Olivia was having an ultrasound to check on their baby girl when the door of her hospital room opened. Trevor came in, the smile fading as he saw the doctor. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just checking," Liv said. "The baby's fine right?"

"Yes, looks perfectly healthy," the doctor reassured, a smile on her face.

Olivia tore her eyes away from the screen and looked at Trevor. "That bag looks like it has books in it."

"Yes brought you some to read while your in here," he said, sitting next to her and kissing her hello. Olivia had a quick look through the bag and was pleased that he'd brought ones she likex.

"Right, I'll leave you to it Olivia," the doctor said. "Rest. Get some sleep."

"Thank you," Liv said. She waited until the door closed and then she looked at Trevor intensely. "What happened?"

"I didn't kill him."

"Start from the beginning," Liv said.

"Sonny came with me and i confronted him and told him to stay away forever abd to disappear from our lives forever and to never set foot in New York ever again because if he did i would shoot him myself and I'm not going to apologise."

"Oh Trevor…" she said?"

"Yes," he said. "I wouldn't have killed him because you asked me not to. But Liv…he could have made you lose our baby. He could have killed you. I'm not sorry."

"I don't know what to think," she said. "I don't know what I should think."

"Are you mad or angry with me?" he asked.

"No," she said quietly. "No I'm not." She sighed and closed her eyes. "I'd been thinking. I wasn't sure I could cope… knowing he might turn up and hurt her or me again once she's born. So no, I can't regret the fact. I just… wish it'd never happened. That he'd never hit me, that I'd never feared for my life, that there was no risk I might have lost our girl. I don't know Trevor."

"I can't be without you. Whatever happens." He sighed. Then he held her face gently, making her look at him, deep into his eyes. "I need you I love you."

She smiled and says" I love you too they stare in to each other's eyes for a moment and then she pulls him in for a deep and satisfying kiss. When they parted, their foreheads were touching and their eyes were closed. "Your nose is cold," Trevor said, making her laugh.

"For what it's worth, I need you too and so does our precious girl," she said quietly. He kissed her again and it was a long time before he stopped.
