Chapter:12 Cat and Mouse
"Blaaaake!" Red shouted as he and his team are currently walking in the city of Vale.
"Blaaaake!" Yellow shouted as well.
"Come on Blake! We have tuna!" Green joined in.
"Will you two quiet down, it's the middle of the afternoon," Blue said to them as he noticed everyone looking at them. The three of them looked really embarrassed but that was what they could think of. "Besides, why are we doing this without asking Ruby first?"
"Will they accept our help?" Red asked his friend as Blue shook his head. "That is why we are not telling them, there's also a chance that they might somehow get on the mafia's bad side."
"I'm sorry if I ask but what other things did you to the Omori family other than the car incident?" Green asked him as Red look around nervously while Blue let out a sigh.
"Well... There's that one time that I might have accidentally blown up one of their warehouses when I played around with firecrackers," Red said.
"That caused them a lot money from the damaged supplies," Blue said.
"The time Blue, Pyrrha, and I played with our ball but I accidentally kicked it too hard to their boss' room."
"We didn't get it back."
"Then there's the time I crashed Mars' birthday when we were driving with our friends."
"Red wanted to drive when he was really drunk, I think all of us were drunk that day."
Both Green and Yellow gawked at the two as the couldn't comprehend what other mishaps Red did while Blue was dragged along in the fire.
"Okay, good thing you have me around now or things might get more messier," Green said to them as they kept walking, still shocked at the things she hears now but wonders in horror with the rest.
"Guys!" Yellow called out to them. "Blake?"
"Oh yeah sorry, still feel really awkward with the mafia might be possibly here," Red admitted as he frantically look around in fear, literally scared knowing that he isn't safe outside when the thought of the mafia actually here in Vale.
"Okay, if we were Blake, where would she go?" Blue asked the team.
"What does Blake even like?" Green added as they thought about it.
"She does love to read and doing it somewhere peaceful," Red said to them.
"We could try the bookstore and cafe we went to, she might be there," Yellow said as everyone have to agree with their youngest member.
"Okay, Yellow and I will check the café while you two check the bookstore. If we see Blake, let's not reveal ourselves yet till she is actually in trouble," Red said to them as his team nods in agreement. "Alright, let's split up."
The team then split up to their respective partners to widen their search for Blake.

In another part of the city, Red and Yellow slowly walk towards the café as they want to be sure not to scare her off by their presence. They want to calmly talk things out, not to make Blake run more.
"Alright, the café is just a block from here," Yellow said.
"Okay, we now need some way to not get caught by Blake. Is anything nearby it could help?" Red asked.
"There's a flower shop, a gym, and a motel."
"Okay," Red then thought of the choices till he finally thought of a good one. "We'll take the flower shop, we could watch from inside while the flowers will be our cover."
"It's just not that isn't it?" His partner asked him as Red awkwardly laughs.
"I kinda need to order a bouquet for my grandma," He said as Yellow smiled for him.
The two then reached the café and immediately saw Blake with the monkey Faunus from yesterday and they now get a better look at the newcomer.
It was a tan-skinned boy with short spiky light-blonde hair and dark-gray eyes. He wears two red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves and an open loose-collared white jacket with no shirt underneath, displaying his muscular physique. He also wears blue cargo pants tied up with a white belt. He wears white bandages on his legs and has a chain hanging from the belt loop on the right side of his pants.
He sports black and yellow sneakers and wears a twisted golden necklace around his neck, replaced by a black cord with a round pendant bearing his monkey emblem. As a Faunus, he has a long, yellow, prehensile, monkey tail.
The two quickly went inside as Yellow kept watch while Red would order some flowers, but he would occasionally look outside if Blake is still outside. Then a female employee approached him.
"Can I get you something sir?" The employee asked Red as the cap wearing leader looked towards her.
"Well... I need some flowers for my grandma, she is currently in the hospital and I was hoping that you have some flowers that I could give to her," He said as the employee nods.
"We might have the ones that you want. Do you have an address so we could sent it?" She asked as Red gave her the address of the hospital that he have wrote just for this.
"Red!" Yellow called out to him. "They are about to move!"
Red then frantically gave his credit card as the employee wondered why they are in a hurry, but she grabbed his credit card before swiping it on the register to complete the purchase. She gave the credit card back and was about to get his change, but the two already left, leaving the employee more confused before shrugging.

In another part of the city, both Blue and Green are by the bookstore till Blue's Scroll rang.
He picked it up and answers it, "Hello?"
(We're tailing Blake, I think she's going to the docks. Meet us somewhere near it,) Red said as the call ended.
Blue put back his Scroll and turns to his partner, "Let's go."
Blue nods as the two of them quickly went to their next destination.
It was now night time in Vale as Team RABG watches Blake and her monkey companion on a rooftop that is just far away enough to not get spotted. They stayed they for a long time as Blue and Green had to get some blankets for themselves and some snacks.
Currently, both Red and Blue are using binoculars to watch Blake and the Monkey Faunus talking to one another. Then Blue looked to the docks and saw multiple containers from the SDC.
"How long are we waiting here for?" Green asked as she had a cup of coffee to keep herself awake.
"If Blake is formerly from the White Fang and many are against that group, I think she's trying to prove that her former group isn't what people thinks, and we're trying to find out if it is," Blue said as he let down the binoculars so he could rub his eyes.
"Oh~~ Mister Analytic over here. I am onboard with this, but this is getting boring. We've been here for hours," Green complained as Blue scoffs.
"Then take a nap woman, we'll just wake you up if something did happen," Blue then noticed Yellow sleeping while wrapping herself with a blanket.
"You know that this counts as spying right?"
"What stops us from helping a fellow student?"
"...Touche"
"Guys!" Red called out to them as Blue quickly brought the binoculars to his eyes as he and Red saw a Bullhead coming down to land on the docks.
As it descends in the middle of the cargo containers, it extends its ramp for a black hooded individual with a metallic fanged mask to come out of.
"It's the White Fang alright," Blue said as he faced his friend. "Red, wake Yellow up. We must be ready to intervene."
Red nods as he went to Yellow to wake her up while Blue keep watch.
Blue then saw a tall and lanky human male with slanted, dark-green eyes and bright, long, orange hair, with long bangs covering his right eye. Black eyeliner traced his visible left eye.
The man wears a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes. His accessories included a small gray scarf, black gloves with buckled sleeves, and a black bowler hat with a small feather tucked into its red band.
"Isn't that Torchwick?" Blue said as Green frantically grab a pair of binoculars to look as well.
"What the hell is Torchwick doing here? I never heard someone like him would help the White Fang steal Dust, especially when he always do his job with a partner that I heard of," Green said in curiosity.
"That worries me too," Blue said as they continued to watch, but they noticed Blake dropping down from the roof and ran for the docks. "Shit! Blake is going in."
"Everyone get ready," Red said as a newly awaken Yellow stood beside him as the entire team began to prepare.
They then saw two other Bullheads coming down to the docks and followed by a explosion.
"We need to get there quickly," Blue said.
"But how? Blake could handle it with his friend there, but we would be too late to reach them," Green said.
"I can do it," The three members of the team lool at Yellow, who was looking to the docks. "While Red can do it with his weapon, I'm naturally more faster if I want to."
Blue seems hesitant but the assuring nod Red gave him made Blue relent, "Fine, just go there quickly."
Yellow nods as she removed her hat and gave it to Red, Blue and Green were surprised to see the extra pair of ears that Yellow had, but the three were shocked and amazed when the blonde began to emit electricity around her.
Before they knew it, Yellow disappeared by a flash.
Both Blake and her companion are fighting Torchwick, but the White Fang are hiding so they do a sneak attack at the Faunus.
Before they could do their attack, the ones on the ground were immediately knocked out without a single bruise by a yellow flash as the ones from above were shocked to see their fellow brethren in an unconscious state as they look around frantically for their attacker.
Even when they try to look around, they were immediately knocked out as well as some fall of the high ground and face planted on the concrete floor and the rest were close to falling off. The remaining members began to fire yet they met thr same fate.
By the entrance of the docks, Yellow appeared by it in a flash as she was currently taking some deep breathes while her Faunus ears droop back. The electricity around her disappears as she was a little exhausted from her own sneak attack.
"Yellow?" The young blonde then saw Ruby alongside another girl as they look at her.
The girl beside Ruby has short, rather curly orange hair that came down to her chin with a small cowlick on top, and she wore a pink bow on the back of her head. She also had bright green eyes, light skin, and freckles. She wore an off white old-fashioned styled off the shoulder blouse with frill detailed trim and frill flared cuffs that half covered her hands alongside copper button detailing on the lower parts of her sleeves. She also sported a short gray pinafore dress with golden trim on the hem alongside four light green stalagmite styled stripes on the lower half of the dress, two on the front and two on the back, accompanied by two matching colored circles above the tips that had a stripe that ran around her waistline, with golden outlines, and a detachable black and light green collar. She also wore a pair of black thigh-high leg pieces that seemingly were attached to black shoes. The leg pieces had a single green stripe up the sides that appeared to light up.
"Hey Ruby," Yellow said nervously as she was a bit exposed without her hat, she could even feel her gaze on.
"Why are you doing here and are those ears real?" Ruby asked as Yellow nervously laughs.
"Hey Yellow, let's-" Then Yellow's team arrived as they suddenly freeze when they saw Ruby.
"What are you guys doing here? In the middle of night no less," Ruby said as she look at Team RABG accusingly.
"Well-"
They immediately heard gun fire in the docks as the six of them look at one another.
"We'll explain about this later Ruby, and you are?" Red asked the girl with the young leader.
"Oh! My name is Penny, can we be friends?" The now named Penny asked him.
"I don't think that's a good time," Red said as Ruby nods in agreement. The six them quickly went to the docks. They went to the roof tops so they could easily get an advantage.
As they arrive, they saw Torchwick aiming his cane to the Monkey Faunus and was ready to fire.
"Hey!" Ruby shouted as she let out her weapon with Team RABG doing the same.
Torchwick saw her and he lost interest on the Faunus that he was about to shoot and waved at her, "Well, hello, Red! Isn't it past your bedtime?"
"Um... Is he talking to me?" The actual Red asked his team while pointing to himself.
"Ruby," Blue answered while Ruby and Penny talk.
Torchwick snarls and fired at Ruby, but Green quickly block the shot with her shield, but the explosive round blast her and Ruby while they scream.
"Green! Ruby!" Red shouted in worry as Yellow quickly went for the two girls.
Torchwick gives off a professional-level evil laugh at his attack on the two girls. Penny turns her head toward the criminal and gives her first glare, walking forward while Green and Ruby tries to get back up.
"Penny, wait! Stop!" Ruby called out to her as the hooded girl raises her hand in a futile attempt to stop her while Green slowly stand up as she uses her shield as a support, Yellow then arrived as she began to check them for any injuries.
"Don't worry, Ruby. I'm combat ready!" Penny declares as her backpack mechanically opens up, and from its dark depths comes a single sword that extends and multiples into several blades hovering over Penny's back. Leaping from the rooftop with the weapons acting as wings, she sends three of her swords to knock two White Fang soldiers down before even landing on the ground, where she proceeds to fling the swords at one enemy, impale another to a wall, create a barrier of spinning steel against a running attack, leaping over a goon with her swords in tow, and finally making a wheel that she throws to knock multiple Faunus off their feet.
"Whoa!" The Monkey Faunus look at the scene in amazement before he ran off.
Three Bullheads come from the skies and open fire on the battle, but Penny merely forms a shield and launches two of her swords into the wall behind her, which in turn pull their wielder back with their strings. When her swords swirl around her again, she commands them to open their points and build up a large glowing ball of green light. With a punching action, several bright lasers crack the pavement when they fire at the transports and slice each one in half, causing several of the White Fang members inside to fall and letting Ruby and Team RABG watch as Bullheads fall in pieces behind her.
Stunned, Ruby turns back to Penny as she aims her swords at the remaining Bullheads holding the crate of Dust and pulls back on their wires, tugging the aircraft with them.
"Whoa... How is she doing that?" Ruby said in awe.
"Probably a Semblance or something," Red said as he was equally awed alongside his team.
Seeing the Bullhead's flight fall under Penny's control, Torchwick grimaces and turns to run towards the last transport.
Penny, after her large green pupils dilate for a second, pulls with all her might on the strings, and the aircraft crashes into a stack of crates, causing an explosion as a result.
The six teens then watch as Torchwick escapes in a Bullhead as they stood there in silence till Ruby look at Team RABG.
"Well?" She asked them as the four of them look around nervously.
"Well..." Green then explain everything.
Later, a handful of police cars are at the docks, where Team RABG, Ruby, Blake, the Monkey Faunus, and Penny are sitting on boxes in silence. That is, until Weiss and Yang appear on the scene.
"Look Weiss, it's not what you think, she explained the whole thing. See, she doesn't actually have a bow, she has kitty ears and they're actually kind of cute..." Ruby was cut off when Weiss walked over to Blake.
Blake calmly look at her and said, "Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was with the-"
"Stop!" Weiss cuts in. "Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you?"
Red was about to speak till Blue had to elbow him to stop his idiotic friend from saying something in their reconciliation, hopefully.
"Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours, I've decided..."
Yang, Ruby, Team RABG, and the Monkey Faunus look in worry.
"I don't care," That was Weiss' answer as Blake looked surprised.
"You don't care?"
"You said you're not one of them anymore, right?"
"No, I-I haven't been since I was younger-"
"Ah-bahp-bahp-bahp! I don't want to hear it. All I want to know is that the next time something this big comes up... you'll come to your teammates. And not some..." Weiss looked behind her to see the Monkey Faunus. "Someone else."
Blake looked at Ruby and Yang, who were grinning at her, as she wipe a tear from her eye and nods, "Of course."
Weiss smiles and nods while Team RABG celebrate a little. The serious moment then broke when Ruby screams.
"Yeah! Team RWBY is back together!" Ruby cheers as she waved her hands wildly.
Team RWBY, Team RABG, and the Monkey Faunus gathered around with each other till Weiss points at the Monkey Faunus accusingly.
"I'm still not quite sure about how I feel about you!" Weiss said to the Faunus as he nervously laughs.
Ruby then looks around then said, "Hey, wait a minute... Where's Penny?"
"She probably pass her curfew, she must be going to where she sleeps," Green said as they have to agree with her.
"So, since everything went smoothly, I'll take all of you guys for lunch tomorrow. My treat," Red said to them as each one of them grew excited.
"Sweet!" The Monkey Faunus said in excitement as Red look at him.
"Say? What's your name?"
"Oh! The name's Sun."
As the group of nine teens walk away, a limo watch from a far as Mars was in it.
"So Ketchum is really here in Vale," She heard a rough masculine voice with her.
"Yeah, you still want to beat him down a bit?" She asked.
"Now Mars, while Ketchum is an annoyance to our family, we still have a little deal with his family, so let's not aggravate him just yet."
Mars just rolled her eyes and said, "Yes dad."
The man with her let out a chuckle as the limo then drove away as there was only silence below the moon.
And that's it for this chapter!
While it was a small part, you can see what Yellow can do other than being a support. I will not show more of it just yet but it is coming and will be more detailed.
Also, I really want to remake Rose of the Great Shadow but I am completely redo the entire thing and only focus on the team that I added.
The Fate crossover that I have thought is really in my mind but more Pokémon crossover ideas have come into mind. I really can't help it because I love Pokémon and RWBY, but I am really limiting myself to those two because I am not confident with other series. I am really more confident on doing stories from RWBY because I have a way to make my story more easier.
I already got used to the characters in Fate stay/night, Apocrypha, Zero, and Babylonia, so I could easily make the story by giving the cast their own Servants.
But enough of that, I appreciate that you guys read this story and I'll see you guys on tbe next chapter.
