Zarius - I have planned even more for Louie in the future and there's gonna be even more graphic (in other words, bloody) moments in the upcoming chapters (like this one).
=Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003=
=Attack of the Mousers Part 3=
April, Splinter and the turtles kept following the news broadcast from the big TV screen as at least two more shots of the other vaults from the several other recently robbed banks were showed in the big screen.
April's and the turtles' suspicions grew even larger when they saw that the vaults in the aftermath of the bank robbery looked exactly the same just like the first one's: A big and forcefully torn holes in middle of the vaults floors, the piles of dozens emptied safety deposit boxes, a countless identical-looking three-footed footprints all around in the floor and walls.
Then April was the first to break the silence, as the sudden realization hit her.
"So... this must be what I heard Dr. Stockman talking about. He's got the Mousers robbing banks." she said as she turned from big TV-screen to the turtles.
"We saw you with him in his press conference event on TV yesterday, so you probably know something about this guy." Dom told her..
Raph, who was still sitting on the couch, agreed with Dom as spoke up next. "Yeah. So, April. What do you know about this Stockman-guy?" he asked interestingly.
"We'll, he's a genius, but also nuts! I used to work for him with the thought that the Mousers were meant for the good intentions. But when I got suspicious of his motives after overhearing him speaking with somebody with a deep and ominous-sounding voice, he turned the whole Mouser battalion on me. Luckily I ran into you, guys." April explained.
""The whole Mouser battalion" you say, huh?" Mary questioned before recalling their fight with eight hundred "evolved" Mousers in the sewers the last night. "That explains the Mouser army we encountered in the sewers while we were trying to trace their source before crossing our paths with you."
April was surprised to hear this. "You were trying to trace the Mousers' source? Why?" she asked, suddenly interested to hear the turtles' own motives.
"You see, April, we have a scores to settle with this Stockman-guy... and for the very good reasons." Louie told her.
"Shell yeah!" Leo agreed. "He's the one who destroyed our old lair and nearly killed our Sensei almost a week ago."
"Do you know anything about this?" Dom questioned from April.
"No, I don't." April replied. "But I have a reason to believe why. It must been one of his test runs."
""Test runs?" What do you mean by these 'test runs?'" Mary questioned, baffled of this information.
"Well, yesterday when I was running routine diagnostic check, I noticed that half of the Mousers were suspiciously disappeared. Stockman claimed it to be a mere glitch but I knew otherwise. And when Stockman was speaking with his 'financial backer,' I overheard him mentioning something about the field test, which purpose he said was to find potential design flaws so that he could upgrade the Mousers' endurance." April explained.
"What?! You're saying that he demolished our sewer chamber to the level of the ground just for some field test?!" Arcee exclaimed, shocked.
"But... that was our home." Mikey said sadly.
"That guy really has the nerve! First he destroyed our childhood home to test his little robo-pests. Then he nearly killed our Sensei... twice already. Then he sent that Mouser battalion to kill April to cover his tracks." Dom angrily listed off.
"Now he has graduated to the banks!" Donnie snarled, finishing for Dom.
Arcee then suddenly gasped in horror that got everybody's attentions. They all turned to the turtle in pink as she pointed at the big TV-screen.
"And just when we thought that he couldn't lower himself any lower than this! Look!" Turtle in pink exclaimed with the horrified voice.
There was an another large bank building on the big TV-screen, probably the announcement of the new bank robbery on this morning. However, this fourth or so bank robbery was even more destructive - and even more tragic - than the three first ones.
"A fourth bank robbery is something what has never seen before. The eyewitnesses managed to record the video about what happened, which shows us that the bank literally "sunk" into the massive and out of nowhere appeared sinkhole beneath of the bank's base. The authorities believe there were still people inside the building before it sank. The rescue mission to save possible survivors of this accident has lasted all morning. When the rescuers finally got inside of into a ground sunken building, they were waited by even tragic sight than what in the previous banks. I recommend viewers to cover the eyes of the youngest of the family, as the following shots may be disturbing to children." The reporter's voice informed.
Everything at first seemed to be fine and normal, as it should be, until came a sudden deep rumbling from below the ground, halting and startling all the pedestrians in the area. The rumbling kept going, until the ground beneath of the bank building began to shake violently and crack ominously, just like back in the turtles' old lair, causing the large amount of people both around and inside of the bank to run away in panic. And very soon, the ground under the bank gave in and collapsed, causing the whole building to sink into the massive sinkhole-like hole with the thunderous noise, taking both cars and unfortunate people with it as well, until it eventually crashed to the bottom of the hole, leaving only its rooftop visible. However, the cracks had already reached to the foundations of all the buildings near/around the bank, making them all prone to collapse as well. And when the bank did sink into the ground, all the other buildings either partially or completely collapsed onto the roof of the sunken bank, burying it under all the rubble.(1)
Then the screen turned to show the inside of the badly wrecked bank's front hall, which condition looked like it had just been in the grasp of an 'earthquake'. The group of rescuers had already descended there to search for the survivors. However, the rescuers were dumbfounded when they discovered that one of the sunken bank's walls, where the bank's front doors used to be, was completely gone. An hole in the wall led to a roughly dug tunnel that had mysteriously appeared under the streets, leading to the unknown away from the bank. There was also a countless number of the same three-toed footprints that came from the tunnel into the bank and headed towards the bank vault's round steel door, that was forcefully torn - or rather chewed - open, and the condition of this vault was exactly the same like in the other banks. Observing further, the screen showed that the rescue group had found at least two dozen people, who were left trapped inside when the bank sunk to the ground. There was about thirteen customers, six bank employees plus the bank manager and four security guards. However, just like the reporter had earlier warned about the following shots being possibly disturbing to the youngest people, these people were found all dead. Some of them had been crushed to death under the collapsed rubble but the rest of them had faced even more gruesome end. These humans had been brutally torn apart, limb by limb, and their bodies were covered by the multiple huge bleeding bite marks that looked almost like from the shark's teeth, with the huge chunks of flesh savagely torn off from these humans' limbs, necks and torsos. Some of the victims had been even ravaged to the point that their crimson-colored bones were peeking from under of the torn flesh.(1)
The turtles were left shocked of what they'd just seen in TV, and April was left utterly horrified of the gruesome fate of those poor souls that she put her hands over her mouth.
Arcee was left horrified by this carnage as well, to the point that she stood petrified in place, unable to move a limb, and the tears of shock escaped from her eyes and ran down her cheeks. Splinter moved to Arcee's side and gently turned his daughter's head and eyes away from the horrific bloodbath.
Louie then hurriedly grabbed the remote from the table and turned the big TV screen off.
"Okay, now he has lowered himself to the bank robbery, but also to the very terrorism and cold-blooded homicide!" the turtle in black spat bitterly, disgusted and enraged of such of crimes Stockman had heartlessly committed with his Mousers.
"Definitely! That homicidal madman has gone too far!" Dom exclaimed.
"Agree! We gotta stop him before he and his robots get more foothold in this city. And we need to do it now!" Leo declared, punching his fist with determination.
Raph was more than overjoyed to hear that one.
"Just what I've been dying to hear." the turtle in red grinned, as he got up from the couch and drew out his Sais. "Then what are we still standing here on our shells? I'll say that we go to Strocktronics and shut down the whole Mouser central, PERMANENTLY!" he added with determination as he crossed his Sais' blades over like in X in front of his face.
"Even for once in my life, I'm totally agree with Raph! We have to put an end to this madness once and for all!" Dom declared with determination.
"Shell yeah! That whackbag deserves everything that's coming for him: A personal payback, the mother of all the punishments and utter DOWNFALL!" Louie listed off with eagerness as well, while pulling out his Butterflies out and spinning them in his hands for a moment before taking his natural fighting pose: Holding his short swords horizontally in front of his face so that their flat sides were reflecting (via his imagination) Stockman and his army of Mousers themselves, with the reflection of Stockman's head being in the upper sword's blade the rest of his body and the Mousers in the lower sword's blade.
Mikey laughed at his brothers' show-offs. "I just love your live-action movie lines! You wrote them by yourself, bros?"
However, April had the doubts about the nature of the situation. "I'm afraid it won't be easy, guys. Strocktronics has been rigged with the latest up-to-the-minute security tech." she explained.
"Pfft! So what? Bring it on!" Mikey scoffed mockingly at this claim as he walked behind of Donnie. "Allow me to introduce our very own secret weapon that can give a challenge to Stockman's evil mind. The techno-turtle himself, DONATELLO!" Mikey exclaimed as he gestured at Donnie with his hand.
"C'mon. Take a bow in a front of the lady, Don!" Mikey teased his brainy brother.
Blushing at Mikey's flattery and tease, Donatello let out a small chuckle, feeling a bit awkward. "Ah, cut it out!"
However, everybody then turned to Raph, as the turtle in red started to shake his hands out of hardly controlled impatience.
"AW... CAN... WE... JUST... GO?! PLEASE?!"
###
Later that night, April led the turtles down the sewer tunnel that led right beneath of the Strocktronics building, with Donnie following right behind her, followed by Leo, Louie, Arcee, Mary, Dom, Mikey and Raph at the back. It didn't took long before April stopped dead in tracks at the beeping sound that came close by and held his hand up to signal the turtles to stop.
"Alright. We're here." April said to the turtles.
"Are we now directly under of Strocktronics?" Arcee asked, looking at the ceiling of the tunnel.
"Shh!" Donnie hushed, demanding silence.
"We must be very careful now, because THOSE things are placed everywhere in here." April said, pointing at the beeping silent motion sensor in the wall, right on their way.
They had to deactivate the alarm if they wanted to keep going undetected.
"Louie? Your Butterfly sword. I need to borrow it for a moment." Donnie said, stretching out his hand towards Louie, who peeked from behind of Leo's shell-back.
The turtle in black obeyed and handed over one of his Butterfly swords to Donnie. And with that, April and Donnie moved in to deactivate the alarm. Crouching down to avoid themselves to getting caught, April moved underneath of the alarm to its other side while Donnie used the sharp tip of Louie's sword to carefully open its lid. And once it was open, Donnie and April began to deactivate it piece by piece.
Mikey was puzzled by this. "Security alarms in the sewers? Is this guy paranoid or what?" he joked.
"Will you shut it?" Raph snarled quietly at the turtle in orange.
"What? Just saying." Mikey shrugged.
"Can April and I have some silence here, please? This is a very delicate work." Donnie requested, before he returned to deactivating the alarm.
"'Oooh! April and I. This is a very delicate work.' Mikey mockingly mimicked Donnie's words before crossing his arms. "Geez! Give me a break."
Dom turned annoyed to his baby brother and smacked him to the head.
"Ow!" Mikey winced in pain before he rubbed his head with his hand and scowled at Dom.
"Do we need to feed you the glue to keep your mouth shut or what?" the turtle in white snapped half sarcastically and half seriously.
A bit later
After the alarm had been deactivated, the turtles and April looked for the way into Strocktronics which they did find soon: the building's air conditioning duct, which out of coincidence made the small cut in the level of the sewer tunnel before heading back towards the surface and into the building.
Louie took it from here and took out his Butterfly swords before using them to slice a large part off from the side of the air duct - which almost did look like he was cutting the butter with a knife. Louie's swift and almost effortless 'knife-work' created a big hole enough for April and turtles to get into the duct.
And because the inside of the air duct was fortunately spacious enough for the turtles to fit in, the turtles were able to move in the ducts without much trouble and sneak along them to inside of the building without being detected by Stockman's brown-coated security guards, that patrolled in the building's hallways.
They eventually reached to the end of the line: A large air vent, outside of which was one of the building's corridors leading in two directions, which curved on the left to the right and on the right to the left. And in the opposite wall, there was a door into which had been labelled "LAB".
"Is this the place, April?" Raph asked, as he and April peeking through of the vent to see that was there anybody in the corridor.
"Yes. You see that door, Raph? There's a computer terminal. If you can get me in, I can create blank spots in the security system to get you eight through to Stockman's location, which I believe to be in the control panel room in the facility and the Mouser storage area."
"Good! You handle the security system and we'll handle both the source and that madman for good." Louie agreed with the plan.
"And speaking about the blank spots... Don't look now, we already got a blank spot right here." Raph joked, as he pointed with his thumb at Mikey behind him.
"Hey!" Mikey exclaimed offended.
"Keep it down you two and focus!" Leo snapped in behind of them, before the turtle in blue began to give the instructions to his siblings. "Dom and Mary? You two secure this corridor and keep an eye for the guards. Raph and Louie? You two get April into that lab so that she can do her thing with the security system."
Raph nodded to the turtle in blue, before he turned back to the air vent and re-positioned himself in the duct that his feet were placed against the air vent.
"Knock, knock." Raph joked before kicking the vent off the wall. And once the vent was off its place, he, Louie, Mary and Dom moved out into the corridor.
And once they were in the corridor, Mary made haste to get her position in behind of the left corner of the corridor, while Dom did the same in the right corner of the corridor. And once there, the turtles in turquoise and white pressed themselves against the wall and carefully peeked from behind the corners to see if there were any patrols of Stroctronics' security guards either leaving or incoming towards them.
However, the corridors behind the corners seemed to be empty for now.
"All clear from here!" Dom reported.
"Clear here as well!" Mary reported.
With the corridor secured and the coast clear, Louie rushed to the door of the lab and tried to open it while Raph helped April in through the went, shortly followed by Mikey, Leo, Arcee and Donnie as they jumped out of the vent into the corridor one by one.
However, Louie soon found out that the door was locked.
"Raph! The door is locked! I need your Sai here." the turtle in black said, requesting for one of Raph's Sai so that he could use it to pick the lock open.
"Move! I'll handle this." Raph said as he moved the turtle in black out of his way so that he could handle this himself, before he turned to the door and took out one of his Sai. The turtle in red then moved his Sai's tip into the lock's key hole and carefully twisted his weapon's blade in a clockwise direction, till they heard "click", and the door was unlocked.
Once Raph opened the door, Louie jumped up and grabbed from the door jambs as he swung himself over Raph and inside of the dark room. The turtle in black flipped around for three-four times before he landed on his feet to the floor, a small distance away from the door and looked around into the darkness like expecting for ambush or a booby trap.
Raph soon followed him in by flipping onto his hands to the floor before he pushed himself up again and flipped on his feet to Louie's shoulders. Raph then jumped off Louie's shoulders and flipped around high in the air before he landed onto his feet in middle of the room, both Sais drawn out and ready to face anyone who was hiding within the shadows.
However, after a moment of waiting for anyone to show up and attack them, it seemed that there was nobody in the dark room.
"All clear." Louie reported to the others waiting outside the room.
The other turtles and April, with Mary and Dom at the back, entered inside of the room.
April then hurried to the computer, turned it on and began immediately hack into the security system program to do her trick.
"Okay, guys! I'm in! I'm blanking the security cameras along that corridor at 10-second intervals, so you've got to keep moving and move fast." April told them, before she turned back to the computer screen.
"What about you?" Mary asked.
"I know my own way to the facility. I'll rejoin you guys when you've got Stockman." April told her.
"Okay. We'll see you there." Leo said.
"Good luck to you, and..." April was about to say as she turned back to the turtles, only to be surprised to see that all eight turtles had vanished from the room within a mere seconds and without letting a sound.
"Hey! These guys are pretty good."
###
Heading for Stockman's whereabouts, the eight turtles ran down the hallway as fast as they could. They had to make haste, because April said exactly that the security cameras of this corridor will be gone blank for 10 seconds before going on again.
The plan seemed to go smoothly so far, as no one has sounded the alarm yet even though they had already passed several surveillance cameras in the corridor's ceiling, meaning that they were indeed blanked by April's hacking. And in addition of that, the turtles did not encounter any of Stockman's security guards on their way... even by an accident, which further enhanced their chances to get to Stockman unopposed and without delay.
They soon reached to the end of the line, where was located the entrance to the spacious but dark room.
The doors also were left open, allowing the turtles to enter without any sort of troubles, which got the turtles suspicious about the situation.
Their instincts were warning them about the possible setup inside the room, but knowing that Stockman might be in the dark mysterious room with whatever he had saved for them, the turtles had no choice but to step inside.
With their weapons drawn out - while Arcee help up her Yumi bow with the arrow in its place on the string, and pulled the string back to keep it tensed and ready to release the arrow at anything if this is revealed to be a trap - the turtles moved slowly and cautiously inside of the room.
"I don't like this. It's too quiet for comfort." Leo voiced his worries.
"I don't see anything." Arcee complained.
"Be on your guard, and if you see glowing spots within the darkness, stay away from them." Dom urged, reminding everyone of Stockman's army of Mousers.
"How we're gonna find him from the big dark room. He could be anywhere hiding like the coward he is." Louie questioned.
Mikey was then the next to voice his own worries.
"Um... guys? I feel my turtle-senses tingling." Mikey gulped, suspecting something bad to be about to happen... now.
Before anyone could react, the metal doors suddenly slammed shut behind of the turtles' shell backs, locking them inside of the dark room.
Then, all of a sudden, the lights came to life, much to the turtles' surprise that they had to cover their eyes with their hands.
And once the dark room was enlightened, it revealed to the turtles what was inside the room, that was revealed to be a large white hall.
And, in addition of that, the hall happened to be what they were searching for yesterday by tracking down Donnie's fixed Mouser in the sewers: the Mousers' source.
The source was the massive facility with dozens of broad moving platforms, onto which had been placed hundreds and hundreds - who knows if not even thousands - of currently deactivated "evolved" Mousers to stand in dozens of eight individuals' rows. There was also several running conveyor belts that conveyed the Mousers one by one over the big platforms and to both sides of the hall. From the ceiling of the hall was hanging a dozens of mechanical clawed cranes that were moving the Mousers from the conveyor belts onto the platforms with the others. There was also rows of columns, that help up the catwalks protected with the angular glass domes, running along the walls of the hall.
"So, this is the central of Stockman's laboratory." Donatello questioned, observing the whole place. "Fascinating."
"I disagree, Donnie." Arcee snapped. "especially when there's enough of Mousers to chew the foundations of the whole New York City into nothingness."
"Guys! Shouldn't we be more focused on finding Stockman?!" Raph snapped impatiently, snarling aggressively as he eyed the army of Mousers slowly moving pass him on the platforms and conveyor belts before his eyes. He also couldn't bear so much steam inside of himself after seeing so much of "evolved" successors of the ones that destroyed their old home and nearly killed their Sensei and April. So the turtle in red decided to let out some steam by kicking one off from the conveyor belt.
"No need for that, Raph. Not anymore at least. He's up there!" Leo exclaimed, as he pointed up at the top of the column where was with the glass dome protected control panel room, where the other catwalks led.
And there indeed... was Stockman himself.
"INTRUDERS?! HERE TO STEAL MY SECRETS?! FOOLS! YOU'LL LEAVE HERE WITH NOTHING... NOT EVEN WITH YOUR LIVES!" Stockman said darkly in the speaker.
"Man, that one was a bad line." Mikey commented.
Suddenly...
"BY THE GOD'S LOVE! WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU?!" Stockman wondered aloud with the surprised voice, apparently having seen the turtles and realizing that they're not a humans as he had probably thought at first.
"Surprised, Stockman?!" Arcee yelled back.
"You wanna come down here to find out?! Please! Be my guess!" Louie bellowed to Stockman with the daring attitude.
However, Stockman responded to that by chuckling grimly through of speaker.
"I GOT A BETTER IDEA! HOW ABOUT IF I REMAIN IN HERE AND WATCH HOW MY LITTLE PETS MAKE YOU READY TO DISSECTION OPERATION FOR ME TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU ARE?" Stockman asked both sarcastically and sadistically as he seemed to prepare something for the turtles.
"Stockman! You gotta listen the reason! Don't make the situation even harder for you! You better quit all this madness while you still got the head on your shoulders!" Dom tried to talk to Stockman, to make him to listen the reason.
However, his words fell to the deaf ears of the mad scientist.
"WELL, YOU FOOLISH IMBECILES SHOULD HAVE NEVER COME HERE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE - OR SHOULD I SAY 'HAD' - YOUR PATHETIC LIVES! NOW ITS TOO LATE FOR YOU TO TURN BACK!" Stockman countered, before a secret doorway beneath of Stockman's control room suddenly opened, revealing the dark room inside.
Louie groaned and shook his head in frustration at Dom's poor attempt to reason with Stockman diplomatically.
"You and your diplomacy! Geez! When will you get rid of that naive attitude of yours, bro?" Louie snapped at Dom, as the turtles readied themselves to face off whatever was coming out from the dark room behind the secret door.
It was once again a silent moment... and the atmosphere around the turtles was tensed and a little distressing, because they didn't know what Stockman had just unleashed for them. The army of Mousers was of course their first guess, but because none of the Mousers on the platforms and conveyor belts snarled and moved towards them, they assumed it to be something far more worse.
Soon, as soon as out of the room came the rhythmic sound of the heavy footsteps, through of the doorway came out another the single "evolved" Mouser robot, but this individual was much different compared its previous versions.
This newest version was almost three times bigger than teenager ninja turtle, it had a purple-colored hind limbs and its appearance and posture resembled a pretty much dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaur. Like with the "evolved" Mousers, this version too had the upper body between the heads and stern, and they also had the mechanical arms with the Mousers' gigantic heads as hands. The big difference in this new version was its head, which no longer resembled the regular Mouser head with the eye and serrated jaws. It's head looked more like a box, which had red lid-like topside.(2) The turtles gazed upon the robot with wide eyes as it fully emerged out from the room's darkness into the hall and 'stared" back at the turtles.
"OBSERVE THIS MAGNIFICENT TECHNOLOGY MY INGENIOUS MIND HAS CREATED! NONE OF YOU WILL ESCAPE FROM THEM! YOU WILL SOON ALL BE TORN TO SHREDS!" Stockman declared, chuckling maliciously.
Louie scoffed at this claim. "Them? Oh boy! I think that for a mad scientist you have a seriously bad math head, Stockman! There's only one big piece of tin! Not a big deal."
However, suddenly even more secret doors began to open in both sides of the first one, three from the left and four from the right. And followed by the sevenfold thunderous sound of the heavy footsteps, out of each room's darkness emerged seven more identical looking giant Mouser robots, that lined up alongside the first individual.
The turtles stared at the robots with even wider eyes and slack-jawed, knowing that their chances to get to Stockman have just grown harder tenfold.
"You really had to provoke him. DID YOU, BRO?" Mary snapped to her brother.
All eight giant Mouser robots then approached the turtles menacingly as they formed the crescent-shaped line to surround the turtles and to block their way to Stockman.
Some of them even tried to intimidate the turtles by standing high up and snapping their Mouser hands' serrated jaws together with the loud sound, which sounded like the mixture of the loud metallic CLANK and the slashing of knifes, while others merely snarled at the turtles, revealing that inside of their box-shaped heads had been actually placed the rocket launchers with the full load.
"Whoa! I don't like the looks of this. This one is a way bigger and tougher one to chew than the last time, which looked almost like picking up the daisies." Mikey gulped as he stared with utter worry at the size and weaponry of these new giant Mousers.
"You're telling me, bro!" Arcee said, equally worried about their odds.
Donnie was rather impressed by the mere sight of these highly upgraded Mouser robots.
'"Incredible! Such of upgraded technology with these things!" the brainy turtle in purple commented
"Yeah! Reeeeaally incredible oversized walking shell peelers!" Raph replied sarcastically.
"Stay focused here, guys!" Leo snapped, a little irritated of his siblings' lack of focus on their situation. "Remember what we came here for!"
"Yes! We cannot let Stockman to use his little killer-toys for evil ever again!" Dom exclaimed as he prepared himself for the inevitable battle against these robots.
Louie in particularly was all ready to kick some killer robot to the robot-butt. "Yeah! I'm ready to play with Stockman's oversized toys!" he declared, grinning like the maniac.
"Oh! Make the turtle-soup out of me!" Dom sighed with the irritated facepalm at his younger brother's attitude, even in the face of the threat of the giant Mousers they were about to face.
"Well then... shall we get to work?" Mary asked while spinning her Naginata with her right hand.
"Definitely!" Leo confirmed before taking the lead. "Turtles! For our childhood home! For New York! Let's do this!"
"SHELL YEAH!" all eight turtles shouted at the same time before they charged or leaped forward to attack the giant Mousers, letting out their common battle cry that echoed loudly in the hall.
"LET'S TURTLEIZE THEM!"
"MEAN IN GREEN, HALLELLUJAH!" Louie added.
To Be Continued.
TRIVIA
(1) - The collapse of the bank is based on the moment in the second issue of the original TMNT mirage comic books, where Stockman has his Mousers to demolish the tall building after making the silhouetted ultimatum and the ransom demand to New York in TV. I of course skipped the ultimatum and the ransom part from my story.
(2) - The eight Giant Mouser robots are based on the Giant Mouser boss from the TMNT 2003 video game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 GBA Giant Mouser Boss served earlier as the inspiration for my story's 'evolved' Mousers with Mouser-heads as hands. This time, I replaced the laser cannon cranes (which originally were the turtles' last obstacle/opponent between them and Stockman in the original episode) with the eight Giant Mouser robots.
