Chapter 13: Harry Potter Year 1 part 3.
The group of three received their schedules the next morning finding their first class was Transfiguration followed by charms, lunch a free period and potions.
Luckily the three of them had help from the perfect to get to class on time. They did chuckle when McGonagall turned from a cat on the desk and back to human when Ron Weasley burst in late and said it was lucky McGonagall wasn't there scaring him even more when she mentioned turning him into a watch to be on time, and when he said he got lost she said perhaps a map. They saw how he ate all the way from the Ravenclaw table and was disgusted, as was the rest of those that made the mistake of sitting where they could see him.
"That was an interesting class." Tiny said as they left.
"We spent the second half trying to turn beetles into buttons." Dixie noted. "And you got it first with Hermione soon after."
"I have practice changing myself." Tiny shrugged with a smile.
"That is true." Hermione noted glad she is less competitive over her grades due to her time as a Kong.
With that they headed to charms class where they got another introduction before practicing the light charm.
"My eyes!' Everyone yelled when Dixie overloaded the spell and turned the small light into a blazing light that was so bright you could see it through the solid stone walls. Barely but you could.
This caused the entire class and teacher to go to the hospital wing to get their eyes fixed which with how many were there, and the damage to the eyes led to them missing lunch and half of a free period.
During free period they decided to go to the library to read up on potions. While there Tiny changed her fur color to different colors as practice which was noticed by a seventh year Hufflepuff girl with pink hair.
the girl was one of Tiny's cousins from the Black family and she's called Nymphadora "say my first name and die" Tonks "You're a Metamorphmagus too!" She said in excitement as her own hair changed colors. "Why didn't the games mention that."
"It is a recent development and the Metamorphmagus blood is diluted enough this is all i can do right now but once I hit puberty I'll be able to change me height and body figure." Tiny said.
"Pity." She said. "I'm Tonks. I don't like my first name so don't ask what it is." and she finishes by saying "that's the extent I am able to use myself."
"I'm Hermione, this is Dixie and the one you're talking too is Tiny." Hermione said before tilting her head. and asked "You know about the games? I thought Metamorphmagus are never from the muggle born, and they are the ones who mostly recognize us."
"My mum is a pure blood, but by dad is muggle born." Tonks shrugged and said "I grew up mostly in the muggle world."
They continued talking the rest of the free period before heading to potions where they noted Snape wasn't there yet and they had class with Hufflepuff which made since since they were told Gryffindor and Slytherin are usually paired up in classes. Still they looked at each other realizing what he was going to do.
Once everyone was seated and waiting for Snape they felt a chill as they saw the shadows reach out into a shape in front of the class that solidified into Professor Snape. This was due to the dramatic entrance potion Cranky made for Snape as friends.
Luckily since he no longer had the dark mark he could teach as he wished and started with potions safety for half the class before starting with a simple potion that Hermione did best in, followed by Dixie due and Tiny.
Afterwards they ate dinner and went to bed.
Ending AN: that's the chapter. sorry if it's a little too short but enjoy it all the same.
Next Time: a small time-skip to Halloween and since Tiny is already good friends with Hermione the target of Ronald Weasley's ridicule in the levitation charm class will be Lavender Brown.
