Jaune was blocking the attacks of Ghira. The moment the man saw him, he saw fit to attack Jaune. His instincts were telling him that this was the bastard that was dating his daughter.

Jaune said, "Are you done, Mr. Belladonna? I have plans with Blake. She said she would show me around Menagerie, which I am excited about."

Kali looked at Jaune and said, "Oh, my. This is quite something. I thought Blake said her boyfriend was human. But you are not."

Jaune chuckled and said, "You can see it as a sort of Semblance." He then proceeded to make his tails disappear.

Kali was wide-eyed at what she saw. She said, "That's quite an ability."

Jaune shrugged his shoulders, "It's cool. As a kid, I used to want Faunus features like dog ears or cat ears. Now, I have a Fox tail, ears, and eyes. Plus, I got retractable claws! How cool is that?"

Ghira was still trying to pummel Jaune, but to no avail. Jaune might have had his stats reduced to 10 all-round, but his Kitsune Physiology is enhancing it when he is in this form.

Blake's father was eventually exhausted. He was sitting down beside his wife, glaring at Jaune.

Blake said, "Dad, can you stop, please? You're embarrassing me."

Ghira crossed his arms and said, "I don't see anything special in him. I don't see why you're interested in him."

Blake stood up, grabbed Jaune, and started walking out when she said, "If you're like that, then Jaune and I will be heading out and giving you time to cool off. I'll be giving Jaune a tour of Menagerie. I hope by the time we come back, you are no longer this way."

Jaune and Blake walked out. As they left the house, Jaune said to Blake, "So? That's your Dad? He seemed like a nice guy."

Blake sighed. She said, "You call that nice?"

Jaune nodded and said, "Yup! He cares about you. He is simply worried that I'm just trying to use you somehow. I would probably act the same way if I had a daughter."

Blake remembered a message she got some time ago and said, "By the way. I had this very unusual message from Nora. It was a bunch of baby pictures with a caption, Jaune's son. What is all that about?"

Jaune opened his mouth by didn't know what to say. He did so multiple times before uttering, "His name is Adrian. I guess there is no point in hiding it. Adrian is my son with Terra Cotta-Arc, my sister's wife. They wanted a child and didn't want some stranger being the donor."

Blake, hearing what Jaune said, started having a peculiar imagination. She blushed so hard that her nose started bleeding from all the blood on her face. She said, "That's like chapter ten of Ninjas of Love! Not the donor thing, the incest thing." She shook her head and showed Jaune around Menagerie.

Blake showed Jaune around the port, the place they sold fish. It turns out fish in Menagerie is cheap. He was brought to the farmer's market, where everyone buys ingredients. After that were many other things. But the important one is the desert. Blake showed Jaune why Menagerie only used a small portion of the island.

Jaune was shocked, "Are you saying that the animals residing in the desert have Aura?"

Blake nodded, saying, "Yeah, it's why they are dangerous. Not only do they have Aura, but others have their Semblance unlocked, making them highly dangerous. Plus, they are far more cunning than regular animals since they have higher intelligence thanks to their Aura."

Jaune said, "Wait. Is this the reason most of your food is fish? Or is that just what you prefer?"

Blake blushed and said, "Both. But enough about that. Are you also planning to head to Weiss, Yang, and Ruby?"

Jaune nodded. He replied, "I already visited Weiss, and I got to know her mother and learned about her father's atrocities, which reminds me. You'll want to keep your eyes on the news in the next couple of days. As for Ruby and Yang? I'll visit them when I can."

Blake nodded, "Wouldn't want them to be jealous after they find out you've been visiting us besides them. However, take caution. I heard from Yang that her Dad is out for blood after Ruby blurted out that they are both dating the same person."

Jaune asked, "Why did she never message me? That should be something I needed to know."

Blake shrugged, saying, "I doubt you need to worry about anything. Sure, her Dad is pissed at you, much like my Dad, but you can handle it just as easily."

Jaune said, "I should tell you guys I can't exert more than 30% of my maximum stats for the next year. I have a seal on me."

Blake was shocked at what she heard and said worriedly, "What happened?"

Jaune replied, "There is nothing to worry about. Nothing bad happened. This is my choice. I did promise you guys that I would find a way to create Magic Circuits for you. This sealing is the only way for me to give you the necessary tool to use magic."

Blake contested, "Yes, but at the cost of weakening you."

Jaune patted Blake on her shoulder and said, "It's only for a year. Besides, I can still increase my Level and stats along the way. No harm done."

Blake sighed and said, "Sorry. I'm just worried that something will happen while you can't bring out your full abilities. But remembering how you easily handled my Dad, I have nothing to worry about. This form of yours is still shocking."

Jaune said, "I know. Thanks to it, I didn't know I would gain a few abilities. This form is amazing. I can't wait to use it when I can unlock my full stats. Although, I can manifest the Nine-Tails and see what it can do independently."

Blake was shocked again, saying, "You can manifest the Nine-Tail? How strong is it?"

Jaune answered, "Supposedly, it was to be as strong as I am, but I don't know if it would be affected by the [Loop of Binding]. It would be something I should test out in the Dreamscape later."

As Jaune was conversing with Blake, his scroll rang. Pyrrha's message said his visitor had arrived and he wouldn't believe who it was.

Jaune looked at Blake and said, "Sorry, Blake. It seems our time together has been cut short."

Blake shook her head and said, "It's okay. I had a great time today. But promise me you will take me out on a date when we return to Beacon."

Jaune chuckled and said, "Get in line. Nora got first dibs. She even said she would do everything she could to make it a sexy time so that I would ravish her."

Blake laughed hard, saying, "In the beginning, I never would have thought Nora was such a perv...Well, I guess it's the result of reading my books. However, I don't regret it as I now have a comrade in reading Erotic Literature."

Jaune said goodbye and used [Teleport] to return to Domrémy. When he arrived, he was back in his bedroom. As he headed downstairs, he saw Amber.

Jaune exclaimed, "Amber! What are you doing here?"

Amber stood up and said, "What else? I'm here to express my gratitude. I wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for you. I could feel it. I was on the verge of death."

Jaune smiled and said, "I'm glad I was able to help."

Amber then said to Jaune, "By the way, when you return to Beacon, there is a chance Ozpin and the others will have a word with you. They are curious how you were able to meet me and how you healed me."

Jaune did not have any reaction as he anticipated it, saying, "I knew that would be the case, but thanks for the heads-up. By the way, where are you staying?"

Amber replied, "I planned to book a room at the local inn. They are cheap, and I saw they were immaculate."

Jaune shook his head and said, "You don't have to do that. Stay here with us. We have plenty of room. I doubt my parents would mind since I consider you a friend. Plus, my Mom is a hell of a cook. If you ask nicely, she might even cook your favorite dish."

Amber nodded and said, "I appreciate that. All right, I'll stay here until I return to Beacon, which would be in two days. Do you mind if I join you in the Dreamscape?"

Jaune shook his head and said, "I don't mind. You already know about it. I don't want too many people to know about it and guilt trip me into letting them use me to grow stronger. Plus, Pyrrha and the others are having another girls' night. It'll be nice to have someone accompany me."

Amber said, "I've heard people having a harem, but I've never seen one. I thought they were rumors, but you're living proof."

Jaune sighed. He said, "I dreamed of having a harem like any teenage guy, but I never thought it would come true. And you know the weird thing? I did not even initiate it. Sometimes, I think that this is nothing more than a dream. That one day, I would wake up and think it was real, and they would laugh at me for thinking they would go for a guy like me."

Amber lightly punched his arms and said, "Don't put yourself down, Jaune. I may not have known you for long, but you helped a person like me, someone you don't even know. You are a great guy; all those girls are lucky to have you."

Jaune smiled and said, "Thanks. And hey, you needed help. So I helped. My intuition told me you weren't a bad person. Although my intuition is not very good, I felt great about you."

He added, "Can I ask, it seems you are impatient to get stronger?"

Amber sighed and replied, "Because I am. I know I have gotten stronger thanks to you when I was hunting your girls, but whenever I think about that woman who stole half of the Maiden's power, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I am scared. Scared that if I meet her and her cohorts, I may die. This power, whenever I think about it, I feel a sense of burden, "

Jaune smiled at her, remembering reading something about how she was feeling. He lied and said to Amber, "I have a friend that used to tell me, 'Destiny is a gift. Some go their entire lives, living existences of quiet desperation, never learning the truth that what feels as though a burden pushing down upon their shoulders is actually a sense of purpose lifting them to greater heights. Never forget that fear is, but the precursor of valor, that to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don't think. Become.'"

He added, "I don't know how much that applies to you, but I think you having the power of the Maiden is your destiny. Although to me, destiny is but a guide, a push in the right direction, it is up to me whether I follow that path or pave my own. Will you pave your own path or continue where your destiny has decided for you."

Amber had a lot to think about. He was right. Destiny gave her a path, but it doesn't mean it is the only path she could take. She already has the Maiden's power. She could use it to save the world or destroy it. Or, she could ignore the existence of the power and enjoy life.
