=Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003=
=Meet Casey Jones Part 2=

Later, Louie had left from the lair to look for Raph, without Master Splinter's permission even after he had informed him why he was going.

The turtle in black had exited from the sewers through of the manhole in the alleyway and then climbed up to the rooftops, where Louie was running along the roofs and leaping/flipping over the small and wide gaps between the buildings with ease. If Louie was out here merely out of having a leisure time, he would've enjoyed of this as one of those rare moments when he was able to get to visit in the topside and have a little run around. However, he was here only to find his absent hotheaded brother, whom be believed to be still sulking in shame from the shocking events earlier today in somewhere where the human eye would not easily detect him.

On his way, Louie paid a several short-lasting stops to the edges of the buildings to check out every dark alley he walked past.

He checked each of the abandoned and empty wooden water towers he came across.

He thoroughly went through all the abandoned buildings from the roof to the basement.

He did not leave any dark place unchecked.

However, despite his efforts since leaving the sewers, the turtle in black wasn't able to find his brother for several hours.

"C'mon, brother! Where are you?" Louie muttered in growing frustration.

Louie nonetheless kept searching, not wanting to give up yet.

A little later, the turtle in black jumped off the edge of the roof and landed onto the railing of the fire escape beneath the edge. Louie then crouched down and looked down into the dark alley to see that was Raph down there.

Like in every other dark alleyway he'd checked earlier, he wasn't here neither.

But instead of finding Raph, however, Louie noticed that there was someone else in the alley, and immediately realized that something was going on down there.

A red-haired woman in the brown coat and purse on her shoulder was walking all alone in the dark alley, nervously looking around.

However, she soon gasped when two tough-looking men emerged out of the alley's shadows, blocking the woman's path.

Louie recognized these two immediately: Purple Dragons whom they'd met back in that alley during of their first journey to the topside!

The larger one of two had the blue dyed face, purple dyed Mohawk on top of the head, a black shirt, a green pants with purple braces and the S-shaped Dragon symbol in his pants. Another one had the tan skin, a cap sideways on his head, yellow and white shirt with the purple sleeves - and S-shaped Dragon in it - and the grey cargo pants.

"Blue-face and Cap-head?" Louie muttered.

The woman backed away from the Dragons in fear, until she bumped into a third tough-looking guy, whom Louie recognized as well. This one had the upright and orange spiky hair and chin beard, green goggles on his forehead, a green shirt atop of which was a black vests with two dragons branded on it.

All three surrounded the woman, cutting her escape from the alley.

"Oh, no!" the woman gulped.

"Hand over the purse, lady and we won't hurt you. Too much..." the Spiky-head Dragon demanded threateningly.

"No! Please... Leave me alone!" the woman pleaded, but the Dragon goons laughed at the woman's pleas.

Blue-face and Cap-head then grabbed the woman by her arms to hold her still, while the Spiky-head grabbed the purse and snatched it out of her hands.

However, the thugs were not done with her yet.

"What do you say, fellas, if we have a little "fun" with the lady. We all have a whole night." Spiky-head suggested with the sadistic smirk, earning a sinister chuckle from the other two Dragons.

Louie's eyes went wide and mouth went slack when he realized what the Spiky-hair thug meant about having "fun" with the lady.

"Gonna defile that woman by forcing yourself into her, aren't you?" Louie snarled as he scowled at the thug, utterly disgusted of his intentions and eager to bust his head. "Just you wait, punk. I'm gonna spank your sorry carcass back to the Stone Age...! And this time, I won't be as gentle on you like the last time."(1)

Louie was about to leap down to the woman's defense, as the Spiky-head thug was about to remove his belt and take off his pants.(1)

"You said it, bro! These guys REALLY picked the wrong night to piss me off any further." said Raph's voice next to Louie.

"AGH!" Louie yelped, startled by Raph's sudden and unexpected appearance next to him on the railing of the fire escape, which almost caused a black turtle to lose his balance and wobble back and forth on the railing. Louie was close to falling off the railing and down the alley if Raph hadn't acted quickly - even without looking as his eyes were fixed down to the scene at the alley - and grabbed a firm grip on his brother's shoulder to keep him still till he managed to regain his balance.

"Raph?! Where the shell you've been! I've been looking for you for several hours!" Louie hissed in loud whisper as he turned to Raph.

"Letting out some steam and calming myself down somewhere. Now I'm just looking for something to what I can vent my frustration and self-loathing on. And now, I've found one." Raph shortly explained as he let go of his brother's shoulder and gestured his hand at the scene down in the alley.

"Actually, I found this first." Louie corrected him, pointing with his thump at himself.

"Which I claimed already, bro, so get used to it." Raph countered firmly. "And don't start argue with me, Loue, because I'm really not in the mood for that. I'm in the mood of busting some punks' heads without delay, so you better to be satisfied with what you can get. Got it?"

Raph dared Louie to argue back with the firm and piercing look into his brother's eyes. Louie really wanted to argue back, until he heard the woman's screams for help - as she was about to get ##### by the Spiky-head thug - which told him not to waste time to the pointless argument about the fair shares when the innocent victim's life was at stake.(1)

So Louie stood down, though not without giving his hot-headed brother an annoyed sigh and eye-roll.

"Whatever." Louie shrugged. "But leave that Spiky-head guy alone, will ya? He is mine. Mine alone!"

"Deal!" Raph agreed.

With his pants down, the Spiky-head thug reached his hands towards the woman's legs, intending to strip her up as well and get down to business.

"Let's see what is under of what skirt of yours, shall we, honey?" Spiky head chuckled darkly.(1)

"NO, PLEASE! HEEEELP!" the woman screamed as she kept struggling in the other two thugs' rough grasps.

The turtles in red and black then prepared themselves to leap together down into action, until a new male voice cut in before they could.

"Oh, Purple Draaaagons!" it called with the teasing singsong voice, followed by the loud banging against something metal. "Come out and plaaaay!"

"What's this?" Raph questioned, confused, as he and Louie turned to the entrance of the alley.

They saw a tall and well-built man with a blue shoulder-length hair entering the alley. He was wearing a crimson-red tank top, blue tracksuit pants and a white hockey-mask on his face. This new guy had a golf bag filled with various melee weapons in his back and he was holding in his left hand the can lid what he was banging with the hockey stick to get the Dragons' attention while taunting them with the singsong voice.

"Well, well, well! What do we have here?" Louie, as his confusion switched into interest as he eyed curiously at the newcomer.

"Ugh! the Spiky-head Dragon groaned in annoyance at the sight of the masked guy as if he knew him. "It's that killjoy psycho with the hockey mask!" he said to his fellow Dragons as he pulled his pants back on.

"Let's get him!" he added and the Dragons completely forgot the lady as they rushed towards the masked guy.

Raph and Louie decided to remain where they were to see how three-on-one situation was gonna go.

"That guy must be the vigilante in a hockey mask mentioned in the news lately." Louie said to his brother.

"Who cares? Now we see him in the real picture... and what's the best: in the action yet. This is going to be good." Raph grinned.

The Spiky-head Dragon sent the first punch at the masked man, which the vigilante-guy dodged before whacking the thug straight to the face with a trash can lid, knocking him down on his back to the ground and out. He then lifted the lid up to use it like a shield to fend off the Blue-face Dragon's incoming punch.

"GONG!"

"OW!"the Blue-face groaned in pain from his fist's painful impact against the lid. The large thug then pulled his hand back and backed away from the vigilante, while rubbing it sore hand with his other. However, the respite was short-lived when the vigilante-guy charged forward and whacked Blue-face right to the head with his hockey stick, sending him to the ground.

The vigilante-guy then tossed the lid away and turned to the last one, the Cap-head Dragon. The thug raised his hands up in surrender after seeing his fellows being knocked down by the vigilante guy. However, when the vigilante guy kept advancing him, ignoring his surrender, the Cap-head panicked and attempted to flee, but he didn't get far as he was quickly caught on and knocked down by the vigilante-guy as well.

After all three were knocked down and out, except for the Cap-head thug who was barely still in conscious from the pretty hard strike to his face, the vigilante-guy advanced on him menacingly till he stood over the downed Dragon.

"No mercy, filthy Dragon-scum," the vigilante-guy snarled darkly, raising his hockey stick up and prepared to bring it down onto the fallen Dragon. "I'm puttin' you punks outta business! Permanently!"

Raph and Louie realized that the guy in a hockey mask was taking the situation too far... just like Raph did back in the lair earlier tonight.

"Okay! That guy is out of control." Raph stated.

"Agree. We better stop him before he goes too far." Louie agreed.

As the vigilante-guy was about to bring the hockey stick down on the Dragon, Raph and Louie quickly descended from the fire escape and landed behind of the vigilante-guy. Together, the turtles seized the vigilante, with Raph grabbing him from his right arm and Louie took him into the restraining choke hold - similarity how Leo and Dom had done to restrain Raph earlier - and they pulled him away from the fallen Dragon.

"Hey! Whatta?!" the vigilante-guy exclaimed as turned to peek over his shoulders, seeing Raph and Louie attempting to restrain him.

"Easy there, cowboy. Back down! You already stopped them! You did good." Raph said face to face to the hockey-masked guy.

Raph and Louie almost expected the vigilante-guy being surprised of seeing on two legs walking and talking giant turtles. However, even though they didn't see his expression due to the mask, they sensed clearly that the guy was rather annoyed with their interference than surprised at the sight of a giant turtles.

"Take it easy, pal. I think that you already made your point. Congratulations on the good work, but calm down now, will ya?" Louie said, attempting to calm him down.

However, a hockey-masked guy showed no signs of calming down.

Without saying the word, the vigilante-guy swung his head backwards and head-butted Louie hard to the face before he broke free from Raph's grip, just in time to see the Purple Dragons having recovered and getting up to their feet before they fled from the scene.

"Dammit, they're getting away!" he shouted, before angrily turning to Raph.

"Stay outta my business, freaks!" the guy angrily demanded before punching Raph in the face. The turtle in red grunted in pain as he fell on his shell.

A hockey-masked guy then rushed out of the alley after the fleeing Dragons "You can run, scumbags, but you can't hide from Casey Jones!"

Rubbing his chin with his hand, Raph got up to his feet. He was soon joined by Louie, who was rubbing his sore forehead with his hand.

"Ouch! That was nasty move. I feel like I just got hit from the brick or something." Louie said, as he revealed having got a dark-green round bruise and small bump in middle of his forehead. "We better go after him and speak some sense into this guy. I mean... not to talk but rather knock some sense into him!" turtle in black added as he struck his palm with his fist.

"Agree, but first..." Raph said as he picked up the woman's dropped purse and walked to the woman, who was still in the alley.

Having witnessed everything that had happened before her eyes, the lady looked around of her, confused, scared and not knowing what to do.

"Sorry about that, ma'am. Here's your purse." Raph said both gently and politely though a bit awkwardly as he handed the purse back to the woman.

However, the woman was shocked by the sight of two giant turtles before her. and without saying "thanks", the woman hastily took the purse out of his hands.

"Keep away from me, you lizard-things! Keep away from me!" she shouted frantically before taking off out of the alleyway.

The turtles sighed, remembering Master Splinter's words of how the people of the surface cannot understand them due to their differences and will never accept them as who they are, giving Raph another reason more to get even more frustrated of this day than what he was already.

"(Sigh) Come on!" Raph said to Louie as he turned around and began chasing this hockey-masked guy who called himself with the name 'Casey Jones. Louie quickly followed behind.

The turtles searched for Casey from the nearby alleys, wondering where he may have gone or how far he has already got.

Before long, the turtles caught the noises coming from behind the nearby corner, and it sounded like someone was getting seriously beaten up.

The turtles hurried to behind of the corner and peeked to the other side to see that what was going on. Both turtles' eyes went wide and they gapped their mouths in shock and disbelief when they found out that it was Casey, who had caught up with the same trio earlier. The rampaging vigilante guy was standing over the downed trio, giving each one of them unceasing and brutal spanking with his hockey stick in apparent blind rage that left the Dragon goons badly beaten up, covered with countless bleeding bruises and barely conscious..

"NO MORE! PLEASE!" Blue-face pleaded before getting a few teeth knocked out from his mouth.

"WE GIVE UP! WE GIVE UP!" Spiky-head thug pleaded, covering his face with his arm.

"STOP THAT!" Cap-head thug pleaded, as he attempted to crawl away from Casey.

"YOU STOLE YOUR LAST PURSE, YOU DOGS!" Casey barked as he prepared to mercilessly whack them even more.

"Unbelievable!" Raph muttered in disbelief. "This guy just won't quit."

"I gotta admit, bro, this guy is a pretty much like you when you're angry." Louie told his brother. "No! Correction! He is even worse than you, which - unfortunately for you - means that you're now only second rate." Louie added with the teasing grin.(2)

"Very funny." Raph replied, rolling his eyes in annoyance at Louie's teasing. "C'mon, Louie! I think that now we have to use a tougher methods on him." turtle in red added.

"Works for me, bro." Louie said, hungry for small payback for the irritably stinging bruise on his forehead.

The duo then rushed from behind the corner to stop the guy from going too far. Louie then took out one of his Butterfly swords and tossed it towards Casey like the Shuriken. The sword hit Casey's hockey stick just below its curved flat head and got stuck in its thick shaft.

"Whatta...?!" a surprised vigilante exclaimed when he saw the Butterfly sword stuck in his stick, before Raph charged in from behind and kicked Casey to the back, sending him over to the ground.

"Hey, pal! I told you to cool it!" Raph said sternly to temporarily downed Casey.

Casey got up to his feet and glared at the turtle in red, his eyes visibly blazing with anger.

"Yeah? And I told you freaks to stay out of my way!" Casey said, irritated of Raph's intervention.

"And we decided to ignore it." the turtle in red responded.

Meanwhile, the beaten Dragons took an advantage of Raph's intervention and got up to their feet before running away from the scene. Casey noticed this by peeking over of his left shoulder, before he turned back to Raph.

"Bah! I do not have time for dealing with you, freakling! They're getting away, again!" Casey spat, deciding not to waste anymore time with Raph, and was about to turn around and run after the Dragons. However, the vigilante was instantly halted when Louie suddenly landed right in front of him.

"And you're not going anywhere 'till you calm down, whacko! Those Dragons aren't anymore worthy of this after the first round!" the turtle in black responded, reluctantly holding his hands up to calm the man down.

"Now, stand down!" he demanded.

"NO!" the hockey-masked guy snapped. "These wastes need to be taught the lesson!"

"No argument here, pal, but not like this!" Raph exclaimed as he tried to keep his own cool and reason with a hokey-masked guy.

"Now, I'm gonna say this once again. Stand down! And I mean it!" the turtle in red demanded.

"Oh yeah? Well, I would gladly tell you to "stay out of my way" again, and I mean that too! But since your ears don't seem to be workin', I gonna have to get my point across another way." Casey threatened as he raised his hockey stick and took a battle-ready stance, facing both Raph and Louie at the same time.

Meanwhile, back in the lair.

Despite today's narrowly avoided could-be-incident situation, the life in the lair kept going its normal way.

Dom was still watching the TV in the entertainment zone, switching the channels with the remote to find even something interesting to watch, while Leo and Mary were sparring with Splinter at the Dōjō. And Donnie was at the moment welding something new in his workbench next to his subway car laboratory with the safety goggles on.

However, as always, Donnie got no chance to work in peace and quiet.

After Mikey had completely recovered from his earlier shock, he was himself once again.

Mikey sometimes used to be around Donnie whenever he was working with something, often disturbing him by peeping over his shoulders or questioning what he was doing. Sometimes he has even attempted to touch Donnie's stuff to have a closer look and even test them when given the opportunity. He also has a habit of sometimes require Donnie to build something cool for common use of the family, though he most obviously wants it to be something he can entertain himself with only.

Although Donnie has one too many times slapped Mikey's hands off his belongings, asked him to leave him alone when he is working, forbade him to touch anything and even imposed a gate ban on his lab, Mikey was always within a few hours or the very next day prying behind his back and shoulders again. It was frustrating to the brainy turtle.

This time, Mikey had a piece of paper with him, into which he had drawn - at least by the way how a turtle can draw with the three-fingered hands - a drawing of a green van with six tires and a couple of satellite dish antenna on it. Probably once again something Mikey wanted him to build.

Donnie, however, mostly ignored his younger brother as he was trying to focus in his welding job

"See Don? We can have our very own Battle Shell. I've even got a name for it. I call it: "The Battle Shell"! I've got it all figured out. Turbo-boosters, double-action traction, cool secret weapons shooting out the back and all other cool thingies." Mikey listed. "We could build it out of the armored car we got from Purple Dragons at any time!"

Hearing those two words; "we" and "time" coming out of Mikey's mouth, Donnie reluctantly ceased his work to make a couple things clear to his brother, especially about some problematic details of the whole daydream project of his brother.

"By "We" I believe you mean "me". Two facts, okay? One: I don't have a time for that. There's too much to do around here. And two: even if I build it, where would we keep that thing?" Donnie asked as he took the paper off Mikey's hand. "Even though we have our very own workshop, your "Battle-Shell" would take too much space there and that armored car isn't fitful for the underground travels like the Sewer Slider. So, if there's not the appropriate storage space, neither will there be "Battle-Shell. So just forget the whole thing and leave me alone." Donnie dismissed and crumpled the paper into the ball before throwing it away.

Mikey, a bit shocked of what Donnie did to his drawn, went to fetch it up from the ground.

"Oh, c'mon! That doesn't mean we wouldn't find a perfect place eventually. Can you even reconsider this project? Can you, please?! Please?! Please?! Please, please, please?! Did I mention you're my favorite brother?" Mikey pleaded, trying to use his puppy-dog's eyes act to convince Donnie to build the vehicle.

Arcee, who had seen the whole scene from the column she was leaning against, scoffed at Mikey's puppy-dog eyes act.

"Did you just call Donnie as your "favorite brother" because you really meant it or only to convince him to build that thing so that you can satisfy your desire for the cool things?" Arcee questioned Mikey. "And you dare to even lower yourself to the level of that "puppy-dog eyes" act to make Donnie to do anything to get rid of you? It's beneath you."

"Hey! Keep it down there, guys! I'm trying to watch TV!" Dom yelled from the entertainment zone.

"SHH!" Master Splinter shushed sharply, drawing all four turtles' attentions from their doings at him in the middle of the Dōjō.

"Leonardo and Marietta are working to perfect their Ninjutsu skills. Perhaps something you four should consider." Splinter advised sternly, before he picked up two pieces wooden broads from the floor and held them high as he turned to his eldest son.

"Leonardo. Leaping split-kick!"

Leo did as he was told. He jumped and attempted to perform the split-kick on the boards. However, he couldn't break them as he'd hoped and Master Splinter's firm grip on the broads forced to back flip into the air, til he landed back to the ground again.

"Ah!" Leo groaned in disappointment, considering his attempt as a failure. Splinter put the broads away and walked to his son, putting his hand encouragingly on his shoulder.

"Try again my son. It will come with practice." Master Splinter assured, before he turned to Mary.

Mary was meanwhile waiting patiently for her own lesson in middle of three punching dummies. One of the dummies was standing in front of her, second one was standing in between the four and five a clock and the third one in between of nine and eight a clock. The dummies were placed a short distance from the turquoise turtle, leaving a small but sufficient space in the middle.

"Marietta." Splinter addressed.

Upon hearing her name, Mary immediately stood upright with her chin up and eyes fixed on her master, ready for her lesson.

"Remember, my daughter, that sometimes your enemy won't be in front of you. Sometimes not in behind you and sometimes not in next to you. They will be everywhere around you at the same time, hiding behind every corner waiting for the right moment to strike. One of them will take advantage of the others to get to you. Two of them may sometimes benefit from one of their own as a distraction to get past your guard. It matters to your enemy that are you either distracted or outnumbered." Splinter explained. "In order for you to beat them, you must think faster, move faster, use their confidence against them."

Mary nodded. "I'll do my best, Sensei."

"Good." Splinter nodded with the proud smile.

"Triple kick! One kick per each direction! Now!" Splinter ordered as he tossed his staff in the air and made it to spin horizontally like boomerang. The staff flew around Mary and knocked each dummy forcefully backwards as it flew past them before returning back to its master's out-stretched hand.

Mary took a battle-ready stance as the dummies had reached to their limits and were about to swing back towards her in the manner of Jack-in-the-box toys. While having only a few seconds of time, Mary took it to anticipate the dummies' movements and the exact times they'd be upon her, and to prepare herself to fend them off.

Counting slowly "Three... two..." in her mind as all three dummies swung one by one yet all at the same time towards her from all three directions, the turtle in turquoise made her move on "One!" and spun around as fast as a lightning to face her first opponent, that was coming from four and five a clock behind her. And as she spun around, she lifted her right leg up and kicked the dummy to the right side of its head, knocking the dummy with the force that knocked it with its stand over to the floor. Right after that, Mary put her right foot back to the ground and jumped up into the air with her left foot and spun around for the second time, turning to the next incoming dummy in between of nine and eight a clock and sent the second kick to the dummy's face with her left foot, knocking this dummy off and over to the ground as well. Mary then spun around in the air one more time to face the last dummy coming from the front and attempted to send the third kick to the dummy's face with her right foot.

Unfortunately, Mary had made a small but fatal calculation error with the timings of the last dummy and her own kick when she moved her leg a little too fast and ended up to miss the dummy's head with an inch, which left her defense open and vulnerable.

Following her failed counter attack, the swinging dummy's head caught the turtle in turquoise off guard by hitting her straight to the waist. Surprised Mary gasped from the slightly painful impact and fell on her stomach onto the dummy's head and shoulders. The dummy then swung backwards again before Mary had time to recover and get off its back before it threw the turtle in turquoise off its back and onto her shell-back to the ground. The landing was a pretty rough that it knocked the wind out of her lungs and left her lying still to the floor, panting frantically.

"Uh. Ouch." she groaned in pain and weakly lifted her hand over her sore stomach.

Slowly and carefully, Mary started to pick herself up from the floor and got up to her knees, rubbing with her hands the sore spots in her stomach/chest and her shoulder than took the slight hit to the ground.

Master Splinter then walked to her and offered her his hand to help her up, which Mary accepted and allowed the old rat master to help her up to her feet.

Once back on her feet, Mary let out the sigh of disappointment and lowered her head in shame. She definitely wasn't pleased with her results. Splinter then lifted his hand over his eldest daughter's shoulder to comfort her... and to say his own opinion of Mary's results.

"Do not rush with your attacks, my daughter. The haste might sometimes be both your ally or enemy, of which the latter would leave you vulnerable to the enemy. You need to relax your mind to coordinate your attacks properly. Then your enemies are left without any advantage against you." Master Splinter advised.

"Ugh! Sorry Sensei, but it just keeps happening, no matter how much I try to anticipate the dummies' movements and the right timing to perform the triple kick, one per each side, at the same time" Mary lamented.

"It's okay, my daughter. You'll master it eventually, by training hard enough and improving it all of time." Master Splinter said encouragingly.

While Splinter was training Leo and Mary, Mikey kept disturbing Donnie's peace with his "puppy-dog's eyes" act while holding his drawn in front of the brainiac turtle's face.

"Donatello... Donatello... if you build this, we will ride... IN TURTLE STYLE!" Mikey exclaimed.

Donnie seemed to get really frustrated with Mikey

Donnie seemed to be overly frustrated that Mikey bugging him with his constant demands to build his "Battle Shell", and he also grew tired of having to repeat to Mikey that same thing that he "had no time for it," which nothing but fell to Mikey's deaf ears.

However, the turtle in purple had the ace hidden in his sleeve as always.

"Here, motormouth, make yourself useful, will ya?" Donnie said as he picked up from their old lair salvaged "Sewer Sweet Sewer" sign and the hammer and the nail, which he held in front of Mikey's faces. "Can you hang this up someplace nice?"

"WHAT?! BUT... BUT...!" Mikey exclaimed in shock, and his "puppy-dog's eyes" face instantly fell into the look of disbelief and disappointment.

"Don't you even try to protest or whine about that, Michelangelo. And do not even try to escape this simple task via some cheap and too-many-times used old excuses again. And by excuses I mean the following ones such as "I hit in my finger with first swing", "I have some important thing I need to finish", "I got a pizza in oven", "I just remembered that it's a routine comic book time", "I was just going to check is there something good in TV" and lastly that "I'm tired. I'm going to sleep"." The turtle in purple listed. "So, HOP! HOP! HOP! Get to work." Donnie urged, nearly showing the sign and hammer into Mikey's arms.

"Aw, man!" Mikey lamented in disappointment as he reluctantly took the hammer, the nail and the sign from Donnie's hands.

As Mikey was about to leave to do his job, Donnie opened his mouth again. Though the turtle in purple didn't addressed Mikey this time but instead...

"Oh! And Arcee? Can you go with Mikey, to make sure that he does not try to sneak away from this simple job nor tries to make any excuses to get away from this again?" Donnie requested as he turned back to his workbench to resume what he was doing a moment ago.

"Yeah, whatever, Donnie." Arcee agreed.

"Now you're giving me even a BABYSITTER?!" Mikey demanded annoyed.

"What you can do about it, bro? when I'm busy, I don't have time to act as your babysitter. So I'll pass it to somebody I trust to keep an eye on you for me." Donnie replied, smirking mischievously at his baby brother without looking at him.

Mikey frowned at his brother, knowing full well that he was doing this to him on purpose.

"Alright, enough of chit-chat. That sign won't get hang on the wall on its own. So, HOP! HOP! HOP! Get to work." the turtle in purple urged again, waving his baby brother away from his workbench.

"Okay, okay." Mikey sighed and left to find a perfect place for the sign.

Meanwhile, back in the alley

Raph, Louie and Casey had began to circle one another.

Raph found himself in the inner conflict: Growing slowly but certainly impatient and annoyed of Casey's stubbornness, he was tempted to draw out his Sai and engage, but he fought back his temptation for the sake of diplomacy and Master Splinter's wisdom he wanted to desperately pass to Casey.

"Listen, buddy. We're just trying to tell you something here, but you're really working on my last nerve." the turtle in red said as the trio kept circling one another.

"Is that so?" Casey asked sarcastically, before he attacked, swinging his hockey-stick at the turtles repeatedly, but he missed as the turtles dodged them and scattered, circling him on both sides and moving behind his back, where they regrouping again.

Louie fought his own temptation to have his little payback for the bruise he got on his forehead, but Raph held his brother back as he tried to reason with Casey.

"Look, as a fellow vigilantes, we know you're only trying to do the right thing, but you're going about it all wrong!" Raph explained. "You gotta get control of yourself!"

"Yeah! The guys like you are giving to the much more reasonable vigilantes a very bad name. You'll ruin our reputation with your blind rampage!" Louie said firmly.

"Besides, whatever your problem is, beating them close to death is not right solution." Raph added.

Casey nothing more but only scowled the turtles coldly under his mask, then scoffed.

"Look, freak-boys, if you're protecting these Purple Dragon scum, then you're in my way! And you're going down, too!" Casey snapped at Raph and Louie - who were slightly offended by Casey's accusation of 'protecting' the Dragons - before the angry man attacked the turtles again. This time he attempted to hit them again with his hockey-stick from above, only to miss when the turtles jumped out of the stick's way again, Raph to the left and Louie to the right.

Raph swiftly moved behind of Casey's guard, but Louie remained there where he'd stepped out of Casey's stick's way. And after Casey's stick hit the ground, Louie noticed and grabbed to the hilt of his Butterfly sword that was still stuck in Casey's hockey stick's shaft.

"This one is mine, whacko!" the turtle in black snarled at Casey, before he pulled both his sword and Casey's stick with it hard upwards and with such of surprising strength and speed that Louie's Butterfly sword sliced the stick's head off its shaft.

This left Casey stunned but only briefly, as the destruction of his stick made him even more furious with the two.

However, before he could react, Raph made the next move.

"Hockey season's over, pal!" he growled, before the turtle in red jumped off the ground and hook-kicked with his left leg Casey's hockey stick's remains off his hands, snapping its shaft in two in the process.

However, Casey quickly recovered from this surprise as well and pulled out twin baseball bats out of his golf bag.

"Yeah! Well, now baseball's in season! Ready for the home run, you freaky freaking weirdos?!" Casey declared, spinning his bats wildly in his arms for a moment before taking a stance, ready for a new round. "Batter up!"

"FINE!" Raph bellowed, as he gave in to his temptation and draw his Sais out, twirling them. "THE GAME'S ON!"

"OH YEAH! BASEBALL IN VIGILANTE STYLE!" Louie cried in joy as he draw out his another Butterfly sword.

The turtles and Casey circled one another for a moment.

"I hope that you do not mind of two-on-one situation... neither about the skills you're critically lacking." Louie said in mocking sorry.

"Don't care if have to face ten freaks at the same time!" Casey snapped before charged at the turtles

Louie and Raph charged at Casey as well.

Casey began to whack the turtles with the bats.

"Strike one!" he declared as he swung his right hand's bat towards Raph, missing him as Raph jumped and flipped over both Casey's bat's swing and the vigilante himself, landing behind of Casey.

"Ha! You missed!" Louie taunted with the scoffing laugh as he approached Casey.

Hearing Louie's taunt, Casey turned his attention into Louie instead of Raph.

"Then strike two!" Casey declared again as he swung his left hand's bat over his head and attempted to hit Louie next from above. However, Louie swiftly stepped back/to his right and leaned backwards, making Casey to miss his head by the inch.

"Missed again!" Louie mocked with the grin.

"Oh YEAH?! WELL, TRY TO DODGE THIS ONE THEN! STRIKE THREE!" Casey snapped as he raised his bats up and swung them both horizontally towards Louie.

However, Casey missed him him again when Louie leaped forward to the ground, landed onto his shell and somersaulted under of the bats' double swing before he got back to his feet behind of Casey's getting up, Louie sent a kick to the back of Casey's left leg, making the hockey-mask vigilante to fall onto his knee with the grunt of pain.

"Third miss, pal! One more left!" Louie teasingly announced with one finger up.

"ARGHH!" Casey roared furiously as he turned back to Louie with his bats raised above his head before he tried to bring them down onto Louie.

However, Louie was prepared for this. The turtle in black crossed his arms before he swung them and his Butterfly swords in the arch upwards at the same time, both blocking Casey's bats - leaving visible notches on both bats from his short swords sharp blades - and knocking them back with the brute strength, opening Casey's guard and exposing his vulnerable spots, thus allowing the turtle in black to deliver the kick to Casey's chest that knocked him slightly back.

"Catch! The ball back to the base! And...!" Louie bellowed before he crouched down, revealing Raph from behind his shell-back as the red turtle was coming at full speed.

"...you're out!" Raph finished as he jumped over Louie and towards Casey and sent the powerful hook-kick right to the crazy mask-vigilante's chest - with his right foot this time - which sent Casey flying against the wall.

"Ah!" Casey moaned as he fell onto his butt to the ground, stunned from Raph's kick.

"You have to do better than that, pal, otherwise you're no match for the ninjas in the vigilantes' baseball game." Louie mocked as he stood up.

Casey angrily scoffed at Louie's taunt, before he pulled himself together enough to pick both his dropped baseball bats and himself up from the ground. And letting out the enraged and loud howl into the air, the vigilante charged at the turtles again in blind rage.

Caring nothing of the turtles' Ninjutsu skills and the two-on-one situation, Casey raised his bats over his head before he pulled them hard down on both turtles, whom blocked his attacks with their weapons.

The turtles and Casey then began to exchange the blows with each others. Casey, breathing heavily and repeatedly in blind fury and fierce determination, swung his bats both from above and alternately or simultaneously from both sides at the turtles in attempt to lay a devastating strike on them, which the turtles either dodged, blocked with their weapons and wrists or turned them aside to lay some punches and kicks on Casey, but the hokey-mask-guy was like he didn't even care of them and kept pressing forward. His strikes also started to become even harder and harder, nearly to the point that they could break the bones and ribs - though luckily the turtles' shells were capable to withstand his blows with his bats.

Louie blocked one of Casey's attempted strikes with his left hand's wrist before he turned around and snap-kicked the baseball bat off Casey's right hand. Casey however, in retaliation, cupped a handful of garbage from nearby open can and threw them at Louie's face, taking the turtle in black by surprise and forcing him to back away from the fight to get all that waste off his face and eyes, leaving Raph to battle with Casey.

Raph attempted to stab Casey with his left hand's Sai, which Casey blocked with his right hand's bat and, moved his bat over Raph's left wrist and pulled it hard down, forcing Raph to crouch down and out of the blow's way, before Casey attempted to whack his head with free hand's baseball bat. Raph however moved his right hand up and caught Casey's baseball bat into his Sai's guard and attempted to force Casey to release his grip from his weapon by twisting his wrist with his Sai. However, Casey saw this coming and delivered the kick with his knee to Raph's face. The impact caused Raph to stand back up and wobble backwards, slightly dazed from Casey's counter attack, before Casey then kicked him hard into the guts and sent the turtle in red onto his shell-back to the ground.

Casey walked over the turtle in red and raised his bats with intention to bring them down on him, but was prevented from doing so by Louie, who - after he had wiped the waste Casey had thrown at him off his face - tackled him from behind and knocked him over to the ground. Both the turtle in black and Casey then began wrestle with each other in the ground, until Louie got him pinned down, before he pointed one of his Butterfly sword at Casey's throat threateningly.

"That was the dirty trick from you, pal! Where's your honor?!" Louie snapped.

Casey then unexpectedly lifted his right leg up and kneed Louie to between of his legs really really hard!

"OHHHH!" Louie gasped as the sudden wave of pain that ran through of hi, causing him to drop his Butterfly sword and hold with both hands from his groins. This however, allowed Casey enough time to crawl away from Louie to have enough of space to lift up his leg and kick Louie in the face again, knocking both Louie's head backwards.

"Ow! My poor nose!" Louie moaned while holding from his sore faces with his hands.

Casey used this distraction as a perfect opportunity to get back up to his feet. He then reclaimed his bats and charged at the turtle in black. Louie, who had received the black eye as a result of Casey's kick, wiped the spit and a little blood off his lips before he turned back to Casey, only to receive again a direct blow to the face (to the forehead above of his left eye) from Casey's baseball bat's blunt end, knocking him back. Casey then raised both his bats over his head and then brought them hard down on Louie. Louie, however, recovered enough to see Casey's incoming strike and reacted quickly by turning around that his shell-back was turned to Casey. The bats landed hard onto Louie's shell but didn't cause much or any damage at all. Louie was then about to stand up and turn around to meet Casey in the hand-to-hand combat, but Casey kicked Louie to the chest, knocking him off his feet and onto his shell-back to the ground again.

"Aww, doesn't little freak get back to his feet?" Casey mocked as he walked over Louie, before he raised them over his head again. "No matter! Easy meal for me anyway!" he added before he brought his bats down.

Seeing this, Louie quickly flipped backwards, landing upside down onto his hands before he jumped off the ground just in time when Casey's bats hit to the ground. Louie's push with his hands was strong enough to send him high in the air 'till he flipped over Casey's head and landed on his feet to Casey's shoulders. Casey was a bit surprised by this sudden stunt move, but he quickly cast it off his mind and spun around - at the same time as Louie jumped off Casey's shoulders, spun around and attempted to give Casey a straight kick either to his chest of face little he cared - and swung his bats at the turtle in black again. The bats found their mark and struck Louie hard to his right side, knocking him over to his left side, next to recently recovered Raph.

"You okay, bro?" Raph asked as he went to his brother's side and offered his hand for him to help him up.

"I'm (Ow!) okay, bro. A little stinging (Ohh!) in the forehead, left eye, left cheek, stomach (Argh!) and right side, but otherwise I'm okay. (Ouch!)" Louie said between the painful winces from several sore spots in his body, before he accepted his brother's hand and allowed Raph to pull him off the ground.

Once back on his feet, a little bruised Louie turned to Casey. The guy in the hockey-mask was already in his fighting posture and ready to resume their fight.

"For him being a non-ninja vigilante, this guy knows how to fight. And he sure hits hard." Louie admitted before he spit a little more spit and blood out of his mouth to the ground.

"Agree, but he hasn't seen nothing yet." Raph scoffed, turning to Casey as well.

The turtles then took again their fighting stances, ready for the round two... or more likely round three or four, but who's counting(3). The adversaries glared at each others for a moment, before the turtles charged at Casey again to resume their fight.

Meanwhile, back in the lair

"You really should quit bothering Donnie by demanding him to build something to satisfy your own lust for something 'cool.'" Arcee said, as the turtle in pink observed from next to the column as Mikey was searching for the perfect spot for the sign.

"I was just trying to satisfy boredom. That's all." Mikey countered.

"Yeah, sure. Just for you to know, that so-called 'Battle Shell' of yours is not a skateboard and it doesn't fit for the skating in the sewers. In fact, it doesn't 'literally' even fit into the sewer tunnels because of size comparison between of skateboard and our armored car." Arcee teased with the chuckle, much to Mikey's annoyance.

"ARGH! Are you trying deliberately to benefit from my misery, Arcee?!" Mikey demanded to know.

Arcee attempted to hold back her chuckle after Mikey's outburst. "No! No, no, no no, no! Not at all." she responded, shaking both her head and hands in front of her with an innocent smile on her lips.

Mikey turned around to look at Arcee with a dark and dead-serious glare (which was very, very rarely seen on Mikey's face) for a moment, not believing her at all and demanding his sister to answer honestly to his question.

Mikey's rarely seen dead serious glare on his eyes eventually forced Arcee to give up on the act and she let out the loud chuckle out.

"Okay, okay, okay. I'm trying to benefit from it... a lot." Arcee confessed, giggling hilariously with difficulty to hold it back while holding up her hands to calm Mikey down.

After a good amount of laughter, Arcee managed to pull herself together to address Mikey a little more seriously.

"But seriously, Mikey... you keep claiming that you were just trying to satisfy your boredom by convincing Donnie to build the Battle Shell. But have you ever thought about that even if Donnie would agree to build it eventually, would Donnie actually let you ride it?" Arcee asked half seriously and half teasingly.

Mikey snorted in annoyance, as he finally stopped in front of one spot on the wall, right next to the doorway of Splinter's room.

"If you have a better things to do than mocking me, then go away and leave me alone with my misery. And with this hammer, this nail, this sign, this stupid task and this wall. At least this wall still appreciates me instead of mocking me." Mikey murmured.

Mikey then turned back to his doing and lifted the sign up from its twine to a suitable height in the wall before he placed the nail beneath of it. Mikey then kept the nail still with his thump and forefinger as he hit it with the hammer.

Thack!

However, much to his surprise, the nail didn't sink in the wall.

"Huh?" Mikey said in confusion, before he hit the nail with hammer again and bit harder this time.

Thack!

However, the nail didn't budge.

"Whatta...?" Mikey murmured before he attempted for the third time and even harder this time.

Thack!

But still, the nail didn't budge.

Seeing this happening, a wide smirk formed in Arcee's lips as she remembered what Mikey had said just a moment ago.

"What was it you just said, bro? Oh, yeah! "At least this wall still appreciates me instead of mocking me."" Arcee teased, mimicking Mikey's voice. "Yeah, sure."

Growling in frustration, Mikey started to hammer the nail with the hammer even harder and repeatedly.

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

Arcee couldn't help but chuckle at the sight in front of her eyes.

"It seems to be the complete opposite of what you claimed, lil bro, because even the wall doesn't seem to have respect for you." Arcee chuckled.

"SHUT UP!" Mikey demanded as he kept banging the nail with the hammer.

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

"OH, C'MON! WHAT IS THIS STUPID WALL MADE OFF!" Mikey exclaimed in annoyance as he kept hammering the nail.

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

THACK!

No matter how many times and how hard Mikey hit the nail with the hammer, the nail still didn't move. And to add the insult to injury, Mikey noticed much to his disbelief and frustration that the nail had bent because he had hit it with too much force.

"You gotta be kidding me!" Mikey exclaimed, realizing that this was now useless with the bent nail.

Arcee, after noticing this as well, couldn't help herself.

"Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haa!" the turtle in pink laughed nearly uncontrollably. "Sorry, Mikey, but this is just too hilarious! I can't believe that you just lost to the wall if you can't get one sign nailed into it! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha haa!"

"We'll see about that. I'll be right back." Mikey said, taking his sister's words as a challenge, before he turned around and left the scene with the firm determination.

After getting her laughter finally under control, Arcee followed her little brother's going as the turtle in orange went to fetch something to accomplish his task. It didn't took long from him to come back, but this time he was carrying with him the sledge-hammer and a giant nail.

"Alright, tough-guy. Ah he he he hee! Let's dance!" Mikey smirked with full confidence as he mimicking Bogart.

Mikey then lifted with his left hand the giant nail and the sign to the very same spot on the wall before he raised the sledge-hammer over his head with his right hand. "HAI YAA!" Mikey let out as he slammed the hammer right into the nail with full force... and this time, the nail sunk deep into the wall.

Mikey stepped a one or two steps back to look at his success with the prideful smile, before he turned to Arcee.

"See, Arcee? You mess with me I mess you back! And Michelangelo is always the one who wins!" Mikey said in counter to Arcee's earlier teasing words.

Arcee was about to say something back until the turtle in pink heard something that sounded like a crack. She looked at where it came from and became instantly worried.

"Uh... Mikey?" Arcee called as she looked at the wall worriedly.

Following his sister's gaze, Mikey looked at the giant nail that was holding the sign up and instantly noticed what had got Arcee so worried. The wall around of the nail had started to ominously crack. And to make it even worse, the cracks began to spread widely along the wall.

The entire wall around the nail was apparently about to fall apart.

"Uh, oh." Mikey gulped as he backed away from the wall.

"Get away from there, Mikey!" Arcee warned, fearing that his brother might get crushed under the soon-collapsing wall if he stays near it.

The ominous cracks eventually reached the point when the large portion of the wall gave in and started to fall completely apart.

"MIKEY, OUT OF THE WAY!" Arcee screamed as the turtle in pink hurriedly grabbed Mikey by his arm and pulled him away from the collapsing wall.

The collapsing wall created the clouds of dust into the air, forcing Mikey and Arcee to cover their faces and eyes from dust and debris.

And once the wall had completely collapsed to the floor and the dust cloud was starting to clear off, Mijey and Arcee removed their hands from the front of their faces to look at the mess what Mikey had inadvertently caused.

However, though they expected to see a large portion of the wall gone, with nothing left but a few piles of the cracked bricks, both turtles' eyes grew wide in astonishment at the sight of what was revealed from behind the wall.

"Uh, guys? Come to look what we found?" Mikey called for his brothers and Sensei.

"And Donnie? Before you say anything, this ain't one of Mikey's excuses this time! We really did find something." Arcee called for her brainy turtle, losing all her recent mischievousness totally at the sight of their discovery.

While waiting for the others, Mikey and Arcee observed their discovery, which was revealed to be an another doorway with the same hexagonal shape like all the other doorways in the lair. However, unlike the Lair's other doorways that were usually open, this one had a similarly shaped door made of dark blue/turquoise stone and it had some sort of strange symbols.

The rest of the turtles and Splinter soon joined them to observe it.

"Wow! What is that?" Mary asked in awe.

"It's a door of some kind." Donnie responded.

"A door? A door to where?" Dom asked.

"I think that there's only one way to find out." Donnie said as he moved closer to the door.

"Be careful, Donnie." Leo cautioned in whisper.

"Um... Question. Why are we whispering?" Mikey asked, earning an stern glare from each turtle around.

"Because this is completely a new and strange thing to us... and we do not even know what to expect. So we're following the cautiousness, you shell-for-brains!" Dom said as he lightly whacked Mikey to the top of the head.

"Ow! Okay! Okay! I got the message! No need for that, bro!" Mikey exclaimed quietly.

Donnie then turned back to the door and gently but carefully landed his palm against it to see what will happen.

From his touch or something, the door then split in two - causing Donnie to jump back out of instincts - and opened up, revealing a small chamber from inside.

However, as soon as the doors opened, a gust of an extremely musty and foul-smelling air flew out and into the turtles' and Splinter's faces.

"UGH! WHAT DIED IN THERE?!" Arcee exclaimed in disgust as she held her hand over her nostril holes in attempt to prevent the stinking smell from entering.

"WHEW! That's some stench!" Donnie commented as he shooed the smelling air away from his face.

"Don't look at me, my brother. Remember: you smell it, you dealt it." Mikey joked, humorously reminding Donnie about one of the old saying relating to the word "smell".

"And speaking of dealing with odor nuisance, this chamber thing is seriously in need of ventilation. No one certainly remembered to do any spring cleaning in it before it was sealed off from the rest of the Lair." Dom stated, waving his hand in front of his face in attempt to keep the stench away.

"Well, what do we do? Do we go in?" Mary asked.

Slowly and carefully, the turtles and Splinter entered the chamber, which was both round and high and resembled in shape the inside of an egg. Its walls had three round and jade green-colored rings, one on the floor level, the second and the largest of the three was in the center of the wall, and the third on the ceiling. All three were also full of similar strange and ancient symbols like in the door.

Suddenly, right after entering, the room was enlightened when the strange blue light started to glow through of the rings' 'symbols' grooves. However, most of the chamber's light came from the ceiling, which prompted the turtles and Splinter to look up. The mutants were further awe-struck when they saw a large glowing purplish-white crystal in the ceiling of the chamber. And in addition of that, they noticed that there was two lines of the bluish-white narrow egg-shaped crystals that were embedded into the chamber's walls in the gaps between of the jade-green rings.

Mikey immediately took a notice for them.

"Oh, yeah! I forgot to tell you earlier. I found a bunch of these crystals while I was cleaning up the lair. Well... at least all what was left of them, because they were all broken into shards though." Mikey explained to the others.

"You're not the only one, bro. I did too find some crystals from my room." Arcee said. "Most of them, however, were reduced into a broken shards, save for the three pieces that were hidden in the secret locker."(4)

Mary was meanwhile observing one of the jade-green rings' symbols with curiosity. "Interesting discovery indeed, guys. But what's the deal with the chamber that has been sealed behind the wall in the first place?"

"You're telling me, sis. And the biggest question of all: Where is this light coming from? Or where's the power course of this room anyway? I don't see any wires or..." Donnie was saying, until the chamber's doors suddenly closed and sealed all of them inside.

This left the turtles surprised and unaware of what to do now.

"Oh, Shell! That's nice! The good old turtle-luck kicked us again. Being sealed inside of the strange chamber for the rest of our lives like the dead bodies of the pharaohs into the pyramids." Dom complained, though the last sentences came out with clear sarcasm.

"Hopefully none of you doesn't suffer from claustrophobia, because panicking is the last thing we need a right now." Arcee said, hoping that none of her family has no that certain phobia and starts panicking.

Before anyone could reply, the chamber suddenly shook slightly and momentarily, before it was followed by the slowly but certainly intensifying deep humming sound.

And then, the chamber 'literally' lifted itself off the ground and began to rise upwards like the elevator.

"Hey! Are we moving?" Leo questioned as they all looked up by instincts.

"Well, what do you think, bro?" Dom asked sarcastically.

The chamber started to rise upwards with even faster speed. Faster than what the regular elevator does, which the turtles and Splinter felt in their stomachs.

"Oh!" Arcee moaned, holding with her hand from both her stomach while leaning with her other against the wall. "Is this how the first timers feel when they enter the elevator for the first time?"

"I guess so, sis." Mary responded, leaning against the opposite wall with her right shoulder.

"Well I'd love to know that what this chamber is and where its taking us." Dom asked.

"We'll find that out when we reach to our destination, whatever it is." Donnie said.

Meanwhile, back in the alley.

Letting out a roar of rage, Casey charged at Louie - whom he had recently knocked down to the ground again - before the turtle in black had recovered from the recent series of blows enough to be able to get back on his feet and defend himself. However, Raph quickly jumped between his downed brother and Casey and blocked his next attack with the bat that was meant for Louie by capturing it into his Sais' guard.

"Look, you gotta listen to me. You're angry." he said as he attempted to reason with Casey yet again while struggling to hold him back. "I can understand that, believe me, but what if you grab the wrong guy? An innocent one who hasn't done anything wrong? What if you go too far by actually killing someone?! You do that and one beautiful day you'll get yourself in real trouble?"

Raph's words fell to the deaf ears again when Casey instead whacked him with his bat, sending him flying against the wall.

Raph recovered from the strike just in time to see Casey standing right in front of him.

"I got my reasons for doing what I do, and they got nothing to do with you!" Casey shouted and brought his bats down on Raph. Raph blocked them with his Sais. but now his patience with Casey had reached to its end.

"Fine! That's it! You know, I was trying to help you but now my patience has ran out! If it is the fight you want..." Raph snarled, dropping all diplomacy and reasoning, before he jumped and kicked Casey really hard to the guts, sending him flying onto his stomach to the ground in the other side of the alley. "...THEN LET'S FIGHT, DAMMIT!"

Raph charged at Casey, but Casey quickly picked one of his bats and whacked Raph with it, sending him flying into the mound of garbage.

As the Raph got up from among the garbage, he was seeing red now!

Raphael eyes narrowed into a fierce glare as the anger boiled inside of him. The turtle in red had finally had enough of being beaten up by the stubborn psycho in the hockey mask that he was filled with almost uncontrollable vengeful rage like earlier today during of his and Mikey's practice.

Growling like the feral animal, Raph got up to his feet, without taking his from anger blazing eyes off Casey.

"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!" Raph roared furiously and, without caring what damage he might cause by this, blindly hurled his Sais at Casey, one of which knocked the remaining bat out of the vigilante's hands and another scratched his hockey mask from the spot of the left temple. Right after tossing his Sais at Casey, Raph charged at him in blind rage.

Casey attempted to bring a golf club out from his golf bag and prepare himself for Raph's attack, but Raph got to him first.

Raph brutally punched Casey in the stomach with his right fist. The blow came so hard that is caused Casey to gasp from pain and bent over. Showing no mercy, Raph then kneed Casey in the face with his left knee, knocking his head back. Then Raph jumped up, spun around in the air and kicked with his left foot Casey in the chest, knocking him back.

Casey, however, managed to maintain his balance, but he was left with no time to recover enough to counter Raph's brutal attacks when the turtle in red was upon him again.

"GRRAAAAAAGGGHHH!" Raph roared from the top of his lungs as he leaped towards Casey and kicked him in the chest again with the every bit of the strength he got, nearly forcing all the air out of him as the turtle in red's kick sent the vigilante flying a quite roughly against the wall, knocking him out.

Once Casey was knocked out, Raph walked out from the shadows in front of him. He breathed heavily from his furious onslaught yet growled in anger and held one of his Sais in his right hand as he stood over the downed vigilante, as if planning to run his weapon's blade through of Casey's neck. However, a small voice inside of him managed to push its way through of the walls of anger and directed Raph to reach his hand forward and rip Casey's mask off his faces. When the mask was removed, Casey woke up and looked up at the turtle in front of him.

The vigilante had a handsome face and bright blue eyes. However, his faces were emotionless and hardened like the stone, and there was a burning blaze of anger in his eyes as he coldly glared up at Raph. One look into those anger-filled eyes got Raph come back to his senses when he realized that he was like looking at himself in the mirror!

The turtle in red gasped in shock at this realization and dropped his Sai from his trembling hand, breathing frantically in and out.

"Wha... Wha... What am I doing? "We're... We're on the same side!" Raph said to himself in shock.

Raph then turned back to Casey.

"Listen, pal! We gotta stop this madness! We shouldn't be even fighting each other." Raph said to Casey, as he bent down and grabbed from his arm so that he can help him back to his feet, though he failed to notice that Casey secretly grabbed to his golf club.

"We both just need to get a hold of ourselves, take it easy, chill. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?" Raph asked as he gave Casey his mask back.

Casey looked like he was going to calm down and finally understanding what Raph has been trying to tell him.

"You know... maybe you're right. You've shown me the error of my ways." Casey said with a gentle voice, making Raph close to smile in relief.

However...

"Actually... YOU HAVE NOT!" Casey suddenly shouted, catching Raph by surprise.

And before Raph could react in any way...

"FORE!" Casey let out as he whacked Raph in the face with the golf club, knocking the turtle in red right into Louie. Louie was just getting back to his feet after recovering enough, taking support from the wall, until Raph flew into him and knocked him over again. Both the turtles in red and black then fell into the pile of garbage cans and sacks.

Casey let out the mocking laugh at the garbage-covered Raph and Louie.

"AH HA HA HA HA HAA! I can't believe you actually fell for that!" he laughed hilariously before he ran off deeper into the alley, disappearing into the shadows.

Getting back up, Raph growled in frustration as he rubbed the sore spot in his face. He was starting to lose his cool again after getting caught off-guard by such of sneaky surprise attack. However, he managed to maintain his composure, not wanting to go into berserk for the third time in the same night.

Raph then quickly jumped back on his feet and turned to help Louie get back up.

"Up on your feet, bro! That maniac is getting away! We gotta catch him and talk some sense into him" Raph said hurriedly.

""Talk" you say?" Louie scoffed in disbelief. "That whacko owes me a big time for all of these bruises, scratches and cuts! And not the mention about my black eye!" the turtle in black snarled, pointing with his finger at his blackened left eye.

"That's why I'm definitely not gonna "talk some sense into him", Raph. I'm going to BANG into his thick skull so much knowledge about what a severe headache really means once I get my hands on him!" Louie swore angrily

"That guy might be harder to calm down and reason with, no argument there bro, but we just gotta try." Raph said soothingly.

Once Louie was back on his feet, Raph turned around towards the way where Casey had gone.

"C'mon! He couldn't have got far!" Raph urged before running off, giving chase to Casey again.

"He better hope that he has." Louie muttered as he rushed after Raph.

Meanwhile, back with the others

After a some time, the chamber with the turtles and Splinter inside started to slow down the pace, until it eventually stopped in place like to the wall. Then another secret hexagonal door in the chamber's wall opened like the drawbridge, allowing the turtles and Splinter to exit from the chamber.

Cautious about the nature of the strange destination where the chamber had brought them, the turtles and splinter stepped out of the chamber to investigate the place.

This spacious and dark place around the chamber - which from the outside really looked like jade-green giant egg - seemed to be a room or hall in some decommissioned and demolished building. All the windows of the place were sealed with the wooden broads. It was also a quite dirty and messy place, as there were numerous piles of rubbish as well as scrapped vehicles and engines everywhere.

"What is this place?" Arcee asked.

"More likely... where the shell are we?" Mikey asked.

The group headed to the place's doors, that looked from the close look the garage doors, which Donnie then lifted up to see what was outside of this place.

The turtles and Splinter were surprised to find themselves from the corner of 'Eastman and Laird.'

"So. That weird glowing chamber, that turned out to be some kind of ancient elevator, brings us to the street level on the spot of the abandoned warehouse at the corner of Eastman and Laird." Donnie concluded.

Splinter then turned around and observed the warehouse a little bit while walking back to the chamber. "This warehouse has been abandoned for many, many years. And apparently it's left untouched by the humans."

"Really? Then I think that we hit the jackpot! Look at this great space!" Mikey said eagerly. "But I think that it is missing something."

"Like what?" Dom questioned.

Mikey then started to think a various things what he believed or guessed the place was missing.

"Hmm... a Bathtub?"

"May I remind you that we already have a pool in our lair, that fits perfectly as a bathtub. Well, sort of?" Dom reminded him.

"Oh? Well, okay." Mikey said before he resumed thinking. "A kitchenette?"

"We already have one in our kitchen, remember, goofball?" Mary reminded.

Mikey started to think a bit harder, until he finally realized what was the missing thing.

"I GOT IT NOW! A supped up Battle-Shell will be perfect right here!" Mikey declared as he pointed one corner of the warehouse with his finger, until he suddenly changed his mind about the first corner.

"Nonononono! That would be perfect spot for the souped-up Battle-Shell!" the turtle in orange declared as he pointed next at the spot next to the chamber, until he once again changed his mind.

"Nononono! Here! Right here! It'll perfect right here!" Mikey declared again.

Dom rolled his eyes and Mary facepalmed herself in annoyance as their little brother kept picking up the various spots for his "Battle Shell" thing. However, Leo, Donnie and Arcee then exchanged the looks with each others.

"I think he's trying to tell you something, Donnie." Leo told to Donnie.

"Funny. I got a same feeling too." Donnie said.

"What do you mean, Donnie? Does this mean that you're gonna reconsider Mikey's request for his "Battle Shell" thingy after all?" Arcee asked.

"Well, actually... I was just thinking that because this place has been untouched by the humans for so long and will most likely remain as such, I think this place offers us a lot of potential benefits. For example, this place could operate as a secret parking lot for the armored car we got from our first adventure on the surface. At least for now, until I decide what to do with it. But right now, I need to get back to my lab and make some plannings first before taking an action." Donnie explained as he closed the garage doors.

Meanwhile, back with Raph and Louie

Raph and Louie searched for Casey from the various dark and trash-filled alleys. This time their search took longer than what it did earlier after running into this masked whacko.

However, despite their efforts, they couldn't find Casey anywhere... not even from the next dark alley they had just entered.

The turtles walked silently and cautiously further into the alley, until they ended up to the fence that along with the garbage cans and the mounds of the black garbage sacks blocked their way, preventing them from going further.

And there was still not any sight of Casey.

In fact, it was too dark to see anything.

"Oh, shell! We lost him, Raph!" Louie snapped, sounding disappointed and nearly but reluctantly willing to give up the whole thing.

However, Raph wasn't ready to give up... not at least yet.

"No! He must be here! I know that big dope is around here somewhere! Keep your eyes open for him." Raph said.

Louie then started to get a funny feeling.

"Speaking of eyes, I kinda got a funny feeling that somebody is watching us." he said, voicing his worry to Raph.

Suddenly, the turtles heard the engine starting to rev up amongst of the garbage cans and sacks. The turtles instantly turned to the direction of the sound, until they were both blinded by the sudden bright light.

"Agh!" Raph groaned as he covered his eyes from the light with his arms.

"Hey!" Louie yelped, covering his eyes from the light as well.

"GOOD GUESS, FREAK!" Casey's voice bellowed from behind of the bright light.

Then, under the cover of the light that prevented the turtles from seeing anything, the vigilante drove out of the shadows on the back of his blue motorcycle and accelerated his pace as he headed towards both the turtles and the exit at high speed.

As he was driving past Raph, he seemed to be about to hit the turtle in red with his golf club he held high in the air, until he suddenly lowered it to the ground level instead and tripped Raph up as he drove past him.

"Whoa! Agh! Raph groaned as he landed onto his shell to the ground.

And as Casey was about to drive past Louie, who was still blinded by the vigilante's bike's head light, Casey lifted up his right leg and kicked the turtle in black hard into his guts.

"OHH! Ahhh!" Louie gasped/yelled as he flew into the set of some trash cans again, knocking them over.

Before Casey made his exit, he stopped his bike and turned around to look at the turtles lying on the ground in defeat.

"I GOT MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM, FREAK BOYS! AND IF YOU TWO WANT A REMATCH, THEN CHECK ME OUT FRIDAY NIGHT, AT THE CENTRAL PARK! ADIOS, LOSERS!" Casey shouted before he made his exit.

Fighting through the pain and shock, Raph and Louie hurriedly got back up to give chase, but Casey was already on his way out of the alley, making it pointless for the turtles to chase him on foot.

"HEY! COME BACK HERE YOU...!" Raph tried, but Casey had already disappeared from the sight. "Ah nuts."

"Dammit!" Louie cursed and kicked one of the trash cans over in frustration. "Not only did that whacko beat us, but now he wants the rematch so that he can kick our shells again. The worst part here is that we can't bring ourselves to cause some severe damage to him! Though I'm SO, SO, SO tempted to do so! I really do!"

As Louie vent his frustration over his and Raph's defeat to Casey in the street fight, cursing and swearing vengeance to the vigilante he had admired earlier today, Raph merely sighed and lowered his head in depression and defeat. He was in a really miserable mood after everything that had happened today, from going into berserk twice, nearly hurting Mikey and both losing to and failing to help Casey in his apparent anger issues.

"That thick-skulled whacko! That hockey-masked madman! That raging ape! That..." Louie snarled as he kept cursing Casey with various names.

"Knock it off, Louie! It's no use anymore! He got away! It's over!" Raph snapped, not really in the mood to hear Louie's raging. "So would you do a favor to yourself and get the hold of yourself, please?!"

After hearing his brother, a small voice in Louie's mind told him that Raph was right. The crazy rampaging vigilante got away and there was nothing they could do except - albeit reluctantly - accept the bitter taste of defeat. With this in mind, Louie took his brother's words into account and started to breath slowly in and out to get the hold of himself.

After calming down, Louie then turned to look at Raph. "So... what do we do now?" the turtle in black asked.

"I think... I think that we should get back to the Lair." Raph said softly. "I think that the guys and Sensei needs to know about this."

Louie nodded in agreement.

The turtles then set out to search for a manhole to get back into the sewers and return home. They found one pretty quickly, and when the cover was removed, Raph climbed down the ladders first and Louie followed right behind. The turtle in black stayed behind to put the cover back to its proper place.

However, before Louie got the cover back in its place, he suddenly spotted three dark figures entering into the alley.

It was the same trio of Purple Dragons that got seriously beaten up by Casey tonight.

"Are they still here?" Louie wondered, recalling having seen the same three punks fleeing the scene before the fight with a hockey-masked guy ... and yet they were still here!

The curiosity got best of the turtle in black, so he lowered the backside of the cover against the edge of the manhole before lowering the cover down slightly, leaving a sufficiently wide gap between the cover and the edge of the manhole, so that he could see what the Dragons were doing here.

The Dragons walked down the alley while looked vigilantly around and over their shoulders as if to make sure they were not followed and that they were absolutely alone so they could do whatever they came here to do.

Even though there was nobody in the alley, the Dragons moved as quietly as they could, though they weren't doing a very good job in it, as the Cap-headed thug accidentally kicked the empty can away with his foot and the Blue-face accidentally knocked over the trash can, creating a noise, much to the chagrin of the Spiky-head thug.

"Quiet, you clumsy idiots! That crazy whacko might be gone now but those... weird green lizards might still be around here. We don't want them upon us now!" the Spiky-head chided through of his gritted teeth.

Hearing that, Louie's eyes widened. "Were those boneheads following us? Have they observed us this whole time?" he asked from himself as he kept spying on them.

After making sure they were alone, the Dragons turned to the next alley and hid around the corner, where the Spiky-head thug pulled out a cell phone and dialed the number.

"Yo Dragon Face." he whispered. "It's that guy. The one with the hockey mask. He was fighting with some weirdos in a bug costumes. We followed them. He got away, but I know where he'll be on Friday night."

"Good. I want that hockey mask wearing vigilante's head on a plate." an ominous-sounding voice on the other end snarled. "Put everybody on alert. And I mean 'Everybody'! This guy's been screwing with our business for months. It's time we started screwing with him."

To Louie, it was now obvious that Casey's challenge to a rematch on Friday night in Central Park won't be a rematch anymore but a death trap, set by the vengeful Dragons in hope to get rid of this thorn(Casey) on their side for good. It was going to be a bloodbath!

The Spiky-head thug then hung up and all three disappeared into the shadows of the alley.

When they were gone, Louie sighed in annoyance, because if he and Raph went to Central Park on Friday night to face that madman (which they would certainly do, knowing Raph), they would certainly get caught into the same trap meant for Casey. Worse was that they most obviously had to save that stubborn man's skin from the Dragons. And right now, after all of that beating up and all those insults Casey spat at them, Louie definitely wasn't in the mood for that.

"Great. Just great. Just when I thought that this couldn't get any worse." Louie muttered to himself as he finally put the cover back to its place and climbed down the ladders to join Raph on their way home.

To be continue.

TRIVIA

- This is the second longest chapter of my story.

- This chapter reveals that Louie is an extremely sore loser.

(1) - You probably know what was that all about. I'm trying to add a little more darker themes to my story beside the on-screen killing and showing the blood and bodies. That includes/included a (sexual) assault against that woman.

(2) - Louie's comment was inspired by Jafar's song "You're Only Second Rate" song from Aladdin: Return of Jafar.

(3) - That quote "More likely round three or four, but who's counting" is taken from the leopard Makucha from the Lion Guard episode "Wisdom of Kongwe.

(4) - Those three crystals Arcee claimed having found intact from the secret locker in her room as a bigger role in the future.
