When Jaune returned, all the girls were already asleep on his bed. He did say that he would bring them to his dream. Well, it was only supposed to be Nora, Lei, and Pyrrha, but when Jaune sent his parents to the bullhead port, Jaune asked his team to explain it to RWBY. So, their being here meant they wanted to join.

Jaune told Illya she could take the other beds as he lay down with the others. As he fell asleep, he said, "Dream Connect!"

Everything was going well when an anomaly happened. It was weird. Dream Connect was only meant to connect people in Jaune's immediate vicinity, but they had a stowaway.

In the Dreamscape, Jaune saw his team and Team RWBY, along with Illya. Jaune was not expecting her to be affected, but it was understandable as she was not too far away from him.

Ruby said, "Jaune! Is this the Dreamscape?"

Jaune nodded at her, "It is, but it looks way different from before."

He knew there would be changes in the Dreamscape due to his evolution, but the differences were crazy. The city looked like it was repaired. The Zombies were gone, and a massive tower was in the city's center.

Jaune clarified, "This place looked like a ruin before, but now it looks like an abandoned city. And the Zombies lurking around are gone. Then there is that tower that wasn't there before."

Yang then interjected, "Okay! Before we get started, who are they?"

Jaune saw Yang pointing at Illya and another person with a light brown complexion and shoulder-length straight brown hair. She had a beauty mark below her left eye.

Jaune said, "This is Illya. She is a friend I helped. As for the other one, I have no idea who she is."

The woman said, "If you wanted to know who I was, you could ask. I'm Amber, by the way. And where are we?"

Jaune said, "We are in my Dreamscape…How are you here?"

Amber said, "I don't know. The last thing I know is Ozpin putting me inside a machine to save my life. How I got here, I have no clue."

Jaune said, "Ozpin? What happened?"

Amber told Jaune about power in the world that can be passed on from female to female. She said that she was hunted down because she held this power. However, before the power was stolen, Qrow saved her.

Ruby and Yang asked, "Do you mean Qrow Branwen?"

Amber replied, "Yes. He could keep the full power away from my attacker with his timely arrival."

Jaune was thinking. It didn't take long for him to deduce the power she was talking about, "You're talking about the power of the Maiden. I remember reading that story. If the story is real, then that means you can use magic."

Amber sighed and said, "That's right. But half of the power is gone. Taken by that woman. As for me, I'm in a state of being half dead."

Jaune wanted to do something to help her, but he didn't know if it'll work. But one thing is for sure; Amber was telling the truth. And giving his idea a shot was not a bad idea.

He brought out a Complete Recovery Herb and said, "I don't know if it'll affect your body back in the real world while consuming this here, but it's worth a shot. And if it doesn't work, I'll find your body and see if it can heal it."

Amber looked at the item Jaune gave her and asked, "What is that?"

Jaune replied, "It's called Complete Recovery Herb. As the name suggests, it is a legendary item that brings about Complete Recovery."

Amber ate the herb, and her body started glowing. She felt a warm current throughout her entire body, causing her to be relaxed.

Deep beneath Beacon, a machine with a woman lying inside was glowing. The scar on her body disappeared. Her breathing was eased. However, the device sent a message to Ozpin reporting the changes in the patient.

Ozpin was shocked to read the report. He opened his scroll and called for Glynda and Qrow, saying, "Meet me at the vault in a few minutes."

With Jaune and the others, they explored the city but found no Zombies that Jaune spoke of.

Yang said, "This sucks! I wanted to kick Zombie butt!"

Jaune sighed and said, "I did tell you that the Dreamscape changed. We searched for thirty minutes and found nothing. However, there is one place we haven't checked yet."

Everyone looked at the tower in the center of the city.

When they entered the tower, there were no Zombies. However, there were many different types of monsters. From Goblins to Kobalt to Minotaurs, at least those were the ones visible.

Jaune was smiling, "This seems more exciting than before. This time, we get to explore as we head to the…lower floor? Hold on a minute!"

He looked up and saw that staircases were going up. With Jaune's speed, he was able to go quite high quickly.

Jaune was ecstatic. He said, "This place now has a place to buy and sell! No wonder some things are marked as 'Not for Sale.' This place just got better!"

The store was automated. There were statues where you would place the things you wanted to buy or sell. Jaune gave it a shot and sold some weapons he did not need. He had many.

[Beep! Varied Weapons sold! Calculating prices. Please wait… … … Amount calculated. Issuing 10,000,000 credits]

Jaune's eyes twitched, "That means that I can only use the credits here."

[Beep! Conversion of Currency is possible. 1:100]

Jaune was shocked. The conversion was crazy! One credit for a 100Lien? I'll take it! He ended up converting 1,000,000 credits to Lien. But he wouldn't know if it worked until he left the Dreamscape. According to the voice, it should be successfully deposited in his bank account with a legal source.

After Jaune sold many weapons he didn't need or found uncool, he returned to the others.

Jaune said to them, "You wouldn't know what I found. This place has a store now! You can buy armor, weapons, and other equipment. There is even a bag of holding that you can store many things in."

Jaune took out the bag of holding and gave one each. He said, "I don't know if you would be able to take it out later, but if you can't, I can always place it in my item box and give it to you."

Yang was pumped up and said, "Okay! I've been itching for a fight! Are we doing this, or what? I'm itching to fight something that isn't Grimm."

Weiss stood by Yang and said, "I agree with Yang. We came here to train and see if we can grow stronger like you, Jaune."

Ruby added, "And I want to have an epic adventure! This place looks like one of the books I've read. Dungeons are so cool! Yet, so dangerous!"

Jaune smiled and said, "Well, then. What are we all waiting for? Let's head down and see how far we can go!"

The dungeon was like a maze. Each floor had a different environment. The first floor was straightforward. Follow the path until you reach the next floor. It was relatively easy.

As experienced Huntsman or Huntresses-in-training, they weren't having difficulty on the higher floors. Though, they struggled a bit since they weren't used to fighting without the assistance of Aura. They had to be careful. This was a new experience for them.

Jaune laughed, "You guys look like you need a break."

Yang grumbled and said, "You think? You never told us that we couldn't use Aura! I'm much weaker here. And without it, I can't use my semblance."

Ruby then added, "Yeah! I couldn't use my semblance to zoom past the monsters! And I'm having difficulty using Crescent Rose without the strengthening effect of Aura!"

Jaune replied, "Isn't it great? Here, you can see all your flaws. Yang is over-relying on her Aura to absorb the energy of attacks: Weiss, you over-rely on your semblance. Ruby, you rely on your Aura to help you use your weapon. Blake, Lei, and Pyrrha didn't have immediate obvious flaws, but I saw them. Blake, you use your semblance to dodge a lot. Lei, you use your Aura to keep yourself from being exhausted. Your stamina is abysmal. Nora, you're doing fine. Pyrrha, you over-rely on your semblance with your techniques. It is subtle, but what happens if you run out of Aura? Your fighting style would become less effective."

When they heard their flaws, they flinched. However, Nora was so happy with Jaune's compliment that she jumped on him and passionately kissed him.

The girls glared at Nora, causing her to say, "What? I couldn't wait any longer. Him complimenting me pushed me over the edge!"

Admittedly, Jaune wanted to continue what happened that day with Nora. But he thought it was only spur of the moment and wouldn't happen again, but Nora kissed him. She kissed him! What did it mean?
