Sacred Strength was comprised of three teams. The first was Team Beauty, with Leaf the Lurantis and Falina the Tsareena. They were the first group formed and where considered the veterans of the guild second only to the owners Daisy and Messa. The second group was Team Trouble, with Pepperoni the Zangoose and Cheese the Seviper. They were formed a long time after Team Beauty, and were constantly butting heads with each other yet somehow remained friends. The third and final group was Team Buster, which consisted of a Tyrouge named Fernand and a Charcadet named Samuel. They had joined recently, and as such were still pretty fresh and inexperienced.

And now these three teams were standing in the main hall of the guild, looking up through the big hole at Mister Messa, who was in his zero form and looking down with a smile. "My friends, thank you for coming." He grinned, "We are gathered here today to welcome our new members." He patted the railing for emphasis, "We believe they will do great things here and bring a new hope to our-"

"Oh come on, didn't you give this exact speech when we joined?" Samuel called out, crossing his arms.

"...I might have forgotten to write a new speech." Messa sighed, "Sorry." With a deep sigh, he continued. "Anyways, introducing Row and Chester!"

He moved aside to allow the two to step up on a podium, allowing them to be visible to the Pokemon below. Leaf stood agape when they came into view, and Falina let off a hearty chuckle. Row awkwardly waved to them, while Chester was busy soaking in all the eyes that were on him.

Messa leaned in and whispered, "So... have you two decided on a team name yet?"

Row looked over at Chester, who looked back at him.

"Well?" Said Row.

"You say it." Chester winked.

Row stared down at the Pokemon below. Seeing all those faces made him nervous, but he steeled himself enough to shout out.

"We are Team Hero!" He said in the most heroic tone possible.

...

The Palafin gave a look, and the Pokemon below quickly responded in applause.

Chester grinned ear to ear and waved both his arms in the air, and Row just let out a sigh so deep it removed all the air in his chest.

Team Hero found themselves seated inside an office room, located in the back of the first floor. The room was supposed to be a sort of planning room where meetings between teams are held. It was decently sized, with a large circular couch with a table in the center. There was a big chalkboard on the wall in the back, and shelves of writing material to go along with it.

Sitting across from them was Team Buster, who both sat as intimidating as possible. Fernand the Tyrouge wore a pair of Black Glasses over his head, while Samuel the Charcadet had a pair of Heavy-Duty Boots that he showed off by kicking his feet up on the table. Row could tell they were only trying to look cool in the face of the newly joined team, but it did have an effect on Chester.

Fernand leaned forwards, an evil grin on his face. "So... new guys." He chuckled, "I just wanna ask something."

"Yeah?" Chester said nervously.

The Tyrouge suddenly placed his arm on the table, "Wanna arm wrestle?"

Chester gave out an excited gasp, "You're on!"

The two got into position and grasped each other's hands tight, and began a struggle to slam the other into the table. Much grunting and gasping ensued with neither hand moving. Row stared at them for a bit before looking over at Samuel, who was expressionless. Perhaps maybe he could make some small talk?

"Uh-" Before he could say anything, Samuel raised a finger.

"Listen." He said sternly, "I know what you did to get here, and if you think that's gonna impress me, then you have another thing coming." He glared with the flames in his eyes growing ever so slightly intense, "I was fighting the second I came out of my egg, and I intend to prove I'm the best. So whatever happens next, just stay out of my way."

Row blinked, "I was just gonna say hi..." He awkwardly chuckled. It was hard to tell if this was also an attempt to look cool, or he was being serious.

Samuel rolled his eyes, looking over at the two arm-wrestling Pokemon. The two contenders both slammed their other hands onto the table to tap out, releasing the grip on each other. Chester groaned as he rubbed his sore arm, "Gosh, you're strong!"

"I was gonna say the same! What's your routine?" Fernand flexed his aching muscle.

"Oh, I eat my greens, drink my juice, read my books..." Chester rubbed the underside of his nose in a display of confidence.

"Dang, it's working out!" Fernand laughed.

The door to the room creaked open, and Miss Daisy stepped in wearing a blue fez with a long golden tassel hanging off the side. "Hello! Hope you guys are getting along!"

Chester and Fernand grinned, while Row and Samuel just eyed each other.

"Anyways, onto business." Miss Daisy walked over to the blackboard, "For the two newest members, allow me to explain what's been going on." She grabbed some chalk with her leafy arms and started drawing out vague shapes. "Recently, there's been a lot of strange happenings around the mystery dungeons of Arenoak. Many dungeons that were once empty are now full of crazed Pokemon."

Chester's arm shot up, "Yeah! The one near where I live had a bunch of bug Pokemon in there now!"

Miss Daisy nodded, "Yes, like that." She continued, "That's not all though, some locations like the town of Galefree have reports of increased crime from some gang calling themselves..."

She paused, "The Strange Ones."

Ferdand laughed, "I met one of them, a lackey Krokorok. He tried that thing where you bump into someone and act like you got hurt to get their money. So I socked him in the jaw for real and sent him running!"

Row tilted his head, "He uh, wouldn't happen to have called you a brat did he?"

"Yeah he did, a lot actually. Why?"

Row chuckled, "No reason."

Miss Daisy sighed, "If only they were all like that." She turned around to face the audience before her, specifically at Team Hero. "You must stay clear of them, they are well above your power and are best left to the professionals." She said.

Row and Chester nodded. Though for some reason Row could pick up a distinct flurry of negative emotions coming from Chester. He thought about mentioning it, but then he remembered him bring up Chester's parents and the silence that followed. He decided to leave it be. For now.

Now Samuel raised his hand, "And why are we here?"

"Ah, right." Miss Daisy cleaned the board and began drawing a list of tasks relating to certain shops around the city, "Before Team Hero starts taking on requests, they will have to help around Vairfew first. And Team Buster is going to assist as junior members."

"Why us?!" Samuel grunted.

"Because." Miss Daisy said with a stern tone, "Or do I have to get Mister Messa again?"

Samuel shuddered, "No... We'll help."

Miss Daisy perked up instantly, "Good! Now for today I'll simply assign you all to help with Vermond at the gaming parlor. He's been dealing with wild Rattatas in his basement and he needs help cleaning them out. Can you boys deal with that?"

Chester stood up in his seat, "You can count on us!"

Miss Daisy clapped, "Wonderful! Off you go then!"

Chester grinned and grabbed Row's hand, "Come on!" Before Row could say anything, he was already being dragged out of the meeting room. Team Buster followed behind at a distance so as to not look like they're associated. They had an appearance to uphold.
