And welcome back everyone. This chapter marks the halfway point in book 2 although I might have to write a chapter 99, but everything is on track to finish in chapter 98. Yeah, I know it's a little long in the tooth, but it is what it is.
I want to thank everyone who has read, faved, followed, alerted and/or reviewed this tale. Speaking of reviews this is where I get to answer some questions. So here we go: CB73, people are starting to ask questions and that is one thing Eric does not want. Kim will find out in chapter 98….I just wrote it. Sensei is leaving Ron flapping in the breeze; Gj agent, does finding out about Stoppable's moohla equate to getting their hands on it? Two months?
Again, I want to thank CajunBear73 (who betaed this chapter) for all the work he has done over the years. The next chapter will be edited by Jimmy1201….ya know I think Jimmy does this so he can see the chapters way in advance.
Let's get this one on the road,

The Hunter: Book Two
Chapter 49
Sunday:
"Hey Mac, how are ya hanging?", Ron Stoppable yawned his question, as he was basically exhausted, having been called in about six hours after he and Hanna returned to the Renton home from dinner with Dave, Liz, Curt and Melissa.
Mac picked an apron up off the shelf and put it on, "Thanks for coming in kid, me and the wife had to go out to Denver. How do you feel…I'm sorry that you got caught like that…"
"It's not like I was doing anything important, like sleeping. I had to study so I was up anyway…well just got to bed. Hanna didn't wake up though, so that's a plus. I took her into the nursery at the hospital.", the blond teen responded as he slapped bacon on the grill for six BLTs someone ordered, then placed the bread into the toaster.
"I thought you were going right to bed after you got home…"
"I was but I was invited out to an early dinner by some friends and by the time I got out of there I figured I'd work on some homework for a while, then hit the rack…I got about everything done on the homework end of it, just didn't get the sleep part in.", the blond teen yawned again continued, "When I go to sleep tonight, I doubt if anyone will be able to wake me up till tomorrow."
"Ahhhh, I remember those long duty hours even when we weren't in combat zones. It makes me feel young again.", the old, retired Gunnery Sergeant thought out loud.
"Don't worry about it, Mac, I'll live. Just think of it as training for going to college and not sleeping for half a week because all your instructors want papers done at the same time."
"I did two years of college, give me a machine gun nest to charge any day."
"Not sure I wanna do that Mac. Why don't you work ahead while I cover for a while, then you can take over.", Ron suggested.
"How busy was your screwed-up shift, Ron?"
"It went crazy right after you left and was continuous for until about three this morning, and then we had the normal early and late breakfast crowd, then we've had a busy lunch.", the blond teen explained as he flipped the bacon. Moments later the toast was done, and Ron removed the pieces and then dressed them for the sandwiches.
Then he stepped over to the soup and used a spoon from a drying rack and tasted it. The blond teen added some oregano and two cups of water.
He then hurried over to the dishwasher and raised the doors, pulled a tray of dishes out, slid a tray of flatware in, slapped the doors down after tossing in a packet of soap and then hit 'cycle'.
"Damn Stoppable, you are too good at that. Have you had a break yet?"
"About three, for I think, seven minutes Mac, but I had to use the can once too."
"Shit, I need more help in this hellhole."
Ron snorted, "Stoppable's own circle of hell, where he is cooking people's souls for Lucifer…That will be my lot in the afterlife. I expect the dishes are gonna be extra cruddy, but you can do them if you want."
"Only you would think of something like that, Stoppable."
Seeing the bacon done he used his spatula, removed enough for the six sandwiches and placed them where the grease would drain off into a container.
Nancy came up to the window and spindled three more tickets.
Ron grinned and called out, "Table seven will be up in a minute."
He then finished building the BLTs, added the fries and salads, then shouted, "Seven UP!"
Ron then got out two bowls and filled them with soup.
He then up them in the window and shouted, "Table ten UP!"
"Ron, you are doing great, but you can take a little time…"
"Mom always told me that one way to make sure I didn't starve was to become a short order cook. I did her one better and became a childhood chef, but since I have no paper saying I'm a chef I am a cook plain and simple.", the blond teen responded as he grabbed the tickets and set them up and began to read through the orders.
The teen grabbed three bowls and filled them with salads then added the appropriate dressings then grabbed two more bowls and filled them with soup. He placed them in the window and called out, "Table three!"

The FBI agent punched in the number that he was given.
"Mister Wilmington?"
"Yes."
"It is nice to speak with you. Getting to the point, I got your number from an acquaintance of mine, he said you needed a little job done that is within my skill set. I wasn't expecting a job from him since he retired you understand.", Agent Ribbots said.
"I do.", Chester responded.
"I need to know the specifics; this is confidential you understand. I don't know you and you don't know me. This could get a little messy and you would be wise not to speak of it to anyone."
"How do I refer to you?", Chester inquired.
"You can call me Cy, Mister Wilmington. I do not want you to know my real name, you understand.
"I understand, plausible deniability. Very well, this is what I want…"

Three hours later:
"Come on Sis, let's go on the swings.", the blond teen yawned as he picked Hanna Stoppable up from her car seat and locked the closed door.
X
A man sat near the teen and baby. "Pretty child Son, what's her name?", the man inquired as Ron was feeding Hanna milk from her sippy cup while he glanced around to see if anyone was paying attention to the three of them.
"Hanna, she's my adopted sister.", Ron explained at a normal volume then lowered his voice, "What are you doing here?"
"Laugh.", Agent Ribbots ordered.
Ron began to chuckle then glanced around him, "What the hell is going on?"
"Someone just put a 'hit' on your sister."
The former Mad Dog of Middleton High couldn't help his eyes from narrowing when the FBI guy slapped his own knee then said lowly, "Nothing is going to happen, they contracted me for the hit so the baby is safe. I heard you were pretty good with makeup, can you come up with something that looks like a cast for a leg and maybe an arm?"
"Yeah."
"Make one up to fit your sister, I want to make it look like she had an accident. Who is your sister's doctor?"
"Doc Metz…over on Pickle Works Road.", Ron replied.
"Good, I need you to go on a fake visit to see him, show up tomorrow…afternoon. But before school gets out, I want people to know that you are leaving for a doctor's appointment. I will handle it from there, but she is going into the doctor's office tomorrow afternoon, we have to have a reason for her to be there."
"Agent, what is going on?"
"I think certain somebodies were spooked by your upcoming college experience and decided to take drastic action to try and force you to stay in high school.", Ribbots explained, "They have moved faster than I would have thought, though."
"As long as nothing happens to Hanna…You may not believe it, but I can make people disappear if I am provoked."
"You're a kid, don't threaten them. They may act out."
"Retribution shall be mine sayeth the Lord, and since he is busy looking after the whole universe, I won't lose any sleep if I have to do it myself. It won't be a threat; it will be a promise. If you happen to lose track of one of those ass wipes, don't bother looking for them, if they hurt Hanna, cause you'll never find them cause they'll be erased.", Ron promised, then paused for a moment, "Dealing with villains and having been one myself, I have insight on how their brains work and I know how to scare them and deal with them." Then the teen laughed into the air as he picked up his sister and asked loudly, "You wanna go on the circlely thingie, sis?"
Hanna clapped her hands in glee and squealed.
Ron muttered to the FBI agent, "I'll have her at the doctor's office tomorrow…afternoon, it gives me a reason to leave school early."
"She'll be at the hospital nursery tomorrow?"
"Yeah."
"Better tell them she has an appointment for a checkup and shots then when you drop her off. They will just find out that she might have fallen at the hospital or at the doctor's office, we need witnesses. We'll take care of the hard stuff. Do you need a note to get out of class?"
"I'm my own parent, the school and I already hashed that out or at least I hope so. I don't think Barkin wants to go down that road again since my lawyer ate his ass out. And with him being a member of the school board, he has Stevie's attention for the moment."
"Good remind me never to get on your bad side…Oh make sure you bring the casts tomorrow or your sister will have real ones, well excuse me and make sure that your sister is at the doctor's office, she slipped on the way there and hurt herself at the hospital or the doctor's office like I said. If the staff there makes a scene, I will take care of any problems."
"Yeah, but with all the accidents Sis has had people might start looking. Eric dropped her a while back and then tried to blame me while I was at a funeral.", Ron told the 'G' man.
"Funeral?"
"Yeah, Tank Woodson, he was working at his convenient store when some dude robbed and murdered him. My friend was murdered in cold blood. The local cops have the film from the gas station, but the guy was wearing a mask.", Ron explained.
"Did the locals get anything they can use?"
Sighing, "No, and of course I'm a little twitchy about that since Mom was murdered in the hospital a while back."
"I skimmed through the report, what do you think of it?"
Ron thought for a moment, "Mom never made any enemies as far as I know, Tank had a few guys that weren't happy with him with football and business, but don't we all?"
"We are going to run a deep investigation into those deaths, they might be connected.", Agent Ribbots promised.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be at the Hanna's doctor's office sometime after lunch…"
"Get in there at one thirty. I am sure you will get in without having to wait long."
Ron muttered before he turned away, "Must be nice leaning on people for a living."
Ribbots chuckled back as he rose and began to walk away, "It is sometimes, it's even better when you arrest them and read them their rights. It's even better when they don't wanna talk. I just toss them in a cell and wait, I'm a patient man."

The Ranch:
Otto held a glass of beir out to Micky Robertson, "Have you been able to find out anything more about the boy's finances, my friend?"
"No Otto, except for the insurance money the kid appears to have a low-end job. He, of course, now has that American Football scholarship, but that isn't real money. The school offers an education in exchange for playing a sport for them which they can cash in on by selling tickets to their matches. It is a good deal for them.", Micky explained.
"So, is there any way that we can get our hands on the insurance money?", Otto asked.
"Not without killing the idiot and his sister, but then we'd have to be his beneficiaries. And, since Hans is on Stoppable's shitlist, we cannot count on that."
"How about the heroine? Said idiot used to have a thing for her.", Otto said after he took a sip if his beir.
"Sure, if he was more of an idiot than anyone I have met, he might have ensured her future, but I don't think that is the case. She dropped him and she left him to die in that storm. That kid isn't that stupid though our lives would be a lot better if he is."
Otto frowned, "Hans is infatuated over the idiot's supposed hidden assets. One of my questions is, if he had money laying around, why was he working a dead-end job for Martin Smarty cleaning out animal cages and arranging shelves? That is a beginning job, not something for a millionaire to be doing. Now he is working as a short order cook to seemingly make ends meet."
"Otto, the guy I work for at the office is a friend of the kid's old man. He has never mentioned anything to me or anyone else in the office, as far as I can tell, of the kid having millions of dollars tucked away somewhere.", Robertson pointed out.
The old German frowned, "That money did not just disappear like the Templar treasure did, someone has to know where it is. The kid has to know…or that blue villain did get all the money."
"But Otto, why would the kid need a scholarship to go to college? And if he has that much money, why does he even need to go to college? Why not buy an island somewhere and just disappear? If the clown had that much cash, he could easily get a girlfriend, or friends, and if he swung the other way, he could find some plaything. His parents wouldn't be looking over his shoulder because they are six feet under. All he would need are some servants to cook, clean, take care of the kid and maintain where he decided to live.", Micky pointed out as he set his glass down on a coaster.
"Are you sure of the amount, Micky?"
"Yes, it was in a magazine I was reading through in the office. I asked Marvin Klein."
"Klein?"
"That is the owner's name and he is a friend of the kid's dad. The two men went to college together. Both families were close enough to go out to dinner a few times a year.", Micky explained, "I am sure that if anyone knew where the money ended up, he would, and he has never said anything about it even when I bought him a few beers and listened to his sob story about his friends dying. He might have had a heart attack if I told him we were behind the deaths of the kid's parents. Though come to think of it, I might send him a letter once we leave town and are hidden."
"If you did and he believed you he might call the police, at least on the mother's case.", Otto warned.
"I would just say I was off my medications, Otto."
"No, we will have our tech guys look into the kid's money and where it is. If we can get access to it then we will be better off this time next year.", Otto told his compatriot as he picked up his glass and took another sip.

Club Banana:
Kim stood at the cash register and calmly rang up the items as Monique (who was helping the girl customer) stated, "Make sure you give Alice ten percent off of this items Kim, this is her first purchase."
The red head smiled, "First time customer discount already entered Monique, and does Alice want to apply for the CB card? Doing so will allow her to get ten percent off on follow up purchases."
Recognizing the red head in front of her, Alice asked Kim, "Do you have a CB card?"
The heroine grinned, "CB 'Gold' card. When you have been a customer for four years you can apply for that. It gives you an extra ten percent."
"Four years? You've been shopping here that long?", the customer inquired.
Kim responded, "Over that four years I have worn CB's top fashions all over the world. I think that Club Banana as gotten some free advertising from my work in that time while helping people."
"Kim Possible?", the blonde girl asked wide-eyed.
Monique giggled, "You got that one girl, we were lucky that she wears CB gear even on most of her missions, but she wears the casual stuff for normal everyday apparel. She has even used our gowns for prom."
Alice blushed, "Can I get your autograph….please?"
Kim laughed, "As long as it's not on a check, sure."
Alice produced a note pad out of her purse and while Kim began writing the younger blonde asked, "You know that guy that runs around with you?"
Monique looked confused, "Huh? Eric?"
"Yeah, the blond guy with freckles."
Kim frowned knowing who she was asking about, but wanting to be sure, "He carries a pink rodent with him?"
"Yeah, that's him. I'd like to talk to him."
Monique looked up at the ceiling as she didn't want to get in the middle of this since Kim obviously and maybe subconsciously still had some for feelings for the blond goofball who seemed to pop up in conversations almost all the time.
"Uh, you're talking about Ron Stoppable, and not Eric." Sigh, "I'm dating Eric Thornbottom, and uh, Ron….Ron Stoppable is my best friend since like we were four."
"Good. So, you do know how to get hold of him, can I get his phone number?", Alice asked as her features brightened.
"Well Ron has a busy work schedule and school schedule, he uh, doesn't date or hasn't so far. There were girls falling all over themselves to try and get him to come to the prom and he just stayed home with his sister.", Kim explained.
"His sister? He was babysitting her?"
Kim told the girl, "Uh, Ron's parents died this winter and he is raising her as her guardian. She's a year old. Right now, they are staying at a friends' place until their place is finished in Lowerton. Ron has to work all the time to because they have to eat, you know."
Alice's smile just got freaking immense, "Ron is moving to Lowerton? Cool, that's where I live. This is going to work out pretty good for me…"
Monique rolled her eyes as she perceived this was getting out of hand and wanted to warned the blonde about the boy in question, "Ron Stoppable just accepted a four-year scholarship to play football at Colorado State, Alice. He won't be living in Lowerton except for the summers."
The girl almost squealed, "He got a football scholarship? That is so cool, Kim. Raising a sister is not a deal breaker either and neither is working a lot."
Kim looked up at the sprinkler heads on the ceiling while she grumbled, "What we are trying to tell you Alice is that Ron would be very high maintenance, there are much better options for you to pursue."
"Kim, I am very interested in Ron. I've heard there are other girls who have seen him play football who are interested in him as well. There is one girl, Sue Mactavish, from Mountain Side who wants to bed him, and I wanted to be there first. I think the guy is a real hottie."
"I don't know about that, but Ron's first priority is his sister."
Monique giggled to diffuse the sitch and suggested, "You might wanna cool your heels a little girl, that goofball you're so infatuated with does some pretty dangerous things with Kim here and while she's pretty good at avoiding getting decked, the rest of us are not bulletproof. But we….she and I….and I mean Kim and I were on one of those missions of hers last winter and I can tell you things got out of hand pretty fast….they captured and stripped us. Some dudes came in and had to rescue us. The perps were auctioning us off as slave girls. That is way I am not going on one of those again. And if it can happen to Kim-freaking-Possible, a teen heroine, what might happen to the sidekick who follows her around? Kim is in a class by herself while Stoppable just isn't."
Alice inquired, "Stripped? Like naked? You mean literally stripped?"
"We were given overalls to put on, but Kim was knocked out and I had to dress her in front of those guys. Those guys got a pretty good view while I was dressing Kim here. I don't want that kind of experience again. We were both completely naked for maybe twenty minutes."
Kim blushed deeply, "According to Moni and a group I worked with, some guys came and rescued us…"
Monique added, "I only saw two of them, but they got us out of there. I was scared more than any other time in my life. That was my last experience going up against bad guys. We found out later that everyone was killed on that island…someone took them all out and murdered them."
"We don't know if it was cold blooded murder 'Nique,", Kim argued, "they had guns and were prepared to use them. I mean, I was knocked out…so, I don't know what happened except for Monique telling me."
Alice frowned as she wondered if this was all bull hockey, "You sure lead an interesting life Kim…"
Monique argued, "Interesting is one thing, being dunked in a vat of acid is something else."
"Acid?", the blonde inquired.
Monique informed the wide eyed blonde, "We were in a stainless-steel cage suspended over a vat of acid when we were rescued by two guys in black. They were dressed like ninjas or how I think ninjas would be dressed. One of the bad guys tried to dunk us but one of the guys in black destroyed the thing that lowered the cage. Then this other guy climbs up the chain the cage was attached to and cut the supports and we came down. Then they took turns carrying Kim after they called for a hover jet to rescue us."
"Who were they?", Alice queried.
Monique responded, "They didn't tell us their names, but it seems that they came from that same school in Japan where Ron was going to school. He gave them his Kimmunicator so they could talk to Wade."
"Wade?"
"My tech guy, we each have a communications device.", Kim explained as she showed her wrist unit.
"And Ron has one of those?"
"Uh, Ron has an older style unit…"
"So, Ron could have been one of the guys who rescued you?", Alice asked.
Kim snorted, "Ron? No, I don't think that Ron can do what Monique saw. Ron's better than he used to be, but not at that level. Those guys had to have been mercs."
"Mercs?"
The red head clarified, "Mercenaries. they work for countries and organizations. They hire themselves out, I don't care much for them."
"I will think about everything you told me about Ron, but I would still like to have his phone number.", Alice insisted.
Kim rolled her eyes and pushed the 'connect' button on her wrist unit. Moments later Wade's hologram image came up and hovered over her wrist.
"Hey, what's up, Kim?", the genius asked.
"The blonde girl standing here is named Alice, she would like Ron's cell number."
"Ron's cell? He usually doesn't just give that out. Well, she doesn't look dangerous. Alice what is your last name? I am Wade Load."
"Alice Hammers…from Lowerton."
All girls could hear typing when Wade finally came up there was a number flashing under his face. "Is that your number?", the genius inquired.
"Y…yeah…How did you get that? It's unlisted."
The genius grinned. "I am Wade Load, that's how. Lemme see, Alice here is a junior at Lowerton high school, on the debate team and one of the flag girls in the marching band. Your Dad is a construction engineer, your Mom is the head of advertising for KLBZ a local radio station. Okay, you look harmless enough, I will give you Ron's number and him yours. My friend is a very busy guy. If you guys are well to do, why do you live in Lowerton?", Wade inquired then added, "I ask those questions because of Kim's foes, they have tried to trap her before to stop her from doing her crimefighting."
"Yeah, they just told me about a mission she and Monique were on. Anyway, to answer your question; mom's job is why we live there it's convenient, sometimes Dad needs to travel for various projects so he just hits the airport.", the blonde teen responded to the question.
Wade nodded and began to type, and Ron's number came up, "Copy this down. Good luck to you. Ron needs someone to talk to, but do not be surprised if he doesn't get right back to you, it's just how busy he is."
After she did, she said to them, "Thanks Mister smart guy, thanks Kim. I'll call Ron later." The blonde almost bounced out of the store.
Wade was chuckling, "I think Ron's life just got a little more interesting."
Kim frowned, "Wade, I want a deep scan on 'Alice', her family and friends. People just don't come out of the blue and want to meet Ron, he's just not the type who attracts pretty girls."
Monique rolled her eyes upon hearing this.
Wade, however, countered, "Just like Eric and you. He came out of nowhere."
"Wade, I vetted him.", Kim reminded her tech guy.
"Yes Kim, you did although neither Ron nor I did. Have you met his family yet? Now, I'm like Ron in this…He and I made a pact not to interfere into your personal life and that's what we've tried to do as long as you stay out of his. Even if you weren't allergic to him, he told me he was going to back away to give you and Eric time and space to develop your feelings and he has done that. Even before his parents died, we had made that decision last fall when you and Eric started dating.", the genius informed her, "Of course, with Eric suing Stoppables' estate and taking their home does not endear Ron to him, and ergo, you because you and Eric are almost joined at the hip. I can see Ron's point of view."
"Wade there isn't much I can do about that…"
Kim's tech guy continued, "Add to that, Eric dropped Hanna and then tried to blame Ron for being at fault later, paints him in the role of villain in Ron's eyes, Kim. GJ knows all this crap is going on, they have moved some of their surveillance devices to cover the Renton home."
"Watching the Renton home…good. I know that you're curious about Eric's maybe involvements, but sometimes accidents happen…"
"True Kim, accidents happen, but start adding things up. You mysteriously come down with an allergy to Ron when he wasn't even here. Before that you accidently left Ron stranded, and he ended up walking across a mountain range to get home…in a freaking blizzard…it took him days to get back, he still has nightmares about it. Then Eric ends up suing Ron for slipping on some ice out in front of his house before a funeral when he wasn't even invited. Later, he was babysitting Ron's sister and he drops her on the floor causing her to be admitted to the hospital…all these examples are just coincidences…are they? One of the things I have read on the internet is that if there are more than two incidents, they are not coincidences…, twice is a coincidence, but a third time is enemy action. It can look like they were done on purpose.", Wade ended his little speech that had been working on his mind for a couple of months.
"Waddddde…"
XX
Of course, the genius wasn't happy about Ron taking law into his own hands during the previous summer, but he understood the reasons Ron had done so and Yamanouchi's insistence on the continuing secrecy concerning Ron's training and the ninja school. He had wiped his servers the previous fall and only had some data left about the ninja school on computers that were not connected to outside sources, unless he connected them manually, then disconnected them once he was done.

The Ranch:
Hans sat down with his glass and inquired, "What was all that about Uncle?"
"Micky ran across an article about the kid's money from a couple of years ago, put two and two together to come up with six thousand.", Otto explained.
Hans asked for clarification, "The kid's money?"
"Remember when we ran that intel into your current girlfriend when we came across it in the files?", the older German inquired.
"Yes, if I remember, that Drakken fellow got the money and it all disappeared.", Hans replied after thinking for a moment.
"Yes, and remember what we thought the chances were that the blue idiot got it all, but it was pretty farfetched because it seemed like it went in a black hole?"
"Of course, but there was no more word on the money. The guys did a deep search…"
"Well, Micky thought, since his boss knew the kid's dad, that maybe he knew what happened to the cash. If it's in an account somewhere, he might know and maybe with some papers signed, we can get our hands on it and stash that money away in a safe place and make our lives even more comfortable."
Otto stared at his nephew as he watched the younger man's face as the wheels turned.
"Uncle, with that amount of money we can lay low a long time and then pick and choose our next job."
"Right, now if you remember I am going off with one of the men and scout for a new place to lay up for a couple of years.", Otto reminded Hans.
"Yes, I remember, Otto. Try not to be too long though, and make sure it is somewhere quiet and out of the way."
"You gave me enough money for a small island, nephew, do not be surprised if we end up there. We would have our own security and if we do a couple of jobs, we can install good sensors and secure getaways to make life easier for us."
"After this one is over, many of Kimberly's fans will want us with our feet over the fire, Otto." Then the arrogant 'teen' added, "And something like that would ruin our futures. Though in my estimation, we would be long gone even if we proclaimed everything we did to the heroine and all of the local authorities."
"Are you still planning on confessing the whole operation then, nephew?"
"Of course. How else to proclaim our superiority, then to advertise for future jobs, then to put it out there for public consumption. Maybe we would be able to persuade the world as to what we are capable of doing and blackmail them for us to stay out of their affairs and retire.", Hans thought out loud.
Otto coughed, "Blackmailing the world, Hans? I know when you were younger, I pushed you to think big, but the whole world?"
"If we get two dollars per person worldwide, we would never have to work again.", Hans grinned, "And it would be a bargain for them."
Otto inquired, "How many people do you think are on the planet?"
"I read it was about five billion, so that would give us ten billion tax free. We could buy a larger island…"
"What happened to Jones' Island, Hans?"
"A group of people attacked and killed all of them. Has anyone claimed responsibility yet?", the head of the 'Casanova' group queried.
Otto frowned, "It was either a coincidence or a reprisal for taking your girlfriend prisoner. I feel it was either highly trained mercenaries or a topflight special forces unit was involved. I think it was more of a coincidence, because mounting a rescue attempt with what had to have been at least special forces platoon, would have taken at least eight hours for them to be on scene. They would have had to know in advance that your girlfriend was in trouble. I could check my sources worldwide to see it there were any alerts. I'd have to do this before I leave on my trip to find an appropriate hidey hole for us for the next few years however, Hans."
Sigh, "Information is power, please check to see if there is anyone who knows anything.", Hans responded. It was a warm spring day and he wanted to work on his tan a little before his dinner date with the red head, "If there is any word that a group like that could be targeting us, it would best to be prepared."
The older German thought for a moment, "If there is someone out there who could be targeting us being on an island away from innocents, they may be an incentive to drop a special weapon on us…Of course, it would be an accidental release, you understand…A missile going off course or an accidental detonation of a nuclear or biological device. We would all be dead long before any word got out. Maybe buying an island just of the coast of a friendly country would nix that kind of response."
"How could we prevent this, Otto? There is a chance that they could find out where we end up, then take action." Hans now had a nervous twitch.
"If we are close to other people, they would have the chance to get a special ops team close to us, Hans. If they identify us and lock our location down to a parcel of land somewhere, then they can just cancel us out. We have made enemies lately. Though attacking an allied territory would have negative fall out for them.", Otto shrugged.
Hans frowned as he thought of his options (AN…and the utmost priority for the suave German was to stay alive), "An island with CBW (NBC got remained to Chemical, Biological Warfare since either of us went to Basic and AIT…) defenses on it should be a priority. Maybe the less hospitable location would be a better place. With good rock. We can tunnel and make a secure location. To take us out they would have to use a large bomb and that would not go unnoticed."
"I will start looking up islands that have those kinds of facilities Hans. I'd better have the guys start looking it up on the internet so I can get some ideas. But being close to an allied or friendly country might be our best bet. If we are away from a lot of people it would be easier to take us out."
XXX
"Patient man?", Ron said again as he got his sister out of her car seat.
The sidekick's Kimmunicator beeped. The teen pulled the communications device out of his pants pocket, "Yeah Wade?"
"A girl asked for your contact information…Well, she asked Kim and Monique at CB as she checked out, so I gave her your cell number.", the genius informed his friend.
"Thanks Wade, but you know I'm not in the market for any girlfriends right now."
"Well, she asked in front of Kim and I'd have to manufacture more lies than I already have and I'm just not good at it like you are."
"Damn. Okay, what's her name in case she calls?"
"Alice Hammers from Lowerton. Also, I caught that that Mctavish girl is still interested in you…"
"I don't need a girlfriend, let alone a harem, Wade. I don't have time for it.", Ron argued.
"I know what you mean, but better you than me Ron. If anything comes up, I'll call you."
"Thanks Wade, but it's bath time for Hanna. I just hope she doesn't have diaper rash."
XXXXX
Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Hanna, Wade Load, Monique and all the other 'canon' characters of the show 'Kim Possible' belong to Bob, Mark and the Disney Corporation and not me, CB73 or Jimmy1201. We just engage in this little hobby to take those characters out for some exercise now and again. Heck we don't even make any 'claude' off this hobby. Gee whiz.
We'll see ya down the road,
