In the meantime, Arlene was in Kent's study and he was not happy that Lexie was back in the house.
"What is that girl doing here?" Asked Kent.
"Anastacia invited her, I couldn't tell her to leave," said Arlene.
"We can't have witnesses running around now," said Kent.
"I know, I'll make sure she won't be a problem," said Arlene.
"Good," said Kent.
Arlene handed Kent the bag of Rowan berries.
"Has everyone been informed?" Asked Kent.
"They will all be here," said Arlene.
A few moments later, Anastacia stood in the hall and saw Lexie had ear against a glass and was holding it up to the wall.
"What are you doing?" Asked Anastacia.
"Hush," said Lexie.
Lexie realized Anastacia was standing next to her, she removed her ear from the glass and turned toward Anastacia.
"Hey Anastacia, I was…," said Lexie, but she was unable to come up with an excuse.
"Right, well let's go, I don't have hours to spare," said Anastacia.
Anastacia walked toward her room and Lexie followed her into the room.
"It's really nice of you to let me stay," said Lexie.
"Yes, about that.. you've to do something in return, you've to come to the drama room after school," said Anastacia.
"But I can't, I promised Milo I would follow Skyla," said Lexie.
Lexie had slipped up and put her hand in front of her mouth.
"Say cancel that," said Anastacia. "Or do you want to world to know what happened at the mall?"
"No, no, but," said Lexie.
"Good, I'll see you tomorrow in the Drama room," said Anastacia.
Anastacia walked toward her makeup table and grabbed her makeup bag and left the room again. Lexie did not know what to do anymore, she was quite shocked that Anastacia threatened to fire her and knew she had to do what Anastacia said, but on the other hand, she also wanted to help Milo with his mission.
A few hours later, Percy was in his room and sitting at his desk, he put the Rowan berries he had found in a petri dish, he was just about to grab his magnifying glass to it, when Milo walked into the room and stood next to him.
"Dude, what happened during class today?" Asked Milo.
"I don't know, I simply passed out," said Percy.
"You simply passed out? Dude, that wasn't normal, it was a witch spell," said Milo.
"Here we go again," said Percy.
"She has bewitched you," said Milo.
"She is quite nice," said Percy.
Milo grabbed Percy's face and shook him back and forth.
"Dude, I didn't know it had gotten this bad, Percy! Don't you see what she is doing to you? Percy, can't you see? She has bewitched you and you don't know who your friends are!" Said Milo.
Percy removed Milo's hands from his face and went to focus on his research on the berries.
"Percy, I'm warning you, stay away from her," said Milo. "Or do you want to end up in that toad tank in the headmaster's office?"
"Will you visit me from time to time?" Asked Percy sarcastically.
"Keep making jokes, Percy, you'll croak soon enough," said Milo.
Milo walked away and Percy shook his head. Percy was just about to empty one of the berries under the microscope when Milo walked back.
"And I've warned you!" Said Milo.
Milo walked away again and Percy continued his research on the Rowan berry.
In the meantime, Skyla sat in the bathroom with Mouse and was thinking about Emma and how Arlene was involved in all of this.
"What does Arlene need with Rowan berries? Maybe Emma is right and Arlene can't be trusted," said Skyla. "But if I tell Percy, he will think I'm a witch and I don't want Percy to think I'm a witch."
What Skyla didn't realize was that Lexie was on the other side of the door, eavesdropping on her.
Back in the boys' room, Percy had left the room, Raphael was sitting behind his piano and Milo was pacing back and forth around the room worried.
"Percy is in danger and we have to save him, they are probably going to poison him and turn him in to a toad. And the headmaster and the history teacher are involved too," said Milo. "Hey, what if.."
Milo walked up to Raphael and looked at his notebook and saw that Raphael, was writing Skyla's name and that he was putting hearts in it.
"No, not you too! She has bewitched you as well!" Said Milo.
"Who?" Asked Raphael.
Milo grabbed Raphael's his notebook and pointed to Skyla's name.
"Witch Girl! Skyla! Don't fall for it, man, she isn't as innocent as she looks, oh man, first Percy, now you," said Milo.
"Percy?" Asked Raphael.
"She is good, she is really good," said Milo.
Raphael grabbed his notebook back from Milo. Raphael got up and left the room. Milo sat down at Percy's desk and grabbed one of the berries from the evidence bag and looked at it.
"I know what you're up to up Witchy, but you won't get me, with your magical berries," said Milo.
The door to the room opened and out of fright Milo put the berry in his mouth and started seeing all kinds of weird images, about 5 people in cloaks standing by a cauldron and it looked like they were brewing a potion and they were using the Rowan berries. Milo looked frightened and began to panic.
Why was Milo seeing these images? Could it be because he put the berry in his mouth? What are the druids up to? Will Skyla and Percy find out why Arlene brought Rowan berries into the house?
