Annnnd we're back and good news no blood and guts in this chapter….yay. I promised CB that I would get a chapter out this week so here we are.
I want to thank everyone who has read, alerted, followed, faved or reviewed. Speaking about reviews here we go: CB73, Ronnie boy is drifting away from Kimmie and most of his other friends. He knows most of them are going to have the college experience and he won't, and it sucks for him. Now he is devoted to his sister. Eventually, Kim is gonna figure that a lot of this was her fault although that 'eventually' may take months; Uberscribbler, 'too quiet'? You know I CAN liven things up a little; Gj agent, oh Eric will find out more than he wants about Yamanouchi…..just think Yono. Kimmie does want to speak with Ron…face to face, but he has to wear that damned suit.
Guest, Junior may speak with papa sometime, but you have to realize that Junior cares a little too much about his pop career; Jimmy1201, everything is working according to Eric's plan so far. And yes Eric/Hans has Kimmie wrapped around his finger; Guest, yay Kim and her boy are having some disagreements.
There, that is done. I want to thank CajunBear73 and Jimmy1201 for the beta work.
Now, lets get this sucker on the road,

The Hunter: Book Two
Chapter 42
The Jar Head Diner:
Anne smiled as the 'hazmat-suit' enclosed cook came into view as he was pulling something over his hands. "How are you today, Ronald? I hear you didn't go to the prom last night. You really should have; it will be a memory that you will share with your classmates for the rest of your life."
"Meh, I thought I was working, but Mac let me have the night off and I didn't have a date, so I wasn't gonna show up 'stag'. Ya know I really don't need to remember how pathetic I've become.," the partially muffled voice of the blond teen responded.
Kim couldn't hold back anymore, "That's a lousy reason, what is the real one that caused you not to go Ron?"
"Sure. A couple of reasons Kim, but the main one is that I don't have a girlfriend, I don't look to get one any time soon except for a cutie in Japan so I refuse to go stag and sit around like a bump on a log. So, I'd rather save some money and get some sleep instead. I've had little enough of that over the last nine months that catching some Z's looked like a really good idea," the blond sidekick explained as he shrugged his shoulders.
Anne nodded knowing what lack of sleep could do to someone over an extended period having experienced that herself. She asked, "And the baby? Who is taking care of her?"
"Hanna? Yeah, Nancy took her upstairs where Connie can watch her for a few hours while she does laundry," Ron told the surgeon.
"Nancy and Connie?" Anne asked.
Ron clarified, "Connie is Mac's wife, he owns the place and Nancy is his daughter, they both work the counter and waitress. Mac is Raymond 'Gunny' Worschter, he is a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and is tough enough to kick even Barkin's stupid ass. Mac owns the place and used to be the only cook here. I do most of the day cooking on the weekends and the night cooking during the week. I suppose when school gets out, we'll work on a schedule change."
James Possible frowned, "Ronald, your cooking is chef quality…."
"Sir, you have to get that paper that says you're a chef, that means going to school which I can't afford and don't have time to attend. Soooo, until I get that paper, I am just a cook and will probably stay that way until Hanna gets out of college or I croak whichever comes first."
Kim looked at her childhood friend, "I'm sorry Ron."
"Nothing to be sorry about Kim, I have realized that I'm just a guy from the other side of the tracks and it's about time everyone else realized that too, I know that I have. Not everyone is destined to be surgeons, engineers, or rocket scientists, or diplomats. There are people like me who have to plow the streets, haul the trash or cook. I DO know one thing; Hanna Stoppable is going to have a more fulfilling life when she goes to raise her family. But you have to start somewhere, Mom and Dad said they had plans for me, but I don't know what they are…uh were…I guess they took that last 'this is our way of telling you' thing to their graves with them."
A surprised Kim Possible asked, "How did you know I wanted to do international relations, Ron?"
The blond teen rolled his eyes as other customers came in the door, "You talked that kind of stuff for a couple years Kim….at least since we've been doin the world savin gig, it was sorta obvious even to me and the place you end up going in England is noted for teaching that. Listen guys, I have to get back to work there are a lot of things to do and with me in here they are not getting done. I'll see ya later," Ron turned to go back to the kitchen.
Anne got up and followed the teen into the kitchen as she got there, a gruff voice said, "Ma'am, I can't let you back here unless you wash up."
"I will only be a moment Mac…I guess you're Mac since you have a Marine tattoo on your arm," the red-haired surgeon observed.
The blond teen unsealed his hood and put the gloves in their stored position and muttered, "I hate that damned suit."
"Ronald, Jimmy and I are going to tell Kimmie what you had with her…."
Ron turned and shook his head, "No, don't do that. It would complicate things if you did. Kim is happy with Eric, let her be happy and don't ruin it for her. She did all that save the world stuff and mostly she missed out on being a teenaged girl."
"She had boyfriends Ronald…."
"Yeah, but how many lasted…. Josh did for a while, and she's had Eric longer than anyone…."
"But you," Anne countered.
"Not really, I was the rebound safe type of guy between Eric the robot to Eric the live guy. She's really into this version of Eric, I hope it lasts for her, she deserves it. I was a fool to believe things would work out for us," Ron responded as he washed his hands.
"Very well Ronald, but if Kimmie breaks up with Eric, I am going to tell her, and I am going to tell Monique to tell her too."
Ron shrugged again, "Doctor Possible, sigh, fair enough, but I really need to get back to work. Mac is supposed to be done until after seven…."
"You are working a fourteen-hour shift Ronald?"
"Remember a couple times last year when Barkin was pissed at me, and he had me running stairs for almost eight hours? A fourteen-hour shift here is easy compared to that and Mac pays me. All Barkin did was run me into the ground and have his gorillas try to break me in half; all for that crappy assed trophy that he gets to show off when sports casters come to talk with him about next year. It was the team's blood and bruises that got him that win it wasn't his shitty coaching. We did most of our own stuff out there. Tank and some of the others just told him to twiddle his thumbs and shut up."
Anne responded, "But everyone was proud of you…"
"Mom and Dad didn't really care. Anyway, I like it here; I'm treated with respect at least one hell of a lot more than Barkin and some of the other staff treated me. Mac (who just snorted at the mention of Steve Barkin's name), nor Connie, nor Nancy nor anyone else who works here screws up my name. Listen, I'm sorry about blowing up, but I have a lot on my mind while trying to raise Sis, go to school, work and clean the house then once in a while go out and help Kim do her thing. Thanks for coming in, but I have to get back to work. I'll have your order out pretty fast," Ron turned back to his stove as he leaned down to check the temps then checked the deep fryer and made sure the waffle maker was ready to roll.
Anne made to say something when Gunny intervened, "Ma'am, my employee does need to get back to work. We must get this place ready for the lunch rush which is due in about an hour. I would suggest that you speak with him after work hours which for Ron, would be after nineteen hundred hours this evening."
"Nineteen hundred…," Anne said as she tried to remember how to translate military time.
Nancy 'spindled' an order and called out, "UP. Get your butt moving Stoppable."
Ron interrupted her musing, "After nineteen hundred is after seven tonight, Ma'am, and that's my cue to make people happy."
The red-haired surgeon frowned as she shook her head and turned away to go back out to James and Kim. She decided on her next course of action.
When Anne got to their booth, Kim asked, "What was that all about?"
"Oh honey, I am working on a new recipe, and I wanted Ronald's advice since he has written several books on cooking, that's all," Anne smiled as she sat down next to her husband.
Kim shrugged her shoulders and asked, "I know Ron's talented; I could see how he could write a book about it. Now why didn't the tweebs come with us? I didn't see either of them this morning."
James grinned, "Well, they spent time with some of their classmates last night. And we let them stay over there. We didn't want them to bother you or Eric on your big night, you know how they can be."
Sigh, "Well that didn't turn out too well from what you can expect from the way I acted when I got home. We got into it a little, Eric was being a horse's butt about Ron and me wanting to speak with him. I defended my childhood friend since Eric was telling me that Ron was bad for me. That equated to a short night and since you guys relaxed my curfew, I thought I'd be out until daylight and would be in bed right now."
James nodded as he picked up his cup and took a sip, "All couples have spats, I know your Mother and I do. You and Ronald used to get into arguments as well even as youngsters although I think he caved into your wishes more than you ever did his."
"Yeah, a lot of drama. I remember going to the prom last year with Eric, but he was a robot after that I sorta gray out from there," Kim told them.
"You went back to the dance after Drakken's world takeover attempt, but with Ronald on your arm," Anne enlightened her daughter.
"What?"
James said lowly, "Yes there was a picture in the school paper at the time."
Anne grinned, "But I am sure it was because you kissed Ronald."
An annoyed Kim Possible started sputtering, "I did not!"
James smirked, "Oh, I believe I have a copy of that issue of your student paper Kimmie. I'll see if I can find it."
Kim brought her hands up to her face and shook her head.
Anne's smirk matched her husband's, "And the tattoo Ronald has on his back has your image there along with Rufus and some Asian girl."
"I am not…. uh how do you know that?"
"You told me about it and later when I checked Ronald out after an injury, I made him show it to me," Anne explained.
"Ron has a tattoo with me in it?"
James nodded, "He got it over the summer. When you found out, you were elated. I have to admit it is a first class one although at the time I didn't think that your face should be on anyone's body. I do wonder who the Asian girl was though?"
"I don't believe you…," Kim's eyes narrowed then she growled, "Yori."
Anne Possible looked confused at her daughter, "Yori?"
"Yeah, that's the name of the other girl it has to be, she's Japanese. She was crushing on Ron a couple years ago," the younger red-head informed them as the information just came to her in a flash, "We were on a mission, well Ron was with her. Wade was able to get me to them. I thought she was trying to kidnap Ron, but all that she wanted was for Ron to help her find the head of her school who had been kidnapped. I mean we found him, but that's all I remember. Maybe if I see Ron's tattoo I'll remember more."
Anne shook her head, "Ron's Mom wasn't happy about it and Ronald tried to keep it covered up. I'm not sure he wants anyone to see or talk about it."
James nodded as Nancy brought out their orders, "Here ya go folks, ah it looks like the second rush has started." She glanced out the window seeing the parking lot had begun to fill up, "Yeah, church must've gotten out. I'll be back in a minute with more coffee and to check to make sure everything is fine."
Kim frowned as she picked up her cup of coffee and thought out loud, "I need to speak with Ron, I need to touch him, but this damned allergy…."
Anne thought for a moment then her eyes narrowed as she continued, "It is very strange for this allergy to come up right when Ronald had been away from you for a while. Usually when you develop them it is from being around each other too much. At least that is what I have heard, I have some colleagues at the hospital who might be able to shed some light on this, but I am going to need blood samples from both you and Ronald. I will have him go to the hospital when I get the word what types of blood draws, they need on Monday or Tuesday."
"Anne?" James asked.
"Yes Jimmy."
"I remember Wade taking scans of the kids right after Kimmie started showing signs of this allergy. I would assume since Ronald has gotten those suits from GJ that they might have blood work as well. It wouldn't hurt to ask them," the rocket scientist suggested.
"True Jimmy, but it never hurts to have more than one blood stick," Anne responded as she cut into her omelet.
Kim added, "Yeah, we both got scans from Wade, but I never gave a blood sample and Ron might not have either. I know the scans are pretty good but giving blood work might help out."
'Nancy' returned to fill their cups. She asked, "How well do you guys actually know Ron?"
James responded, "He is practically my third son, Kimmie here met him when they were both about four years old in pre-k and except for the last five months they have been almost inseparable. Why?"
"We have noticed that while he always is helpful and looks upbeat there is a sadness in him, like he is resigned to something. I think he puts on a show for us. You know, he didn't even blink an eye when he took down both of those robbers," she informed the Possibles.
Anne looked at the waitress, "Ronald used to speak with me and Kimberly…. now he goes out of his way to avoid us. We've heard through Wade that he is close to some friends, but I fear we are not considered his close friends anymore."
Nancy responded, "People can grow away from each other over time. Dad used to be really close with the guys from his units, but we haven't been to conventions for years. Of course, some of his close buddies are now dead so I could see where he wouldn't want to think about all that."
James nodded, "It's the same with some of my old college buddies. I didn't know that one of them became a villain who is one of Kimmie's foes."
Anne asked, "Drew?"
"Yeah, but Kimmie knows him as Doctor Drakken. He tried to take over the world last spring."
"Yes, he had those giant robots that grew from those cute little toys like the ones the tweebs had," Kim agreed then paused.
Kim added after taking a breath, "And the first 'Eric' was a syntho drone who Drakken made to mess with my feelings…. Ron…. he tried to warn everyone in the gym where the dance was, I finally checked it out and Ron and I knew we had to take Drakken down. That was the night of my junior prom."
"You were on your game that night Kimmie, then you and Ronald went back to the prom together," Anne confided.
"Yeah, okay maybe we did. But I didn't remember that. Anyway, the real Eric came into my life last fall, and we might make a life of it. We are going to college together over in England and find how compatible we are. We're gonna leave this summer so we can get an apartment a month or two before the term starts there and settle in and maybe do some sightseeing. Eric wants to show me around the country."
"I am happy for you Miss Possible…," Nancy responded.
"Kim please, every time I hear Miss Possible, I have flashbacks of Mister Barkin's voice growling at me," the younger redhead stated.
Nancy chuckled as she poured more coffee, "Ron has said the same thing, Dad growls every time he hears the name Barkin."
Anne frowned at this, "I wonder why?"
Nancy responded with a grin on her face, "I am a Navy nurse, my Dad is a Marine, Dad also said Barkin is a wannabe Marine."
James Possible coughed with his hand over his mouth as he understood an insult (having been given one by Ron Stoppable the previous year) when he now heard one.

Mac asked, "Do you have it under control for a while Ron?"
The blond teen cocked his head, "When have I not had it under control Gunny?"
"True, ah, what are your plans after graduation. I know you told me that you plan to keep working here…."
"Yeah, I plan to as long as you want me. My only other real option is moving to Japan, and I really don't want to do that," the teen responded.
"Why Japan?" Mac inquired as he removed his work apron.
"Well, Hanna has family over there, and I have friends over there. I speak the lingo and my friends could get me residency status. I mean I could find other places to live, but I have the place in Lowerton paid for. The car is paid for and all I'd have is insurance payments, utilities, taxes and food expenses. So, I can make it pretty much on my own once we move in and the place is only about ten miles from here," Ron explained.
"Well, I want you to know that there is a rumor that Colorado State is recruiting you," Mac revealed after reading the sports pages. Since the high school football season was over, the sports writers wrote articles about recruiting for upcoming teams.
"They haven't said anything to me…. though I have heard something about it, but rumors are rumors and don't count for shit."
"I hear that they are gonna spring it on you…of course, Barkin is trying to pull that BS on you."
Sigh, "Mac, I think I'm finished playing football. I know it's a great opportunity and after four or five years I could have a decent paying occupation, but now I have someone super cute baby who needs me and that's a ton more important to me than carrying a football around in front of some screaming fans on a Saturday afternoon. It's my job as the head of the Stoppable family to make tough decisions. Anyway, with asshole Barkin, he can shove Middleton High up his ass. Soon I turn eighteen and am the head of my household and if he tries to claim I'm not eighteen I have a passport and a birth certificate that says otherwise, the United States government knows how old I am and I'd take their word over his."
(AN….Wade had informed Ron that Steve Barkin was putting out information that the blond teen wasn't really seventeen and had falsified school records and had somehow been getting bogus grades put on his record….nothing had been proven, but CSU was definitely taken back by the information that the Middleton High school administer had given them.)
"I know all that Ron, but getting back to college, you could get someone to watch your Sister when you are in classes or practicing or playing in a game."
"I don't wanna be a part time brother, with Sis it's gonna be a full-time job," Ron told Mac as he placed the order on the rack and began to scan though it.
Moments later, the blond teen was cracking eggs, and put them in a bowl. The teen then opened a bag of potatoes and poured three piles on the grill. He squirted some oil on them and then shook a can of spices over the piles. The teen then placed slices of bread in the toasters. After turning over the hash browns, then squirted some oil on the grill then poured out the eggs into threes.
Two minutes later Ron called out, "Table seven up."
Mac muttered as Nancy came to the counter and spindled two more tickets, "Shit, kid, that never ceases to amaze me how you can knock out an order that fast."
"Boss go take a break and put your legs up cause you're old and all….err that came out wrong, I have it for now….at least till Lenny comes in after the dinner rush," Ron offered, "He's a little slow, but he's getting better when I work with him for a while."
"Oh, alright kicked out of my own damned kitchen, I do have to meet with some guys. I'll be back in about an hour," Gunny retorted as he tossed his apron into the container meant for laundry.
Ron pulled the other two tickets down and began to work on them.
XX
James asked Nancy when she came back out, "So Ronald gets off about seven tonight?"
"That's the schedule, but sometimes he works over with one of our newer cooks. I mean the guy wasn't bad before, but Ron really has his act together in the kitchen and his showing him all sorts of tricks. He gave Dad one of his cookbooks and suggested that he might want to publish it."
Anne's eyes opened wide, "Ronald has publishable cookbooks?"
"Yes Ma'am. Written and practically ready to print. I heard already that he gave the other ones away and gave the rights to them up as well," Nancy grinned, "Sooo, Dad is going to have the book published. One of his old Marines has a publishing company and they are supposed to sign the contracts today."
"Ronald is going to be a published author?" James Possible inquired.
Nancy nodded, "Ron gave up the rights and dad went ahead and did it. The proceeds from this will really be able to help us grow."
"How is he going to be able to do that?" Anne asked.
"Well, Dad owns the building, and he has an option on about a couple thousand acres. He should be able to put in a small shopping center. If he can do that and almost pay cash for it, then he will be able to think about retirement. All those years carrying a rifle and a rucksack have not been good on his knees and his back. It will make life a lot easier," Nancy informed them.
Anne asked the waitress, "Where did you go to school?"
"Well, being a Marine brat, I went to the academy and nurse's school. I did my time in the Navy and got out…cept for Army National Guard. I am a floor nurse at Lowerton Mercy and work these shifts to help out and make some tips," Nancy responded.
James whistled, "That's a lot of hours."
"Yeah, maybe I'd cut back if I ever found someone, but Dad needs me to help out. Of course, he also runs off any potential dates too," Nancy chuckled, "Oh, gotta go, more are coming in. Ron had better dial it up to twelve."
Another waitress just entered the door and waved. Nancy waved back.
Kim had rolled her eyes as Anne chuckled, "I think that your Father is nowhere near that bad Kimmie."
"I agree honey, I have learned my lesson and promise not to give anymore boys the 'black hole deep' lecture ever again," James chuckled as the other waitress picked up an apron with an order pad and pencil in it and went to a table that Nancy pointed out which was the next one in line.
Anne chuckled as she took a fork full of egg, "I will let you do it only if they get out of hand and disrespect Kimmie."
"Good Annie, now all I need is an unwilling suspect…. Kimmie has your boyfriend been disrespectful to you?"
"Uh no Dad, he has been a perfect gentleman," the auburn-haired heroine responded as she saw the twinkle in her Father's eyes.
James Possible frowned, "That's too bad."

Three hours later:
The blond teen finally had a good sweat going as he started another order.
"You Okay, Ron?" Nancy asked loudly as she spindled another order.
"Yeah, catching my second wind. How's it going out there?"
"Your friends left a couple hours ago, and the dining room is packed, but it doesn't look like anyone else is coming in," the waitress informed the teen.
"That was a real mad house. I gotta take a load outta the dishwasher and get another load started. When they start leaving, I'll come out and bus some tables."
"No, you have to get the food prepped for dinner before Lenny comes in. You can't be in two places at one time," she told him.
"You should see the videos of some of my games. You might wanna take that back."
"Dad said you were fast. I have a shift at the hospital tonight, so I'll be gone before you."
"And they say I work too hard Nancy."
"You do, sure you have a kid now, but you're a kid too. Try to remember that."
Ron chuckled as he opened the dishwasher and began to pull the flatware out first.
XXX
Renton home early evening:
"Come on Sis, let's get you some grub and then a nice bath," the blond-haired teen grinned tightly to the child as he lifted her out of her car seat.
A familiar car pulled up to the curb and a red-haired surgeon exited out of the passenger side of the auto, "Ronald, I thought you would come by the house, it is almost nine."
"Huh, oh hi Missus Doctor Pea. I got held up showing Lenny a few short cuts. Then I took Sis out to a park to run off some energy. I guess I shoulda called…. uh Kim isn't around, is she?"
Sigh, "No, she is home doing homework…. As you can see, only James is in the car."
"Oh, I thought she and the Limey Clown would be out watching a movie or going to some high-class eatery or something," Ron chuckled, "Speaking of which I have a few hours yet to do tonight."
Anne Possible ignored his excuse for trying to go inside since the child was not fussy at the moment, "If I remember, you gave recipes to Pace's…."
"I did in exchange for meals…for, ah Kim and me. She doesn't remember so it's no foul ball here."
"They got the better end of the deal you know. Why didn't you go to work there? They would have loved to have you on their staff," Anne inquired.
"I applied, but Ernie clued me in to not being employable because of Martin Smarty," Ron explained, "I told your husband a while back, I thought he would have said something although I know you are busy down in Denver."
"I am and he did Ronald. I wanted to hear it from your mouth. I should have a talk with Mister Smarty about what his actions have done to a hometown hero."
"How did anything Mister Smarty do mess with Kim except having her take that lie detector test? Kim's had to take those before…."
"I'm talking about you Ronald," Anne countered.
"I'm no hero and I don't need anyone spouting off Philosophy in Martin Smarty's face, it would probably just annoy him to no end cause him to take further actions against more of my friends or extend the area which I can't work. I do know he doesn't own Japan or Israel both of which are places I can go to if everything turns upside down," Ron frowned now unhappy at having this conversation considering how tired both he and Hanna were at the moment.
James Possible got out of the driver's side of the car and walked over to his wife and 'third' son. "Ronald, you work too hard."
"If ya don't have the diploma you haveta work with your back Doctor P….err James," Ron responded, "So, you guys came out here to see me and the munchkin?"
Anne chuckled as she took the tyke from the teen, "That's a better name then 'intruder', but I am going to ask the hospital to do some blood work on both you and Kimmie. I want to get to the bottom of her allergy to you."
Beep Beep De Da Beep
Anne and James Possible had heard this same tone for years from their daughter's team unit. Ron Stoppable stepped off to the side, pulled out his Kimmunicator, and said, "What do ya have for me Wade?"
"I have a request from that school in Japan, they need you and a representative of the school to investigate a missing artifact in a temple," the genius responded.
"Where am I going, when and where is my ride Wade?" Ron inquired.
"You have three hours; their contact person is on the ride…"
Sigh, "Do I need Kim? I don't wanna seal up this suit…."
"No, they don't want her along…."
"Has GJ been notified buddy?"
"No, I'll do that while you're in the air."
"Can I take Sis with me?"
"I wouldn't, I don't know what you are gonna run into, so it would be best to have her at the hospital nursery. Last time you just went to a couple public places in London, this time they are not revealing anything to me," Wade explained.
Ron waited for a moment as he thought about that information then said, "Okay, I have to pack, Hanna's diaper bag, get her a bath and some food. Where do I meet them?"
"At the airport Ron."
"Okay I have enough coin for long term parking, can you notify my work that I am going to be out of town, but will try to be back for my work schedule tomorrow night?"
"I can do that Ron; your boss is pretty cool about this you know."
"Yeah, he is. Listen, I'll see if I can get Felix to grab my homework cause I don't think this is just gonna be an overnight one unless I just have to go to Denver or Upperton, but Barkin is gonna crack my ass sideways, since Kim isn't coming," Ron stated.
"I can have GJ lean on him if you want…."
"Was GJ invited Wade?"
"Not yet…."
James offered, "I heard the call Ronald, I will speak with your Mister Barkin, and I will notify Missus King since she seems to be interested in you. That should keep him off your ass."
"Any help with Sarge would be appreciated Doc….err James. Sorry, it's still new."
Ron reached over and took his sister back from Anne Possible, "I have to get Sis her bath and try to remember to get everything done before my flight out, thanks for coming over to see me."
Anne reached out and pulled Ron, with his sister into a hug. "I'm sorry this is such a big load for you Ronald."
The blond teen stepped back as Anne release the embrace, "My time in the box is almost over, sometime this summer me and sis will be in another town. Thanks for running interference for me with Barkin James, I more than appreciate it."
Ron then went inside the Renton home.
Anne looked at her husband, "He is more of a man than many males three times his age Jimmy. I wish we could do more for him. She then walked over to the car and got inside.
X
While drying Hanna off Ron explained, "You haveta go to the nursery tonight, Hanna, but I'll try to be back tomorrow afternoon.
Zita said from downstairs, "I could take a day off from School…"
"No, if someone is going to get into trouble over this it might as well be me. You kiss Felix goodnight and head home…."
"Wheels drove me, he gets to take me home," the Latina countered.

Middleton Memorial:
Ron held the raven-haired tyke as he explained, "Sis needs to be here tonight, Ma'am, because I got called out of town."
"With Miss Possible Ronald?"
Sigh, "No, this is one where they thought I could handle with another agency."
"She will be fine Ronald, go save the world…."
"I hope it doesn't come to that Ma'am. Sis you be good and eat the food they give you and don't tear the place apart."
Ron then handed Hanna off and set the bag on a chair.
He then walked to the door.
