And here we are again guys. Oh, before we start, no blood, no gore. Maybe some popcorn instead as we watch this one.
Also, my big event for the year is done and it should be a lot calmer till the end of the year. I do have to go over one postulant's paperwork and then send it and another one, which is done, in for approval. I have a volunteer for a job in the priory so it's less of a load on me.
Now that all of that is taken care of I just need to find a venue for the 2024 investiture.
Being taken care of I can thank everyone who has read, faved, followed, alerted and/or reviewed this tale and while we're at it let's answer some reviews: Guest, yeah I know, I wish it would end sooner too; Gj agent, Eric and Barkin both want Ron to stay in Middleton. Barkin wants our hero to stick around and give him another trophy…Eric wants to plant Ron next to his parents; CB73, Barkin has had some problems, but I foresee many more of those problems in his future. Kimmie got a small glimpse of Ron's life, even some of the cheerleaders know what's going on in the sidekick's life. Ya know if Sensei had everything on the ball, he woulda sent a couple of his operatives over to Middleton. Sure, the old ninja master as the Chosen One watching the baby, but does it ever occur that Ron might be in just a little over his head?
Jimmy1201, between Barkin and the sidekick the older jerk will always be an intolerant 'A' hole. Just remember how he tried to get Ron injured a few times. Now let's get to Marines, Jar Heads or whatever you call them. I've known more than a few over the years and for the most part they are professional and don't screw with people like Stevie does. Mac is a Marine, Barkin was a pencil pusher plain and simple; Bobtrumpet, Don't worry Bob, Stevie is going to get what's coming to him. Oh, Hippy Alice Magrath tries to let her staff do their jobs, but she is coming to the end of that rope with her assistant principal.
I also want to thank my two betas for their work, I believe this one was edited by CajunBear73. He has been with me since 2008 and has hauled my fat can outta the fire a lot of times. Jimmy is sorta new working with me, but he's almost got me trained.
Now that all of that is outta the way…..let's get this on.

The Hunter: Book Two
Chapter 47
Middleton High Assembly Hall, last period:
The fashionista sat with the Middleton High cheerleaders in the front row and right next to her best female friend (BFF) and waited for the event to begin as she glanced around and saw reporters standing off to the side of the stage.
Once everyone was seated seven people walked up to the table that had been placed on the stage.
With a nod from the principal they all sat on the chairs provided. The principal, Alice Magrath, turned on her microphone and said, "Welcome students, staff, the rest of the Middleton schools family and members of the press; today marks another of our athletically blessed students signing his letter to attend Colorado State University. With us is Doctor James Possible who is a friend of Ronald's family, Mister Allen Rhodes school board member and doubling as Ronald's attorney, Coach Wayne Jefferies who is the running backs coach for Colorado State, Mister Steven Barkin who is the head coach of the Mad Dogs and Brick Flagg who you all know is the starting quarterback for Colorado State and a graduate from Middleton High last spring and Ronald Stoppable who won the Most Valuable Player award for the best running back in Colorado last year and won a similar trophy in the championship game last December. He is the reason that we are here today. Now may I present Coach Jefferies."
An African American man pulled the microphone over to him. "I am Wayne Jefferies otherwise known around the team as Coach J or preacher J. I am the assistant Offense Coordinator and the running backs coach at the university. Last fall we at CSU noticed a lightning fast back here at Middleton High with very impressive numbers who was incredibly tough and since Brick went to school here, we asked him to gather up some information which is why we haven't made a lot of noise in the recruitment of Mister Stoppable….also it was to kind of deflect from other schools that we had an interest in him. We have spoken to others who know Mister Stoppable and realized that he is the real deal."
The coach looked around, "We did have some concerns you understand, Ron only played one year…one TREMENDOUS year being the backbone of a smaller school in a tough class with its run through the playoffs and the championship game. For a while during his first season, he played 'iron man football' that means both sides of the line and he did so while injured proving that he could make opposing quarterbacks very concerned about where he lined up. We also had some concerns about Ron's grades, but we have been told by his classmates and his teachers that he has made considerable strides in his academics going as far as to be placed in advanced classes without having the prerequisites to be in those classes and is doing quite well. Mister Barkin seems to have an eye for talent either athletically or academically. Mister Stoppable also had some trauma in his life with both of his parents passing away earlier this year and he took up the raising of his baby sister with the aid of friends and teammates. This gave us good look at how he is turning into an adult. Considering all of that Colorado State University has decided to offer a four-year scholarship to play football at our institution to Ronald Stoppable. He has done a tremendous service for years under Miss Kim Possible and we think that he is just coming in to his own and we feel the media will be talking about his years at CSU in a very positive manner, at least we think so. He has moves that Walter Payton…God rest his soul, could only dream of."
The coach passed the microphone to the former quarterback of the Mad Dogs.
Brick waved and said, "Hey Mad Dogs, it's good to be back and it will be great having another Dawggggg in the back field with me terrorizing the conference at CSU, of course I guess I might be pressed into babysitting once in a while, but it is well worth it. Don't you think?" Many of the kids in the audience chuckled. "Doctor Possible?"
James grabbed the closest mic and brought it to him, "Most of you know me, I am Kim Possible's father. I have known Ronald Stoppable most of his life. He came into ours when Kimmie introduced him to us on her first day of pre-k. Since then, he has basically been a fixture in her life providing friendship and support even so far as to help her on her missions and eat up a lot of my groceries (a 'daddddddd' came from the front row where the cheerleaders were seated) (causing the audience to chuckle even more) when he's not out gallivanting around the world with Kimmie. In my humble opinion I think Colorado State has made a good choice in selecting him to be in their program. Mister Rhodes?"
A man who some knew if they had attended school board meeting pulled the mic up to his position as Coach Jefferies passed him a folder. "Hello, I am Allen Rhodes, normally a member of the school board, but today I am present as Ronald Stoppable's attorney. I have already scanned the paperwork and I will show your schoolmate where to sign to make this official. I will of course keep a copy in my files for his protection as well as his birth certificate and school records.", the lawyer announced as he opened the folder and looked it over.
Nodding that he thought that everything was correct he handed Ron a pen and pointed where to sign. While Ron was putting his 'John Hancock' down. (AN….. that is an old joke and I hope everyone gets it.)
Rhodes continued, "A while back Ron bought a place to live in Lowerton, he, his insurance man and I were there at the closing because he is still a minor although he is basically living on his own while raising a sister, so actually this paper isn't near as life changing as those were."
Those gathered began to chuckle again at that revelation.
After Ron placed the pen down Coach Jefferies handed his new recruit a Colorado State ball cap and motioned for the teen to put it on. After that the Middleton High kids began to applaud. With a grin Ron pulled the microphone over to him. He began, "I'm not very good at this, but I want to thank the guys on the team without the line's blocking I woulda been a grease stain in my first game. To Curt and Dave whose middle name really is Clarence." There was a shout, "I get you for that sidekick." Ron chuckled as he kept on going, "The staff at Middleton High, Mom, Dad, sniff, Kim and Mister Doctor Pea and Missus Doctor Pea….yeah I said it.", Ron raised his hand in triumph, "James Possible wanted me to call him by his first name, but it just doesn't seem right since I basically grew up eating his groceries.."
This drew more laughs as Ron continued, "Still I want to thank CSU and their coaching staff for giving me this opportunity to continue my education so that I can take better care of my baby sister."
At that point a very huge man came out on stage carrying a cute raven-haired baby girl. He was followed by a wisp of a blonde girl who was carrying a diaper bag.
Ron chuckled into the microphone, "Aaaaand cue the entry of said munchkin, she's cute. For those of you who don't know this is my sister, Hanna Stoppable, otherwise known as 'lil intruder' cause Mom and Dad put her in my room in the old house and stuffed me in the basement for my crimes of being a big brother. Bringing her up on stage is honorary uncle Big Mike Little and supervising behind him is his squeeze Justine Flanner who is just about the smartest person on the planet 'cept for Felix Renton and Wade Load….of course the tweebs are getting smarter….I heard they hacked Kim's online diary and have offered to post snippets of the contents and if you guys pay them enough you might get a gander at it. Sis will be going to CSU with me, and I think she is going to try and get her degree in something before she turns five…maybe six, that's just how smart she is. Anyway, she has to come with because commuting from Colorado Springs is just wayyyy too far." Ron wiped a tear from his eye as Mike Little handed the little bundle of joy off to her brother.
"Anyway, like I said, thanks for giving me this opportunity, I'll try to not screw it up.", Ron then stood up and started shaking hands first with James Possible then the others on stage while Hanna slapped their hands when it came to her turn causing various adults to wince when the child made contact.
XX
Monique smiled at her BFF and stated as the people up on the stage showed no signs yet of leaving, "Okay, I admit I was a jerk about Stoppable Kim."
"Moni we can all be jerks once in a while if provoked. You felt Ron provoked you, but I am sure he didn't mean it. I think you still need to corner him and talk it out like grownups at some point."
"Yeah, I should, but right now I wanna see Brick, he has to go back to college this weekend, he has to finish spring football."
Kim inquired, "Are you going to move right in with the big lug when you get to campus?"
"No GF, I think I'm gonna be in Macy Hall for my first semester. In my second semester if my grades are good, I think I will move off campus to Brick's apartment and set up keeping house if our relationship continues on the course it is on."
"What have your 'rents said 'Nique about your plans?", the red head queried her friend.
Monique blushed enough where Kim could see the red on the African American's cheeks, "I'll spring it on them after we come back from fall break next year. Like I said, if my grades are up, they shouldn't have a problem and they already accept Brick so it shouldn't surprise them. Are you sure your 'rents are okay with your choices now that they've had some time get used to the idea?"
Sigh, "Mom and Dad grudgingly accepted my life choices starting this summer Moni, so I know where you're coming from."
"I agree GF, we are essentially adults and have the right to say what happens with our bodies. When we get out of high school our choices are our choices."
The red head smiled, "I informed Mom and Dad what I was going to be doing and who I was going to be doing it with….oh I forgot to tell you; Eric as secured our enrollments into Cambridge. He told me right after Prom."
"Good for you Kim…."
"I think he finally made the decision because I was a little mad during prom."
"GF, you are going to get a first-class education. We should go out to celebrate.", Monique Jenkins offered as she glanced up on the stage and saw her BF starting to walk away from the group.
Kim grinned and suggested, "I see you're eying Brick, why don't you, me, Brick and Eric go somewhere after school for a bite to eat? I don't have to work tonight."
"I have the night off too; we can go on a double date GF."
Both girls giggled as Brick broke away from the group on stage and casually walked to the stairs.
The freckled former mascot scanned the front row and waited for Kim to get away from and indeed she was heading for the doors at the front of the auditorium. With a sigh he asked his sister, "Hanna ready to head home and get ready for a fun night at work?"
The raven-haired Asian girl clapped her hands.
Our hero then followed Brick Flagg to the stairs.
The couple embraced and kissed. Ron muttered, "Get a room, some of us haveta go do some things Flagg."
A laughing CSU QB gave Ron the 'number one' sign as the blond teen passed them.
Ron chuckled as he made his way to the door at the front of the auditorium, "Sis I don't ever wanna see you say hi to people that way."
(AN….Okay who caught it? That kernel of the plot is right there….no, not about the 'bird'.)
XX
Kim met her squeeze with a hug out in the hallway. "We have a double date tonight with Moni and Brick. You can make the decision on where we are going.", Kim told her boyfriend.
"Brick, Brick…oh the college football player. The Neanderthal? I suppose some place that serves raw meat would be appropriate don't you Kimberly?", 'Eric' joked.
"Actually no, anyway I am going to head to my locker and get my assignments for the weekend. Meet me there in a few minutes BF.", Kim ordered.
XX
After everyone else left the stage, Steve Barkin walked to the coaches' office in the varsity football locker room and plopped down in his chair and picked up the phone (which had an outside line so he could call out without having an operator listen in).
After he punched in the number the school administrator waited a moment and then asked, "Steve Barkin for Mister Wilmington….yes, I will wait."
Three minutes later:
"Steve, it's good to hear from you. How is the team looking for next year? Have you persuaded the guys that want to leave to stay?"
"Uh, no Sir and Stoppable just signed his papers to go to CSU.", Barkin informed the new head of the Middleton Athletic Boosters.
"Barkin, that is unacceptable. We need that punk kid and most of the others to repeat this year."
"Sir, I might be able to get some of the guys to reconsider, but I think we can kiss Stoppable goodbye."
"Again, this is completely unacceptable. I want that punk back in the program I do not care what it takes. I want his sister in the ER by tomorrow…."
"Sir, the police may get involved if we go this route. We have to watch our step and be careful when we take action of this type. This has worked for us in the past and I see no reason why it won't continue to do so if we are careful. I have some contacts in the county clerk's office and they might be able to make some changes and I can do some things here, but all of that may not work considering that CSU has already gotten hold of Stoppable's records. I need to talk to 'Hippy Alice' about that though."
"Steve, I promised my staff that they would see another state championship game with us in it next year. You do not want me to be unhappy with your efforts."
"Sir, I can only do what I can with the others. With Stoppable….he is determined to leave Middleton High if he graduates or not. He has bought a place in Lowerton and is determined to live there. And then there is the matter of Colorado State University….they might squeal if we take their recruit away.", Barkin attempted to reign his new patron in before the situation escalates enough to cause law enforcement in.
"Shit. Steve, I need to talk to Rockwaller about using his goons to make Stoppable and the others see the light of day. Do you have his phone number, the last time I spoke with him he said he was deleting all of his contacts so that he wouldn't get in the way of how I was going to run the association."
"Sir, I have his number.", Barkin informed the new head of the association as he hoped the hot head he was speaking with wasn't going to burn everything down because of his ego.
"Good, I need to call him and get those punks back in line before we have nothing to fight with this fall."
Steve Barkin looked through his rolodex© until he found Jacob's number, "Sir, I have it, do you want to call him, or do you want me to make contact for you?"
"No, just give me the number Steve, this is between grownups."
"Yes Sir.", Steve Barkin responded as he read the number off his file.
XXX
"Jacob.", Chester started out not understanding that he had gone from one 'tapped' phone line to another, "This is Chester."
"Wilmington?", Rockwaller inquired (AN…Jacob knew his line was monitored), "What can I do for you?"
"I need some of your leg breakers Jacob, I need that Stoppable punk on the team in the fall and I need to make him see things my way."
"Uh, he just signed with CSU. My kid was at the assembly, they made a big deal about it at school.", Jacob informed his replacement as the head of the athletic boosters.
"I want him next year at school and I want to keep all those little assholes from going to other schools.", Chester confided.
"From what my sources have told me Chester, those transfers have already been approved and some of those students have already had their transcripts sent to the schools they are going to. It is too late to stop them."
"Damn…I need something, I need some of them who are graduating. I've decided to make an example out of Stoppable."
"I'm half afraid to ask, but how are you going to do that Chester?"
"Through his sister, that will get his attention when he ends up taking her to the hospital, which is why I called you. If I remember you had a way of keeping the players and their families in line. I want access to those guys. I will pay for services rendered you know."
"You plan to target an infant to get someone to play football illegally for you?", Jacob clarified.
"Well it's appropriate…."
"My daughter sometimes baby sits that child as well as her friends. I will not allow you to do something…."
"What about you? I heard stories about you leaning on kids."
"I did not target defenseless children….I would not target defenseless children. The boy maybe as long as they did no permanent harm to him, but not a baby Wilmington."
"Do you want me to call the consortium on this. You know they might shoot first and ask questions later. Your kid might get struck accidentally. It would be a shame…."
Sigh, "I get catch your drift Chester. Let me look through what's left of my contacts….I will tell you that if Bonnie gets hurt by this I will find you and they will need a new chairman of the boosters.", Jacob warned.
Chester Wilmington chuckled, "You really scare me Rockwaller. I'll wring my hands when I get time. I will call you if I need you."
"I hope I scare you Sir, now I will call you back with the names I can get hold of….but again, you hurt that baby too bad someone might drop a note to the new stations about this as a human interest story if you catch this drift PAL. I wouldn't be surprised if law enforcement doesn't start investigating you and maybe with some persuasion the Middleton athletics department. I kept is as clean as I could, but you are tearing that down." (AN….the author here is an old factory pipefitter and knows what 'PAL' really stands for.)
Jacob didn't slam the phone down, he just set it down in its cradle softly, then he picked it back up and dialed another number that he had memorized.
"I was just going to call you Jacob, we have a tape of the conversation. You did very well.", Special Agent Simon Ribbots praised the former head of the Middleton Athletic boosters.
"What should I do about this. Targeting a baby turns my stomach."
"Mine too, if you don't mind Paul and I can take it from here.", Simon offered, "This will be a sting. I have to get a warrant though and it will take a day or two, but after you call Wilmington back just tell him I will call within a day."
"Chester sounded impatient…"
"He did Jacob, but he should know that it might take a little bit of time to try and set something like this up out of the blue. I think he will be able to wait a day or two, but just in case I am also going to file for a wire tap on his home, business and cell. You wait a few minutes and then call him back and tell him that your contact is out of town for two days. That ought to pacify him long enough to get make sure everything is in place.", Ribbots instructed.
"Very well Sir, I will wait a few minutes to return his call."
X
"Yes Chester?"
"What do you have Jacob?"
"I was able to make contact, but the problem is that my person will not be back until Sunday night. I can give you a glowing recommendation of his work however. He gets the job done and no one can trace it back to us.", the former head of the athletic boosters seemed to brag.
"Will I call him then?"
"No Sir, he will call me to let me know he is back and then I will put him in touch with you. Is that feasible on your end?", Jacob inquired.
"As long as he is reliable and doesn't let anything fall back on me if this messes up, I can work with him. What is his name?"
"Are you sure you want to know his name Chester, this might end up getting messy and if you are caught in the middle then it would not only bring me down it will put you in jail as well."
"Maybe it is better if I do not know what his name is.", Chester admitted.
"That's what I thought too. I will have him call you when he gets in. It will take him a couple of days to check out the target. We have to be patient."
"Jacob as long as we can do it next weekend, I'll be happy. I want to send a message to everyone who is leaving that they can't hide from me."
XXX
"Hey Ron?", a friendly voice called out as our hero unlocked his mom's car.
With a smile, the blond teen waited, "Hey Dave, Liz how ya doing?"
"We were going out for something, you and munchkin wanna come with us?"
"I, uh, can't I have a shift and I haveta get home and refill Sis's diaper bag.", Ron responded.
Liz frowned, "You have not been going out at all Ron, you have to celebrate tonight."
"I have ta work Liz, I can meet you guys for dinner tomorrow though. I have the morning shift tomorrow which gets me off work about two. Me and Sis are a package deal though. If I go, she goes."
"Curt's and his Mel are coming too.", Dave announced, "Two Mad Dog backs are gonna be playing major college ball and the same university, that has to be some kind of record and we need to celebrate."
Ron looked down at the asphalt parking lot, "I miss him Dave….every damned day I miss Tank."
"We all do Ron.", Dave Alberts patted Ron on the shoulder.
Liz grinned, "I thought you weren't going to college Stoppable? I knew someone would talk some sense into your head."
"Doctor Possible did, he and some friends of his. Anyway, they said I might be able to make twice as much if I go to college."
"What are you going to major in?"
"Business management specializing in restaurants. I can also work on my culinary degree while doing so. They said I could make some moola working in the cafeteria during the year.", Ron informed them which he knew would also get the word out.
"Well, it sounds like you have it planned out Ron.", Dave grinned.
"Yeah, maybe. I'll rent out my place in Lowerton. I won't even be nineteen and I'll be a slum lord. I'll leave most of the stuff from the house in the storage locker. What I get out of my new place in Lowerton will do more than make up for the cost of the storage unit.", Ron explained.
Elizabeth frowned, "Your stuff won't be any good after four years in storage…."
"There's too much stuff to put it anywhere else. I was gonna furnish the villa with it, but since I won't have the villa now….and, sigh, I don't wanna sell Mom and Dad's stuff. I just can't do that. With where it looks like me and the munchkin are moving to, I won't need much. They don't have dining rooms and they have small bedrooms or at least that's what Brick told me."
Liz looked puzzled, "How does Brick know?"
"Well, we're gonna be living in the same complex….not the same building, but the same complex. They have about three hundred units there. Me and the rug rat are gonna be in unit 2346. Brick's gonna be in 2161 they're in different buildings according to what the coach said."
"What kind of buildings are these Stoppable?"
Ron explained, "Well they're for older students or students with families. Brick's older, I have a family."
"I can see that Ron; we will call you tomorrow about when we want to meet. Have a good night at the diner.", Dave told his friend.
"Yeah the diner, Mac is doing this 'I told you so' thing….damn no wonder he was in the Marines. It's so annoying."
Dave and Liz walked away hand in hand as Ron unlocked the doors to his Mom's car and put Hanna in her seat in the back. Before he fastened her in he put the diaper bag in with her.
The blond teen half smiled to himself as he started up the silver colored all-wheel drive sedan.
Twenty minutes later:
"Come on Sis, let's get you a bath then some dinner. Wheels and Zita are coming to the diner tonight and I haveta get a move on."
X
An hour later:
The blond running back entered the Jarhead Diner and exclaimed with a laugh, "Swivel Hips Stoppable is in the house Nancy."
"Congrats Hippie.", Mac's daughter chuckled, "Dad had the signing on the radio. The whole place was listening. You're a celeb now."
Ron rolled his eyes as he walked past her and into the kitchen. "Hey Mac, sit down for a while.", Ron suggested as he set Hanna in the provided highchair and then proceeded to get an apron out of the bin and put it on.
"So, you finally signed huh?"
"Yeah, I thought you were gonna beat me up if I didn't.", Ron looked at the tickets and went to the sink to wash his hands then began to make the orders up.
"I shoulda, but you might clock an old man like me.", Gunny leaned on Ron's shoulder, "Will you be available to work summers. I can find a place for you and the kid to stay."
"Okay, but I don't know what CSU's training schedule is over the summer. I'd have to find out for sure. I do know they are gonna want me to check out the school, set up a major and check into me and Sis's new digs.", Ron informed his boss.
"When are you going to go over there to check it out Ron?"
Sigh, "I guess the week after graduation. Like I said, I don't know when yet, but I think it's going to take a couple of days to go through everything. Anyway, what are you still doing here. I have it for a while Mac."
The boss removed his apron and picked up the toddler and grabbed the diaper bag. He sniffed, "I'll take the brains of your family up to see the wife. We got a new Flippies© video."
Ron looked over his shoulder, "Sis, keep Mac outta trouble would ya, oh and make sure he drinks his Ovaltine©."
Mac responded, "If they made that stuff Whiskey flavored, they'd sell a lot more of it Sidekick."
"The sidekick's days of savin the world are numbered boss, Kim Possible's gonna be in England with her squeeze and said sidekick is gonna be busy in college, playin football and getting his knees screwed up for the rest of his short deplorable life while raising the munchkin."
Mac laughed, "You need to get laid."
"No thanks, don't need that either and whatever you do, and don't try to set me up, okay? I've got too much crap on my hands for the next twenty years or so and I don't need that problem to complicate my life further."
"And what are you gonna do when that Possible girl wants one of those kind of relationships with you once she figures out how screwed up she made things?"
"She has a boyfriend; she can keep her boyfriend. If she wants to meet someone, I will do my best to introduce her, but she is out of my life when school starts up…."
"Yeah, just like you said you weren't gonna play football anymore….."
"Sarge?", Ron's tone hardened has he began to pile the food on the plates.
"Yeah?", Mac replied as he stopped at the doorway.
The sidekick's voice lowered to almost a whisper, "I won't be playing football in the fall I don't care what you hear."
The former Marine lowered his voice as well, "What the hell is going on then?"
Ron explained as he glanced around, "You can't tell anyone….if you do someone could lose their life."
"I can keep secrets, I am a Marine.", Gunny didn't push his chest out, but was more than proud of his time in the service and the men and women he served with.
Ron called out loudly, "Table fourteen up."
The teen then continued, "Very well, I'm not supposed to tell but I work here and you need to know anyway; it's true CSU wants me and the recruitment is valid….however, you know something is going on with football in Colorado. (Gunny nodded.) Well, the feds heard about it and they are investigating to see if there was a case. They had word from somebody that Middleton High was gonna screw with my grades and try to force me to stay after my graduation date."
"Aint that illegal?"
"I can play till I turn nineteen, but you know there is no post graduate work in high school like there is in college. You earn your credits and GPA and then you leave after you get enough credits which takes four years. I will have mine at graduation, the only thing left to consider is the grade point. They want to see if people are screwing that up and how….I am the designated guinea pig and only you, me, Doc Pea and Wade know this is going on outside of the FBI, my lawyer doesn't even know. I don't even want to know how they got a major college to go in on this. So they are forcing the issue and the FBI made sure there was a big deal about me signing today to see if someone is gonna take action against me…."
"Dammit, they aren't supposed to put kids in any kind of danger….you have a sister."
"Yeah…."
"You need a piece? I have extra… and I know that you can use them…after what you did to those robbers…."
Sigh, "A gun? (Mac nodded) If I start pulling out guns and they might start pulling out guns. Hanna isn't bullet proof. I want her to be safe and since they might come after me, I don't want them carrying guns to get my attention. The guys watching over this may not be fast enough."
"I hear your concern Son, be careful though. I don't want to see this blow up in your face."
"Yeah, my Japanese friends are not gonna be happy about this. They like Sis and there's a chance they could be pissed at me over this."
"Like I said take care, I'm gonna get some rest while the Missus watches over the munchkin. Are you sure you're ready?"
Ron rolled his eyes then pointed towards the door.
Nancy laughed as she spindled three more orders and yelled, "Move it sidekick, you've got work to do. People are hungry out here."
X
The Latina asked the waitress, "If Ron Stoppable isn't busy see if he can come out…it's Zita and Felix along with Tara and Josh."
"You are friends with Ron?", Nancy inquired.
Felix nodded, "He lives at my place until he either goes off to college or moves into his place in Lowerton."
Josh nodded, "Why didn't your mom tell us before today that Ron was going to play at Colorado State Tara?"
The platinum blonde shrugged as Felix announced, "Ron had heard they were thinking about recruiting him, but since he didn't hear anything he didn't know. Until this morning he still didn't confirm it. I don't know who talked him into it so fast."
