Hi everybody! It's Draconis here, so the poll went really well and I have the next few oneshots planned out.

In order

Viridian Prime 2

115 2

An Ancient Quirk 2

Megatron (This one's going to be fun! And bloody!)

Thanos

So keep on the lookout while we work on Daily Lives of the Clones and Legion!

A bit of backstory here, but during the Dawn of Quirks, a particular subset of cybernetic quirks became prominent, these cybernetic quirk users became Cybertronians, and during the Dawn, attempted to take over much of the world. The First Prime fought to establish peace, but after they died, Cybertronians were hunted to near extinction and are hated/persecuted to the present day with the exception of the Primes.

Izuku crawled forward mustering what little strength in his body to drag himself to a better spot, every motion sending agony through his back.

And through his heart.

'W-why? Why did he betray me?'

One Year Ago

"Viridian Prime, it is a pleasure to meet you. Allow me to introduce you to my good friend, Fujiwara Keiji, Lord Protector of the Cybertronian clans, Megatronus."

Izuku shook the hand of the other armored figure, glad to meet a potentially new friend. The fellow young hero student wore gray armor and had striking red eyes. A rather pale complexion but he carried himself like a warrior, full of confidence."

Izuku hoped that he could be half as confident as he appeared to be.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Megatronus."

"The pleasure is all mine, Viridian Prime."

"Please…Viridian is just fine," Izuku said with a small grimace. Even after all this time he was still…unused to all the propriety.

The two walked toward an open area and began to talk.

"I have been waiting for this moment for quite some time," Megatronus began, leading the way.

"As have I…I never imagined that there would be more people with quirks like mine."

"Of course there are! We Cybertronians have existed since the Dawn of Quirks! It was only due to fear of the common and quirked people that we were hunted down to near extinction due to our superiority and even now we struggle to exist," Fujiwara said bitterly, Izuku slightly taken aback. The other man noticed and grimaced before slightly bowing.

"My apologies, but the history of our people is a subject I am most passionate about."

"I…also read about the history of Cybertronians…they…we used to be spread across the world."

"Indeed."

Izuku hummed as he looked over a balcony.

"I…I admit. It is hard to understand my newfound kinship with these people. I was quirkless most of my life and then this was thrust upon me," Izuku said as he looked at his armored hand.

"To find out that I am not alone…that there are those out there that I can truly call my people…it is overwhelming."

Fujiwara placed his armored hand on Izuku's shoulder and nodded solemnly.

"I understand. As Lord Protector of these people, I too shoulder a great burden. But you are no longer alone, Midoriya. Embrace your true nature as a Cybertronian, and you will better fulfill your duties as a Prime."

Fujiwara then extended his hand toward the crowds of people below them.

"And perhaps together, we can forge a new future for our kind."

Months Later

"I'm glad that you've been having so much fun, Izuku," Ibara said after quickly hugging him. With his new duties not only as a hero/hero student but also as an important Japanese figure (like all Primes before him), Izuku hadn't had much time to simply hang out with his friends and family.

Fortunately, he'd been able to keep up with his studies, an advantage of having a cybernetic mind.

The Matrix really was something wonderful. In one moment, he could be as flesh and blood as any other human, in another, purely cybernetic.

Apparently a trait by all who had cybernetic quirks to some extent. There were very few who could transform fully like him and Megatronus.

"I'm glad to be back home, too," Izuku said as he let his armor disappear into the Matrix. "Megatronus has been teaching many things about our kind…and he's even been helping me learn how to fly better. I'll get to take you on that flight like I promised."

Ibara smiled shyly as she ducked her head, feeling her own 'spark' resonate with Izuku's.

An unforeseen side effect of Izuku's pledge so long ago, and one not seen by the other Primes. Their bond had grown, from friendship to more and now they were much more intertwined. Capable of feeling each other from across the country, perhaps even the world.

It gave her much reassurance, especially with how much tension there was now.

"Have you seen the news?"

"I have," Izuku grimly stated. "These Decepticons have been disrupting a lot of our efforts to forge peace between Cybertronians and Japanese."

"Have you spoken with Megatronus? I would imagine that he has already denounced their actions."

"I had…thought that he would have already…I'll have to speak with him soon."

"When will you go?"

"Next week…I promised that I'd stay here with you and the others for at least a week…I intend to keep that promise."

Ibara smiled softly and laid her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her.

Soon enough their friends would be there too, but for now…

They would enjoy the moment.

"Megatronus, I'm worried. These Decepticons have been causing nothing but trouble. Terrorist attacks on innocent lives! We need to do something!" Viridian said as he began to pace.

"And we are, my friend. Soundwave is already tracking them down as we speak."

"It's not just about finding them, it's about ensuring peace! Everybody is suspicious of you, we need to make a statement to the Japanese government that you aren't involved. I've been trying to placate them, but it's getting worse."

Megatronus sighed and laid his hand on Viridian's shoulder.

"I know you're worried, and I appreciate your concern my friend. I swear to you, everything will be cleared up in the end. Justice will finally be delivered to our people."

Viridian sighed in frustration and nodded.

"Alright…I trust you."

"Viridian! It's chaos out in the streets! We need backup, Decepticons are appearing all over the city! There's too many, the numbers we were given were all wrong!"

"Come on, Megatronus! We need to go!"

Izuku moved forward sword in hand and grabbed the door handle.

He paused as he heard no movement behind him.

Turning back he stared confused at his friend who merely stayed still.

"Megatronus?"

"It's time that we talk, Viridian."

A chill went down his spine…and he faced a truth he'd dared not consider.

"You knew about this…didn't you?"

"I did."

"All the resources they have, the increased numbers, the diversionary tactics, never being able to find them…you're supporting them, aren't you?"

"Not only that, I am the leader of the Decepticons."

"Megatronus…" Izuku gasped as he leaned against the wall. "How could you? All those people that died! Dying! Peace will never be achieved now!"

"Peace was never an option, Viridian. As long as Cybertronians exist, humanity will always fear them. We are reviled even more than the quirkless, the Creature Rejection Clan, Villains, everyone! All because of our past!"

Megatronus stepped forward and snarled.

"But no more! Here and now it ends. My Decepticons will restore this world to a new order, one where no Cybertronian will live in fear!"

"By forcing that fear unto others? It will only make things worse!"

"If I was alone, yes! But that's why you're so important, Izuku!"

Izuku paused, now utterly confused.

"What?"

"The people adore the Primes, have so since the beginning. Let the Decepticons take over the Diet, then you and I can intercede and place ourselves in charge as a 'compromise', painting ourselves as saviors and intermediaries," Megatronus continued, smiling wickedly.

"We could establish true peace. Rule this country, change the laws, champion those that have been trodden upon!"

He then extended his hand.

"All I need…is your help, Izuku. Transform and Rise Up! Join me…and we can fix this broken world."

Izuku began to breathe heavily as he stared at Megatronus' hand.

"Just imagine. No more children being hurt, no more discrimination against Cybertronian, quirkless…anybody!"

It was…tempting.

"You could be the hero this world needs, lauded for bringing in a New Age of Peace. One that All Might was never able to bring."

He could see it. Going to the Diet with Megatronus and pleading the cause. Setting up a meeting with the 'leaders' of the Decepticons and becoming the mediator.

No more children being hurt.

No more discrimination.

Peace.

But…at what cost?

"I am sorry, Megatronus…but I cannot condone such needless bloodshed. I too, desire the freedom of our people, but not at such great cost…I will fight for our people…all of them," Viridian said as he walked out of the room and onto a large open balcony.

Willing the Matrix to transform him, his body changed once more and he leaped into the air, the familiar feeling of shifting machinery comforting him as his jets began to roar and he soared off towards the battle.

Or he tried to.

"AGH!"

"A pity," Megatronus snarled as he gripped onto Viridian's wings, preventing him from flying away.

"Megatronus! Please, stop this!"

His friend snarled and spun, throwing him to the other side of the balcony where he transformed back.

"I had hoped better of you, Viridian Prime. But I see that your idealism and naivete will have to be suppressed if my plans are to bear fruit."

"Megatronus, stop this! I don't want to fight you!" Viridian yelled as he pulled out his sword to defend himself.

"And neither do I, my old friend. But you've left me no choice!" Megatronus roared as they clashed.

Viridian was quick on the defensive, but the pain of his now damaged wings slowed him.

And he could not bear to hurt his friend.

"Megatronus please! There has to be another way!"

"There is no other way, Viridian! This is our justice, and I'll not have you stand in my way!"

Finally, Megatronus, as the known superior fighter, grabbed Viridian's wrist and wrenched it back, forcing him to drop his sword as he gasped in pain.

Striking him with a backfist and disorienting him, Megatronus then slammed him down to the ground and planted his foot on his back, right between his wings.

"Aargh…Megatronus!"

"I am sorry, my friend. But I cannot have you interfere."

Izuku stilled as he felt harsh hands grab his wings.

"W-wait, Megatronus, please! You wouldn't!"

Megatronus did not reply.

And pulled.

Ibara was already growing weary, she hadn't heard from Izuku and she felt a sudden spark of shock, pain and fear from him earlier as well as the phantom sting of cuts.

She hoped that he and Megatronus were alright.

"Templar! We've got more Decepticons heading towards the Diet!"

"Then we'll need to-"

Ibara choked as agony seared itself across her back like the fires of hell had been branded into her skin.

The pain was horrendous and she fell to her knees as the world seemed to mute itself, the colors dimming, black tinting at the edge of her vision.

Slowly she could hear sound again, as screaming began to fill her eyes alongside people trying to get her attention and help her.

It was only when she finally took a breath that she realized the screaming came from her.

"Templar! Ibara! What's wrong!?"

Ibara gasped and sobbed out words with no meaning, barely able to center herself.

"S-something's wrong…Izuku, he's hurt…I don't know what happened, but it's bad!"

"Damn it. All units, I've gotten a report that Viridian Prime may be seriously injured, still no sign of either him or Megatronus, keep fighting!"

"Come on! Let's get you out of here."

Ibara could only wearily stand and let herself be guided away from the fight.

Her heart ached in worry and fear.

She could only hope that Izuku would be alright.

"When we take over the Diet, I will instate myself as the new leader of Japan. After that, I will return for you and restore your wings, I promise you that much, Viridian."

Izuku sobbed in agony as he tried to crawl forward to where his wings were while Megatronus walked away.

He fell into blissful unconsciousness.

Inside the Matrix he found himself comforted by Orion.

"I…I thought he was my friend…my brother…but he's been using me this entire time!" Izuku sobbed as Orion gently held him.

"I know…"

"I just wanted to help our people…"

"As did all of us."

"I failed you."

Orion moved to speak but was cut off by another.

"You did not fail us boy. It is we who failed you."

Both he and Orion turned to see Sentinel Prime appear in the Matrix as well as a few others.

"We were the ones who pushed for you to ally with that traitor Megatronus, we were the ones who told you to ignore the signs of a hidden enemy, mistaking them for the stresses of a troubled leader."

"We were blinded by our joy at having our kind restored, and the opportunity for peace, just as you. But we are wiser, we see that which you do not…we should have noticed the signs from within the Matrix. But we did not, and you paid the cost," Micronus Prime said with self-deprecation.

"We are sorry, Viridian. We failed you."

Izuku could only bow his hold onto Orion tighter, the pain in his back, even inside the Matrix still aching tremendously.

"W-what do we do? I can't fly to the battlefield…and I can't figh-urk!"

Izuku hunched over as he felt a pain that wasn't his own.

"Ibara!"

"She must be on the battlefield…Megatronus is going to be there!"

"Orion, please! There has to be something we can do!"

Orion gulped and looked at the others before turning to Izuku and nodding slowly.

"This is one thing possible…but it will require your greatest sacrifice yet."

Izuku could only nod and Orion began to explain.

Chaos rampaged through the streets as more and more Decepticons crawled out of the woodwork and decimated police and heroes alike. Multiple civilians had fallen under the rampage and at this point the heroes were just trying their best to keep people alive.

The sound of the air screaming brought their attention to a grey jet in the air and many cheered.

"It's Megatronus! We're saved! Viridian Prime should be nearby!"

The jet slowed down and transformed on top of a building, Megatronus proudly holding his sword as the battles paused, waiting in anticipation for him to take action.

"DECEPTICONS! DESTROY THEM ALL!"

Panic descended on the defenders as the Decepticons attacked with renewed vigor. Megatronus himself used his personal cannon to blast away a hero that tried to attack him and stabbed another with his sword.

"MEGATRONUS! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?" Ibara shouted out before wincing in pain.

"The end of my people's suffering. I will destroy the very framework of this society and reforge it to something worthy of all Cybertronians!"

"You've sided with the Decepticons all this time!?" Ibara yelled as she readied her vines and her sword.

Megatronus laughed sadistically.

"I not only supported it. I started the movement!"

"This betrayal will not go unpunished!"

"Do you really hope to have a chance against me, Templar? When not even Viridian could strike him down?"

Ibara stilled.

"Where is he, Megatronus?"

"Currently indisposed of. But rest assured, you'll be reunited with him soon enough!"

The two charged and struck.

The difference in strength was immediately noticed as Ibara was pushed back, barely able to keep her sword in her grip.

"Templar. You are no Viridian Prime," Megatronus mocked before striking again.

The two fought for the next few minutes, although it was easy to tell that Megatronus was toying with her, barely putting any force in his strikes and merely dodging his blade.

Finally having enough he brutally punched her breast plate and sent her crashing into a wall.

"I can't have you interfering Ibara, but relax, you'll be reunited with your dearly beloved soon enough. He'll need someone to play nurse during his recovery," Megatronus scorned before a horn caught his attention.

Near the rooftop they were on was a highway and barreling down that highway was a large truck that burst through the barrier and impacted directly with him.

"AGH!"

Megatronus hit the ground with a groan and heard a war cry before something crashed on top of him and he felt rubber grinding into his face.

Megatronus wildly reached out and managed to grab his opponent's head and tossed him away.

"WHO DARES!?" Megatronus roared as he got up but still blinded by the grinding was unprepared for the next blow to the head.

He tried to swing blindly but was swiftly countered by blows that devastated his body and strength.

Forced back by another blow, he was finally able to wipe the rubber from his eyes and gasped as he saw Viridian charge at him with another war cry before receiving another brutal punch that sent him flying down the street.

Megatronus grunted as he hit the ground harshly and groaned weakly.

"Urgh…you…you sacrificed your wings? Took on your predecessor's form!? You know that you'll never be able to fly under your own power again, right?"

"A sacrifice that needed to be made," The combined voice of Viridian and Optimus Prime announced as he prepared his sword. "One that I took willingly."

Megatronus laughed as he got back up to his feet, stumbling slightly.

"So…this is how it's going to be, Izuku?"

"Keiji…I would have forgiven you for taking my wings…but I cannot forgive the loss of life you have incurred."

"What about the loss of Cybertronian lives, do they matter so little?"

"Do not put words in my mouth…because of your actions today, any chance of peace for our people has been lost and many more will perish."

"Then let this battle decide the future of our race!"

"So be it. Megatronus! Today you answer for your crimes against Cybertronians and against humanity. One shall stand!"

"And one shall fall! YOU, VIRIDIAN PRIME!"
