Chapter:7 Team Exercise

It was the afternoon and Team RABG are in one of the high-tech training rooms in Beacon. Red and his team wore their proper clothing and had their weapons in hand.

"Alright we're here," Red said in excitement as both Green and Yellow looked confused.

"What are we doing here anyway?" Green asked.

"This is a team exercise," Blue said to the two. "We're just going to get to know each other and get to know how we fight."

"Sounds exciting," Yellow said.

"Well if we're going to have a talk then let's do it over there," Green said as she points to the empty bleachers behind them.

"Sure," Red said in agreement as they went to the bleachers and went to find the perfect spot to get to know each other more. As they finally found it, they sat down together and they then look each other.

"We are going to do this in order: Name, your home, likes, dislikes, and dreams. I'm okay to keep some secrets, let's just talk with each other to get used to one another. Any objections?" Red asked as everyone shakes their head. "Okay, who wants to go first?"

"Can I go first?" Yellow asked as sbe raised her hand.

"Okay go," Red said to let her continue.

"Well my name is Amarillo Caballero but my friends, including you guys, can call me Yellow. I live here in Beacon in my entire life. I love to explore, fishing, and just make some friends. I really don't like to be stuck in the same place, hurting others, and... you know?" She said as she gestures to her petite body as Red look away with a blush on his face, Blue letting out a sigh while Green laughs. "And my dream is to finally see the rest of the world.

"Well that's good, right guys?" Red asked the rest of the team and they agreed, he then faced Green. "Green?"

"Finally," Green said as she leans forward. "Well my name is Green, Green Bell. I live in Atlas on the city of Mantle. I like to shop, see some jewelery, and a certain someone that I have to babysit before coming here. The only thing I hate is I don't want to be the fool, so no lying. Okay?" She asked them.

"Cross my heart and hope to die," Red swore while Blue shrugs and Yellow nods.

"Okay thanks. So anyways, my dream is someday help Mantle when I get back," She said as she was deep in thought when she said that but made sure that she listens.

"Okay..." Red said as he look to Blue.

"Well my name is Blue, Blue Oak. I live in Mistral on the south western coast with Red. I love to read in peace and doing some research."

"Nerd!" Green yelled out as she was laughing till Yellow punch her for that.

Blue glared at the brunette but continues, "I don't want to be disturbed if I am doing something and annoying women. Lastly my dream is that I want to continue my grandfather's research if it's my turn to do it."

"Okay, that's good right?" Red asked the females in their team.

"Good enough," Green commented.

"Nobody asked you woman," Blue said in annoyance.

"Okay..." Red said as he is waiting if Green gonna goad Blue again, seeing that she doesn't, it is time for his turn. "So my name is Red, Red Ketchum. Like Blue said, we live in the south western coast of Mistral. I really love to fight, especially if I am facing someone really strong, gardening, sightseeing, and my family. I really hate boring stuff like reading and watching the news. My dream is to get strong and protect my family."

Red then stand up as he clap his hands, "Since we are done with that, let's get some exercise before we have a mock fight. It would be an all out fight so we don't have to wait for too long."

"And I'm going to supervise the exercise, I made a workout routine for us that I might change in some time if we have to adjust with it," Blue said as he showed them a small list of their exercise that they might use.

"Well let's start shall we? We still have class after this so let's not waste some time" Red said as everyone agreed with him and began their exercise.

Push-ups

The entire team was currently on the ground, doing push-ups. While Red was doing just fine, Blue and Green are getting tired while Yellow is struggling to get her 4th.

Body Stretching

Now Red was struggling as he tried to reach the tip of his toes while Blue did it with minimal ease and the two girls having no trouble at all.

Meditation

The group of four then sat at the middle, their Auras flaring up as they do this to improve more of their control over it.

10km Run

The entire team were now doing laps around the training room, Red was on the front with Blue and Green just behind him while Yellow wasn't that far off.

Break

Team RABG were now sitting on the bleachers, food and water in hand, as they use the time to get back some energy.

Handstand

The team easily did this since some of their weapons have really heavy materials in them for more durability and damage.

Punching Bag

One punching bag is being assaulted by the four, hitting it with punches, kicks, and any other attacks to hit it. Then this happened to Red.

When he went to punch the punching bag, all of the force it received came back to the cap wearing leader and got knocked out by it. The rest had to wait for him to wake up so they could continue.

Evasive Maneuver Training

"Whoa!" Green shouted in protest as Blue brought out his weapon in gun form.

"Too much?" He asked as he has a full cartridge of Fire Dust bullets.

"Kinda," Red said.

"But not for me! I use a shield for fucks sake," Green said to them.

"Then this is a good opportunity for you to dodge without the shield," Blue stated as the brunette had to look at Yellow, pleading for help.

"Sorry Green, you have to do this for your sake," Yellow said as Green began to look around.

"I just realized, I must have left my weapon polish in our room, let me just go back and pick it up," She said and quickly left, leaving the other three behind.

"She's not coming back isn't she?" Red asked his best friend.

"Nope," Blue said as Red let out a sigh.

"Let's get her back here so we could start," The three then ran after Green and had to drag her back despite her protest.

Weight Carrying

The team had to wear heavy weight on their wrists and knees as they have to jog again with those weights. Red, Blue and Green had to slow down to be alongside Yellow, who was getting tired from the weights.

Their exercise was then finished as the four of them stood in a circle, a few meters apart with one another, and had their weapons in hand.

"Alright, let's do this shit," Red said as he went to a boxer's stance.

"On "Go" alright," Blue said as he has his weapon in sword mode and had it in a reverse grip.

"Yeah yeah," Green said as she has her weapon in shield form and had it in front of her.

"I'm ready," Yellow said as she had her fishing rod but had a metal ball attached on its hook.

"Alright. 3!"

All four hardened their stance, looking at one another for any openings, and holding their weapons tight.

"2!"

Their eyes not leaving one another, ready to strike.

"1!"

Their body slowly shifts, ready to move forward.

"Go!"

In an instant, all four charge at one another, filled with the intent to fight.

Red quickly fired his grapples on the wall behind Blue and reeled himself in to deliver the first strike. Blue anticipated this and charged in as well, but they didn't anticipate Green coming towards them to bash them with her shield. Red had to fire his grapples elsewhere to dodge the incoming attack while Blue stood strong and block the attack with his sword. While Red flung himself away, he quickly saw the metal ball from Yellow's fishing rod coming at him with a lot of momentum, he quickly spun in the air to dodge it before landing on the ground to see Yellow reeling back her rod, and she looks back at him.

With Blue and Green, the two partners traded blow after blow as Blue had to deflect every strike Green uses with critical thinking. He lean to the right followed by a downward slash to deflect another attack, he leans to the left to avoid another and went for the attack. Green saw this and quickly changes her weapon into its sword form and brought it down towards Blue. Blue quickly pivots on his right foot to avoid the heavy weapon's trajectory as said attack caused the floor to be punctured by it.

Now with Red and Yellow, the short blonde cast her weapon as she swung the attached metal ball to give it more momentum and aimed at Red. The cap wearing teen quickly used his grapples at the ceiling and pulled himself up to avoid the attack. When he reached the ceiling he planted his foot on it and pushed himself towards Yellow as he let his cables loose and swung them forward like whips. The short blonde quickly step back from every lash her partner did, twirling at the right moment to avoid every attack Red and cast the metal ball at him. He kicked it away but the line wrap around his ankle and Yellow pulled him down to the ground. Red quickly used his hands to stop him from hitting the floor and pushes himself up, he then used the momentum he gathered and got Yellow off her feet as Red then flung her to the air. Red then fired his grapples at Yellow and wrapped her around it, he then reeled her in as he released one of his grapples and readied to slam his fist at his partner. Yellow quickly saw this as she spins in the air to get herself free from her bonds and used the momentum to prepare a kick to Red.

Back with Blue and Green, the two continued to fight with their blades as Blue's swift strikes would be aimed at her but Green's massive sword blocks it, Green's heavy strikes would be aimed at him but Blue would easily avoid those sluggish attacks. Blue then went to attack but Green spun in a single point while swinging her massive sword, he had to back away from the spinning hazard that was Green and quickly change his weapon to its gun mode. He fired at her and Green had to stop her spinning attack in favor of defense by switching her weapon to its shield form. She blocks the incoming bullets and quickly charge forward to crush him with the weapon's weight. Blue had to quickly roll away from her straight forward attack and fired some shots at her, each bullet intent to test her as she blocks them with her shield.

"Analysis complete," He mutters as he quickly switched his weapon to its sword form and was about to charge at her till a loud crash was heard so he and Green look were it came from and saw that both Red and Yellow sent each other to the wall from their respective attacks. This caused Blue to be distracted which Green used as an opportunity to charge at the brown haired teen with her shield. Blue quickly noticed this as he stood his ground and used his sword to try and halt the attack. The two then clashed as Blue was pushed a lot by the attack and miraculously stood his ground from it.

Back with Red and Yellow, the two get themselves off the wall as Red began to release his Semblance while Yellow was using her own Semblance to heal herself. Red then charge at Yellow, ready to pummel the blonde to the ground till Yellow twirled and cast her line around her before swinging it at Red. Red saw this and quickly caught the line before the metal ball hit his face then pulled the line hard enough to get Yellow be pulled in the air, he then fired his grapples at the wall behind her as he has his feet aimed at his partner. Yellow saw this and had to take the hit since there is no way to dodge it, she was then sent into the roof followed by Red towards her, grabbed her in the hole she was in, and threw her to the ground, groaning from the pain. The cap wearing teen then landed at the defeated Yellow as he then carried her in his arms, much to her embarrassment, and set her down to the bleachers to rest. He then look back to the middle to see Blue and Green still duking it out.

Back with Blue and Green, the two continued trade blows till Red's grapples went past them and quickly saw the cap wearing teen heading towards them. The two had to disengage as Red pass them till he began to lash his cables at them. He swung them ferociously as Blue had to back off while Green used her shield to block them. As Red continued his relentless assault, Blue continued to easily evade the attack with incredible timing as his eyes quickly scan the lashing cable's trajectory and quickly thought out its designated target. He would deflect some of them with his sword while dodging the rests. Green then charge at Red with a battle cry as her shield took every hit and she isn't stopping till she slams her weapon to her opponent. Red had to disengage and fired his grapples to the roof and reeled himself so Green could stumble at the failed attempt but the brunette was more resilient and quickly switched her weapon into sword form. Her arms glowed with her Aura as she then threw her weapon at Red with great strength. Red had to catch the blade but quickly flew with it due to its force and he crashes to the ceiling.

Seeing that Green was defenseless, Blue charged at his partner with his sword ready. Green quickly noticed this and backed away from him, she had her arms up while Blue keep hacking and slashing at her, evading any attack that comes her way. Green then went to fight him with her fists as they are covered in her Aura. She sent a punch at her partner, intending to hit him hard, but Blue dodges it. She kept moving forward to land a single hit on the brown haired teen as Blue would always dodge or block them with his blade. Growing frustrated, Green's right fists got covered with more of her Aura as she slams her fists on the floor and caused it to cave in and flung everything around her in the air, including Blue. Seeing that he was in the air, Blue prepared for the inevitable as Green jumps in the air with her Aura covered hands, she then slams them on Blue and sent her partner to the ground hard.

Green then lands on the ground as she saw Blue groaning in a small crater till she hears a loud clang and saw her weapon on the floor, she quickly look up to see Red standing on the ceiling, with his grapples holding him up there, as he then pushed himself towards the brunette. Green quickly rushed to her weapon but Red's decent was very quick and he slams himself on her. The two were then on the ground as they trade blows with one another, each taking turns to who is on top and bottom as they wrestle with their fists. When Green was on top she started to gather her Aura in her right fists to end the fight but Red quickly fired his grapples on the wall in front of him and fling himself forward with the brunette had to hold on to him till the both of them crash on the wall, which caused a massive dust cloud from the impact.

The dust cloud then cleared to reveal Red coming out of the wall and Green embedded in it as she groans in pain.

"I win!" Red cheered as he has his hands in the air.

"Yeah, yeah," Blue said in pain as he was still on the floor with the now recovered Yellow healing him. "I think we need to go to the infirmary."

"I second that," Green said as the fight really got herself exhausted.

"If you say so," Red said as he pry Green off the wall and carried her on his shoulder. "Come on Yellow, let's get the two to the infirmary."

"Coming Red," Yellow said as she grabbed Blue by his shoulder and had to carry him with his arm around her neck.

The four of them then left, quickly getting Blue and Green to the infirmary to heal up, and they quickly recovered to get back in class.

It was then night time as Red came out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth as he look at his team.

Blue is sleeping peacefully in his bed, his blanket covering his body.

Green is also sleeping peacefully as she have her blanket only cover half of her body.

Then he saw Yellow sprawled on her bed as her blanket was on the floor.

Red rolls his eyes as he put Yellow in a more comfortable position and went to his bed.

He then grabbed his Scroll in his text before typing something on it before placing it back in his desk and sleep.

And that is it for that chapter!

This is just to introduce the characters in a more formal way and to show how they fight.

Red is a reckless fighter while Blue is more of an observing fighter, Green is more of a wildcard and Yellow is more on support.

While Yellow is a pacifist like in the manga, I also add her understanding that she still needs to fight to protect herself.

Now, I will continue this story till the transcripts on Volume 9 have come out so I could continue VTR. If not, I will still continue this story while thinking of another story that I would make if it hasn't shown yet, so I could do it when Team RABG meets the same fate as VTR.

For further chapters, I do not take requests from you guys since I have some acquaintances that would help me with that. You still can but I'm not gonna take them seriously if it doesn't really help with the story at all.

But for now, that would be it for this chapter.
