Evening came, and Jaune planned to head to the dungeon to test his new skills. He was excited about it.

Jaune thought, 'Thankfully, the skills drawback is negated when copied through the [Blank Cards]. Otherwise, I would not even think of copying such a skill if it means losing myself to it and being unable to level up and evolve.'

He added, 'But, this should be exciting…Ah! I forgot to ask Hestia to update my status last night since I was dead tired from nearly dying in the Beast of the Rift tentacles. I should do that later when I get back. It is annoying to have stat points that are not active.'

With that, Jaune teleported to the 30th floor. Looking at the surroundings, it was still the same as he left it. Absolute Devastation. Maybe he went a bit overboard using the [Heavenly Accumulated Strike], but then again, the voice told him to use that move.

When Jaune was about to move from the 30th floor, he heard footsteps. Following the sounds, he saw the group from last night. He made eye contact with the three women that garnered interest in him.

Tiona shouted, "Aha! See, Bete! I told you he was strong!"

Bete clicked his tongue, saying, "Tsk! He is still…" He did not finish what he was saying. He had enough of what happened the night before. He couldn't even have a wink of sleep since nature would attack him. Weeds would burst through his tent and strangle him, for God's sake! This was on the safe floor.

Tiona approached Jaune without reserve and got into his personal space. She said, "Hey! Do you want to have a spar with me? Ever since I saw a glimpse of you, I've been excited to have a go at you."

Jaune shrugged his shoulder. He wanted to go and kill some monsters for their stats, but having a spar should help him push his [True War Arts] to the limit with only 10 points on each stat. He said, "Sure, why not?"

Tiona said, "Great! This is perfect since we are in such an open area."

Jaune and Tiona got into position and got ready to start. The other members of their leading group sighed at Tiona. They could do nothing to stop this now since she had made up her mind.

Bete was looking at Jaune; he felt that something was amiss. He remembered something, saying, "Huh! I thought you were a Renard! I was sure you had Fox ears!"

Jaune looked at him, saying, "How do you know that? Are you stalking me?"

Bete shouted, "What! You little shit…Tsk! I'm not stalking you! I merely saw you in the guild when you applied. I was sure back then that you had Fox ears. The question is, why don't you have that feature now?"

Jaune raised an eyebrow, saying, "That's because I'm human. That form is merely me using magic called [Beast Takeover]. Now, can you shut up and let me concentrate? I'm quite excited for this spar since this would be my first time fighting someone here."

Bete clicked his tongue and moved away.

Tiona asked Jaune, "Are you not going to use any weapons?"

Jaune raised his fist, saying, "This is all I need to beat you."

Tiona smiled. She likes Jaune's guts. He was planning to fight her, a wielder of a double-sided sword, with nothing but his fist, and he was confident at beating her.

Tiona charged at Jaune and swung her blade at him with incredible speed and precision. However, with Jaune's [True War Arts], he can predict where she would strike by reading her muscle movement.

Jaune, right now, only has 10 points of stats each. He knew he could not beat her in a straight fight. As a result, he planned to whittle down her stamina. Tire her out as she swings her weapon.

Tiona, with a smile, thought, 'This won't do. He can predict my movement and move before my strike connects. With my blade in motion, it is difficult to change its direction. This is fun! This is not something you could enjoy when fighting monsters. Brute strength isn't enough. I need to fight smarter. He is trying to tire me out before he strikes…'

While Tiona was thinking, Jaune used this time to use something he had been working on. It was a hand-to-hand combat technique. He struck Tiona's weapon, causing her to drop it.

Tiona said, "What was that? I couldn't keep hold of my weapon."

Jaune smirked and said, "I call it [Reverberating Strike], a technique I created. If my stats were not limited, it should have been able to destabilize the molecular structure of your weapon."

Tiona understood nothing of what Jaune said. Molecular structure? What's that? Nonetheless, Tiona decided not to pick up her weapon and engage him in hand-to-hand combat.

As she approached Jaune, he thought, 'Fast…' He barely dodged her fist. But he was not backing down. As her fist passed by him, he struck her by the elbow, causing immense pain due to the [Reverberating Strike], which traveled throughout her entire body.

The exchange continued for a few minutes until Jaune accidentally struck Tiona in her left breast. The [Reverberating Strike] has a different effect when stuck in an erogenous zone, causing Tiona to moan loudly.

Jaune blushed at her moaning voice. He then heard her say, "Geez! Your technique is quite perverted."

Jaune replied, "M-My bad! That was not an intended application for it…Although, it could be quite useful in bed in the future."

Tiona teasingly said, "Are you sure it was not an intended application? Or are you just hiding the fact that you are a pervert?"

Jaune's eye twitched. He said, "I am a healthy guy. I am interested in such perverted things, but I do not incorporate such things in my fighting technique! It is sacrilegious!"

Tiona sighed, saying, "I'll admit defeat…By the way, what did you mean that your stats are limited?"

Jaune pointed at his forehead, where a white crown suddenly appeared, saying, "It's as I stated. My stats are limited since they are sealed."

Tiona said, "Interesting…"

Now that the spar was over, Jaune said, "Anyway. I enjoyed this spar. Let's meet again later for another. For now, I'm going on ahead to the deeper floors."

He activated [Wings of Wind] and said, "See you around, Tiona, and company." He was gone from their sight in a split second.

Riveria was observing the fight the entire time. There were times she saw Jaune making a gesture of using magic but restrained himself. She said, "Interesting indeed, Tiona. How powerful is he if what he said is true and his stats are sealed?"

Tiona looked at Riveria and said, "You're asking me? Who am I supposed to ask? I only met him in person today."

Once Jaune was far away, he started killing monsters. He did not want to do it in front of others as he did not know how the skill functions.

After killing the first monster, Jaune saw nothing different. But looking at his stats, they indeed have changed.

Jaune waited patiently for the voice to respond but would not waste time doing nothing. He continued the monster slaughter.

It was not until an hour later that Jaune heard the voice again.

In a happy mood, the slaughter of monsters increased. By the time Loki Familia arrived in the place Jaune was in, there were no monsters to kill, only a path of destruction.
