Chapter 12
(With Team Avatar)
Everyone was on a flying Appa, after Naruto had unsealed a new saddle and new reins for him, then they had gotten some food for him to eat, before they were all flying towards the earth palace.
"So, what's the plan when we reach the palace?" Sokka asked curiously.
"Yeah, cause if Long Feng gets there before us, he might tell the Earth King that we're terrorists or something," Katara said.
"Yea, that's the typical punk ass move" Will said with a scowl at this, lightning briefly flashing in her eyes.
"The plan is that we go in and talk to the Earth King, and if the Dai Li try anything, we hit them so hard that they won't be able to feel anything for a month" Naruto said with a hard tone, as he glared at the palace.
"That's so hot" Toph said with a grin at this, rubbing her thighs together slightly.
"Down girl" Yue said with a slight chuckle at this.
"You know, if Azula was here, she'd probably help you with this," Zuko said, as he looked over the side of the saddle.
"I would have asked her to help, but I don't think we're at the point in our relationship where I can trust her with this yet" Naruto said with a shrug.
"…..say what?" Zuko asked, as he turned his head to look at Naruto.
"Incoming!" Sokka bellowed, as some giant pieces of earth started flying at them, causing Appa to groan as he avoided one, which barley missed him
"Aang, evasive maneuvers!" Naruto yelled, as he swung his staff, sending some air at an incoming earth chunk, causing it to deflect to the side.
"On it!" Aang shouted, as he tugged on the reins, causing Appa to fly around the incoming earth attacks and avoid them.
"Incoming from the rear!" Will yelled, as she pointed behind them at a giant rock flying at them.
Toph took a stance and thrust her arm out behind her, making the giant rock shatter into rubble, which fell helplessly onto them.
"Aang, you need to land, before we get taken out" Zuko said, as he held onto Appa.
["I'm with scarface on this. We are getting attacked from all sides here!"] Kurama yelled, as he dug his claws into the saddle to hold onto.
Aang directed Appa down towards the ground, where an army of Earthbenders were between them and the giant staircase leading to the palace.
"So, what's the plan?" Aang asked, as he and the others jumped off Appa.
"We need a clear path to the palace," Zuko said, as he took a ready stance.
["I'm on it! Hey, you meat bags! Let me show ya something!"] Kurama yelled, as he ran at the Earth Kingdom soldiers, and as he ran, he started getting bigger and bigger, and soon he was as big as a building, and his nine tails were waving wildly behind him, as he jumped at the Earth Kingdom soldiers
"Aahh! Mummy!" one of the soldiers yelled in terror, as he ran away.
"No killing buddy!" Naruto yelled, as he and the others ran towards the stairs, as Kurama chased after the Earth Kingdom soldiers.
["No problem! You would be surprised what you can live through! Gahahahahahaha!"] Kurama cackled, as he unleashed some fire on some of the soldiers.
Aang and Toph each stood in a corner, before they flattened the stairs and started Earthbending the floor beneath them upwards, with Appa flying after them.
They soon made it up to the top of the stairs and approached the doors to the palace, but their way was blocked by some more soldiers.
Yue gathered some water from the barrels on Appa's back, before she sent it at them and froze them to the wall and ground.
"Knock knock!" Will yelled, as she charged up some lightning, before she blasted the doors wide open.
"Remind me to have her do that to my father's palace doors sometime" Zuko said with a wide grin, as they ran through the open doors.
['Ha! I'd love to see that!"] Kurama said with a laugh, as he followed them.
They all stopped at an intersection, where there were three different paths forward.
"Which way, babe?" Naruto asked Toph, as he looked at the blind Earthbender.
"Well, that one there has a bunch of people in there waiting, guarding someone sitting on a throne" Toph said, as she pointed at the door in front of them.
"Good, then let's do this!" Will yelled, as she approached it.
"Wait!" Naruto yelled, as he grabbed her shoulder, causing her to stop.
"What's wrong?" Aang asked curiously.
"Yea, let's just go in and tell the Earth King what's happening already" Sokka said.
"If we just barge in, then we're playing right into Long Feng's hands," Naruto said with a frown.
"Then what do we do?" Katara asked with a nod, as she agreed with this.
Aang thought about this for a moment, before he smiled as he had an idea, which he quickly told to the others.

(Inside the palace throne room)
Inside the throne room, Long Feng and a dozen of his Dai Li agents stood at the ready, while a man sat in a throne, in the middle of the room. The man wore royal looking clothes, while Bosco the bear sat next to him.
"Are you sure they are even coming, Long Feng?" the Earth King asked curiously.
"Of course, your majesty. These are usurpers that I have been watching for months now, and they wish to plan your downfall" Long Feng said with a firm tone of voice.
Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door, getting everyone's attention.
"They knock?" the Earth King asked curiously.
Long Feng frowned at this, before he gestured at two of his Dai Li agents to approach the door.
They soon opened the door, revealing the group, who had their hands up as they entered the room appa behind them long Feng said with a firm tone
"We mean no harm! We only wish to talk and be heard as loyal citizens!" Aang yelled as he smiled widely
"Yea, what he said! We only wish to talk to the Earth King!" Naruto said as he nodded, as he kept his hands up.
"Oh man, we're so dead," Zuko said with a flat tone, as the Dai Li surrounded them.
["Yeah, you're telling me"] Kurama said, as he looked at all the Dai Li.
"Lock them up, and make sure that the Avatar and his friends never see the light of day again" Long Feng yelled at his Dai Li agents.
"The Avatar?" the Earth King asked, surprised at this.
"That's right, your majesty. We just want to talk with you, but your right hand man over there has been making things difficult for us" Naruto said with a hard frown, as he nodded at Long Feng, who returned his frown with one of his own.
"Oh, and not to mention, locking up friends of ours and being an all around piece of shi -" Will was saying with a scowl, before Yue covered her mouth.
"I promise on my title as the Avatar, that none of us are going to hurt you, your Majesty" Aang said, as he gave the King a formal bow.
The Earth King looked at Aang, before he saw Bosco approach Aang and sit in front of him, before licking him, making Aang laugh as he patted Bosco on the head.
He then smiled. "Well, I suppose that I can hear them out, seeing as they have been nothing but polite and cooperative. Plus, Bosco seems to like them at the very least" the King said.
Long Feng said nothing to this, but bowed his head as his men stood down.
"Your Majesty, we are here to ask you for help in ending the war with the Fire Nation" Aang said, as he stepped forward.
"Which has been going on for a hundred years," Sokka said.
"Maybe give or take a few months," Katara added.
"A secret hundred year war? That's ridiculous!" the Earth King said with a shake of his head.
"Quite ridiculous indeed" Long Feng said, as he looked to the side.
"There is plenty of proof, if you are willing to trust us, your Majesty," Naruto said, as he stepped forward.
"And what kind of proof do you have?" the Earth King asked curiously with a cocked eyebrow.
["Well, there's that drill that the Fire Nation left at the Outer Wall"] Kurama said.
"Who said that?" the Earth King asked, as he looked around curiously, as he didn't see who talked.
["Down here"] Kurama said, waving a tail to get the King's attention.
The Earth King looked down, and his eyes widened at seeing Kurama. "A-a spirit?!" he asked, surprised at this.
["In the flesh, your Majesty. So to speak, that is"] Kurama said with a smile, as he bowed his head slightly.
"Uh, since when can he be polite?" Toph whispered to Naruto, who hushed her.
"Your Majesty, the Earth King has never been to the Outer Wall in the entire history of Ba Sing Sae" Long Feng said with a firm tone.
"Well, maybe it's time for a change, then" Yue said.
"I don't know. Long Feng is my trusted adviser, and he's never steered me wrong" the Earth King said, as he stroked his chin.
["Tell you what your Majesty, if you come with us, then you can ride on my buddy Appa"] Kurama said with a smile, as he pointed at Appa with his tail.
Appa groaned at this, showing he was willing to do this.
The Earth King blinked at this, before he smiled a little, as he stood up from his throne.
"And that's checkmate" Will said with a grin at this.
"Follow us, your Majesty" Yue said with a smile, as the Earth King approached Appa.
"Yea, and we can tell you how your adviser has been treating us, too," Zuko said, as he looked at Long Feng with a hard look.
"Don't listen to him, your Majesty. I've heard that he is the son of the Fire Lord, so this could be an attempt to assassinate you" Long Feng said, as the Earth King climbed onto Appa.
"I thought there wasn't a war going on" Toph said with a smirk on her face, at the fact that Long Feng slipped up slightly.
"The prince of the Fire Nation? Well, that changes things. Your word carries a bit more weight" the Earth King said, as he sat down on Appa.
"Well, would you look at that, you being a prince is actually useful" Toph said with a smile, as they all made their way out of the palace.
Zuko shook his head at this, while the others laughed.

(Later)
Everyone was now on the Outer Wall of Ba Sing Sae, leading the Earth King to where the drill that the Fire Nation had tried using to break through the wall was.
As they walked along, all the soldiers on the wall quickly stood to attention upon seeing the King.
"There, that's the drill the Fire Nation tried to use to break through your wall" Sokka said, as he pointed over the wall at the drill
The Earth King looked at the drill and then looked at the battlefield around the drill, before he shook his head "I can't believe this" he said.
"That's not a Fire Nation drill, your Highness. It is merely a construction tool, to help make the wall stronger" Long Feng said, as he walked over, with two Dai Li agents behind him.
"Oh really? Then explain why the Fire Nation symbol is on it" Katara said with a smirk, as she crossed her arms.
"Local machinery is untrustworthy, so we imported it," Long Feng said simply.
["Really? That's the best you got?"] Kurama asked with a flat tone of voice.
Long Feng scowled at Kurama, before he noticed the look the Earth King was giving him. "Are you gonna believe them over me? I have been your advisor for years!" he said.
"Yea, and we have provided proof that you have done nothing but mess with us," Naruto said firmly, as he looked at Long Feng with his arms folded.
"Dai Li, arrest Long Feng at once" the Earth King said with a hard tone, as he pointed at his soon to be ex adviser.
The two Dai Li agents looked at each other for a moment, before they launched cuffs at Long Feng and cuffed him and dragged him to them.
"What?! You can't do this to me!" Long Feng yelled, as he was dragged away.
"He can and he just did, jackass" Will said with a smirk, as she pulled her eye down and stuck her tongue out, while Kurama gave him a raspberry.
"Finally! Things are going our way in this hellhole!" Toph yelled with a grin, as she threw her fists in the air.
This got some laughs from the others, before they decided to make their way back to the palace with the Earth King.

(Later, back at the palace)
Once they all got back to the palace, the King was sitting on his throne, while everyone was sitting in front of him, as Bosco sat next to him.
"I can't believe that my most trusted adviser was lying to me, that we've been at war with the Fire Nation for over a century" the Earth King said, as he held his forehead.
["Yea, it's a pretty shitty situation - oi!"] Kurama was saying, before Katara slapped him on the back of his head.
"Your Majesty, I know this is a lot to take in, but we are here because we have a plan to end the war, that you could help us with" Sokka said, as he stepped forward.
The Earth King looked up at this, before nodding, signaling for them to continue.
Zuko stepped forward at this, seeing as he knew the most about this. "In a few months time, a solar eclipse will come that will take away my nation's bending for a short time. This will be the perfect time to mount an attack" he said.
The Earth King frowned at this. "To mount an attack on the Fire Nation, would mean moving troops out of Ba Sing Sae, leaving it defenseless" he said, as he shook his head at this.
"Your Majesty, this is the best chance we have to end the war" Yue said as she frowned.
"Yea, and with all do respect your Majesty, Ba Sing Sae has been neutral long enough" Naruto said, as he crossed his arms.
"Yea, and as the master of neutral jing, even I'm thinking that it's time for this city to finally do something to help end this war" Toph said as she nodded at this.
The Earth King held his chin, as he thought about this, before he looked at everyone. "Very well, you all have my support" he said, as he nodded at them
The group all smiled at this, glad to have the King's help.
"Hey, what about calling in all of the allies we've made around the world? I'm sure that they'd love to help us" Aang said with a smile.
"I'll be sure to make sure the leaders of my army will make contact with them. Just give them the list" the Earth King said, as he nodded at Aang.
"We should ask my uncle to help with planning, as he'll know of any secret passageways that could help us," Zuko said.
"Your uncle?" the Earth King asked curiously at this.
["The Dragon of the West"] Kurama said with a smile.
The Earth King sputtered at this, as he slightly paled a bit, as he knew this name as he knew some of his city's history.
"Thanks Kurama" Naruto said with a flat tone at his spirit friend.
["No problem"] Kurama said with a grin, before he started to snicker.

(Later with Naruto)
Naruto was walking in the Lower Ring of the city, as he approached the apartment that Azula, Mai and Ty Lee were staying in.
He soon knocked on the door of the apartment, and as he reached the third knock, the door opened and he was tackled into a hug by Ty Lee.
"This is gonna be a theme with you, isn't it?" Naruto asked as he chuckled.
"Yup!" Ty Lee said happily, as she rubbed her cheek against his.
"You saw him the other day," Mai said with a flat tone, as she came outside.
"And I still missed him, and don't deny it. You missed him too" Ty Lee said, as she looked up at Mai.
"Oh really?" Naruto asked with a smirk, as he raised an eyebrow at Mai.
"Well, you're not that bad," Mai said with a coy smile, as Naruto got up, with Ty Lee hugging his arm.
"Where's Azula?" Naruto asked as he, Ty Lee and Mai entered the apartment, with Naruto closing the door.
"She's in her room, trying to meditate and stay focused" Ty Lee said, as she sat down at a table in the living area, while she gestured to a doorway to a room.
"She's bored, cause she has nothing to do, seeing as she can't practice her Firebending or hunt you or the Avatar anymore" Mai said, as she drank some tea.
"Um, is she doing ok with the truce?" Naruto whispered to them.
"I'm doing fine, whiskers. What do you want?" Azula asked, as she came out of her room.
"I wanted to tell you that we met with the Earth King, and that -" Naruto was telling her, before Azula cut him off.
"If you're wanting to make sure that I'm not gonna betray you and ruin your plans, then rest assured that Ty Lee, Mai and your harem have made it hard for me to even think of trying anything," Azula said as she sat down on a couch.
"...why, what have they done?" Naruto asked after a moment of silence.
"Nothing. Will and your other girls have been taking me out to hang out" Azula said, as she made air quotes.
Naruto blinked at this, before he smiled a little. "Ah, I get it. They are being nice to you and you're actually getting attached to them" he said, as he sat down on the couch.
Azula said nothing to this, as she gained an emotionless look on her face, while Ty Lee giggled and Mai chuckled.
"It's not a weakness to be attached to your friends, Azula. If anything, I find it cute" Naruto said, as he smiled at her, while he reached for her hand and held it.
Azula hesitated at this, but didn't pull away.
"Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss" Ty Lee chanted with a wide grin.
Azula quickly pulled her hand away from Naruto's at this, and looked at Ty Lee in annoyance.
"Good job," Mai said with a flat tone, while Ty Lee pouted.
"Ok ladies, seeing as I had a great day today, how about we celebrate and I take you three out?" Naruto asked with a grin.
"Yay! More shopping!" Ty Lee yelled excitedly.
"Ugh" Azula groaned, as she held her forehead at this.
"Sorry Ty Lee, no shopping this time," Naruto said with a chuckle.
Ty Lee pouted cutely at this, as she folded her arms.
"Relax. Will suggested something that I think you all will like" Naruto said, as he took out what looked like three tickets.
"A spa?" Mai asked curiously, as she read the tickets.
"Yea. Will and the others went to this place together, and had fun together. So I figured you guys hadn't had a lot of fun like this since you left home, so I figured I could spoil you a bit" Naruto said with a chuckle, as he handed them each a ticket.
"A spa? Are you trying to suck up to the princess of the Fire Nation?" Azula asked, raising an eyebrow at this, as she looked at the ticket.
"Is it working?" Naruto asked with a grin.
Azula chuckled at this, before she approached Naruto and trailed a finger under his chin. "You keep it up whiskers, and you will be a very happy man" she said as she smiled, as she trailed her finger under his chin.
Naruto blushed at this, before he growled a little, making Azula's smile grow bigger.
"Oooooo" Ty Lee said, as she giggled at this.
"Since when can you flirt?" Mai asked curiously with a cocked eyebrow.
"Will gave me a few tips. Now, come on, let's go to this spa" Azula said, as she led the way out of the apartment.

(Sometime later)
After taking the girls to the beauty spa, Naruto had then taken them out to a restaurant in the Upper Ring, and was now telling them about what had happened with the Dai Li.
"So, you're saying that instead of going straight to the Earth King, you went to rescue the Avatar's bison and your pet?" Azula asked curiously, as she ate her food.
["Oi! Who are you calling a pet, ya fat ass?!"] a voice yelled from up in a tree above them, causing Azula to choke on her food in surprise, while Ty Lee and Mai looked up at the tree branch above them
"Damn it, Kurama! Did you follow me?" Naruto asked, as he patted Azula on the back after she coughed up her food, while Kurama poked his head out of the tree branch, looking at them.
["Well, I wanted to see if these three were worth joining the team. And I gotta say, I like the gloomy one best. She's snarky, just like me"] Kurama said with a smile, as he looked down at them, before jumping down to them.
"Oh, he's adorable! Is this the same fox you had when we met?" Ty Lee asked, as she patted Kurama on the head.
"Yup, that's him" Naruto said with a nod, as he handed Azula a glass of water
"So he's a spirit?" Mai asked curiously, as she looked at Kurama.
["Indeed I am. Though I tend to not be a punk ass, like that owl in the desert"] Kurama said with a snicker.
"Hey, that so-called punk is who you should thank, for helping you become powered up," Naruto said.
["Well, I like to think it was his fox slaves who helped me"] Kurama said, as he ate a few dumplings in the middle of the table.
"Awww, you helped your fellow foxes. That's so cute" Ty Lee said, as she smiled at Kurama.
"Well, I suppose saving your spirit friend makes a little more sense," Azula said, as she looked at Kurama.
"He didn't need much saving, anyway. After we freed him, he had Long Feng's men running after he grew big and started breathing fire at them" Naruto said, as he took a dumpling before Kurama could eat it.
"Wait, he can breathe fire?" Azula asked curiously, before she looked at Kurama with a calculating look.
["You don't have a chance, princess"] Kurama said with a smirk, as he could tell what she was thinking.
"My flames are blue, so I'd say I have a good chance, furball" Azula said with a confident grin.
["I can grow to the size of a mountain"] Kurama said with a wide smirk.
"….." Azula said nothing to this, as she looked at Naruto who nodded.
"Sorry Azula, but I don't think you can beat that," Mai said, as she ate her food..
["That Long Feng couldn't step up to me, and he had the Dai Li along with control of the city, and the ear of the Earth King too"] Kurama said with a scoff
"Oi, don't get a big head. You can only be that big for a minute or two, before you need to rest" Naruto said as he shook his head.
["I don't need long to end the fight!"] Kurama yelled out in frustration, before Ty Lee shoved a dumpling in his mouth.
"Wait, this guy had control of the city and an elite squad of Earthbenders, before the Earth King ordered them to arrest him?" Azula asked curiously.
"Yea, he did. Why?" Naruto asked curiously, as Azula had a calculative look on her face.
"The Earth King is a fool to think that the Dai Li is loyal to him. If Long Feng has been in control this long, and he thinks he will just sit in his cell, then he's gonna end up getting overthrown" Azula said firmly.
Naruto paused at this, before he looked at Kurama, who swallowed his dumpling.
["I'm on it. Will was looking for an excuse to go visit him in his cell, anyway"] Kurama said before he ran off.
"Well well, look at you helping the enemy. What would your father say?" Mai asked Azula with a flat tone.
"Personally, I don't really care. I am looking to take the throne for myself, and if helping end the war does that, then so be it" Azula said with a simple tone and a shrug of her shoulders.
"You are looking to be a fair ruler though, right?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Hmmmm, I don't know. What's my incentive?" Azula asked with a coy smirk, as she looked at Naruto with a raised eyebrow.
Naruto groaned at this, getting laughs from Ty Lee and Mai. "Will is a bad influence" he said before he smiled too.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were relaxing in their office, when Deadpool barged into the office
Oh man, this is so not good! He's alive, and he's gonna kill us all! Deadpool yelled in a panic, as he paced about with his hands on his head
What are you talking about, Wade? P.O.M asked with a groan of annoyance
I'm talking about that robot bear and his animal robot friends, of course: Deadpool said
Yea, like I'm gonna buy this: Kfbanime87 said, as he pulled out his shotgun and cocked it, before he pointed it at Deadpool. Now, what are you trying to pull here?
…I wanted to look at your notes for what's next, when you finish Avengers and Airbender! Deadpool yelled out
Huh? Kfbanime87 asked with a raised eyebrow
Those are the closest to being finished: P.O.M said, as he shook his head at this
Oh. Well, I figured we could spit ball new ideas for spinoffs -: Kfbanime87 was saying, before he was cut off
My Hero Academia! Deadpool yelled out, as he held up a sign with a UA symbol on it
BANG!
Before he was shot in the head by P.O.M, who had taken Kfbanime87s shotgun
I said that I haven't read or watched that yet! P.O.M yelled
Well, it has potential: Kfbanime87 said with a shrug
YOU WANT SOME OF THIS?! P.O.M shouted, as he shoved the shotgun under Kfbanime87's chin

Anyway, incase you forgot Wade, one of the ideas is Dragon Ball, so that's one slot filled already: P.O.M said, as he tossed the shotgun away
So there is hope for my hero? Deadpool asked, as he healed
