Chapter:14 Brothers and Sisters in Arms
"You looked quite happy there Red," Green said as she and her team are in the cafeteria with Team RWBY and JNPR sitting in different tables. It was a week since their respective night out as they return to their normal lives after that. Currently Green was looking at Red looking really happy. "Has something happened?"
Red snapped out from his thoughts as he noticed that his team were looking at him, "Did you say something?"
"She was asking why you are looking very happy, did something happen?" Yellow asked as she was also curious why he was in that type of mood.
"Is it weird that I'm this happy?" Red asked as he took a bite on a sandwich.
"Well, you look like you heard some kind of good news," Yellow said.
"Well..." Red then stood up as he claps his hands once. "Since we know that the Vytal Festival is coming. My sister and her team is coming here to compete along with some of my other friends that either compete or watch the fights."
"Really? Why ask us this?" Green asked.
"Well I want to introduce you guys to them, and believe me that they are really awesome people," Red said to them as Blue scoffs.
"I think some of them have mental problems," Red let out a nervous laugh when Blue said that.
"They are not that bad."
"Sound really interesting," Green commented.
"I can't wait to meet them," Yellow said with a smile.
"Well you have to wait till they arrive," Red said to them till they heard a loud splat.
They turned to where the sounds came from as they were shock to see a splattered pie on Weiss' face. They then turned to Team JNPR to see that it was Nora who threw the pie as the eccentric bomber sits down and points at Ren who has his head in his palm. Pyrrha's hand is over her mouth and Jaune simply sits staring wide-eyed while covering his ear with his palm.
Red suddenly grins as he only shouted two words.
"FOOD FIGHT!"
"I really appreciate for the company Sun, Neptune, but I can do this on my own."
"Come on, we're classmates, we should always be there to help with one another," Sun said as he walks just outside the cafeteria with two others with him.
The first is a teenage boy with tan skin, blue eyes and messy light-blue hair in the form of an undercut.
He wears a white dress shirt and black tie under a red jacket adorned with a wide, upturned, black collar and a silver reticle across the back. He also sports a pair of gray jeans with black padding strapped to the sides as well as black shoes fastened with straps instead of laces.
Notable accessories within his attire include black fingerless gloves and a pair of yellow-tinted goggles typically worn on his forehead.
The second is a teenage girl with short light brown hair that is designed in a somewhat star pattern with front bangs standing up, light blue eyes and violet eyeshadow.
She wears a white long-sleeved blazer with lapels that possess large buttons and also a small collar, the blazer finished with three petal-like ends, the sleeves have two golden lines on the cuffs, and a golden emblem of a six petal flower on the back. She also wears a simple white shirt with two golden lines near the end of the shirt. Finishing her attire, she wears short white shorts and low high heel boots, also the color white.
"If you know who my brother is, you would drag him into your shenanigans," The girl said to Sun as he looked offended.
"I'm not that bad," Sun defended himself as he looked to the blue haired boy. "Right Neptune?"
The now named Neptune just gave him a look of disagreement as Sun grumbles.
"You guys are jerks," Sun mutters as they pass a window of the cafeteria that is splattered with food, followed by both Jaune and Yellow hitting the glass as well.
"Just don't mess around here, if my brother is here then it would be chaos," The girl said to the Faunus.
"That is something we could agree with," Neptune said as he gave the girl a wink which made her roll her eyes.
"Neptune, I have a boyfriend so stop acting like a cool guy," She said to him as the blue haired teen felt hurt.
"Ouch," He said as he held his chest where his heart would be, dejectedly.
The three of them then entered the cafeteria where they hear students screaming.
"Food fight!" A random student shouted as many students are shown stampeding past the three with Neptune looking quite worried.

"Ahahahaha!"
There stood Team JNPR standing in a tower of tables that is stacked in a ramshackled manner.
"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" Nora chanted as she stood on the highest point of the tower.
Team RABG have their own fort made from the side as they were waiting behind cover.
"We'll end this war and we will taste victory!" Red declares with his arms raised.
Ruby then stomps on a table as she points at Team JNPR then to Team RABG.
"Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!! Ruby then crushes a milk carton on her hands. "It will be delicious!"
Team RWBY then raised their hands simultaneously and shouted, "Yeah!"
"Off with their heads!" Nora declares as she jumps down from the top of her tower, and the food fight begins as her team threw watermelons at the two opposing teams.
"Take cover!" Green shouted as Team RABG took cover from their fort as the melons rain down at their team and Ruby's.
"Yang, Turkey," Ruby ordered her sister.
Yang then picks up two turkeys from the ground and uses them like gloves to punch through the barrage of watermelons thrown off a table by Nora; upon completion, Blake then leaps in front of Yang and picks up two baguettes with Team RABG coming out of their cover with two cantaloupes, a make shift fishing rod made from a broken table leg, dental floss, and paper pin, a baguette, and a table from each respective members. Yang then throws her turkeys at Pyrrha, who dodges out of the way and grabs a single baguette, leaving Jaune Arc to take the blows.
Pyrrha and Blake duel in a one-on-one fight till Blue arrives. Despite Blake's attempt to disorient Pyrrha and Blue with her shadows, Pyrrha knocks her back and throws three more baguettes to Yang, with the last knocking her down as well as she then fights Blue.
Ruby uses a food tray to slide towards Pyrrha and Blue across the table and hits a baguette back at her with the same tray; Pyrrha and Blue manages to dodge the shot, but were unable to stop Ruby from knocking Pyrrha backwards with the same food tray while kicking Blue away. Ren and Nora then charge at Ruby with Green just behind them, but Weiss intercepts the three and uses ketchup to cause Ren to slip and crash with a group tables which are launched because of the impact.
Green used the table she got as a sleigh to surf through the stained floor while Nora jumps through the launched tables to grab a metal flag pole and attach a watermelon to it. She attacks Weiss but hits Ruby instead, who manages to stand between them to protect her partner from the assault; however, the force of this impact knocks her down. Weiss grabs a swordfish and engages Nora in a one-on-one, but ends up being defeated after Nora throws her against a pillar, knocking her down, and causing the pillar to break. Green then gets off her makeshift weapons and kicks it at Ruby as she dodges it before rushing at her partner before Weiss gets crushed by the pieces, Ruby jumps in and saves her partner but shouts dramatically at her partner's apparent demise.
Yang grabs two more turkeys and duels Ren, who wields a pair of leeks as Red and Yellow arrives between them. Red and Yang took hits at one another while Yellow gracefully fought off Ren with her fishing rod, Yellow grabs a small melon with a small hook she has and swung the hard fruit at Ren which caused him to got flying in the air. He recovers from the strikes and throws his leeks at Yellow, but she manages to dodge them and proceeds to finish Ren by rapidly spinning the dental floss line and swung the melon right at him which sents him to ground, knocking him out. Nora intervenes immediately afterwards as she tries to deliver a blow at Yellow but the Faunus quickly jump way from the hit while Red manage to overpower Yang and launched her to the roof with an uppercut.
Blake gets back up to dodge the debris of the roof and grabs a link of sausages. She whips it at a disarmed Nora, throwing her against two soda machines. These leak some soda cans that Nora throws at Blake, who manages to dodge them all. Pyrrha then uses her Semblance of polarity on the puddle of soda, causing all the soda cans on it to rise after Blake, barraging her with soda. Green quickly grabbed another table as she blocks the incoming barrage with the others taking cover.
Ruby, the last remaining member of RWBY, then uses her Semblance of speed to dash through the food court, causing everything to follow her through the tailwind caused by her overwhelming speed. She spins like a torpedo, creating a hurricane of food that come backs at RABG and JNPR.
"Oh shit," Red could only say as he and his team were caught by it and was launched to the wall with Team JNPR as they were pelted by everything the hurricane sucked in till they were knocked out.
(End Music)
"I love these guys," Sun said as he watched everything by the door with the girl rolling her eyes while Neptune was really unlucky when he was drenched in soda and wasn't pleased by it.
The doors behind them open and Glynda enters the room growling. She proceeds to use telekinesis to re-organize the room as if it wasn't trashed in the first place.
"Children, please," She said as she adjust her glasses. "Do not play with your food!"
Nora burps aloud as the three teams try and fail to compose themselves. A screaming Yang then crashes from the ceiling into one of the tables. Glynda grumbles. Ozpin approaches and places a hand on her shoulder.
"Let it go," Ozpin said as Glynda let out a sigh.
"They're supposed to be the defenders of the world," She said.
"And they will be, but right now they're still children, so why not let them play the part?" Ozpin said said as the three teams were still laughing together. He then walks away from Glynda, "After all, it isn't a role they'll have forever."
As he was about to leave, Ozpin noticed the three teens by the door.
"May I help you three?" The headmaster asked them.
"Well, I was looking for someone and I see that he's in there, the other two just want to walk with me," The girl said as she then points to Sun and the cola covered Neptune.
"I see, then you better have a good talk with him," Ozpin then looked to Neptune. "And you better get yourself cleaned up, I heard grape stains aren't really easy to remove."
Neptune nervously laugh and said, "Yes sir."
The blue haired teen dragged a protesting Sun away which leaves the young woman in the cafeteria.
Ozpin then gave the girl one last look and said, "I must go now, there's still some unfinished business in my office."
Ozpin then leaves with Glynda just behind him, the girl then calmly approach the three teams as she has her hands, she was then close enough as she smiled to the other twelve teens.
"Hey Red," The girl said as the twelve teens look to her direction as Red, Blue, and Pyrrha were surprised by her.
"Diantha!" Red shouted in joy as he ran up to the now named Diantha and gave her a hug. Both Blue and Pyrrha followed suite as they join the hug while having bright smiles on their faces.
"Umm Red, who is this?" Jaune asked as Red looked behind him to see the rest are confused.
"Oh sorry," He turns to them and gestures to Diantha. "Let me introduce you guys to my twin sister Diantha."
The others were shocked by this as they soon approached them.
"Wow, you're not kidding that you don't look that much a like," Green said, surprised.
"You can thank our mother for that," Red said as he and Diantha laugh a little, he then look to his sister. "Anyways, this is my friends here in Beacon. First is Team RWBY and their leader Ruby."
"Hello," Ruby greeted.
"Then her partner Weiss."
"Greetings," Weiss greeted.
"Next is Blake."
Blake just wave at her.
"Then her partner Yang."
"Nice to meetcha," Yang greeted with a grin.
"Hello as well," Diantha said to them as Red then look at Pyrrha's team.
"This is Pyrrha's team, Team JNPR and their leader Jaune."
"Hey there," Jaune greeted.
"Then our resident bomber Nora."
"HI!" Nora shouted in excitement.
"And their final member, Ren."
Ren just gave her a nod.
"Nice to meet you three as well, I hope you took great care of Pyrrha," Diantha said as Red then look at his own team.
"And finally my own team, the blonde over their is my partner Yellow."
"It's nice to meet you," Yellow said.
"And Blue's partner Green."
"What's up," Green said as Diantha giggles a bit.
"I hope my brother wasn't a hassle," She said as Red glares at her.
"Hey," Everyone laughs much to Red's dismay as everyone quickly calm down.
"Man, I hope you could hang out with us sometimes," Yang said.
"We could, I did heard from Red that you guys hang out last week, all night long. Our other friends could even join us," Diantha said to them.
"Um... How many would that be?" Jaune asked them.
"There would be six more that would be joining us and three of them are graduates, we have other friends but they went with different careers so we don't see each other that much," Red said as everyone grew curious.
"When do we meet them?" Ruby asked.
"They are probably still adjusting in Beacon, we might no possibly meet them till they finish," Blue said.
"But of course that they would probably get some free time so they would join us," Red assures them till he placed a hand on his sister's shoulder. "And I think this is our cue to leave, we're going to have brother and sister time."
"Red, we still have classes," Yellow reminded him as Red looked shocked and everyone laughed at him, including his own sister.
"We can do it in the afternoon, you should prioritize more with your studies," Diantha said as she went up and leave, before waving back at the three teams. "Tata."
As Diantha left, the three teams looked at each other.
"Man, your sister is quite a looker," Yang commented.
"You could thank my grandmother for that, Diantha is a big fashion fan, but she has the drive of a Huntsmen from our parents," Red said to them.
"Then she better be ready for the Festival, cause we're gonna win it all!" Nora said in excitement.
"She's not the only one we have to worry," Ren reminded the eccentric girl. "We have to worry about her team and the other teams in the Festival that clearly have their own ways to win."
"Their weapons, Semblance, the amount of their Aura, and their attitude will be the deciding point of the Festival," Blue said to them, listing every possibility in the upcoming Festival. "We will never know how they would fight together, but they would never know ours as well."
"So if we're in the Colsseum for our match, we make sure that we reach the top," Red said as he let his hand out. "That we will do our best, we will fight till the end, and we will not give up. For Beacon?"
The others smiled as they nod at one another, they then put their hands over Red's.
"For Beacon!" They shouted at once as they simultaneously raise their hands in the air.
They will show the world who they are, what they are made of, and how determined they are to do it. It might take some time till it begins, until the tournament began, they'll take it head on.
And that is it for that chapter!
I could already someone is flaming me because of this, but fuck you all because this is my story and I could do whatever I want with it. So if I say Red's sister is Diantha then I'll make it happen.
I really have become really into mixing the anime and manga together to make a proper time-line to the now singular series. I really can't do it myself since I am very forgetful and I only ever watched random episodes on the anime so I don't follow a lot of it. I, of course, could help on the idea of it since I have made some progress on it.
Of course, if this does happens, then there will be a hundred changes in the anime if the concept of the manga actually being a decade or more before the anime, and I just love the concept of it.
As a reminder to you guys, I'm not trying to divert this story away from the main RWBY time-line too much because it becoms more complex for me. There would be times that there would be focus on the four main cast of this story, which would take a lot of time of creating. This doesn't mean I am diverting this story away from the original, but an added part of it that still follows the main story. Small and big changes are okay with me, but taking a very sharp turn bothers me a lot. That is why I am trying to not do it in my other stories because of this same reason.
If I have to create more stories then I have to need some way that could help me do it without watching the series or read their mamga versions of it because I only read fanfics for content so I never went away from reading fanfics because there are so many possible stories that people do and becomes a big distraction for me.
But enough of that, there's still more chapters to do and I can't wait for you guys to read it, so that's it for now.
