44. Talk

Slipping her hands in his, Trevor moved across their room and they stood by the door.

"lets talk?" he said and closed the door behind her.

"Of course we can," she nodded as she turned back to him

"Come and sit down with me," he said, gesturing towards the settee as she walked over to it. Sitting down, she looked up at Trevor as he walked around to her and sat down beside her. "Firstly, I want to say how sorry I am for the way for they been treating you since all this happened".

"You know you don't need to say sorry to me," she said and looked up to study his face as her gaze remained downwards.

"I do," he nodded and she finally looked up at him. "You're my wife and they have been treating you badly when all you have been doing is loving me and being there for me but they have just been pushing you away and hurting you and trying to come between us and that is so wrong of them."

"I love you so so much Olivia, but again you don't need to apologise because no matter how many times they try to come between us or try to hurt us I will always be there for you when you need me," Trevor said softly as Olivia reached out to take his hand, "I'm not going anywhere."

"I know and that's one of the things I love about you," she nodded and closed her eyes as they filled with tears. Trying to compose herself.

Olivia nodded and watched as he looked back up at her. "I love you, you know?"

"I know you do," he nodded, "I love you too. And even though it's not much in a way of celebrating, but let's go back out to our family and friends."

"I know but let's stay in here for a while longer," Olivia nodded before moving to lay down on the settee and rested her head in Trevor's lap as he rested back in his seat.

"When you are feeling up to it we can go for a day out or weekend away to the beach," he said while putting his hand up to brush her hair back as she closed her eyes.

"That would be nice," she said softly as he continued to brush her hair back.

"Yeah, it would be," he agreed and they fell silent.
