Chapter 11
(Ba Sing Se)
Naruto and Aang were using their gliders to fly around the lower ring of the city, while dropping the fliers of Appa.
Meanwhile, everyone else was walking around on the ground, putting up posters on the walls.
"I wonder if the Dai Li will give us attitude, after Will sent that Joo Dee chick running, after she tried to stop us from putting up our fliers?" Sokka asked curiously, as he put up a new flier while Toph, Will and Yue stood nearby.
"Who the hell cares? If they think that they can stop us from finding Appa, then they have no idea who they are messing with. And if they need a reminder, I'd be happy to remind them" Toph said with a smirk, as she punched her fist into her palm.
"Let's not go to that just yet. We need to find Appa and meet with the earth king. We need his support if we're gonna be able to plan to take down the Fire Nation" Yue said, as she looked at Toph.
"Right, right. So let's keep putting up these posters. Follow me Toph" Will said as she approached Toph
"Why, because I can't do it by myself?" Toph asked with a scowl, as she grabbed a poster from Will and the brush of glue as she swiped it on the wall, before slamming the poster on it. "...it's upside down, isn't it?" she then asked with a low tone.
"Don't worry, I love you anyway" Will said with a smile, as she patted Toph on the head before taking the brush back from her, as she led Toph down the road.
"No hanky panky!" Katara yelled after them.
"Hey! Don't stifle me, sugar queen!" Toph yelled back.
"Yea! She likes it!" Will yelled, before she smacked Toph's ass, surprising her.
"Will you please focus?" Katara asked with a groan, as she pinched the bridge of her nose, closing her eyes as she did.
"Yea, we have company" Yue said, as she pointed behind Will and Toph.
"Good, I could use a punching bag -" Will was saying, as she turned around to look behind her, and paused at seeing Zuko, who was with a teenage girl. She was wearing a green kimono and had her hair in two pigtails that hung over her chest.
"Oh, hey Zu -" Sokka was saying, as he waved at Zuko, before Katara slugged him hard in the shoulder, silencing him.
"Do you know these people Lee?" the girl asked Zuko curiously.
"Yeh, they are friends of mine Jin," Zuko said with a nod at the girl.
"Oh! Were they a part of the circus too?" Jin asked excitedly.
"Circus?" Yue asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"So you found a girl, eh Lee? I bet Kurama is making you miserable" Will said with a teasing grin at Zuko.
"Actually, my uncle said that he left to go back to you guys a few nights ago. So, where is he? Is he with Naruto?" Zuko asked, getting confused looks from everyone.
"Hey Zuko!" Naruto yelled out, as he dropped down in front of them, with Aang landing behind him, as they spun their gliders around, putting the wings away.
"You know the Avatar, Lee?" Jin asked, her eyes widening in surprise at seeing Aang.
"Lee?" Aang asked curiously.
"Later Aang. Kurama is missing now too" Will said to Aang, before she looked at Naruto.
"Wait, Kurama's missing too? But we thought that he was with you and your uncle" Naruto said, with a look of shock at Zuko.
"He ran off when I went on my date with Jin. My uncle had said he told him to head back to you guys a few nights ago" Zuko said.
"Ok, this is really adding to the things that I hate about this city" Toph said with an annoyed tone, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I smell a rat. It's obvious that Long Fingers guy is behind this" Will said with a scowl.
Naruto snorted at the name Will gave Long Feng.
"Ok, we need a way to find Kurama" Aang said, as he looked at Naruto, hoping he had a way to track him
"Hmmmmm. I have an idea, but if I'm gonna do this, I need a place to do it. Preferably someplace that the Dai Li won't know about" Naruto said, rubbing his chin in thought.
"Yea, the place they gave us is a no go" Sokka said nodding at this, agreeing with Naruto.
"Um, what about your place Lee?" Jin asked Zuko curiously.
"Hmmmm, that could work," Zuko said, nodding at this, before looking at the others, after smiling slightly at Jin.
"Then lead the way, lover boy," Toph said with a grin at Zuko.
"I'm gonna be constantly teased about this, aren't I?" Zuko asked with a groan, as he led them back to the place where he and Iroh were staying.
"Oh, absolutely. And when we find Kurama? We're gonna put you in the nuthouse" Sokka said with a smile.
"So Jin, tell us, what attracted you to Lee here?" Will asked with an evil grin at Zuko, as she and the other girls walked next to her.
Zuko hung his head at this, while Naruto patted him on the shoulder in sympathy.
"After you put your pride back together, you should tell her the truth. This isn't something that you should hide for long" Naruto whispered to Zuko, with Sokka nodding his head in agreement to this.
Zuko said nothing to this, but nodded slightly, as he knew that this was true.

(Later, back at Zuko's place)
"Uncle Mushi, I'm home. Me and Jin brought some friends" Zuko said, as they all entered the apartment.
"Pffft" Will said, stiffening her laughter along with Toph, Aang and Sokka, before Yue and Katara gave them looks of disapproval.
Iroh walked into the living room/kitchen area and paused, when he saw the group. "Ah, I see you all finally met up again" he said with a smile at them.
"Yea, and we need a room for me to meditate in," Naruto said, as he stepped forward.
"Of course. You can use Zuko's room. I'll make some tea and refreshments for the others" Iroh said, as he walked over to the kitchen.
"Thanks" Naruto said with a nod, as he walked off towards the back room, with Aang right behind him.
"I'll help you" Jin said with a smile at this, as she followed Iroh, getting a smile from the old man.
"Oh, she's a keeper Lee" Sokka whispered to Zuko with a grin at this.
"Yea. Though I would come clean, before things get complicated and turns into a bad drama" Will said to Zuko in a hushed tone.
"It's on my to-do list," Zuko said, nodding at this.
"Well, you better do it soon. Better it comes from you then from someone else" Yue said, as she nodded at this.
"So you don't want me to just blurt it out?" Toph asked curiously, as they all found somewhere to sit down.
"Blurt what out?" Jin asked, as she walked over to the table, with cups of tea on a tray.
Zuko froze at this, while the others all tried to think fast.
"So how is Naruto meditating gonna help find Kurama?" Sokka asked, after saying the first thing he could think of.
"Why would Naruto need to meditate to find Kurama?" Iroh asked curiously, as he walked over, with a tray of biscuits.
"He and Kurama have a connection to each other. And if Naruto focuses, he can find out where he is" Will said, as she took a cup of tea
"Wait, Kurama hasn't been with you for the last few days?" Iroh asked in shock, as he sat down.
"Yea. He's been missing and we're thinking that the Dai Li have something to do with it" Katara said, as she took a biscuit.
"Hence why we needed a place to lay low, so that Naruto could meditate" Toph said, before she ate a biscuit.
"Well, it shouldn't take him long, so don't worry," Will said, as she waved her hand dismissively.

(With Naruto)
Naruto was sitting on the floor of Zuko's room, with his eyes closed while Aang stood by the door, and after a few moments, Naruto saw flashes of a lake and after that, he saw what looked like an underground prison. He then saw what looked like a chained up Appa and Kurama, who had an iron muzzle on his face.
"Kurama, is that you?" Naruto thought at Kurama.
["Naruto?! Where the fuck are you?!"] Kurama yelled out in surprise at hearing Naruto, but this was only heard as angry muffled yelling, thanks to his muzzle.
"Calm down, I'm mentally talking to you. Do you know where you are at the moment?" Naruto asked him.
["Grrrr, some Earthbenders captured me and Appa. And all I have heard them mention is the word Laogai, when not yelling in pain from me burning them, before they muzzled me!"] Kurama thought at Naruto.
"Don't worry, we're on the way" Naruto thought firmly, before he started to cut the connection.
["Well hurry up, and move your ass! I want to make these ass clowns see what happens, when you fuck with a spirit!"] Kurama thought at Naruto, before the connection ended.
Naruto then opened his eyes and quickly got to his feet.
"Did you find him?" Aang asked curiously.
"Yup, and he's locked up with Appa by the Dai Li" Naruto said, as he walked towards the door, and left the bedroom.
Aang's eyes widened in surprise at this, before he quickly followed Naruto to the living room, where the others were.
"So, did you find the furball?" Toph asked, as everyone looked at Naruto.
"Not only that, but get this; he's locked up with Appa as well" Naruto said, as he and Aang both sat down.
"Well, that saves us time at least," Sokka said with a sigh of relief.
"So, where are they?" Katara asked curiously.
"All Kurama could tell me was one word: Laogai" Naruto said, as he took some tea from Jin
Jin paused at what Naruto said. "Do you mean Lake Laogai?" she asked him.
"You know it?" Aang asked with a smile at Jin.
"Hmm, it's a lake in the Upper Ring. I hear a lot of people are sent there, and come back way more relaxed" Jin said, nodding at Aang.
"Relaxed? I'm gonna assume that's where they brainwash their group of Joo Dee's" Will said.
"Well, we may as well head there and take a look," Sokka said, as he and Aang stood up.
Everyone else but Zuko and Iroh stood up, and started to walk towards the door.
"Hey, are you gonna come sparky?" Toph asked Zuko curiously.
"Yea, we could use the backup" Will said, as she looked at Zuko.
Zuko looked at the group, before looking at Jin as he hesitated.
"Is this about you being a Firebender?" Jin asked Zuko curiously, as she raised an eyebrow at him.
This got surprised looks from everyone, who looked at Jin with wide eyes.
"Wait, you know?" Zuko asked, surprised at this.
"Well, you lit my favorite night time light display on our first date, after you had me close my eyes. And not even a minute later, they were all lit. So, it's kinda obvious, sweetie" Jin said with a smile at Zuko.
This got smiles from the others, as they looked at Zuko, who blushed and looked to the side.
"Ahhhh, so you are a sap. Ha, Naruto owes me money Zuko" Will said with a chuckle.
Jin's eyes widened at this, before she looked at Zuko in shock.
"Nice going, red" Toph said, as she slugged Will in the arm.
"I didn't expect the banished prince when I thought you might be a Firebender" Jin said in shock.
"I'm sorry" Zuko said, as he bowed his head.
"For what? You can't help it. What matters is what you do now, isn't it?" Jin asked, as she placed a finger on his chin, lifting his head back up, as she smiled at him. "Now, go help them save their friends, ok?" she asked.
Zuko nodded at this, before he got up and walked over to the wall, where his dual swords were hanging as he grabbed them and the sheath, before he strapped the sheath to his waist, and put the swords together, then put them inside the sheath.
"….Zuko, don't ever let her go," Naruto said with a chuckle, as he shook his head.
Zuko nodded at this and smiled a little, as he followed them all out of the apartment.
Jin gave a sigh, as she sat down on the couch.
"Do not worry, dear child. Prince Zuko is in good hands" Iroh said with a smile, as he sat next to her.
Jin gave a nod at this, as she smiled at him. "So, are you really his uncle, or is that part of his cover being here?" she asked him curiously.
Iroh gave a chuckle at this, as he poured them both some tea, while telling her about himself.

(With the group, sometime later)
After taking a train, everyone arrived at Lake Laogai, which was quite big and had an island in the middle of it.
"Looks like a good place for a secret base to me" Will said, as they approached the lake.
"Well, if it is a secret base, there must be a secret entrance somewhere, right?" Sokka asked, as he looked around the area.
"Leave it to me. I'll find it" Toph said with a grin as she cracked her knuckles, as she stepped forward and used her Earthbending senses to reach out, and see if she could find anything.
"Find anything?" Yue asked her.
"Yeah, there's a secret entrance, that way" Toph said, as she pointed down the lake, before she walked down the beach, before she stomped hard and made an earth bridge appear on the lake, which had a sealed entrance on the end.
"Nice job babe," Naruto said with a smile at Toph, as they all approached the entrance.
Toph smiled at this, while Aang used his Earthbending to open the entrance, showing a deep stairway.
"Ok, this is a stealth mission, people. So until we find Kurama and Appa, we keep quiet" Sokka said to the team, as he went down the stairway with them following after him.
They soon reached the end and started to walk down a hallway, before they heard some voices coming from a room up ahead, causing them to peek inside it.
"Hello, I'm Joo Dee. Welcome to Ba Sing Se" a Dai Li agent said to a bunch of girls, all dressed in the same clothes.
"Hello, I'm Joo Dee. Welcome to Ba Sing Se" all the girls said together in monotones, with blank looks.
"We are so lucky to have our walls to create order," the Dai Li agent said.
"We are so lucky to have our walls to create order" the girls all said together.
"This is so wrong" Will grumbled, as they all kept walking.
As they walked, they started to peek through the windows into the doors, and soon Naruto peeked into one and saw Kurama chained to the ground, with a muzzle on his mouth.
"Kurama!" Naruto whispered through the bars, getting his attention.
Kurama perked up at this and jumped to his feet upon hearing Naruto's voice, as he opened the door and entered the cell, with the others waiting for him outside.
"Naruto, keys!" Katara said as she grabbed some keys hanging on the wall, and tossed them to Naruto, who caught them and went to unlock Kurama's muzzle, and soon….
["Gah! What the hell took you so long?! You would think -"] Kurama was yelling, before Naruto put the muzzle back on him.
"Oi! Zip it, you moron. We have to stay quiet, until we can find Appa" Naruto whispered.
"Yea, then you can go nuts and scar them for life" Will said, poking her head into the cell.
"Is that mentally scar them or physically scar them?" Zuko asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes," Will said with a smile at this.
Naruto finished unlocking Kurama's chains and he quickly shook himself loose, before he jumped onto Naruto's shoulder, as he left the cell
"Kurama, do you happen to know where Appa is?" Aang asked him.
["Follow me. I can smell him"] Kurama whispered, as he used his tail to point down the hallway.
Everyone followed Naruto, and soon they were in front of a big door.
"Does anyone have a key?" Katara asked.
Naruto shook the rings of keys he still had from before, and went to unlock it.
Aang looked inside through the small window, and smiled brightly. "Appa!" he said happily, as a familiar groan was heard from inside the cell.
As Naruto finally unlocked the door, but as he did this, Toph turned to look behind them. "Uh guys, we have company" she said, as she took a battle stance.
Everyone turned to look, and saw a squad of Dai Li agents standing at the ready.
Kurama's fur went on end at this, before he jumped off Naruto's shoulder and in a burst of fire, he grew to the size of a bear. ["I owe you fuck wads for muzzling me. And I aim to collect!"] he roared, as he spat out some fire.
The Dai Li took ready stances, not intimidated in the slightest.
"It looks like they don't know who they are messing with, Fluffy," Toph said with a smirk.
"Yea, and we need a distraction, while we get Appa out of here. Do you feel up to it?" Will asked with a smirk of her own.
["Don't worry. One distraction, coming right up!"] Kurama said with a savage grin, before he shot at the Dai Li and as the squad went to attack him, Kurama's tails split into nine and shot at them and made them all scatter. But they quickly recovered and started to attack Kurama with earth fists.
["Ha, is that all you got?! This is how you use an element, dirtbags!"] Kurama yelled, before he roared loudly and blasted a torrent of orange flames at them, making them scatter again to dodge, as he cackled madly.
"Um….should we help him?" Zuko asked curiously, as he sweatdropped at this.
["Go free Appa, damn it! I'll catch up!"] Kurama yelled, before he backhanded a Dai Li agent with his tails, slamming him against the wall.
"You better" Naruto said, as they all entered the cell.
As they entered the cell, Aang quickly went to pet Appa, along with Katara, Will and Yue, while Naruto went to free the bison from his chains.
"We can use this back door to leave, and Kurama can catch up, hopefully" Sokka said, as he pointed at a back door to the cell.
Everyone nodded at this. Toph quickly approached it and stomped hard, making the door open as she led the way out.

(Outside)
The back entrance to the base burst open, thanks to Toph, and they all ran out with Appa flying out happily, as he gave out a happy groan.
Everyone smiled at this, seeing that Appa was obviously happy to not be confined anymore.
But this happiness was short-lived, as Naruto noticed a bunch of ships on the lake sailing towards them, all filled with squads of Dai Li. And on one of them was Long Feng, who stood at the front of the ship.
"You and your group have been a pain in my side long enough, Avatar. This is your last chance. Promise to leave the city at once, and I'll let you leave with your pet and your spirit friend" Long Feng said.
Before anyone could respond, the earth started to shake and suddenly, the entrance that the group had left through exploded, as Kurama grew out of it roaring, as he grew bigger and bigger, as he towered over the ships.
"You're not in any position to make us negotiate with you," Naruto said with a grin, as Kurama growled as he glared down at the ships, a few pieces of fire escaping from his mouth.
["I owe you a display of my power, for trying to confine me, human"] Kurama growled out, as he glared at Long Feng, as he opened his mouth.
Long Feng's eyes widened at this, as he saw fire charging in Kurama's mouth. He and his men quickly abandoned the ship, as Kurama fired at the ship, causing it to light on fire before he swung one of his tails at it, crushing it.
"Maybe we don't need the Earth Kings army, if you're capable of this Kurama" Toph said, as they all looked up at Kurama, while Sokka's jaw agape and his eyes wide at this.
"Give him a minute," Will said with a flat tone.
Suddenly, in a flash of fire, Kurama shrunk back down to his small form.
["God damn it! My stamina is shit"] Kurama yelled, as he walked over to the group, annoyed that he barely got an attack out in his full power form, before he was spent.
"Language," Katara said, as she frowned at the fox.
["Hey, I just got out of lockup, sugar queen. So how about some sympathy?!"] Kurama said with a huff.
"Ok, ok, let's calm down and get you some food," Yue said, as she picked Kurama up and patted his head.
["You can't calm me that - ooooo, that's the spot"] Kurama was growling, before he started to smile, as Yue scratched his ear.
Appa groaned as he landed near all of them, as Momo flew to him and landed on his head, as he started to chatter at him.
"Hey buddy, we missed you too," Aang said with a smile, as he patted his nose.
Appa gave a groan at this, as he gave Aang a full body lick.
"So, what's the plan now?" Zuko asked curiously.
"Yea, the Dai Li probably isn't gonna take this lightly," Sokka said with a nod.
"Well, we could tell the King, and hope that he'll help us," Yue said.
"What, we're just gonna barge in, kick ass and just demand to see the King?" Naruto asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"…..at this point, that actually sounds like the best move" Aang said, as after everything they had dealt with in this city, they really needed to go with the blunt approach.
"That's my student! Let's go kick some ass!" Toph yelled with a grin at hearing this.
["Oi, food first! I refuse to be useless!"] Kurama yelled out.
"Right, right. How does steak sound?" Naruto asked with a chuckle at his friend.
["Make it a few steaks"] Kurama said with a grin, as he licked his lips.
"Ok. We go eat, then we attack the Earth King's palace!" Sokka yelled, as he pointed his finger in the air.
"….that really doesn't sound good, without context" Zuko said, as they all walked towards Appa.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were each relaxing in their office, when just like always….
Cowabunga dudes! Deadpool yelled, as he barged into the room, dressed like a ninja turtle
Oh yea, that drops in about a week: Kfbanime87 said with a chuckle at this
I hope that it's good: P.O.M said with a nod, as he drank some water
I hear that the premiere went so good, that Nickelodeon greenlit a sequel and cartoon for these new turtles: Kfbanime87 said with a knowing smile
P.O.M spat out his water at this, while Deadpool gasped dramatically
Yes! The turtles are back, baby! Deadpool yelled happily with a fist pump
Yea, though the show will be exclusive to paramount plus: Kfbanime87 said, as he put on a helmet
WHAT?! P.O.M yelled out
It's how it's going. So if you want it, I say just get the service. Hell, they are gonna have a Knuckles show too, and new Avatar stuff eventually, so I say go for it: Kfbanime87 said with a shrug
