Elentear - Selene's Temple
"[Moon Dragon Talon]!" My left leg is shrouded in white light as I charge at Selene with a high kick.
… only for the woman to simply block my attack with a fan.
"You're putting too much focus into your enemy. You need to take into account your surroundings as well." Selene opens her fan, creating a shockwave that sends me back. "Do it again."
I take a deep breath and straighten myself. It's been over four months since I've accepted Selene's offer to become her dragon slayer. Since then, she's been teaching a variety of techniques, most of which are universal with [Dragon Slayers].
Techniques like [Roar], [Fist], and [Kick] or [Talon] in her case. When I first tried using [Roar], Selene scolded me for using it wrong. She said that when dragons roar they don't use their own magical power, rather they "breathe their element" and release it in one large burst. What that means is that when dragons breathe, they're converting the ambient Ethernano in their lungs into their innate element and breathing it out. Eating moonlight also helps accelerate the conversion process as well as increasing its attack power and range.
It felt so weird eating moonlight for the first time, sucking it in like a vacuum and all, though Selene comments that she doesn't need to physically eat the light as her body simply absorbs it whenever the moon is out.
The next technique she taught me was [Fist] and [Talon] since they both follow the same principle. To use the technique, you have to cover your arms and legs with [Dragon Slayer] magic which will not only cause sheer blunt damage, but damage from the moonlight. It also doubles as a shield from enemy attacks.
A simple method to learn considering [Aura] does the same thing.
The [Wing Attack] was a little difficult to master. The principle behind it is molding your magic into a shape. In this case, a pair of whips that act as dragon wings. To do this, you need to use two techniques together, layering on top of one another and combining them. Of course, she didn't tell me this outright. Instead, she had me punch a rock.
Over, and over, and over.
For every minute, of every hour of every day. Just punching a rock.
Needless to say, Selene was dumbstruck when I finally mastered it in under a week.
Next came the more complicated spells. First, there was [Celestial Wing] which is basically the next level of the [Wing Attack]. It follows the same steps but on a bigger scale.
Basically, it turns my arms into literal shooting stars.
The first time I used it, I blew a large hole in the temple. Thankfully, no one was in that section of the temple so there were no deaths. I used [Nemesis] to repair the damage although Selene was very keen on me fixing it by hand.
She's a sadist dragon, that one.
Also, did you know she had kids? Yeah, she's a full-on MILF!
I raise my arm and open my hand out to her. "[Moonlight Palm]!" A blast of moonlight launches towards Selene, but the dragon god simply smacks it away. The deflected beam hits a nearby mountain, eviscerating it in an instant.
"..." Selene looks at her hand and sees the burn marks on it. "That actually stung." She looks at me and smiles. "You've come a long way. But don't think you're out of the woods yet. [Moonlight Blade]!" She swipes her arm sideways, firing numerous crescent blades made of moonlight at me.
"[Payback]!" Reality glitches and crumbles, turning into a void as everything is erased except for myself and my opponent, but from her viewpoint nothing's changed.
I step aside, letting the energy blades slowly pass by as I make my way behind her.
"Time returns its progression." On command, reality returns to normal. "[Fire Dragon Roar]!"
Selene only has time to glance before the torrent of flames hurls her straight towards a wall of stone.
"... what a frightening spirit. To erase even my perception of time is nothing short of impressive." Selene pulls herself out of the rocks. "Still haven't figured out how to dual wield your magic?"
I scratch my cheek. "Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how to merge them together." For over a month, I've been trying to merge [Moon Dragon Slayer] magic with [Fire Dragon Slayer] magic, but so far I haven't made much progress. Apparently it has something to do with the elements being too different and the mastery one has over said elements.
Seriously, Natsu and Gajeel make it look so easy. Why am I the only one who's struggling with this!?
"I'm sure you will figure it out." Selene said.
"You're still not gonna tell me?" I deadpanned.
"Ara, how will the student learn if the master keeps giving him a handicap?" Selene chuckles. "You need to figure this out for yourself."
I sigh but smile a little. "Okay."

The scene changes to the temple hot spring as I take a seat near one of the dragon fountains.

I collapse on a soft futon. Selene provided me with a room for me to stay in while training. The room was exactly what you'd find in Japan except it's more luxurious and spacious. There's a window to my right where the moon hangs peacefully in the sky shining its light straight at me.

[Moon Dragon Slayer LVL. 3/10]
A form of Dragon Slayer Magic that allows its user to generate, manipulate, and presumably consume (like other forms of Dragon Slayer Magic) the element in question, which in this case the stars and the moon. The user can use this Magic to make their surroundings appear to be at nighttime with its own artificial moon and use it to create an explosion that transports its targets into a different world. The user is also capable of manipulating "moonlight" energy and uses it to attack as well as forming butterfly and blade constructs of it.

My [Stand]'s power is far above the rest. Not only is it destructive, but also insanely durable. I had it fight Mimi and, while she couldn't outright see like Yoko, Hakune, and Selene, she could still sense its presence through mine like a twin.
Selene ordered her to go full power, which she complied without hesitation and immediately went for the kill. [Payback] blocked it and sent a barrage of punches at Mimi, sending her out of the arena.
Selene was disappointed by her divinities' performance but because this was a simple spar, she only grounded her.
Next, I tested its range, and damn can it travel. It is able to travel at least 30 meters before stopping. Selene explains that it's because the [Stand] is tethered to my spirit energy and the further it gets, the less spirit energy it gets from me. If it were to travel beyond this limit, the connection is cut and the [Stand] will cease to exist.
Next, I tested [Payback]'s precision. It was able to spot a tiny crumb of crackers that was hidden between the tatami mats as well as remove a tiny rock that was tangled in one of Yoko's braids. It also has eagle-like eyesight, able to spot a village just 7 kilometers from Black Moon Mountain.
Overall, I'd put [Payback] on the same pedestal as [Star Platinum], [King Crimson], [Gold Experience] and [The World].

It is a special blade used by Demon Slayers made specifically for the purpose of slaying demons. They are forged with Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore, both of which are found on high mountains like the Sunlight Mountain, which is perpetually bathed in sunlight all throughout the year on Mount Yoko.
As they constantly absorb sunlight, decapitating demons with Nichirin Swords can permanently kill them. Once their neck-bone is slashed by the weapon, their heads and bodies disintegrate into ash in a similar fashion to when exposed to sunlight. However, Nichirin Swords are less effective when used to slash other parts of a demon's body, making beheading the only viable option for Demon Slayers. Nichirin Swords change color depending upon the user, making each blade unique. They can be of many colors and each one is said to impart certain properties to the blade.

"I should contact the others. See how they're doing." Before I got started on training, Selene gave me permission to return to Earthland to visit my home. When I got there, it was still in ruins and I found Lamy and Torafuzar sitting amongst the wreckage. You can imagine how ecstatic they were when they saw me.
I told them about the deal and while Torafuzar seemed okay with it, I could tell Lamy wasn't; extremely so. Before I went back, I left 1,000 clones and [Handles] with them to finish the repairs, as well as a Scroll to keep in touch. I gave Lamy a hug and a head pad before going back to Elentear.
I pull out my Scroll and type in the number and it begins to ring.
At the same time
A metal head suddenly lights up. "INCOMING TRANSMISSION DETECTED."
"Where is it from?" Lamy asked.
"IT ORIGINATES FROM THE DIMENSION ELENTEAR."
Lamy's eyes widened. "Patch it through, now!"
"OPENING COMMUNICATIONS CHANNEL."
Back in Elentear
The Scroll continues to ring until someone picks up. "Hello-"
"MAAAAASSSSSSTTTTTEEEEERRRRR!" The cutesy voice of Lamy rings out from the speakers.
I smile. "Hello, Lamy."
"Do you know how long it's been since I heard your voice!? Four months! You never called, you never visited! I thought you died!" Lamy cried.
"Sorry, sorry. Selene was very keen on me not taking breaks." I said. "So, how's everything back on Earthland?"
"Hm~" Lamy hums on the other end. "Well, the repairs on the [Ruby Palace] are complete. The clones decided to recreate the throne room from scratch. It looks so cool~"
"I look forward to seeing it." I said, though I had a good idea what the throne looks like.
"But there's also something else you need to know." Lamy's tone goes from cheerful to serious in an instant. "Fairy Tail is missing."
I blink in surprise. "... what?"
"Fairy Tail, the entire guild building is deserted." Lamy elaborates. "Handles has been monitoring Fiore for a few days, and there has been no activity inside the guild building."
I narrow my eyes. "I know what's going on."
"You do?"
"Have you ever heard of a being known as the [White Wizard]?" I asked.
"The [White Wizard]!? But that can't be!? Why now!?" Lamy exclaims.
'So, Tartaros knew of her existence as well.' I thought. "Lamy, I need you to put the palace on absolute lockdown. I believe the [White Wizard] is targeting the Earthland's strongest mages."
"How do you know that!?"
"Call it a hunch." I shrug. "Anyways, they're likely heading towards Guiltina where the Dragon Gods are. She likely also has the rest of the guild under her control. If she succeeds, then there'll be no one who can stop her."
"What do we- don't tell you're going to fight them!?" Lamy exclaims.
"Yup~ I'm just dying to test out my new magic." I said.
"You can't! What if the [White Wizard] takes control of you!?"
'I doubt it. If [Gamer's Mind] can stop me from having emotional outbursts, it can likely stop brainwashing.' I thought. "I'll be fine, don't worry. I'm the [Demon Lord], remember?"
"Yeah, but you're MY [Demon Lord], so you better survive, got it?" Lamy said.
'So forward.' "I will. I'll see you later." I hung up. "Now, I just gotta convince Selene to send me to Earthland."
"There is no need for that. You already have my blessing."
I turn around and see Selene standing by the door. "How much did you hear?"
"All of it. You are much louder than you think." Selene remarks. "Actually, it's fortunate that you are going back to Earthland, I have plans for those [Dragon Slayers] myself."
"Hm," I pondered for a moment. "I think I know a way to lure them here."
Selene's smile widens as I explain my plan. "Oh, you really are a devil~"
I smirked. "So, is that yes?"
She jumps forward and gives me a deep kiss. "Do you even need to ask?~"

On top of a hill overlooking a city, a watery vortex appears and I step out of it.
"So this is Drasil." I said, staring at the beautiful city below. "It's nice."

The city of Drasil is huge. People are walking around and there are shops and restaurants everywhere.
"That is one weird-looking bakery." I comment as I stare at the building.

"No, that's not it at all." I scratch my head. "It's weird, but I feel like I'm forgetting something important…"
"Gray-sama, please look at this! This bakery is so cute!"
"Hm?" I look to my side and beside me is a smiling woman with azure hair which she lets fall in thick waves, reaching her shoulders. She has midnight blue eyes, snow skin complexion and a slender but curvaceous figure. She is wearing a knee-high dark blue coat adorned with six, symmetrically placed, light-colored buttons on the torso and a green ribbon tied to the neck. The coat is garnished with fur trimmings around her sleeve cuffs and neck. She wears a blue long skirt with her left leg exposed showing her blue Fairy Tail Guild stamp on her thigh and a blue sash tied around her waist with high knee socks and blue shoes. To top it off, she wears a matching, dark, Russian-style hat, stylized with a light-colored flower clip, which, in itself, is attached to the fur trimming garnishing her hat.

"WHOA!" Shock plashed all over Happy's face. "How did you know that?"
"He just said he was a traveler. Weren't you paying attention?" Carla asked.
I can't help but smile although [Gamer's Mind] is keeping me from going full-on fanboy on these guys. I grew up watching Fairy Tail, from beginning to end, and although there were some things that I found cringy I was genuinely entertained and would look forward to the next episode. Then there's the fanservice.
Good lord, there was a lot of fanservice. It was basically soft-core porn at the end of the day.
"So, I'm guessing that you're here to do the rumored super hard quest with a 100% fatality rate, yes?" This caught the Fairy Tail wizards off guard. "Oh, don't give me that look. It's not that hard to figure out. Plus, I may or may not have heard it from Gildarts in a bar one time. Then again if I was that drunk I would likely sing like a canary."
Everyone sweat drops, well, except one.
"Wait, you know Gildarts!? Are you strong!?" Natsu exclaims.
I give him a so-so gesture. "I know some magic but I'm nowhere near as strong as you, Natsu-san."
"In that case, let's have a fight! I wanna see what you're made of!" Natsu demands only to get smacked in the back of the head by Lucy.
"Will you stop that!? You can't just ask everyone for a fight!" She then turns and bows. "I am sorry, sir!"
I give her a small wave. "It's fine, Lucy-san. I don't mind at all. In fact, I would love to."
"Huh!?/Really!?" Both Lucy and Natsu said.
"Yeah! It's not everyday you meet your heroes, let alone have them challenge you." I exclaimed. "Though, we obviously can't do it here." I turn around and walk towards the city gates. "Follow me, I know the perfect place."
"Oh yeah! I'm all fired up! Let's go, Happy!" Natsu exclaims and follows him.
"Aye, sir!" Happy agrees.
"Wait," We both stop and turn to Erza. "You still haven't told us your name."
"Oh, right. How rude of me." I smile at them. "My name's Asmodeus. Nice to meet ya~"
For some reason, seeing Asmodeus' smile made the girls' faces heat up. 'He's so handsome…'
"Huh!?" Gray looks at Juvia's flustered face. "Are you getting a fever or somethin'?"
N-N-N-NO! NOTHING'S WRONG! YOU ARE THE ONLY MAN FOR JUVIA, GRAY-SAMA!" Juvia yells out loud.
"I-Idiot! Don't say things like that out loud!" Gray complained.

In the forest outside of Drasil, Natsu and co stand inside a large clearing. The two combatants stand on each end of the area while the others stand in the corner.
"What do you think? I found it earlier before I got to Drasil." I said.
"It's great, now I feel like I can go all out!" Natsu yells with excitement.
"Natsu… be careful." Lucy whispers.
"[Fire Dragon's Roar]!" Opening his jaws, Natsu unleashes a torrent of flames straight towards his target.
However, before the attack could connect, Asmodeus vanished, letting the flames collide with the trees!
"Huh!? Where did he go!?" Happy exclaims.
Natsu looks around but sees no signs of him. Suddenly, Natsu feels a presence from behind and when he turns to look, he is met with a kick to the face that pushes him to the other side of the clearing!
"Natsu!" Lucy, Wendy and Happy cry out.
Erza, Gray, Juvia, and Carla were shocked by this.
"Ouch…" Natsu groans as he gets up. "That hurts, you jerk!"
"I thought that was the point." I said.
"Oh, you're a wise guy, huh? Well, let's see how you like this!" He lights up his foot in flames. "[Fire Dragon Talon]!" He uses one of his arms to spin and kick him in the knees, sending him tumbling to the ground.
Natsu wastes no time and gets back on his feet. He reels his arm back and ignites it and charges forward. "[Fire Dragon Iron Fist]!"
Everyone expected Asmodeus to cartwheel away or use his magic, but what they got shocked them.
Asmodeus raises his right arm and catches Natsu's punch, unaffected by the burning flames.
"W-He caught it!? How did he do that!?" Lucy exclaims.
"More importantly, how is he not getting burned." Erza adds as she stares at the boy. 'There's something off about him'
Natsu struggles to break his grip. "H-Hey! Lemme go!" His instincts suddenly go into overdrive as he senses an oppressive aura coming from Asmodeus as his head slowly looks at him and Natsu gets a good look at his silver eyes.
His cold, empty silver eyes.
"!" Natsu is frozen by the sudden animosity, so he didn't react when he headbutted him, causing him to fall to the ground unconscious.
I stand up and massage my forehead. "Looks like we got a winner."
"Natsu!" Lucy, Wendy and Happy jump towards their friend.
I scratch my head. 'Maybe I took it too far? I didn't wanna hurt him.'
"Wendy, how is he?" Lucy asked.
Wendy sighs. "He's fine, just unconscious."
Everyone lets out a sigh in relief.
Just then, Natsu's eyes snap open and immediately rises up. "Hey, I wanna rematch! You didn't even use your magic!"
"Hahahaha, sorry. Looks like I'm just a bit stronger than you." I remark, holding my thumb and index finger together to show a small gap.
This just makes Natsu more irritated. "Oh yeah!? Well, next time I'm gonna make you use your magic and beat you!"

Natsu gives me his signature smile. "Awesome!"
"Hey guys, it's getting late. We should get to an inn." Gray said.
Lucy sighs. "Good idea, I'm exhausted from all this walking."
"Okay, see ya in the inn." Natsu waves as he flies off with Happy.
"HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING!? AT LEAST TAKE ME WITH YOU!" Lucy screams out as she chases after them.
I let out a laugh. "Those two are hilarious! Is everyone in Fairy Tail this funny!?"
Carla waves me off. "No, that's just them. The members of Fairy Tail are usually more knuckleheaded and weird."
"Carla!" Wendy scolds her cat. "You could at least say it nicely!"
"No, that's pretty accurate." Gray comments.
As everyone returns to the city, Erza stares at Asmodeus with a critical eye. 'That wasn't strengthening magic Asmodeus was using, that was his own physical strength. The fact that he was able to keep up with Natsu like that is nothing short of incredible. And yet… What was that?' She recalls the oppressive feeling she sensed. 'It was gone as soon as it appeared but it was all it took to leave Natsu wide open.' She looks at Asmodeus' back. 'Who are you, Asmodeus?'
After arriving back in Drasil, we quickly find Natsu and Happy. It wasn't that hard, just follow the flames and smoke along with the sounds of people running and screaming and you'll find them.
They were promptly arrested and put in jail with a bail so huge that Lucy and Erza both fainted.
I stepped in and paid Natsu's bail plus interest to pay for the damages he caused (not like I needed the money anyways).

After a shower of gratitude and beat down Natsu got, we found an inn to stay for the night. We rented a single room with four beds and we all got to relax.
"Hm? Juvia can't be told of the [100-Year-Quest]?" Juvia asked.
"That contract cannot be breached… while carrying the name of Fairy Tail." Erza states.
"We signed a contract, so there's nothing we can do." Wendy adds. "I feel so bad because you came all the way here."
"Yes… that's fine." Juvia said in clear disappointment.
"In that case, can't you just add her as a member of your team?" I asked.
"No… once we sign the contract, it is final." Erza replies.
"But… that means that she can't spend time with us." Lucy said, saddened.
"Juvia will go home right away." She leans closer to Gray, her large breasts pressing on his chest. "After all, Juvia's only objective was to get a glance of Gray-sama~"
I stare at the two with a tinge of jealousy. 'Damnit Gray. Can't you see how much this girl wants to get into your pants!?'
Gray looks uneasy. "Just wait patiently…"
"Gray-sama promises to come back?" Juvia asks with a cute head tilt.
"Of course I will come back eventually." Gray assures her.
Juvia sighs. "Juvia is always so worried."
"There's nothing to worry about. We are here with him." Lucy assures her with a smile.
Juvia gives her a blank stare. "Juvia is most worried that Lucy is near him. Love rivals."
Lucy blacks up a little. "Don't worry about that either…"
[Juvia has nothing to worry about. She is an absolute looker]
Natsu stands up. "In that case, let's start collecting information for work tomorrow!"
"Aye sir!" Happy chimes in.
"Sure, today let's party!" Even the cool Erza got excited.
"Yay!" Everyone cheers and gets pumped up.
"Hey, don't forget about me! I wanna party, too!" I exclaim as I join the cheer.
"Yes, new friend! Party time!"
And we did.
We found a restaurant not too far from the inn and quickly made ourselves home. We ordered a buffet of food, enough for an army before ordering more. We talked, ate, drank, and laughed like there was no tomorrow.
And that was when things spiraled out of control.
Natsu orders more food, and dares me to finish my portion before he can finish his. I won the contest and Natsu swore vengeance, ordering even more food than ever.
I suppose this should be the part where I mention that thanks to [Nemesis] the inside of my body is an empty void and everything I eat turns into [Dark Matter].
Juvia had too many drinks and was now shifting from various lewd positions for Gray with a sign that says "EAT ME~" that she got from who knows where.
Gray was absolutely slack jawed, his face a red tomato from either the alcohol or his arousal.
"Do it, Gray. Do it or I will!" I whispered in his ear.
Erza was drunk too and started barking orders to everyone in the restaurant, customers included. She then demanded a strawberry shortcake and when the waiter told her they didn't sell it… she comically punched them out through the wall.
After that, Natsu decides to have a drinking contest with me and Gray, who's already naked at this point, decides to join and the three of us drink while standing on top of the table while the workers try to get them off and Erza suddenly starts singing for some reason.
After a few more minutes, we were all kicked out and subsequently banned from the restaurant but not before making us pay for all of the food we ordered and stuff we broke.

"We got kicked out because you were so wild! How embarrassing!" Erza scolds Natsu.
"It's not just my fault!" Natsu argues.
"You were just as wild, too. With all the signing and the punching, I thought you were going to rob the place." I chimed in.
Erza blushes. "I… don't know what you're talking about!"
I smile. "Oh c'mon Erza-san, there's nothing to be embarrassed about." I then get an idea. "Hey, how about we go to a bakery and buy a strawberry shortcake?"
Erza lights up. "Really?"
"Yeah! It'll be my treat!"

Lucy eyes the city map curiously. "Hm…"
"What's wrong, Lucy-san?" Wendy asked.
"Well… I've been looking at the map of this town and look," she shows Wendy the map. "Doesn't this town have a weird shape?"
"Yes, you're right." Wendy said.
Natsu lets out a burp. "I ate way too much."
"Thank you for today." Juvia turns to Gray. "Juvia… has no intention of bothering your job… and is planning to leave by tomorrow."
Gray looks at Juvia. "I'm also glad to be able to see you for the first time in a long time."
The two mages stare at each other.
"Have… you changed a little bit?" Gray suddenly asked.
"Eh?" Juvia looks perplexed. "Is there something different?"
"Earlier today, when I asked about the guild… you hesitated for a moment, right?"
"..."
"Did something happen at the guild?" Gray asked.
"Something… at the guild…" Juvia begins to hyperventilate as she clutches her head. "I… can't remember…"
"Juvia…?"
"I remember… someone new joined the guild…" Juvia mutters. "Juvia… thinks that person is suspicious… and then…" Her eyes suddenly widened in realization.
[She broke through the brainwashing!]
"!?" Gray is caught off guard by Juvia grabbing his arms.
"Be careful with the [White Wizard]!" Juvia warns him.
"!"
Juvia then collapses in Gray's arms. "Juvia!?"
The rest of team Natsu turns to Gray.
"What happened?" Lucy asked.
"Juvia-san!?" Wendy calls out.
Gray shakes the unconscious water mage. "Hey, snap out of it! Juvia!"
"Calm down, Gray." Everyone turns to their new friend walking up to him. "She's simply suffering the backlash of forcing her way out of brainwashing."
"Brainwashing…? Juvia was brainwashed?" Gray said.
I nod. "And most likely the same goes to the rest of Fairy Tail."
"I don't understand. Who is this [White Wizard]?" Erza asked.
"Are they somehow connected to Zeref?" Wendy asked.
"Good questions girls, but now we have bigger things to worry about." I said.
Suddenly, an earthquake hits the town violently.
"W-What's going on!?" Happy exclaims.
"An earthquake!?" Lucy cried.
"No, wait! This is…" Erza began.
"The ground… is lifting up!" Gray comments.
"What's with this town!?" Natsu yelled.
"Rather than that," Lucy sees the townspeople. "The townspeople! They're all fine!?"
"Oh? Are you travelers?" Lucy looks down and sees an old woman. "You came to Drasil without any information?"
"What is this!?" Lucy demands.
I facepalmed. "Of course! How did I not see it!?"
"W-What are you talking about!?" Gray asked.
"This happens at the same time everyday, so we are used to this, but I could imagine how surprising this would be for first timers." The old woman explains.
"Everyday at the same time!?" Wendy exclaims.
"It's alright, it will stop soon. And you should sit here as well."
Lucy loses her balance and falls on Wendy. "Kya!"
"For the earth…" The old woman smiles. "Now, let's pray for the trees."
"Trees…?"
"Drasil, short for [Yggdrasil], the world tree. And one of the dragon gods uses wood magic." I explained.
Gray's eyes widened.
Lucy looks at her map and realizes it. "The city's shape… it's my hand!"
A massive shadow looms over the city.
Wendy's body trembles in fear. "Y-You don't mean that the place we're in is…"
"That's true, it's a hand. Drasil's right hand. No…" The camera zooms out revealing a massive beast with a body encompassed by all tree bark, with tree and other wood-like features adorning his. His face is mainly a large plank with small slits as his eyes and mouth, with a pair of wooden horns protruding from his head. There are cities on his left hand, shoulders and back as well.
"The [Wood Dragon God], Aldoron's right hand."
