Ozpin, Qrow, and Glynda were watching the machine keeping Amber alive. They were making sure that there were no errors. Luckily, James Ironwood was in the city. He had engineers make sure that the machine was fully functional.

Ironwood looked at the data that worried Ozpin and said, "This doesn't make sense. How is it possible? It wasn't long ago that she was in a near-death state. But now, she is healthier than you and I. If so, why hasn't she woken up yet?"

Ozpin walked toward Ironwood and said, "I believe it has something to do with her mind not fully comprehending that her body is already healed. I think not long now; she would awaken."

Ironwood thought momentarily and said, "And once she is awake, we may be able to identify her attacker."

Ozpin nodded at Ironwood, "Yes. We can then find out the reason they are here at Beacon."

Ironwood then said, "How about Torchwick? Still not talking?"

Ozpin shook his head and said, "I'm afraid not. Whoever the person in control is, he is deathly afraid of her. Although, Mr. Arc comes in second."

Ironwood did not understand. He asked, "What do you mean?"

Ozpin replied, "It was Mr. Arc that was able to subdue Torchwick."

Ironwood was impressed, "A student was able to subdue Torchwick? I must say, your talent here at Beacon has exceeded ours at Atlas. However, do not think for a moment that we would lie flat and let you gain victory in this year's Vytal Festival."

Ozpin raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh? Is that a challenge?"

Ironwood waved his hand and said, "Take it as you might. But my students are not afraid of a little competition. They've prepared for this. After all, they knew they would be going against the Invincible Girl."

Glynda said, "Oh, James. Miss Nikos is the least of your students' problems. If there is anyone that can win this competition, it is Mr. Arc."

Ironwood nodded and said, "Right. Mr. Arc is going to be a Blackhorse in this competition. I wonder if he would be the one taking the spot for the singles."

Qrow, who was not far, said, "Really, Jimmy? We are here worried about our Maiden, and you are discussing the Vytal Festival."

Ozpin interjected and said, "Come now, Qrow. You know as well as we all do. The Vytal Festival is important. It is a symbol of peace between the kingdoms."

Qrow shook his head and took a swig of his flask.

With Jaune and the others, they were getting ready to head back to their homes.

Ruby and Yang were heading back to Patch to be with their father. This would be an excellent chance to tell their adventure tales. However, Jaune asked them not to tell anyone about the Dreamscape. Even Amber was said to tell no one. Jaune didn't know if he could trust her, but there was nothing he could do. She entered his dream by accident.

Weiss was heading back to Atlas. She wanted to meet her older sister, Winter. She couldn't wait to show her how much she improved. She still could not believe how fast she was able to increase her swordsmanship proficiency while in the Dreamscape. Who knew that in the Dreamscape, her abilities were considered abysmal? It was a shocker for all of them.

As for Blake, she was heading back to Menagerie for many reasons, but there are two main reasons. One, she plans to meet her parents. That was a given as she was ready to face them after what she did all those years ago and tell them about Jaune. And two, she wants to know the situation with the White Fang. More specifically, what is going on with Eve and Adam?

As for Jaune, Illya, and his team, it was quite a doozy. They're all heading to his hometown. It was hilarious when Pyrrha got a call from her mother, Pandora, that she would be waiting for her in Domrémy. But to make it more confusing, she was told they would gather in the Arc Manor.

As everyone boarded different bullhead, once inside, Pyrrha asked Jaune, "Are you sure your parents do not know my parents?"

Jaune nodded at her, "I'm sure. I've never heard them mention Epimetheus or Pandora. Sorry, Pyrrha. I don't know what is going on either."

Nora was smiling, "Oh! This is quite juicy! Hey, Jaune? Maybe your parents do not know Pyrrha's parents, but maybe your grandparents knew each other."

Jaune was smiling at Nora, "That may be it, Nora. But we won't be able to confirm it until we reach there. I wonder how everyone is doing back home? I left abruptly. My younger sisters are probably angry at me."

In another bullhead, Ruby and Yang were looking outside the window. Their bullhead ride was short as Patch is near Vale.

Ruby smiled as she was excited to meet their father, "I can't wait to tell Dad we got a boyfriend! I bet he is going to be surprised!"

Yang smirked, "Not only surprised but enraged. I bet he would come with us during the start of the Vytal Festival when we return to Beacon. He would want to meet Jaune. I wonder how Jaune would react?"

Ruby laughed, "Pfft! He'll be fine! I bet Dad and Uncle Qrow are going to love him! He is so sweet!"

She then saw that Yang was feeling excited. So, she asked, "What's got you so riled up?"

Yang punched her palm, saying, "I can't wait to have a spar with Dad. I've gotten so much stronger with all the fighting we've done in the Dreamscape. I might be able to best Dad this time."

Ruby merely shook her head. She couldn't believe this is what her sister is thinking of. Couldn't she once cool her head?

Again, in another bullhead, Weiss was annoyed. She was happy she was heading home to meet with her sister, but her father was irritating. She received a call from him about her doing a concert once she returned.

She scowled and said, "What kind of a father only sees his daughter as a tool to promote the company?"

Weiss sighed at her situation, but one thing got her out of her funk. She remembered how Jaune said that she looked more beautiful with a smile. Thus, she stopped scowling and put on a bright face.

She lightly slapped both cheeks, "I need to think on the bright side. I get to meet Winter…And talk to mother. Since the intelligence stat increased, I started noticing things I missed in my memories. I remembered her smiling when father beat her after an argument. The important thing is that it happens when something is happening to me. Has she been protecting me all this time? But if that was the case, why had she said nothing?"

Weiss was determined to find out the truth. Ever since she turned ten, she has hated her mother after she became a drunk, believing that her mother had neglected her.

With Blake, she was sitting by the window of the bullhead and watching as Beacon got smaller as the bullhead got further. Her heart was pounding. She was nervous. She didn't know what her parents would think of her after everything she had told them before leaving. Then, there were the things she had done while being a Fang.

Blake shook her head and thought, 'It doesn't matter. I have to face them eventually. I wish they don't hate me for everything I've done. But it is understandable if they hate me for it. Dad created the White Fang as a peaceful organization. But now, it is a symbol of death and fear.'

As Blake looked out the window, she did not see two people following her.

Ozpin was running back to the vault at Beacon, but it wasn't only him. His entire group was with him. They were shocked at what they saw the machine reported. She was waking up.

Qrow asked, "Are you serious, Oz? She's finally waking up?"

Ozpin nodded, "That's what the machine has told me. I thought it might take more time, but clearly, I was wrong. It has only been an hour since we were last here."

Ironwood said, "Nonetheless, this is a win for us. She is finally awake and healed. We do not have to worry about the remaining power getting into the wrong hands."

Ozpin acknowledged his statement, "Without the full Maiden's power, she would not be able to access the Maiden vault I hid in Vale. Although, I think they would be struggling to find it in the first place."

They heard a loud crash when they arrived in front of the machine. It was Amber smashing the door of the pod. She felt stuffy, so she destroyed the door as she did not want to wait any longer. Breaking the door was easy. She was much stronger than she was before, and that was all thanks to Jaune.
