Chapter 2
(Fire Nation ship)
Naruto and Aang were flying towards a Fire Nation ship.
"Watch out!" Naruto yelled at Aang, as the Fire Nation ship fired some fireballs from some catapults, which they dodged.
"Follow me Aang, and be careful!" Naruto yelled, as they flew down towards the ship.
"I'm right behind ya" Aang said.
They both landed on the deck of the ship, and both attacked the crew with some air blasts, seeing some of them flying.
"Take out the catapults!" Aang yelled, as he deflected a fire blast from a soldier.
"On it" Naruto said, as he made a Wind Rasengan, and slammed it into one of the catapults, which completely destroyed it, while Aang went for a few of the other catapults.
A Fire Nation soldier with some hammers connected to chains glared at Naruto at this, and threw his hammers at Naruto.
Naruto jumped around it, and sent an air blast at the man. But he jumped back, and threw his hammers again at Naruto.
Will saw this, while she rode on Appa above them.
"Time to make a statement" Will said, as she jumped down towards the man with hammers.
She then flipped her body, and slammed her foot down on the floor as she landed in front of the man, making a big amount of white flames which destroyed the chains on his hammers, and sent the man flying into the side of the ship.
"What are you?" the man growled, as he glared at Will.
"A redhead with an axe to grind. So back off, or get burned" Will said, as she took a battle stance.
The man scowled at this, and raised his hammers to throw at her. But Will quickly fired a blast of white fire at his hands, burning them and making him drop his hammers as he screamed in pain.
Appa then flew down, and helped Aang destroy the last catapult on the ship.
"OK, we are done. Let's get going" Naruto said, as he and Aang took off with Will getting on Appa.
"Yip Yip!" Will yelled at Appa, which caused the Sky Bison to take off into the air with a groan.
The three benders then looked at the army of ships that was coming, and looked at each other.
"OK. If we are gonna actually make a dent, we need to split up" Naruto said.
Will nodded at this. "If you need backup, send an attack into the air" she said, as her and Appa flew towards a ship
Naruto and Aang both nodded, as they too chose a ship and each went after them.

(Hours later)
It was almost dusk when Naruto, Aang and Will finally returned to the water tribe palace.
Aang landed on the ground, and started to pant for breath while on his hands and knees.
"You guys okay?" Sokka asked them, as he, Yue and Katara ran over.
"Jeez, they just keep coming," Will said, as she climbed off of Appa.
"We must have taken out 50 ship's at least, but they still have more and more coming," Naruto said, as he stretched himself from all that fighting and flying about. When he took out the ships, he'd applied his wind chakra training to his staff, hands and feet when he did any wind blades which had allowed him to cut some of the ships he was on in half, along with slicing any soldiers that got in his way.
"You guys can't give up, you're our only hope," Yue said with a look of worry on her face.
Naruto frowned at this, and grabbed her hand. "Hey, don't worry. We aren't giving up" he said, as he looked into Yue's eyes.
Yue looked into Naruto's eyes, and blushed lightly at this, as she composed herself.
Will chuckled at this, finding this adorable to see.
"Do we have any other options?" Katara asked, hoping that someone had a plan.
Aang thought about this, and soon snapped his fingers. "I could try asking the Spirits for ideas," he said.
"Are you sure they will even care?" Naruto asked, as from what he has heard, the Spirits tended to not get involved with human affairs.
"The water and moon Spirits are closely connected to our tribe. I'm sure if you find them, they could help us" Yue said, causing Naruto to raise an eyebrow upon hearing this.
"Well, we have time to try this. Especially since now that night is here, the Fire Nation isn't gonna attack until morning" Naruto said.
Will scoffed at this, as she crossed her arms. "Punks" she said, as she found it pathetic that they refused to fight at night, when the moon was out, since this was when water benders were the most powerful.
"Know any place that has high spiritual energy?" Aang asked Yue
Yue nodded, and led them out of the area towards the back of the village.
Kurama ran after them, and jumped on Naruto's shoulder.
"Hey buddy, did you behave yourself?" Naruto asked him, as he rubbed his head.
"He attacked some Fire Nation troops that tried sneaking in," Yue said with a smile at Kurama, as she scratched his back.
"Yeah, he was pretty helpful," Sokka said with a nod. He'd been fighting a non bending soldier, while another one had been sneaking up behind him. And the soldier would have attacked him, but Kurama had appeared and stopped that from happening.
Will smiled at this. "Good boy" she said, as she threw a small piece of meat at Kurama, who caught it and chewed it.

(Later)
Naruto and the group soon approached what looked like a fancy door.
Kurama's hair stood up for a moment, as he jumped down off of Naruto's shoulder, and ran over to the door before he started pawing at the door.
"This is the most sacred area in the Northern Water tribe" Yue said, as she opened the door leading them inside.
They all saw what looked like an oasis, with ice walls all around it.
"Wow, this place is so warm," Katara said, as she and Yue took off their winter coats.
"Not only that, but this place feels so peaceful," Aang said, looking around.
"I think this place is very connected to the spirit world," Naruto said.
They all saw Kurama run over to the water in the oasis, and started to paw at the two fish in the water, who were swimming after each other in a circle.
Yue approached Kurama, and picked him up. "Now now, you can't do that" she said with a frown at the fox.
"OK. I'll meditate, and try to enter the spirit world. You wanna try it too?" Aang asked Naruto curiously.
"You think I could enter the spirit world?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Of course. You're obviously spiritually aware, so I bet you could do it if you tried" Aang said with a shrug.
"Oh please, Naruto could do it," Will said with a smile.
"Well, if we do this you all will have to guard our bodies," Naruto said. as he knew that if they entered the spirit world, then their body's would need protection.
"Leave it to us" Will said with a grin, as she put her arm around Katara's shoulder.
Naruto nodded at this, and sat next to Aang as he started to meditate next to him.
Naruto tried to focus on something that would make his mind calm, before he saw the koi fish and smiled lightly, as he liked how in sync they were.
As they swam close to each other and met as they resembled the Ying-Yang symbol, Naruto and Aang's eyes lit up, and started to glow
"Wow, that was quick," Will said with an impressed look.
"Are they gonna be ok?" Yue asked them, a look of concern on her face.
"Yea. As long as their bodies aren't moved, they will make it back to our world safely" Katara said, giving Yue a reassuring nod.
"Well, aren't you grown up" a male voice said.
Katara frowned, and looked at the entrance to the oasis. "You" she said with a glare.
Will and Yue looked over, and saw a teen boy with a ponytail and a burned scar on the right side of his face.
"Yes, me. Now, hand over the Avatar" the teen said as he approached them.
"Not happening Zuko" Katara said, as she took a stance.
"Same here" Will said, as she made white flames in her hands, which caused Zuko to stop at seeing this.
"If you think a parlor trick with your flames will scare me, it won't traitor" Zuko said to Will with a glare
"Ooooo, I'm so scared," Will said mockingly, as she pretended to shake in fear.
"You will show respect to the prince of the Fire Nation" Zuko said with a glare at her.
"Sorry, scar head, I'm not impressed. So you have two choices: walk away, or I scar your other eye, so that they match" Will said with a glare of her own.
Zuko glared at Will, and took a battle stance.
"Sokka, get Yue outta here" Will said, as she cracked her knuckles before taking her own battle stance.
Sokka nodded at this, and led Yue away from the oasis. "I'll try getting some help" he said, as the two of them went through the door.
"You sure you wanna do this. We have you outnumbered" Katara said, as the full moon shone down on them.
"I can handle two peasants, who have no training," Zuko said as he attacked.
Katara blocked the blast of fire with a water whip, and attacked Zuko who jumped back to avoid it.
Zuko scowled at Katara as he landed. "You little peasant. You found a master, didn't you?" he asked.
Will chose this time to fire a blast of white flames at Zuko, who barely dodged it by leaping to one side.
Zuko took a stance, as he kept his eyes on Will and Katara.
"Not bad. Who taught you?" Zuko asked Will.
"I learned the basics from people, who left your shit nation as they didn't approve of what was happening. Beyond that, I'm self taught" Will said with a shrug.
"Damn, a prodigy" Zuko thought, as he could tell Will had some natural talent. "It'll be interesting to see who would be stronger, her or Azula," he added to himself.
Will then noticed out of the corner of her eye that Kurama was sneaking up on Zuko.
"Tell me scar head, why are you so obsessed with capturing Aang?" Will asked, hoping to keep him distracted.
"I have to capture the Avatar, to restore my honor" Zuko said with a scowl.
Will quirked her eyebrow at this. "What'd you do to lose your honour? Treat someone like a human?" she asked curiously.
Zuko hesitated, but glared at Will.
Will's eyes widened at this. "Oh damn, I was kidding," she said.
"Why do you care?" Zuko asked her.
"Oh, I don't. I'm just distracting you" Will said with a smile.
Before Zuko could respond, Kurama's tail grabbed him and flipped him upside down, before he held him high above them.
"Wow. I thought we would have to actually fight" Katara said, surprised at how easily Kurama caught Zuko.
"Good boy. I owe you a big piece of meat" Will said with a smile at Kurama, who drooled at the idea of meat
"What is this? Some kind of spirit?" Zuko yelled, as he hung high above them from Kurama's stretched out tail.
"Nah. Kurama is just gifted, aren't you boy?" Will asked Kurama, as she pet him.
"Well, make him let me go!" Zuko demanded.
"You may want to choose your words better, hot head," Will said with a grin, as she folded her arms.
"Yea. If Kurama drops you, you will definitely break something" Katara said with a smile.
Kurama looked up at Zuko and grinned evilly, as if he was daring Zuko to give him an excuse to drop him.
At this moment, Aang and Naruto's eyes stopped glowing, and they returned to normal.
"Ah, your back. How was the spirit world?" Will asked Naruto.
"Very weird," Naruto said, as he stretched himself from sitting still for that long. He then looked up at Zuko. "Who's the guy with the bad attitude?" he asked, as he stood up.
"Zuko" Aang said with a frown, as he looked up at Zuko while standing up himself.
"The prince that's been after you? Wow, he followed you guys all the way to the north pole. He is either stubborn or stupid" Naruto said with a laugh.
"My money is on a mix of both," Will said.
Katara giggled at this. "That's mean" she said, as she tried to get her giggling under control.
"I am not stupid!" Zuko yelled in a rage.
"You tried fighting us without a plan, and all by yourself. That's pretty stupid if you ask me" Will said with a shrug.
"Well, he snuck all the way here and didn't get caught. So he has some talent" Naruto said, sounding impressed since as a ninja, he could respect stealth skills.
"Stop praising the enemy," Will said, giving Naruto a scowl.
"Yes dear," Naruto said with a nod.
"So, what did you find out from the spirit world? Did you find the moon and ocean spirits?" Katara said to them, hoping that they did.
Aang smiled at this, and looked at the Koi fish in the oasis. "Say hello to the ocean and moon Spirits" he said, as he pointed at the two fish.
"You're kidding me right," Will said in disbelief.
"No. We got it from some face stealing Spirit, and he didn't seem like a liar either. An asshole yes, but not a liar" Naruto said.
"Yea. Koh said that someone is planning to kill the moon Spirit" Aang said with concern on his face.
Will looked up at Zuko with a glare.
Zuko shook his head at this. "I had no intention of doing something like that. My uncle said the last thing I should ever do is mess with a spirit" he said.
"Smart man," Naruto said with a nod, wondering if he'll meet Zuko's uncle sometime in the future.
"Don't tell me you actually believe him," Katara said.
"He's only ever been after Aang, right? So he has no reason to lie" Naruto said, crossing his arms.
"Yea, and he has a thing about honor as well. So I believe him too" Will said with a nod.
"OK, I'm back with back - woah, you beat him that easily?" Sokka asked, as he arrived with Yue, Appa and Momo.
"Well technically, Kurama beat him didn't you boy?" Katara asked Kurama with a smile.
"You got Appa and Momo as backup?" Naruto asked, quirking an eyebrow.
Yue jumped down from Appa, and ran to hug Naruto. "Are you ok?" she asked him.
"Of course I am. Don't worry, I can handle Spirits" Naruto said, giving Yue a smile.
"So, what's the plan on what to do with him?" Sokka asked, pointing his thumb at Zuko.
Some guards soon came into the oasis.
"We are here princess" one of the guards said, bowing his head to Yue.
"See, now that is backup Sokka" Will said, pointing at the guards.
"I called them, while Sokka was getting Appa and Momo," Yue said.
"Smart and beautiful, just how I like my girlfriend," Naruto said with a smile.
Yue blushed slightly at this, but smiled at Naruto.
Kurama let Zuko down, and threw him at the guards feet.
Zuko growled, and did a spinning kick as he unleashed some flames, making a dome of fire.
Naruto and Aang made an air bubble that blocked them and the others from the flames.
When the flames dispersed, they saw Zuko was gone.
"OK, that guy definitely has potential as a ninja," Naruto said.
"Go after him!" Yue said to the guards, who bowed at Yue and left.
"So, what do we do now? Dawn is coming" Sokka asked.
"We stay here, and guard the koi fish" Naruto said, as he sat down and leaned against a rock.
"Huh?" Sokka asked in confusion.
"They are the moon and ocean spirits Sokka" Katara said, as she and the others found somewhere to sit.
Kurama walked over to the koi fish, and looked at them curiously.
"I don't think they are spirits, like you are familiar with buddy" Will said, as she and Yue sat next to Naruto.

(Later)
A few hours later, and Naruto and the others were all watching the door, waiting for someone to show up.
"I still don't like that you're here," Naruto said, looking at Yue.
"I'm not gonna let anyone attack the moon or ocean spirits," Yue said.
"Fine, but Kurama stays with you at all times" Naruto said, as he looked at Kurama who nodded and ran to Yue, before he jumped on her shoulder.
"If anyone even looks at her funny, I want you to go all medieval on them" Naruto said.
"Aww, you care about your fiance" Sokka said, teasingly.
"At least I have one," Naruto said back.
"Hey! I have Suki!" Sokka yelled.
"A possible girlfriend isn't a fiance, ponytail" Will said.
"I find it sweet," Katara said with a smile.
"Oh? You find sweetness attractive?" Will asked Katara with a cocked eyebrow.
"Oh yes. If I was gonna date someone, they had to be a good person" Katara said with a smile.
Naruto smirked as he looked at Aang, and subtly gave him a thumbs up.
"Hey Yue, can I talk to you privately?" Naruto asked her.
"Of course" Yue said, as he and Yue got up, before they walked towards the back of the oasis.
"What's wrong?" Yue asked Naruto.
Naruto smiled, and shook his head. "Nothing, I just have something for you" he said, as he took out what looked like a necklace. It had two different sides to it; with one side having a swirl on it, and the other side had what looked like Kurama but with nine tails.
Yue gasped, as she looked at the betrothal necklace and held it in her hands.
"Do you like it?" Naruto asked Yue.
"Of course I do," Yue said with a smile, as Naruto helped her put it on.
After Naruto finished putting it on Yue, she then turned to him and hugged him, and kissed him softly on the lips.
"I'm glad my work on that paid off" Naruto said, as they pulled apart and smiled at each other, while resting their foreheads on each other.
"Hey lovebirds! We have a situation!" Sokka yelled out.
"Way to ruin a moment, Sokka," Naruto said with a glare.
"We have activity outside the door. So save playing grab ass for later!" Will yelled out.
"Stay classy Will" Naruto said with a sigh, as Yue blushed brightly before they ran back to the group.
As they approached the others, they saw that the door was smoking.
"Get on Appa, and Kurama remember what I said" Naruto said to Yue.
Kurama nodded at him, as Yue climbed on Appa.
The doorway then exploded, with a ball of fire coming through.
They saw three komodo rhinos, with two soldiers on two of them holding a spear each and in the middle one was a man, who had a small top knot and a half beard with only his mouth and chin free, and connected with his hair. He was wearing a Fire Nation outfit, with what looked like an admiral badge on it.
"You know the door was open" Will said flatly, as she crossed her arms.
"Ah, the Avatar. We meet again, and now I can finally meet the rest of your group" the man said with a tone of arrogance.
"Zhao" Aang said with a frown.
"Admiral Zhao, to be exact" the man said, as he looked at the rest of Aang's group. "I see that you have some new friends that we have zero information on. Were they the ones helping you take out my feet?" he asked.
"That's us. Names Naruto; Airbender and proud pain in the ass of the fire nation" Naruto said, giving Zhao a glare.
"Ah, I see," Zhao said, as he held up two wanted posters, which had images of Naruto and Will. "We have heard of what you did at that Air Temple, along with the girl" as he looked over at Will.
"Names Will, Admiral dickhead" Will said, as she took a stance, wIth everyone else soon following suit.
"We have heard of your white flames. Such a shame you're a traitor to your nation" Zhao said, with a fake hurt tone and look.
"Your Fire Lord has nothing to offer her. So you have one chance; leave or we make you leave" Naruto said with a hard glare.
"I'm not scared of an almost extinct people," Zhao said, with a cocky smirk.
"You should be," Naruto said, as he spun his staff.
Zhao and his men charged at them on their komodo rhinos, with Zhao's men lowering their spears.
Will glared at them, as she shot her fingers at Zhao's rhino, and fired a bolt of lightning at it.
The bolt hit the rhino, which made it yell out in pain, as it reared up and threw Zhao off of him.
Sokka threw his boomerang at one soldier, hitting him in the hand and making him drop his spear.
Aang and Naruto attacked the second soldier, and sent him flying Into the other soldier.
Katara took this moment to bend a wave of water around the two soldiers, and trapped them in ice.
Zhao got up, and glared at them.
"Are you still feeling confident?" Naruto asked, giving Zhao a smirk with his arms crossed.
"I refuse to let you get in the way of my destiny" Zhao growled out, as he took a stance.
"Zhao!" an old man yelled, as he entered the oasis.
"General Iroh, why am I not surprised you turned traitor?" Zhao said with a sneer.
"I'm no traitor Zhao. The world needs the moon Spirit, not just the Water Tribe" Iroh siad, as he walked over.
"At least not everyone in your nation isn't a fool" Will said, giving Iroh a smile.
"It's your nation too girl!" Zhao yelled, upset as he was sick of Will's mouth.
Will shook her head at him. "Sorry General of Losers, but I have no plans to be part of a nation that seeks to destroy those that refuse to submit" Will told him.
Zhao growled at this, and fired a blast of fire at Will.
Naruto instantly jumped forward, and slammed a Rasengan into his stomach, sending him flying out of the open door.
"Well, that was just sad," Sokka said.
"This is all good. We still need to stop the Fire Nation" Katara said, as she wanted to get everyone moving to help stop the invasion.
Aang approached the pool, and looked at the koi fish as the black one looked at Aang, and started to glow as Aang's eyes glowed brightly.
Aang walked onto the water, and soon he submerged himself into the water.
"Looks like the ocean spirit wants to help," Naruto said.
They then heard some yelling from the Fire Nation from outside.
"Let's go watch the fire nation run like punks" Will said with a massive smile.
They all ran out of the oasis, and saw what looked like a giant koi fish made of water, and that Aang was in the middle of the mass of water, waving his arms as he bent a massive amount of water to attack the fleeing Fire Nation.
"Wow, the Avatar state is no joke," Naruto said with an impressed tone.
"And this is just him with one element" Will said with an impressed look.
"Yeah. Imagine what he'll be like once he masters the other two," Sokka added.
"He still has water to master. This is just him at full power" Katara said, slapping Sokka on the back of his head.
"It was nice to meet you children, but now I must go before I am captured" Iroh said, as he bowed to them.
"Stay safe old man," Will said with a smile, as they bowed back to him, with Katara having to slightly force Sokka to do it, who was reluctant to bow to someone from the Fire Nation.
Iroh chuckled at this, as he left.

(Fire Nation, Fire Lord's throne room)
Azula was in the throne room, bowing to her father, who had called her to see him.
"Iroh is a traitor, and your brother Zuko is a failure. I have a task for you daughter" Ozai said, looking down at her with a stern look.
Azula looked up at her father. "What do you require of me father?" she asked him.
"I need you to bring both Iroh and Zuko home. You are also to find the Avatar, and either capture him or kill him" he told her.
"And his friends?" Azula asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't care what you do. You are to leave immediately" Ozai said.
Azula nodded, as she turned and left the throne room. As she did, she looked at Naruto's wanted poster and smiled, as she could see in his eyes he was strong and this was just a sketch.

(A few days later)
Naruto and the others were all on the deck of a Water Tribe boat that was near the Earth Kingdom. They were all getting ready to leave on Appa, so that they could find Aang an EarthBending teacher.
"Are you doing ok Aang?" Naruto asked him, as he'd noticed that last night Aang had trouble sleeping.
"Yea, I'm fine. Just a nightmare last night, nothing to worry about" Aang said, waving his hand about.
"Oh yea, Katara mentioned that you were having nightmares about the Avatar state" Will said, placing some sacks of supplies on Appa's saddle.
"You talk about us?" Naruto asked with a quirked eyebrow.
"Women talk about that kind of thing all the time" Sokka said with a shrug.
"Oh, and what makes you such an expert?" Katara asked him, with a smirk.
"Back home, it was women and children. I know a little sis" Sokka said, giving her a smirk back.
"He's got you there," Naruto said with a chuckle.
"I'm just glad you women don't outnumber us in the group" Sokka said, as he gestured to Yue who climbed up onto Appa's saddle, wearing an outfit similar to Katara's, only with some white on it, along with some blue.
"Give it time. Naruto may attract other girls to join us" Will said with a giggle.
Yue blushed at this, as Will had already explained that Naruto will need multiple wives.
"OK, you all know where to head to next?" Pakku asked, as he stood before them with a sack in his hands.
"Yea. It's to some Earth Kingdom base, so they can escort us to Omashu right?" Will asked.
Aang smiled at this, as he was excited to see Bumi again.
Pakku handed Aang a box of Water Bending scrolls. "Those are so you can continue your training with Katara" he said to him.
Aang nodded in thanks to Pakku, as he got on Appa.
Pakku then handed Katara a necklace that had a vial on it. "This is water from the spirit oasis. It has some special properties, so it may come in handy" he said to her.
Katara took it, and nodded in thanks to Pakku as she followed Aang.
When Pakku got to Sokka, Sokka smiled thinking he was gonna get something cool. But Pakku just placed his hand on his shoulder, and said "Good luck Sokka" which left Sokka downtrodden, as he climbed on Appa.
Arnook approached Naruto. "I hope that you'll look after my daughter," he said to him.
"Don't worry sir, she's in capable hands" Naruto said, as he held his hand out.
Arnook gave him a smile, before clasping Naruto's forearm. He then looked up at Yue, and said "Though I'm sad to see you go, I know that it's for the best as it will help you grow into the woman I know you'll become."
Yue gave her father a smile and a nod, with a few tears appearing in her eyes. "Thank you father" she said, as she bowed her head slightly at him, who bowed his head in return. He then got on another boat, before heading back to the city.
"We'll be off to the South Pole, so that we can help our fellow water tribe rebuild " Pakku said to them, with a few other Water Benders standing with him.
"Until we meet again" Naruto said with a quick bow, as he climbed on Appa
Once everyone was on, Aang grabbed Appa's reins and yelled "Yip Yip!" which made Appa take off, as Katara waved at them while yelling "Say hi to Gran Gran for me.".
Naruto sat near Aang, and tapped him on the shoulder. "So you are scared of your power in the Avatar state?" he asked him.
Aang frowned at this, and looked at Naruto. "Am I that obvious?" he asked.
Naruto shook his head at this. "No, I understand being afraid of your own power, especially after what happened at the north pole," he told Aang.
"Yea, you actually sent an army running. So of course you're apprehensive of what you can do" Will said with a nod.
"I know I will most likely have to use this power again, but I'm afraid I may kill someone" Aang said
"Maybe you can ask Roku for advice," Naruto said with a shrug.
Aang's eyes widened at this. "That's a great idea!" he said with a smile.
"Go meditate then, I'll take care of Appa" Will said with a smile.
"You become buddies with Appa?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow, as she switched places with Aang.
"Yup. You're my fluffy buddy, aren't you?" Will asked Appa with a smile, who groaned in agreement.
Kurama looked up from his spot in Yue's lap at Will.
"We like you and Momo too," Yue said with a smile, as she pet Kurama.

Aang finally opened his eyes after finishing his meditation.
"Well, what did Roku tell you?" Katara asked, looking up from reading one of the Water Bending scrolls.
"He said the Avatar state is a defense mechanism, and that I shouldn't abuse it. Since it's also when I'm at my most vulnerable" Aang said.
"How's that?" Sokka asked curiously.
"He said that if I'm killed while I'm in the Avatar state, then the Avatar will cease to exist" Aang said.
"Woah. Then it's a big risk to use it then" Will said with wide eyes.
"Yea. If you go into that, you need to be absolutely sure you have someone covering your back" Naruto said, nodding in agreement.
Everyone nodded at this, as they soon saw a massive Earth Kingdom base.
"There it is," Aang said, as Will led Appa towards the base to land.
When they landed, they saw a man in an Earth Kingdom General uniform, with his men ready to greet them all.
"Welcome great heros! Avatar Aang, brave Sokka, mighty Katara, swift Naruto and …" the General said, as his eyes landed on Will.
"You have a problem?" Naruto asked him with a glare.
"I'm just surprised the Avatar would have a Fire Bender with him," the general said.
"Newsflash asshole, the Fire Nation is a part of the world too" Will said, giving him a scowl as she crossed her arms.
"Yea. The Fire Nation has people that most likely don't like how their leaders act" Aang said with a nod.
"Very well. Avatar Aang, I am General Fong and you are all welcome to my base" he said, spreading his arms out.
"I bet" Will said with a scoff, as she already had this guy written off as a lost cause.

(Fong's cambers )
Fong was having a meeting with Aang and his group, telling them that they heard what happened back at the north pole.
"Avatar Aang, you are ready to face the Fire Lord" Fong said with a smile.
Aang's eyes widened in surprise upon hearing this. "What?! No I'm not!" he yelled out.
Will scoffed at this. "Let me guess, you think he's ready because of the Avatar state?" she asked, crossing her arms.
"I wasn't talking to you," Fong said with a scowl directed at her.
"I don't hear a denial" Will said smugly.
"General, he can't just use that state. He has zero control of it" Katara said, trying to play peacemaker.
"We can help him get control. He's our only chance to destroy the Fire Nation, and finally end this war" Fong said.
"We are not gonna just destroy the Fire Nation. There has been enough genocide in this war" Naruto said, giving the General a glare.
"So, you refuse to help?" Fong asked Aang.
"I'm sorry General, but I refuse to be a weapon for you" Aang said in an apologetic tone, giving him an upset look.
Fong sighed at this. "I was hoping that it wouldn't come to this" he said as he stood up, before he stomped his foot, and made a punching motion as he sent his desk at Aang.
The desk struck Aang, and sent him flying out of the building, towards the practice ground outside.
"Damn it" Naruto growled out, as she pulled out his staff and blocked the soldiers path to Yue, with Kurama standing next to her as he growled at them.
Fong bent some Earth under his feet, and rode a wave of earth to follow Aang outside.
"Naruto, go help Aang" Yue said, as she opened a flask and made a water whip from the water inside, and smacked a soldier away from her.
"Yea, don't worry. We have her back" Will said, as she blasted some fire at some soldiers.
Naruto nodded, as he opened his glider and took off after Aang.
As he flew above the battleground, he saw Aang was being attacked by some soldiers, who were throwing giant disc's of earth at him.
Naruto saw Fong ordering his men from afar, and scowled as he closed his glider and dropped down towards Fong.
Naruto landed behind Fong by using a small burst of air to cushion his landing, and grabbed him by the back of his shirt, before he held a kunai to his neck.
"Stop attacking….now!" Naruto yelled at the soldiers, giving them a hard glare.
The soldiers all stopped, and held up their hands in surrender.
"Loyalty. You should value that," Naruto said, before he hit Fong on the back of the head, with the handle of his kunai, knocking him out.
Soon the others came out to help, but saw that the fighting was already over.
"Geez, you beat all of them quickly," Sokka said.
"Beat them nothing. I made them give up" Naruto said, twirling his kunai slightly before putting it away.
"Ah, you pretended you were gonna kill General dumbass huh?" Will said, gesturing to the knocked out Fong.
"You know me babe. I don't kill willy nilly" Naruto said, as he looked at Aang and nodded, as he could tell he didn't like that he made that threat to make the soldiers stop.
"Do you still want an escort to Omashu?" a soldier asked, as he stepped forward.
"Nah, I think we are good," Katara said, as they all got on Appa.
"You ok?" Naruto asked Yue, as he got on Appa.
"Of course. I am stronger than I look" Yue said with a smile, as she followed Naruto.
"I know, but you're the least experienced of us," Naruto said, as he sat down with Yue sitting next to him.
Yue grabbed Naruto's hand and smiled at him, finding his worry sweet.
"Ugh, I'm gonna be sick" Sokka said from his seat, pretending to gag.
"Oh grow up," Will said, as she sat down on Naruto's other side, with Kurama getting on Naruto's lap.
"Let's just get out of here" Aang said, as he grabbed the reins while Momo sat on his shoulder, before yelling "Yip yip" as they took off.

(Later that night)
"We should land, and make camp" Katara said as the sun was setting.
As they flew downwards, Naruto saw something and took out a telescope.
"What do you see?" Will asked him curiously.
"Looks like a circus," Naruto said, handing Will the telescope.
"Cool" Will said, as she took a look and smiled.
"Wanna go take a look?" Naruto asked her with a smile.
"If you two are gonna go explore, then I wanna go too" Yue said to them.
"Sure thing. What about the rest of you?" Naruto asked them, as Appa landed.
"I want to start training with Aang, since there's a lake nearby," Katara said, as she climbed off Appa.
Aang nodded, as he liked training with Katara
"And I just want to sleep," Sokka said, as he climbed off of Appa before giving a yawn.
"OK, we will be back soon," Naruto said, as him, Will and Yue put on some hoods and left.
Kurama followed after them, and climbed on Yue before he entered her hood.

(Later)
Naruto, Will and Yue were approaching the area where there was a circus tent.
"Wow, I have never seen a circus," Yue said with a smile.
"Stay close to us, ok? I think this is a Fire Nation circus" Naruto said, taking a look around.
"Don't worry, my harem sister is safe with me," Will said with a smile, as she placed her arm around Yue, who gave a blush.
Kurama then poked his head out of Yue's hood, as he sniffed for a moment and then took off into the circus.
"Hey! Get back here!" Naruto shouted, as he took off to go get Kurama.
"Meet up in the big tent!" Will yelled after Naruto, as she and Yue walked off.
Naruto followed after Kurama, and saw him enter a tent.
Naruto stealthily followed, and saw that it was an entrance where they were keeping animals in cages.
"Hey little guy," Naruto said, as he looked at a bat panther.
The bat panther hissed at Naruto.
"Hey it's OK, I'm not gonna hurt you. You hungry?" Naruto asked with a smile, as he saw a barrel of fish nearby and took a fish out.
The bat panther stopped hissing, and looked at Naruto with hope in its eyes, that he would feed him.
Naruto smiled kindly, and threw the bat panther the fish which it ate happily.
"Are the rest of you guys hungry?" Naruto asked, as he threw more fish to the caged animals.
The animals all ate happily, as they gave Naruto thankful looks.
"Awww, they like you," a girl's voice said from behind Naruto.
Naruto turned and saw a girl, who had a long ponytail that was braided and hung over one of her shoulders. She was wearing a light pink Fire Nation shirt, pink wrist bands on either wrist, light pink pants and a dark pink skirt with black shoes.
Naruto saw that the girl was carrying Kurama in her arms. "There you are, Kurama," he said with a smile.
"Awww, is this little guy yours? I was hoping to keep him for my act" the girl said as she smiled and pet Kurama, who gave a purring sound at this.
"Yea, sorry about that. He decided to explore on his own, miss?" Naruto said, hoping to get this girl's name.
The girl smiled brightly at Naruto. "I'm Ty Lee. What's your name? You have such a bright aura around you" she said, as she approached Naruto.
Naruto smiled back at her. "The name is Naruto, and it's nice to meet you Ty Lee," he said to her.
"Are you gonna watch my act in the big top?" Ty Lee asked, as she pet Kurama some more, who had a happy look on his face.
"Sure. Me and my friends came to the circus to take a look" Naruto said.
Ty Lee smiled at this, and handed Naruto three tickets. "Those are front row seats, so don't be late cutie," she said, as she put Kurama down and left the tent.
Naruto watched Ty Lee leave, and saw her body was very fit. "Not bad" he thought, as he checked her out.
Kurama looked at Naruto flatly upon seeing this.
"Hey, don't judge me. I'm only human, plus you liked her too" Naruto said to him with a chuckle.
Kurama shrugged at this, as he couldn't disagree, before he jumped on Naruto's shoulder as he left the tent.
Naruto soon approached the big top, and saw Will and Yue outside the tent, waiting for him with some drinks and snacks.
Naruto waved the tickets at them, with a smile on his face. "Look what I've got. Front row seats" he told them, as he handed one to each of the girls.
Yue smiled back, as she pulled him in for a hug and kissed him on the cheek.
Will looked at her ticket, before giving Naruto a calculating look. "How'd you score these tickets, Naruto?" she asked him with a raised eyebrow.
Naruto chuckled at her question. "Someone gave them to me," he answered with a smile.
Will looked at his face and in his eyes, as though trying to find something. She then grinned widely, as she said "Okay, who is she and what's her name?"
Naruto gaped at her for a moment. "How'd you know that I met Ty Lee?" he asked Will.
"I didn't, but thanks for telling me her name," Will said mischievously, with a cheeky grin on her face.
Naruto facepalmed upon realising that he'd walked right into that one, with Yue giggling behind her hand.
Will walked up to him, and patted his shoulder. "Sorry, I couldn't resist," she said to him. She then smiled, as she asked "So, is she cute?"
Naruto gave a nod, as he replied "Very, and she's also quite fit too."
Will's smile seemed to grow bigger upon hearing that. "Well then, we best not keep her waiting then" she said, before she stood between Naruto and Yue, as she looped her arms with theirs and headed for the entrance into the big top.

(Inside the tent)
Once they'd been allowed inside, after showing their tickets (along with the ticket collector sternly telling Naruto to make sure Kurama didn't disturb or interrupt the acts), they headed for their seats.
Naruto noticed that there was a VIP seat nearby, with several guards, and that the person that they were guarding was a teen girl around his age.
She had a look of arrogance around her, as though thinking everyone was beneath her. She had bangs of hair on either side of her face, and a topknot with a piece of metal in the shape of a flame in front of it on a band of some sort. She was also wearing a long sleeved red shirt and pants, with what looked like black body armour over it that had gold accents in places.
Kurama looked at this girl, and blew a raspberry at her.
"Hush you" Yue said, as she patted Kurama on the head.
"I gotta agree, she looks like a worse Cornelia" Will said with a shudder at the idea, as even though she missed her friend, she could admit her attitude wasn't the best.
"Probably a noble," Naruto said with a shrug.
The ringmaster soon approached the middle of the stage.
"Welcome to our circus! We are honored to have the princess of the Fire Nation Azula here tonight" the ringmaster said, as he bowed to the teen girl.
"Crap" Naruto grumbled, as he adjusted his hood with the girls doing the same.
"Not good. We better get out of here" Yue said with a frown.
"If we do that, we may get spotted" Will said with her own frown.
"Just stay inconspicuous," Naruto said to them.
They saw Ty Lee up on the tightrope, with a gold headpiece and she was balancing on a chair that was balancing on a table, in the middle of the tightrope.
"Nice" Will said with a smile, as she checked Ty Lee out.
"Behave" Yue said, with a roll of her eyes at Will's behaviour.
"Oh please, Naruto is checking her out too," Will said, as she pointed out that Naruto's eyes were glued to Ty Lee.
Ty Lee saw Naruto in the audience, and winked at him with a bright smile, making Naruto blush and Will to laugh.
"Oh, I like her," Will said with a smile.
Yue giggled at this, finding Naruto's reaction funny.
Kurama snickered at this, finding this funny too.
"Amazing. But wouldn't it be better if you set the net on fire?" Azula asked the ringmaster.
The ringmaster hesitated, but nodded slightly and used his FireBending to set the net on fire.
Naruto scowled at this, as he could see Ty Lee was nervous now even from afar, as he could slightly make out some sweat on her face.
"Absolutely amazing. How about you let loose your animals next?" Azula asked with a smile.
Naruto growled, as he got up from his seat.
"Oh hell" Will said, as she could tell what was coming next.
Yue sighed, as she saw what was coming next too.
"Why don't you stop being a bitch?" Naruto yelled at Azula, which silenced the entire tent, as many looked at him in fear and horror.
Azula scowled at this, and glared at Naruto. "You dare insult the princess of the Fire Nation?" she asked.
"Princess or not, a bitch is a bitch to me" Naruto said with a glare at Azula.
Ty Lee was surprised that someone was saying this to Azula, and was distracted by this as she soon slipped and fell towards the burning net.
Naruto instantly jumped, using his Airbending to carry him up, so he could catch Ty Lee in his arms bridal style.
As he fell down, his hood fell showing who he was.
Azula's eyes widened in surprise upon seeing Naruto, while everyone else in the audience gasped at this, before muttering to each other.
Naruto landed on the ground safely, and looked at Ty Lee who was clinging to him slightly. "You ok?" he asked her.
Ty Lee nodded at Naruto, and smiled as he put her down.
"So, the newest Airbender decided to attend a Fire Nation circus. How very foolish" Azula said, as her guards surrounded Naruto and Ty Lee.
Naruto glared at the guards. "If we are gonna do this, at least let Ty Lee get out of the way. She's not involved in any of this" he said.
Azula quirked an eyebrow at this, but nodded as Ty Lee looked at Naruto and frowned as she left.
"Wow, I'm surprised you actually care," Naruto said in slight surprise.
"Of course, she's my friend," Azula said with a shrug.
Naruto scoffed at this, and laughed in a sarcastic way. "Friend, right?" he said, rolling his eyes.
"Are you calling me a liar?" Azula asked, with an edge in her voice.
"Either you're a liar, or you don't value her like you should," Naruto said, crossing his arms.
"She would have been fine. I have complete faith in her abilities" Azula said.
"That's no excuse. If you risk your friends needlessly, don't be surprised if she and your other friends eventually abandon you" Naruto said.
Azula scowled at this, and got up as her hands lit up with blue flames.
"Oh, I struck a nerve huh?" Naruto asked with a smirk.
"Capture him!" Azula yelled at her soldiers.
Before her soldiers could react, Will and Yue attacked the soldiers with blasts of white fire, and a blast of water.
Kurama ran in between a few guards' legs, and used his tails to trip them.
"Time to go!" Will said, as she let loose some white fire, which set the floor on fire and blocked Azula and her soldiers' path to them.
Azula glared at Naruto, as he and her eyes met.
Naruto looked at Azula, and just sighed at what he saw in her eyes.
"Is he pitying me?!" Azula thought in surprise, as she clenched her fists.
"Let's go," Naruto said, as he turned to Will, Yue and Kurama.
Yue nodded, as she sent a water whip at the tent, and ripped open a way out.
Naruto, Will and Yue ran out of the tent, with Kurama close behind them.
"Well, that was a fun date," Will said with a smile, as they quickly left the circus behind.
"Less jokes, more running," Yue said with a frown.
"Who's joking?" Will asked, as she laughed.
Naruto just shook his head at his girlfriend's antics, as they got away from the area.

(With Azula)
Azula was with Ty Lee, as they watched the soldiers put out the fire.
"I'm sorry" Ty Lee said to Azula, as she bowed her head at her.
"It's…. ok. I'm just glad you're ok" Azula said to Ty Lee.
Ty Lee's eyes widened at this, as she looked up at Azula.
"As much as I hate to admit it, that Airbender had a point. You… you're my friend, and I should treat you like one" Azula said, rubbing her arm slightly while looking away from Ty Lee.
Ty Lee looked at Azula surprised, but she smiled and quickly grabbed Azula into a hug.
Azula's eyes widened at this, but she smiled and hugged Ty Lee back.
Ty Lee pulled away from Azula with a smile. "Ok, let's get going," she said.
"You're gonna join me?" Azula asked her.
"You're my friend, and you need me right? Plus, I wanna see that Airbender again" Ty Lee said with a smile.
Azula frowned at this.
"Oh, come on Azula. You gotta admit he was really cute" Ty Lee said.
Azula scoffed at this, but when she thought about it, she had to admit he was actually pretty cute. "I have to admit, I kinda liked that he wasn't afraid of me" she thought with a ghost of a smile.
"So, where are we going?" Ty Lee asked her curiously.
"We are heading for Omashu. I want to see if I can convince Mai to join us" Azula said, as they left the tent.
"Yay! I can't wait to see her again" Ty Lee said with a large smile, as she bounced on her feet a bit in her excitement.
Azula smiled and nodded at this, as she had to admit she missed Mai too.

(With Naruto, the next morning)
Naruto and the others were on Appa, as they headed for Omashu.
"Why did we have to leave so early?" Sokka whined, as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Would you believe that Naruto pissed off the Fire Nation princess?" Will asked him with a raised eyebrow.
This made Katara, Aang and Sokka look at Naruto in surprise.
"Do you always go looking for trouble?" Katara asked with a frown.
Naruto shrugged his shoulders at this. "Usually, trouble finds me," he said.
"What you do, hit on her?" Sokka asked with a grin.
Naruto scoffed at this, as he looked off to one side.
"No. He saved an acrobat though" Yue said with a smile.
"Let me guess; he had to use his Airbending, and he saved her without thinking?" Sokka asked.
"Hey! If someone is in trouble, I don't care if I get exposed to some bitchy princess! I'm gonna save them" Naruto said, crossing his arms with a huff.
Aang smiled at this, and nodded in approval.
Katara nodded too, as she had to admit she agreed. "Language" she said with a frown, as she remembered what Naruto said.
"Yes sis," Naruto said with a smile.
Sokka was looking at his sister, with a raised eyebrow. "I'm sorry, but did you just say 'language' Katara?" he asked her curiously.
"Well, she is the 'Mom' of our group" Will said with a smile.
This caused some of them to smile, and nod as they couldn't disagree.
"How long until we reach Omashu?" Naruto asked Aang.
"Not long. I can't wait until we see Bumi again" Aang said with a smile.
"What's this Bumi guy like?" Yue asked curiously.
"Crazy as hell" Sokka said truthfully.
"He prefers the term 'mad genius' actually" Aang said.
Naruto smiled at this, as they approached a mountain side. When they passed it, Naruto noticed something. "Land Appa, now!" he yelled at Aang.
Aang quickly made Appa land on a cliffside.
"What's the problem?" Will asked Naruto curiously.
Naruto took out his spyglass, and looked at Omashu from afar. "The Fire Nation has control of Omashu" he said, as he handed the spyglass to Aang.
Aang looked through the spyglass, and saw that the front gates of Omashu had the Fire Nation symbol on it.
"Omashu always felt like it was untouchable," Katara said with a frown.
"Now only Ba Sing Se is the only Earth city left," Sokka said.
"I'm not leaving without Bumi," Aang said, as he passed the spyglass to Naruto.
Naruto saw that Aang was determined to try and find Bumi. So he nodded his head, as he took out his own glider.
"Hope you have a way in," Will said with a sigh.

(Later)
"OK, this officially is my most hated town" Will groaned out, as Aang showed them a secret entrance into the city, which was a sewer.
"Sorry babe" Naruto said, as he patted Will on the head, as they all headed into the sewer.
Yue got in front of Will. "Stay near me. I can try to keep the sludge off of you, as much as I can" she said.
Will smiled at this, and kissed Yue on the cheek, surprising her.
"Once this is all sorted out, I might 'thank you' properly later" Will whispered into her ear, before she licked it slightly.
Yue blushed atomic red at this, as they entered the sewer.

(Streets of Omashu)
They all finally made it to the surface, and quickly hid in an alleyway.
"So, what's the plan?" Sokka asked.
"First, I want this damn thing off my neck!" Will yelled, as she pulled at a mini octopus.
"It's OK. Purple pentapus are harmless," Aang said with a smile, as he tickled it and it let go of Will.
"I don't care. Only Naruto is allowed to leave marks on me!" Will said with a frown.
"You are so immature" Katara said, as she blushed lightly at what Will was insinuating.
"OK. Me and Aang are gonna split up, and search the city. You all try to find the rebellion" Naruto said to them.
"Two questions: how do you know there is a rebellion, and how are we supposed to find them?" Sokka asked, holding up two fingers.
"In order: there is always a rebellion, and leave that to Will. She has experience with that sort of thing" Naruto said, with a smile at Will.
Will nodded, as she rubbed her neck where there was still a suction mark.
Naruto and Aang took off, and started to jump from roof to roof, as they split up to explore the city.

(Later, with Naruto)
Naruto was jumping from roof to roof, and saw some people walking down in the city.
"Probably should be down in the city, so I don't draw attention" Naruto thought, as it was still the middle of the day, so it was best to wait for night before he roof jumped anymore.
Naruto put on his hood, and used his staff as a walking stick as he entered the streets, pretending to have a limp.
Naruto was walking around, and looking at the people who looked miserable, but at least they looked healthy. "At least they aren't being hurt," he thought to himself in relief.
He saw a girl around his age walking past him, which the people were avoiding. She had two small hair buns, and two long strands of hair, that went past her shoulders. She wore a long sleeved dress that was black, red and dark red along with black pointy shoes.
Naruto saw the girl sigh boredly, as the people avoided her like the plague.
"Not popular huh?" Naruto asked the girl, getting her attention.
The girl looked at Naruto, with a bored look on her face. "Obviously. Since my dad is in charge of the city now" she said with a bored tone, while crossing her arms.
Naruto looked at this girl, and chuckled. "Wow, it's like if Shikamaru was cute," he thought.
The girl quirked an eyebrow at Naruto. "Are you laughing at me?" she asked him.
"No no. It's not your fault your dad's in charge of the city. So, what's your name?" Naruto asked her curiously.
The girl looked at Naruto curiously, as though trying to figure him out. "Mai," she said simply.
"You don't talk to people a lot, do you?" Naruto asked curiously, as he noticed Mai was very reserved.
Mai shook her head at him. "Not really. Nobody really wants to talk to me, unless it's to suck up to my dad" she said with a frown.
"Nobody wants to talk to a pretty girl like you? I don't believe it" Naruto said with a smile.
Mai paused at this, and looked at Naruto with a curious look. "What are you doing?" she asked him.
"I'm hitting on you," Naruto said bluntly.
Mais eyes widened at this, and she blushed brightly at this, as nobody had hit on her before.
"Don't tell me, nobody hasn't ever hit on you before," Naruto said with a smile.
Mai composed herself, and shook her head. "Your either brave, or stupid to be so bold with a nobles daughter" she said to him.
Naruto chuckled at this. "Well, there is evidence of both, if you ask the right people" he said to her.
Mai smiled lightly at this, finding this a little funny.
"You have a nice smile," Naruto said truthfully. "You should try and use it more often," he added.
"Miss Mai!" a soldier yelled out, as he ran over.
Mai sighed at this. "What?" she asked, sounding annoyed.
"Some friends of yours have arrived at the palace," the soldier said.
Mai raised an eyebrow at this. She turned to look at Naruto again, but he was gone.
She frowned at this, as she tried to look for him.
"Miss Mai?" the soldier asked her curiously.
"It's nothing," Mai said, as she sighed. "I wish I at least got his name" she thought, as she followed the soldier back to the palace.
Naruto watched her from afar on a rooftop, and smiled to himself. "What is it about Fire Nation girls that make them so attractive?" he thought, as he took off to continue searching the city.

(Later, the next morning)
Naruto was outside the city, on a cliffside looking at a makeshift campsite.
Naruto saw that Appa was there, and he made his way over. And when he got close enough, he saw his friends around a fire.
"Hey guys, you miss me?" Naruto asked them.
"Where have you been?" Yue asked him.
"Yea, you missed out on us getting all the civilians out of the city" Sokka said with a grin.
"Forget that. You missed us accidently kidnapping the governor's son" Will said with a smile, as she held up a child in her arms, who was reaching out for Kurama's tail.
Kurama shook his head rapidly, and ran to Appa to hide behind him.
"Coward" Will said with a smile at Kurama.
Kurama blew a raspberry at Will upon hearing this.
"Yea, and the same to you fluffy" Will said.
"I hope you have a plan," Naruto said, with a frown at the child.
"Well, in the morning we are gonna exchange the kid for king Bumi" Sokka said.
Naruto sighed at this. "Please tell me. Even if it's a trap, you're still gonna return the kid" he said.
"Of course. We aren't monsters" Yue said, as the kid was playing with a strand of her hair.
Naruto nodded at this, before he sat down at the fire, as they started to plan for the morning.
