=Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003=
=Meet Casey Jones Part 4=
It didn't take long from the turtles to arrive to the Central Park.
"And ladies and gentleturtles, on your left is Central Park, 843 acres of landscaped beauty in the center of the city. Thank you for choosing Airturtle." Donnie informed, sounding like some kind of tour guide or airplane pilot.
A bit bored Raph then turned to look outside through the barred window, until...
"HEY! THERE HE IS!" he cried in alarm and pointed outside.
Each turtle looked to the left and saw Casey passing them in the blue motorbike, ignoring the turtles' from outside an unusual-looking armored car that drove in the street. After driving past them, Casey turned from the next road junction to the left and drove into the park.
"Are you sure that's the guy who kicked Louie's and yours shells severely yesterday?" Dom questioned.
"Well, quite hard to forget him after what he did to us!" Louie said, touching his still swollen eye. "And I'm so tempted to give that whacko such of favor that he won't be able to sit for a week!"
Both Raph and Louie hurried to Donnie.
"Floor it, Don! Keep up with him!" Raph shouted.
"Yeah! We can't let that whacko to get away again!" Louie added, unable to hold back his uncontrollable desire to settle some scores filled the turtle in black.
"I'm sorry, guys, but the Battle Shell is too big and heavy to keep up with something small and fast like the motorbike. Besides, the entrances in this side of the park are too narrow for the Battle Shell to fit through. I have to find another and more spacious way into the park." Donnie apologized.
"We have no time for that! There gotta be some way to stop that hothead!" Raph demanded.
"And settle some scores!" Louie added once again with determination.
"Then why don't you two go and beat him in his own game? You see, I've whipped up something small for you two. It's in the back." Donnie said as he pointed to behind.
A curious, Raph and Louie moved to the backside of the Battle Shell and gasped in amazement at the sight of two heavy motorcycles with turbo boosts, one of which was painted bright red, just like the color of Raph's mask, and another was painted avocado green, the tune of Louie's skin's color, with the black flame paints.
You like them? They're specifically designed for the daredevil use, meaning, for you two alone." Donnie said from the front, with the proud grin. "I call them 'The Shell Cycles!'"
"If you call something like this small, then you're not the techno-geek Donatello I know and love!" Louie shouted in joy and eagerness, as he jumped onto the back of his own bike and put the Avocado green helmet on his head.
"Yeah, Donatello! You're the turtle!" Raph praised as he too took the red helmet and put it on his head before he jumped onto his bike's back.
The turtles in red and black then exchanged the determined looks and winked with each other through of their helmets' wind screens.
"Ready, bro?" Raph asked from his brother.
"Readier than ever!" Louie replied with the thump up.
The turtles in red and black then revved up their engines and prepared themselves for the ride.
"Now, let's rock and... TURTLEIZE!" the turtles bellowed in unison as they ignited their bikes turbo boosters at the same time and shot out the back doors of the Battle Shell and hit the streets... in biker turtles' style.(1)
Even though the Shell Cycles were a pretty fast moving thanks to their turbo boosters and that this was their very first ride on them, a reckless hothead like Raphael and daredevil action-lover like Louie learned quickly both to control and drive the bikes in the high pace.
After hitting the road, the turtles in red and black turned their bikes around and sped up to the high speed till they reached to the Battle Shell's side, during of which Raph even performed the brief but cool-looking sharp wheelie with his own bike.
Louie, however, gave in to the temptation to perform even more daredevil stunt and ended up to defy gravity by driving sideways along the nearby building's solid wall. The turtle in black kept driving a little bit higher, till he eventually jumped off the wall and flipped sideways for few times in the air before landing onto the Battle Shell's roof. Then he drove with the wheelie style off the roof onto the Battle Shell's hood before he drove completely off.
"MEAN IN GREEN ON THE WHEELS! AH HA HA HA HA HAA!" Louie laughed like the maniac at his stunt.
"WHATTA MANIAC!" Dom shouted from inside of the Battle Shell after having witnessed Louie's stunt in disbelief.
When the duo reached up to one of the entrance into the Central Park, Raph and Louie swerved to the right and drove into the park to look for Casey.
It did not took long from Raph and Louie to find the vigilante driving on the Park's road on the back of the blue motorbike.
However, peeking over his left shoulder, Casey spotted them incoming and sped up his bike.
After seeing that Casey was trying to make a break for it, he turtle duo sped up their own bikes as well. The turtle duo caught him quickly and moved to both his left and right side, surrounding him in attempt to block his escape.
"HEY HOTSHOT! SLOW IT DOWN!" Raph demanded as he reached alongside him on his left.
"YOU BETTER DO AS HE SAYS! DO NOT MAKE US TO USE A TOUGH MEASURES!" Louie bellowed.
However, Casey stubbornly ignored the duo and sped up, prompting the turtle duo to speed up with him as well.
Casey attempted to get rid of the turtles by weaving through the trees and making the several daredevil turns at the corners, hoping that Raph and Louie would either crash into the trees or lampposts at a high speed or either lose the balance in the sharp turns and end up falling over to the ground. However, even as the rookie drivers, Raph and Louie easily and quite skillfully kept up with him, both performing the countless wheelies along the way to show some superiority to their adversary.
During of the chase, after Casey had managed to gain a quite head-start and was about to turn to right from another corner, Louie performed another daredevil stunt after spotting a single ramps on the way. Louie sped up to the full speed as he headed towards the ramp and sent himself flying into the air. While in the air, Louie then ignited the turbo boosters that boosted him and his bike forward, flying through the air like the rocket. During of the flight, Louie turned his bike to the left and the direction where Casey had just went and ignited the turbo boosters again, boosting him towards the road on which the Casey was on the moment.
"YEEEE-HAAAA! DONNIE, NOW YOU HAVE SURPASSED YOURSELF!" Louie bellowed from the top of his lungs as he flew at the very high speed through the air before his bike landed almost directly in front of Casey, surprising the vigilante.
"WHOA!" Casey yelped, surprised by Louie's stunt.
Louie then drove a small way forward before he turned his bike to the left and the bike skidded sideways forward along the road for a moment before it finally stopped, which was part of Louie's plan to try to prevent Casey from escaping. However, Casey didn't stop as Louie had expected him to do. Instead, Casey curved past the turtle in black from his right side (from Casey's view), evading both being stopped and crashing into the foolhardy turtle's bike with the very close call, much to Louie's annoyance. After that, Raph then curved past him from his left side (from Raph's view) and drove after Casey as he was getting away.
"Damn with that hockey-masked madman!" Louie cursed as he turned his bike around and resumed the chase.
It did not took long from the turtle duo to catch up Casey again and surrounded him again from both sides.
"PULL OVER!" Raph demanded.
"THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE, WHACKO! THEN YOU'LL SEE THAT WE AIN'T KIDDING! PULL OVER!" Louie demanded.
Casey ignored them again... which was the last straw to the turtles.
Raph then turned to Louie and lifted up his right hand. The turtle in red then clenched his hand into a fist, save for his forefinger which he left upright and rolled it around in the air for a couple times before pointing with it down at the fore tire of his own bike. "WAIT 'TILL I GIVE A SIGNAL!"
Louie, getting Raph's message, nodded and sped up his bike, driving past Casey and positioned himself to the position of one a clock, viewed from Casey's position.
Casey was both confused and suspicious of what Louie was doing, before Raph quickly drove next to him.
"PULL OVER!" Raph demanded one more time, which Casey chose to ignore... again.
"OKAY, BUDDY! YOU ASKED FOR THIS!" Raph shouted and stretched his right hand out towards the brakes on Casey's bike and forcefully presses them down, causing the sharp ear-piercing screech in Casey's bike's front tire.
And as soon as Louie heard that ear-deafening screech, which he assumed to be Raph's signal, turtle in black then made a sudden and sharp 240-degree turnaround to the left with his bike, skidding forward along the road's tarmac while his bike leaned dangerously close to a 20-10 degree angle.
With this, Louie's bike's rear tire hit to Casey's bike's fore tire, and the impact catapulted Casey's bike into the air and flung Casey off its back.
"AAAAGGGGHHHH!" Casey let out as he flew through the air.
After skidding his bike to stop while Raph kept going a bit further forward, Louie leaned his arms onto the handlebar of his bike and watched with a smile on his lips as the screaming Casey flew a good distance away from the spot where his little stunt had totally caught the stubborn vigilante by surprise, before he landed pretty hard to the ground on his back.
"Oooh! That gotta hurt!" Louie told himself, taking a pleasure for what he considered as a sweet payback for the bruises and the swollen eye he got from the earlier encounter with Casey.
In the other side of the road, a some distance away from both Casey and Louie, Raph skidded his bike to halt and turned around to see Casey lying barely conscious from the crash, next to his fallen bike. The turtle in red then turned to Louie, who was in the other side of the road a long distance away from him ... and half a shorter distance away from Casey.
"What do you say, Louie. Shall we show him a little double shell-shock?" Raph asked from Louie via the walkie talkie added to inside of their helmets.
"Definitely, bro!" Louie nodded, though Raph couldn't see it from the other end of the long distance.
"If you don't mind, I'll go first! I still got the scores to settle and I'm not done with him yet." Louie grinned before he revved the engine and raced towards Casey at the high speed, and so did Raph.
Casey was still stunned from his flight and rough landing as he slowly got up from the ground, that he didn't notice the two brothers incoming towards him at full speed from both sides. Due to Louie taking the head start, he reached to Casey shortly before Raph did.
"YO, WHACKO!"Louie called as he took out couple of Bolas, and holding one in each hand, he began to spin their three ends wildly over his head.
"PAYBACK TIME!" the turtle in black declared as he tossed the Bolas towards Casey.
Before Casey could react, the first Bola wrapped swiftly around of the vigilante and tied him up tightly. The first Bola also tied his arms inside and against his body, preventing him from picking up his golf back and using his weapons against them. Shortly after, Louie's second Bola wrapped around Casey's legs, preventing him from running away.
(Slow motion)
After wrapping up Casey with his Bolas, Louie re-positioned himself into a crouched position on the back of his bike as he kept driving. And when he was just about to drive past the bound Casey, the turtle in black jumped off his bike and towards the restrained vigilante, flipping over in the air so that he could move his hooked feet were in front of him. Then, with a loud "HAI YAA!" cry, Louie shot his leg forward and kicked Casey with both feet directly to his chest. Louie's double-feet kick was so strong that it sent Casey flying backwards and towards just timely incoming Raph, who jumped off his own bike at the moment of driving past Casey and tackled and pinned the vigilante to the ground.
The victorious turtles then got up from the ground and turned to look at their respective bikes as they skidded to the halt at the end of the long distances from them and Casey, before they eventually fell over to the ground.
"Well, that was fun, don't you think?" Louie said, feeling really satisfied of their victory.
"Definitely!" Raph replied. "Good job, brother."
Raph and Louie then high-threed with each other with the victorious grins on their lips, before the duo hurried to check on Casey.
The vigilante was lying on his back in the ground, barely conscious from the serious butt-kicking and still tied up by Louie's Bolas.
"Ah, I can't believe I just got my butt kicked by some giant frogs." Casey muttered, lamenting his defeat.
The victorious brothers took off their helmets as they looked down at him.
"Turtles." Raph corrected.
"And these turtles have a names, you know." Louie added, before pointing with his right hand's thump at Raph shortly before pointing at himself. "Meet Raphael and Lorenzo. 'Raph' and 'Louie' in short."
"Whatever!" Casey snapped in irritation. "I've already had enough of you two. Release me from these... these... whatever these rope-thingies are!" he snarled, angrily struggling against the thick ropes of Louie's Bolas.
"No deal, maniac! Not 'till you listen to us willingly." Louie denied, standing over Casey.
"And this time you WILL listen to us ... and you'll listen to us very carefully, you wanted it or not! Otherwise, we can make a phone call to the police and inform them that there's a small package awaiting for them in the Central Park. And try to guess how interested the cops would be in knowing that a certain crazy and violent vigilant in a hockey mask is finally caught and is waiting to be thrown behind bars for being guilty of numerous violent and near-homicidal attacks. I'm very tempted to do so. I really do, believe me! But you can avoid that only if you agree to listen to us. And I'm sure you can't stand the thought of watching through the bars of the prison window how the Purple Dragons rampage all around of New York City without anyone to oppose them. And even less of a thought of how they would gather in front of your cell's window to laugh and mock you for rotting in the prison while they're free to roam in the streets like a bird of the sky. How does that sound?"
Raph then open his mouth to speak.
"So we offer you a couple of options here: either you finally listen to what we have to say, or else you can just rot behind bars. You can only pick one of those two options and we'll respect your decision, whatever it is. So what do you say?"
Casey growled at the two turtles, but he couldn't help but notice in the midst of all the stubbornness and anger that the turtles had a point.
The angry vigilante found himself in a bitter contradiction between the two options offered to him. His own pride told him to reject the former option, but something within him told him not to, because choosing the latter option would mean that he won't be never again - or not at least for a long time if he ends up behind bars in prison - able to get his hands on the Purple Dragons scum and make them pay to satisfy his seemingly unsatisfied hatred for them. And the black turtle was more than right. Casey was horrified at the thought of being arrested, locked up in prison, and forced to watch night and day through the bars of his cell's window as the victorious Purple Dragons laughed cruelly to his face and mocked him for sitting in jail instead of them.
Casey saw no other way out of this, nor out of the cruel and haunting fate Louie had just envisioned for him, Casey chose the first option, though reluctantly.
"Ugh! O-O-Ok-Okay! Okay! Fine! Fine! Fine! I'll listen!" Casey spat bitterly those words, that satisfied the turtles greatly, out of his mouth.
With that, Louie then took his Butterfly swords out and threw them towards Casey, deliberately missing him
Louie then took his Butterfly swords out and threw them almost in the reckless manner - as if he didn't care where he aimed his swords and expected them to cause the "minimal" damage on Casey - towards where the ends of his Bolas had mingled with each other into tight knots. His sword hit skillfully to their marks, cutting the knots loose - only missing a mere inch from Casey's right arm's skin and his legs - and freeing Casey from his bounds.
"I hope that this is better be worth of it." Casey snarled as he threw the remains of Louie's Bolas away.
"But it is with one hundred percent. Trust me, buddy... Casey, wasn't it?" Louie presumed as he picked up his Butterfly swords off the ground while Raph confiscated his golf-bag and all its contains in case Casey was trying to play tricks on them again and to further force him into cooperation.
"None of your business." Casey spat bitterly.
Raph then handed Casey's golf-back to Louie before he stepped forward.
"Look, buddy. We aren't fans of the Purple Dragons either, but we refuse to lower ourselves to the point where we begin to beat the Dragons to near death like you did that night in the alleys and probably the other nights before. We'll help you take them down, but first you and I gotta exercise just a little restraint." Raph said as he held out his hand to Casey, offering to help him up.
"Save it. You're just wasting your time with me. You two don't even know what you're talking about." Casey hissed, though he did accept Raph's help and the turtle in red pulled him up.
"Oh, I dare to bet we do." Louie countered. "And even you know it, or are you just too prideful to admit it, huh?"
"Hmph! No you don't! You know nothing about me!" Casey hissed again.
"Try us." Raph challenged, encouraging Casey to prove them wrong, like by indirectly asking him to tell them the reason for such of blind and homicidal hatred for the Dragons.
Seeing that the turtles' won't back down, Casey let out the sigh and relented.
"Well, if you two really insist... fine." he started, lifting his hockey mask above his faces. Then he began to recall the events back in his past. "A long time ago when I was a kid, maybe eight or nine or something, my dad used to run the store called "Jones' Hardware". One night, a local gang of some young punks were shaking my dad down for protection money."
"Purple Dragons?" Louie asked rhetorically.
"Yes... the Purple Dragon scum, including one called Hun. Me and him, we go way back. He is their megalomaniacal leader and the founder of their whole organization, who led to the extortion of my father's money." Casey confirmed, continuing his story. "And when my old man refused to pay, they torched our store! Hun even threatened me face to face with what would happen if my dad didn't pay next time."
Casey's face hardened into an angry glare as he remembered the events of that night.
"I'll never forget that day. Never!" Casey snarled, as his eyes blazed again out of anger that boiled inside of him.
"Why didn't your father went to tell the police?" Louie questioned again.
However, soon after the question had left Louie's mouth, Casey turned away from the turtles as his hardened face turned into a look of pain, and his still-blazing eyes began to fill with tears that he didn't want to show to the turtles.
"He did, indeed." Casey responded with hardly controllable breaking voice. "And he paid dearly for it." he added with the bitter tone.
Raph and Louie were taken aback of what Casey had just said. The vigilante in front of them held a deep hatred and personal grudge for the Purple Dragons not only for takinghis family's livelihood but also taking his father away from him... away from his life, permanently.
Casey remained silent and still for a moment while recalling his past losses that caused him so much pain, before he closed his eyes and sed a tear.
This was enough for Raph and Louie to realize Casey's motives... his love for his father and the grief and pain caused by his loss in the hands of the Dragons. The turtles began immediately feel sorry for the vigilante after learning of his tragic and traumatizing past.
Casey then wiped the tears off his eyes and turned back to the turtles.
"So don't tell me how to deal with Purple Dragons!" he snapped angrily.
Louie walked over to Casey and landed his hand to his shoulder in offering of comfort. "
Louie then walked to Casey and landed his hand to his shoulder in offering of comfort. "Casey? We're- we're sorry. We're so sorry about what happened to you and your father. I understand now that you were just traumatized by what you were forced to go through." Louie said in sympathetic voice.
"But you must be careful." Raph added as he walked over to Casey too. "You shouldn't let your trauma, your emotions and your anger get over your head, otherwise they would destroy you. Change you. Make you act just like them." Raph said, attempting to pass on Master Splinter's wisdom to Casey just like he had done to him earlier.
"And we're absolutely certain that your father would never have wanted his son to become like those punks: a monster who cares nothing about what is right and what is wrong, or about whom he would harm at the same time, either an evil man or an innocent one. "Louie added, indirectly reminding Casey about his previous violent behavior in his attempt to pass through the vigilante's defenses and into his conscience.
Casey was taken aback by both Raph's and Louie's words, leaving him speechless and maybe even a bit ashamed of his recent behavior... though almost.
"I... I... I've never thought about that before." Casey admitted calmly.
Raph nodded in understanding. "Tell me about it. I know that feeling well. When I have same anger issues, our... own father... once told me a true warrior finds balance in all things."
Casey was a bit puzzled, but managed to pull a smile on his lips.
"Balance, huh? What are you talking about?" he questioned with his hands crossed.
"Well, you know, as much balance as a couple of hot-headed whack-bags like us can manage." Raph explained with a smirk, as the turtle in red started to fond with the vigilante.
Casey was a bit surprised that Raph said 'us', referring both himself and Casey, though not including Louie.
"We? I think you're the the only whack-bags around here." Casey argued good-naturally, before he turned to Louie. "Especially your madcap pal here. Don't even think I didn't see your daredevil stunts during the race."
"Madcap? Me?" I take that as a compliment. Thanks." Louie smirked.
"Hey, leave my baby bro alone. He ain't even half as crazy as you, and neither am I." Raph said as he playfully punched Casey in the arm.
"Oh, yeah?" Casey scoffed. "Then how does that explain all those crazy air flights with the bike and the daring jumps off the back of a bike at high speed? Your baby brother is definitely even crazier than me."
"Says the one who is crazy enough to jump into the fight against the outnumbering odds as if he has a suicidal thoughts." Louie joked. "But if you seriously think that my stunts with the bike are all what this 'Madcap' is capable of... then it is YOU who actually doesn't know anything about us." he added, with a friendly punch to Casey's chest.
"Yeah. So look in the mirror, will ya?" Raph chuckled.
"Sorry, but for a little green dudes, you two are totally nuts." Casey shot back, punching both the turtles back.
"Yeah? Well, if I were you, I wouldn't be running around the streets with a hockey mask on my face. I would feel like an idiot." Raph said, though without any intention to offend Casey.
"What's wrong with the mask, if may I ask? I just need something to protect my good looks. I'm saving this face for Hollywood." Casey said in cocky smile.
"'Action-star, Casey Jones. The horror of the underworld' eh? I'd love to see that." Louie joked.
Suddenly, before the trio's friendly conversation could get any further...
"Aw, isn't this romantic. A guy in a hockey mask and two freaks together on a date in Central Park." a new voice said in a mocking tone.
The turtles and Casey turned to the direction of the ominous voice and saw a tall bald-headed man, who had a small tuft of pale green hair tied in ponytail behind of his head and a small pale green goatee. The man was dressed in a black shirt with wide collar and the shoulder pads, a gray and red vest that he kept open, red-black military's camouflage pants and military boots. He also wore a spiky arm pads in his wrists and the spiky abdominal protection over his stomach. And finally, he had a visible purple dragon tattoo on the left side of his neck and face.
"And who is this bald-head supposed to be?" Raph questioned as he turned to Casey. "You two seem to be old acquaintances to each other, so would you like to introduce him to us?"
Casey snarled at the sight of the dragon-faced man. "This punk is Dragon Face, Hun's second-in-command of the Purple Dragon punks! Not as bad as Hun, but still a slimy bastard nonetheless."(2)
Louie recognized this "Dragon Face" guy's voice immediately! He had heard it earlier a few nights ago via a phone call that Dragon-goon made with someone - who had a very similar voice - right after the violent match between him, Raph, and Casey.
"Oooooh, yes! How could've I forgotten." Louie lamented with the facepalm. "Did I mention that those three Dragons from that alley had been spying on us and overheard us talking about tonight's date during our first met, and they decided to join the party with a few of friends of theirs?" the turtle in black asked.
As if to prove him correct, the Dragon Face was immediately backed up by a lots of Purple Dragons, that included the same trio from earlier - as well as those ones from that alley over couple weeks back. All of them emerged from behind the bushes and trees, armed with various melee weapons as they surrounded the turtles and Casey.
"Uh... and a lot of friends." Louie said but kept his cool, counting the number of Dragons, which was a little over four dozen, or seventeen times more guys than what they had.
"So, when you two said I'd go too far, get myself into trouble, you meant something like this?" Casey asked, remembering Raph's and Louie's words from earlier and realizing that they were right after all.
"Yeah. Something like this." Raph responded.
The turtles and Casey went back-to-back with each other (or logically speaking, the shell of a turtle against the human back) as the Dragons kept coming even closer.
"Ain't those two the same freaks back from the alley?" a familiar Redhead punk said, recognizing Raph and Louie from their earlier encounter.
"Who cares? Now it's time for the sweet payback." snarled a Cap-head thug, a member of the trio of Dragons a few days back.
"We've been waiting for this for a long time, punk. You have interfered our business far too long... but it will end tonight, permanently" the bald-headed dragon-faced guy, possibly the group's leader, according to Casey with accusing words. "You, and the freaks, won't be leaving this park. Not on your own two feet anyway."
"In fact, you won't be leaving in one piece nor alive." a familiar Blue-haired thug said.
"Yeah! There's more of us than you!" a familiar big Fatso punk taunted.
As the Purple Dragons were about to attack the trio, the bright headlights of the approaching vehicle caught their attentions and almost the entire gang turned from the trio to the direction of the incoming vehicle.
Casey was confused by this, but Raph and Louie exchanged a knowing smiles with each other.
"I guess you spoke all too soon, guys! Here comes our reinforcements... and not a moment too soon." Louie said to the punks.
Soon the Battle Shell arrived on the scene and swerved to stop next to the trio, causing the villains to disperse and some of them dived out of the way so they didn't get hit by the big green vehicle.
And when the truck was parked, both the sliding and back doors opened and Leo, Mary, Mikey, Arcee, Donnie, and Dom piled out and joined Raph, Louie, and Casey's side to even the odds somehow.
Casey was surprised to see six giant turtles more.
"Oh! There's even more of you than just two? And who are they? Friends of yours?" Casey asked.
"Brothers and sisters actually." Raph corrected.
"Casey... Meet Leonardo the fearless leader, big sis Marietta, our little medic Artemisia, Michelangelo the knucklehead joker, Donatello the techno geek and nag-nag-nag Domenico." Louie said, introducing the rest of their family to Casey one by one, as they draw out their weapons and took their stances, ready to face the Dragons.
Casey eyed the turtles one by one for a moment. "Well, I can see the family resemblance."
"But I'm the prettiest one. Even prettier than our girls." Mikey joked, causing both Mary and Arcee to whack him to the back of his head, though Mary did so with her Naginata's blunt end.
"Ow! What?!" Mikey complained.
"You're not a female turtle, Mikey! So you have no right to claim to be a prettier! Not even if it was a joke!" Mary retorted.
"Yeah! Or have you forgotten what happened that one time when you smiled broadly in front of a mirror?" Arcee reminded, as the right corner of her mouth curved up into a small smirk and a small chuckle escaped her mouth at that memory.(3)
"Hey, sis! That was because of Louie and his slingshot...!" Mikey snapped, a little embarrassed by that memory.(3)
"Hey! For the last time, bro! I didn't do anything!" Louie defended.(3)
Mikey attempted to say something back until Donnie cut him off.
"Guys! Not in front of the audience, please." the brainy turtle said.
The Dragons soon regrouped and were ready to take the battle on the turtles and Casey.
"Purple Dragons! Kill them all!" Dragon Face ordered his minions.
"Well, Casey. Mind to spare a few of these losers with a fellow non-human vigilantes?" Raph asked as he draw out his Sais.
"LET'S TURTLEIZE THEM!" Louie shouted for the whole group as he draw out his Butterfly swords.
Casey, not minding of sharing the Dragons with his newfound allies at all, put the mask back on and took out a hockey stick. Then he positioned himself in front of the turtles.
"More likely... LET'S CASEYLEIZE THEM!" Casey shouted, mimicking the turtles' battle cry.
"Whatever. However, remember to keep your temper. We'll stay close by and keep an eye on your every move in case you lose the control again." Raph informed.
The Dragons the charged at the turtles and Casey.
The familiar Shorty thug along with the Redhead thug charged at Mikey and Donnie while Blue-haired thug, Ball-haired thug and Green-shirted thug went for Arcee and Dom.
However, Mikey dodged Shorty's attack as he swung his crowbar at him, before knocking it off Shorty's hands with his left hand's Nunchaku before whacking the thug to the face with his right one, while Donnie dodged under the Redhead's attack with the pipe and struck him hard with his Bo. Both the Dragons were sent flying.
Arcee dodged under of the Ball-haired thug's staff as he tried to hit her with it, before the turtle in pink jumped into the air, spun around and hook-kicked the thug in the face with her right leg. Meanwhile, Dom blocked with his Tonfas several Green-shirted thug's attacks with the long pipe, before he kicked the pipe off his hands and knocked the villain over to the ground with the palm-strike to the chest.
Raph and Casey were surrounded by Cap-head, Blue-face, Fatso and Spiky-head. Cap-head and Blue-face lunged at them, but Raph handled the Cap-head quickly by blocking with his Sai the thug's attack with wrench before he sent the kick to the thug's stomach, knocking him over to the ground. Meanwhile, Casey dodged the Blue-Face's attack with the pipe from under of the swing before he whacked the thug to the face with his hockey-stick, sending him flying to the ground.
Fatso and Spike-head thus then attempted to attack Casey from both sides at the same time, with their weapons, the bat and the sledge-hammer, raised above their heads and aimed at Casey's head to crush it. However, before they could kill Casey...
"Hey! Will ya guys hold these for me a moment?" Louie's voice asked as his Butterfly swords flew spinning sideways towards their weapons.
The short swords' blades hit and got stuck the Fatso thug's baseball bat and the Spiky-head's sledge-hammer's shaft, halting the thug's attacks and leaving them confused.
Taking his Manriki-gusaris chains into his hands, Louie tossed their ends towards the two thugs and wrapped them around of Fatso's left and Spiky-head's right wrists. Before the confused Dragons could react in any way, the turtle in black pulled his chains back, yanking the thugs towards him. As the Dragons wobbled to the perfect spot in front of the turtle in black, Louie let go of the chains and butterfly-kicked the thugs under of their chins, knocking them off their feet and sending them flying to the ground.
"Why, thank you for agreeing." Louie jokingly thanked the thugs as he retrieved his swords and pulled them off from the downed thugs' weapons.
Meanwhile, Leo found himself surrounded by multiple thugs as they closed on him to attack. However, the turtle in blue suddenly sheathed his Katanas before he pounced up and split kicked two thugs in front and behind of him away, surprising the other Dragons.
"HEY GUYS! Check it out! I got my split-kick right!" Leo exclaimed, calling for Raph, Louie and Casey to check him out while three were dealing with three attacking thugs: Raph finished his thug with the punch to the face, Louie snap-kicked his own in the face, knocking him over to the ground, and Casey tripped his own over to the ground with his hockey-stick before knocking him out with the blunt end of his stick.
"You did, bro?!" Louie questioned before his focus suddenly turned to a new attacker: a female Dragon with the pair of knives. Louie blocked the thug's first attempt to stab him from above with his left wrist and blocked the thug's second knife with his right hand's sword, before he kicked thug's right leg from under her, causing her to fall onto her knee in front of him. Louie then finished her by kneeing him to the face.
"Sorry, I missed it!" Raph apologized, before he duck next attacker's punch aimed to his face before kicking him off. " Let me see it again!"
Leo agreed and pounced up again and split-kicked two more thugs from his left and right away, before giving his audience a 'Tadaa' posture.
However, Raph, Casey and Louie missed it again. Casey was little busy as he knocked with the blunt end of his stick to a new thug's face, knocking his head back before Casey kicked him in the stomach. Louie ducked under of the second new thug's swing with the chain before spun around and hook-kicked the thug in the face, causing the thug to spin around a few times before he fell on his side to the ground. Raph fended off the third new thug's attack with pipe with his Sais before kicking him three times in the guts, with the third one sending him flying away.
"Oh! Sorry! One more time, please!" the turtle in red pleaded with apologizing tone.
Leo sighed, a bit annoyed that no one was paying attention and that he had to do the same thing for the third time. But the turtle in blue shrugged it off nonetheless and split-kicked two more thugs from his front and back away.
"Ha ha haa! Saw that one!" Raph laughed.
"Cool move, Leo!" Louie praised.
Even Casey was impressed of Leo's technique "Hey green dude in blue! I give you ten points for that!" he called, while holding up all his ten fingers.
Raph and Louie mimicked Casey and held up their own fingers... both giving six points to Leo's technique.
"Hey! Raph and Louie! Are you two giving me only six?" Leo teased, pretending to be disappointed for being given half lower number of points by his own flesh and blood, before he elbowed a big thug that attempted to sneak attack on him from behind him in the stomach.
"Sorry, bro, it's all we got!" Raph simply said, before blocking a new thug's punch by grabbing from his fist before kicking him aside.
"Yeah. Got no more!" Louie responded as well, before he turned to the fire axe-wielding thug that attempted to hit him with the axe.
Louie quickly grabbed from the thug's axe with both hands, leading both the turtle in black and the Dragon to wrestle for the hold of the weapon. Both kept pushing each other back and trying to forcibly pull the axe off from each other's hands.
"Need a little help?" Casey asked and jabbed the Dragon hard in the stomach with the blunt end of his stick, causing the Dragon to gasp in pain and bent over.
"Thanks, whacko." Louie thanked as he headbutted the Dragon to the head, knocking him back and over to the ground. The turtle in black then threw the axe away before turning to Casey with the grateful smile. Both the turtle in black and the hockey-masked vigilante then exchanged the friendly fist bump with each other.
Donnie was meanwhile blocking one thug's swings with the shovel. Donnie then ducked under of the thug's last swing with the shovel before the turtle in purple stabbed pretty hard to the thug's leg with the blunt end of his Bo, making the thug to yelp in pain. The thug dropped the shovel and started hopping around with one foot while holding with both hands from the leg Donnie had just stabbed. This, however, gave Donnie an opportunity to sweep the Dragon's leg from under him, making him fall over and on his side to the ground. The Dragon tried to get back up, but Donnie quickly whacked him to the head with his staff, knocking him out.
Dom was elsewhere fighting with two Dragons. He whacked the first one in the face with his right Tonfa, knocking him back for a bit, then turned around and elbowing the next in his left in the stomach, causing the Dragon to gasp and bent over. As Dom was about to finish him with the knock to the head, the first Dragon tried to seize his right arm to prevent him from using it. However, Dom quickly jabbed with his left Tonfa's blunt end the Dragon to the stomach, causing him to gasp from pain and let go of Dom's arm before he bent over, holding his stomach with his arms while gritting his teeth in pain. Dom then turned back to the second Dragon and knocked him out by swinging his right Tonfa in an arc from below directly to the thug's face
"I'm coming for you, you freakish scum!" Dom heard someone snarling behind of him and turned towards the voice.
"Wow!" Dom yelped as he saw the thug wielding the chainsaw, which the Dragon swung towards Dom's head. Dom ducked the blade from under it and then quickly jumped with the barrel roll away from the Dragon as he swung the chainsaw's blade towards the turtle in white again. Growling angrily through his gritted teeth, the Dragon slowly began to walk towards Dom and swing his chainsaw towards the white turtle like crazy madman. Dom yelped again in alarm and backed away from the crazy thug while dodging his attacks.
Donnie meanwhile was spinning his staff in the air with both hands as he glared at the new thug that was glaring back while holding up the piece of metal. As the Dragon lifted his weapon up to attack, Donnie swung his staff at the thug and struck him to the back of his right hand, causing him to yelp from pain and drop the piece of metal off his hands. At the same time, Dom backed next to him, the chainsaw-wielding Dragon right behind him. As the Dragon swung the chainsaw at Dom again, the turtle in white ducked from under it and then flipped backward and out of the way of the thug's next attack. Seeing his brother in trouble, Donnie swung his staff towards Dom's thug, whacking him in the stomach.
"OHHH!" the Dragon gasped in the pain as Donnie's staff hit across his stomach, causing the thug to let go from the chainsaw's handle with his right hand and held from his stomach as he bent over. Donnie then swung his staff back towards his own thug and whacked him hard to the head, knocking him down. As the pain in Dom's thug's stomach faded slightly away, the thug lifted his head up and saw Dom running towards him like he was going to attack him. Before he could lift his chainsaw up to defend himself, Donnie swung his staff toward the thug again and this time whacked him in the face.
"AHH!" the Dragon yelped in pain as the turtle in purple's staff's blunt end struck him in the nose and knocked his head slightly back, causing him to let go of his chainsaw again and held from his aching nose. This distraction, however, allowed Dom to jump at the thug and finish him with the kick to the head, sending the big thug flying into handful of his own fellow thugs, knocking them all down.
Elsewhere, Mary was surrounded by nine Purple Dragon thugs - all of them were the same nine from that alley a while back - who held their weapons up and ready as they slowly, cautiously but certainly approached her with the intention to overpower her by sheer numbers. Three first punks were at the lead; Blue-haired thug from the front, the Spiky-head thug from between the four and five a clock and the Shortie from between of nine and eight a clock - ironically in the exact same place as those three practice dummies in her training session three days ago.
While eying the thugs around her and the odds of the situation, Mary recalled Master Splinter's words during of her training a few days ago.
Remember Marietta, that sometimes your enemy won't be in front of you. Sometimes not in behind you and sometimes not in next to you. They will be in everywhere around you, every corner waiting for their moment to strike. One of them will use others to gain advantage on you. Two of them sometimes might use one of them own as distraction to gain the advantage on you. To your enemy it matters that are you either distracted or outnumbered. You must think faster, move faster, use their confidence against them.
Relying on her father's words and her own senses, Mary dropped her Naginata to the ground and took the prepared stance. The turtle in turquoise breathed calmly in and out as she prepared herself to perform the triple-kick. While doing so, she eyed each Dragon one by one while trying to anticipate which one was going to make the first move. The effectiveness of the entire counterattack always depended on the first movement of the first person, so that the rest would be in the right place, in the sufficient distance away and at the right time.
Of course, the Shortie thug behind her made his move and moved closer to strike her, followed by Spiky-head and Blue-haired thug right afterwards. However, the turtle in turquoise suddenly spun around to face the Shortie and spin-kicked him to the right side of the face with her right leg, sending the thug flying away. After that she put her right leg back to the ground and turned around towards the Spiky-head as she jumped up in the air with the same leg, spun around in the air again and kicked Spiky-head in the face with her left leg, knocking him onto his back to the ground. After that, Mary spun around for the third time in the air before turning to the Blue-haired thug and hook-kick the thug in the face with her right leg. This time, her kick didn't miss the mark as her kick struck the Dragon to the right side of his face, knocking him off his feet and sending him through of barrel roll over to the ground where he was left to lie down, knocked out.
With all three first Dragon goons knocked down and out while the six other Dragons watched the turtle in turquoise with puzzled looks on their faces, Mary landed triumphantly on her feet back to the ground.
"HEY, ARCEE! MIKEY! Check me out! I got my triple-kick to finally work!" Mary called for Arcee and Mikey to check her out, while her siblings were fending off the thugs.
"Sorry, sister, I didn't see it." Arcee apologized before she ducked the new thug's attack with the chain. Then she sliced the thug's chain in half with one of her Tessens before roundhouse kicking him to the face, knocking him back.
"Me neither, but I'd love to see that!" Mikey called, until the turtle in orange had to duck his thug's swing of his fist as he tried to punch him, only for Mikey to return the favor by whacking him with his left hand's Nunchaku from below in the 'Left Hook' style, before whacking him again with his right hand's Nunchaku to the face, knocking him out and down.
"If you don't mind, show it us again." the turtle in orange asked.
Mary agreed as three next Purple Dragons, Green-shirted, Ball-haired and Redhead thugs charged at her, but this time from the opposite directions than what did the first ones. This time, Mary re-performed her triple-kick anticlockwise. She turned around and spin-kicked with her left the Redhead thug, that came from six a clock, to the left side of his face, before lowering her leg down and then jumping with it in the air. Spinning around to the left, she kicked with her right leg the Green-shirted thug, that came from between ten and eleven a clock, to the head before spinning around one more time. Turning finally to the Ball-haired Dragon that came from between two and three a clock, Mary finished him with the spinning hook kick with her left leg to the head, knocking him out and off his feet.
After that, Mary landed on her feet to the ground and triumphantly gave "Tadaa" gesture.
However, thanks to a new round of attacking Dragons, Arcee and Mikey missed it again as they were forced to defend themselves. Arcee blocked her female thug's attack with the pipe with her closed Tessens before she pushed it back. As the thug attempted to hit with it Arcee again, the turtle in turquoise opened her Tessens and sliced the thug's pipe into three parts before she snap-kicked her now disarmed thug in the face, sending her flying back. At the same time, Mikey, while holding his Nunchucks under of his armpits, flipped over of his Dragon's swing with the sledge-hammer as he tried to break Mikey's legs with it. After landing back onto his feet, Mikey ducked under of the Dragon's next swing that was aimed at his head. The Dragon then raised his hammer over his head to bring it down on Mikey but before he could attack again, Mikey quickly hook-kicked him in the chest, knocking him off his feet and over to the ground.
After dealing with the thugs, Mikey and Arcee were able to focus on Mary again.
"Sorry! We missed it again!" Mikey apologized. "Mind if you could do it one more time?"
Mary rolled her eyes, a bit annoyed of her siblings lack of attention towards her hard-worked technique, but shrugged her shoulders in "Whatever" manner nonetheless.
"Fine. Whatever." the turtle in turquoise sighed and prepared herself to perform the triple-kick one more time as the three remaining thugs, Fatso, Cap-head and Blue-face charged at her to attack. Going the clockwise again, the turtle in turquoise spun around to face Blue-face from three a clock and spin-kicked him to the head with her right leg, sending him over to the ground. Then she landed her leg down again before jumping up and spinning around, kicking with her left leg from between eight and seven a clock incoming Cap-headed thug to the chest. Mary then spun around in the air one more time and hook-kicked with her left leg from ten a clock incoming Fatso in the head, knocking him off his feet and onto his back to the ground. With the remaining Dragons defeated, Mary landed back on her feet before turning back to her younger sister and brother, hoping that at least this time they had seen her technique.
Luckily they had this time.
"GOOD, SISTER! GOOD! GOOD! GOOD!" Arcee praised cheerfully her sister for her success.
"I'm giving you the full score, sister!" Mikey declared as he and Arcee held up their fingers to give the 'full score' for Mary's technique.
However, they were all holding up their all six fingers.
"Aw! C'mon, guys! Is that the highest score you got? I worked so hard with that move, and all I get is only a six points per turtle?" Mary complained, somewhat (or playfully) disappointed of such of low number of scores as if she had been expecting more points.
Mary then turned to look at her sister particularly.
"Even you, my Arcee?" Mary teased with the smirk, mimicking Julius Caesar's famous last words, before the turtle in turquoise swiftly bent her head down to duck from behind of her shell-back attacking Dragon's swing with the baseball bat, before she stood back upright and struck with her right fist the Dragon in the face without even looking at him, knocking him down and out.
Arcee shrugged. "Sis, If I only had more, I could have given you a full score." she apologized, before she narrowly dodged the new thug's punch that was aimed to her faces. The thug tried to punch her again with his right fist, but Arcee managed to grab from his wrist with her left hand as she turned around and elbowed the Dragon in the chest with her right elbow, making the Dragon to gasp. The turtle in pink then grabbed with both hands from the thug's seized arm and pulled him over her shell-back and to the ground.
"Yeah, sis. You can't blame the turtle born with three fingers." Mikey joked, before he turned to the next attacking thug with the pipe and disarmed him quickly with one strike of his Nunchaku to the thug's knuckles, making him yelp in pain and to drop his weapon from his hand, before Mickey kicked him in the chest, kicking him away.
The turtles and Casey kept fighting the remaining Purple Dragons, fending off attacks and delivering the punishments, easily overpowering the majority of them.
The remaining Dragons still on their feet were eventually struck by fear of getting pummeled by the turtles and Casey, so they dropped their weapons and started to run back towards the trees and bushes, whining like cowards and squealing like the girls. However, their escape was cut short as Arcee switched her Tessens into her Yumi bow and began to shoot the arrows at the fleeing Dragons, managing to release four arrows with three a quick but accurate aim. One arrow managed to pin one fleeing Dragon from his shirt's sleeves and his vest to the tree. Second one pinned the second thug from his pants' suspenders to another tree. Third pinned the female Dragon from her coat's skirt to the tree as she ran past one. However, to the tree pinned jacked suddenly pulled her back and she fell on her back to the ground. And the last one arrow pinned fourth thug from his chain around his waist (which serves as belt to his pants) to the tree. Louie, wanting to catch some Dragons himself too, threw more of his Bolas as well as both his Manriki-guasri chains after the runaways. His chain-weapons managed to caught at least two-three runners per each, one tying them around of one distant tree and another tied them around of the park's lamppost. His Bolas, however, managed to tie themselves around of two runner's legs and arms together, sending them flying over to the ground.
And finally, Leo faced the group's leader, the dragon-faced leader thug. The leaders of the respective groups glared each other grimly with their narrowed eyes before they engaged each other to one-to-one duel.
The duel seemed to be initially equal between the two of them . The dragon-faced thug first tried to hit Leo with his pipe, but Leo blocked it with one Katana before the turtle in blue countered the leading thug's attacks with a couple off slashes with his swords at the thug's pipe. The dragon-faced thug then tried to jab Leo hard in the stomach, but Leo turned his blades upside down in his hands and turned the thug's pipe away to his right. This left Leo's guard slightly open, allowing the thug leader to punch him into face with his right fist, knocking him back. The thug leader then swung his pipe at Leo again but turtle in blue dodged it with the jump backwards. The thug leader then attempted to swing the pipe towards Leo's left knee to break it, but Leo blocked it with his left Katana and lifted the thug's pipe up before pushing it back with the slash against it with his right sword. The leading thug then raised the pipe up and brought it down on Leo, which the turtle in blue fended off by crossing his swords blades into X to block the thug's weapon. Both Leo and the thug tries to push one another back, until Leo managed to push him back.
As the the dragon-faced thug leader attempted to attack Leo again, Leo sent two powerful slashes at his enemy's pipe from below, that smoothly chopped half of the pipe into two pieces that fell off from the rest of it, much to the thug's surprise.
"Uh, oh." Dragon-face gulped as he looked up and saw Leo jumping at him and sending a kick right at his chest, sending the defeated leader thug flying to the ground along with the rest of his defeated gang.
After the battle, the turtles and Casey stood triumphantly over the beaten gang, as its members were lying battered, unconscious and moaning in pain in the ground. Those ones who were restrained with Louie's Bolas, pinned to the trees by Arcee's arrows or tied up to the tree and lamppost with Louie's Manriki-Gusari chains were struggling to get free from the chains but no avail.
"That's it then!" Leo declared. "These Purple Dragons are finished."
"Losers!" Mikey teased. "You're no match for mean-in-green!"
"Now we only need to make a phone call to the police and inform them about the mess in the Central Park which they must clean off." Dom voted, to which all of them agreed.
"The sooner they are away from the street, the better." Donnie agreed.
"And thanks for all of this belongs to Donatello, the King of the Geeks and his wicked Shell Cycles." Louie stated, praising Donnie with a flattering tone. "Without him and his inventions, me and Raph would never have been able to bring the end to the crazy vigilante's rampage and bring the berserk himself back to his senses." Louie added as he referred Casey.
Raph and Louie then turned to Casey with a smile. "I know I'm gonna regret saying this, but... I'm glad we met you, crazy man." the turtle in red admitted.
"Me too. You're not so bad after all, Case." Louie admitted.
"Me too, green domes." Casey admitted as well. "And you know something? I'm starting to see what you and your pal were all about." he added as the vigilante placed his hand over Raph's shoulder.
Both Louie and Raph were a bit surprised but also delighted of hearing that.
"Oh, you mean about balance? Self-control?" Raph questioned.
"If you do, then well done." Louie praised with the smile. "We're glad that you understand now that there is no need to go in all berserk when trying to do the right thing, despite the scars from the past."
However, Casey denied this with the smirk.
"Nah! Not that! I'm still gonna hold on on my traits and views. But what I meant was that you're both a green mutant freaks and whack-bags at the same time" Casey laughed and punched playfully both Raph and Louie in the arms. "But that's okay 'cause I like ya."
The trio then started laughing and exchange playful punches to each others chest and arms.
"Knock it off, pal!" Raph said as he punched him back.
"Ha! Gotta say that I like you and your traits too, wacko." Louie added, punching Casey to the chest.
"Hey! Who you call a wacko? COME HERE, YOU TWO..." Casey said as he tackled both Raph and Louie to the ground.
The trio then began wrestle with each other on the ground.
"Hands off my shell, bonehead!" Raph demanded during of playful wrestle.
"No way, green dude! Take that!" Casey said as he playfully pinned Raph down and gave him a punch, until he was tackled by Louie.
"You think you're tough-guy, wacko? Do you?!" Louie exclaimed while wrestling with Casey.
"Look into the mirror, pussy frog!" Casey shot back as he knocked Louie off him.
"We already told you, maniac! We're turtles! Haven't you learned anything at school!" Raph spat back, reminding their new friend of their accurate species as he tackled Casey again and pinned him down to the ground.
"Whatever!" Casey scoffed as he turned over, grabbed from Raph's head and pulled him down before the turtle in red was able to deliver him another playful punch.
As the trio continued their wrestle, the rest of the turtles looked down on them, feeling a bit embarrassed for their brothers' behavior.
Leo then turned to Mickey. "They are your brothers." he claimed in attempt to spare himself from embarrassment.
Mikey immediately denied this. "No, no, no, no. no. They're her brothers." he claimed, pointing at Mary.
"Don't look at me. They're Dom' brothers." the turtle in turquoise claimed as she pointed with her thump at Dom next to her.
"Nope, nope, nope, nope! They definitely aren't mine. They're his brothers." Dom denied, pointing back at Mikey.
"DEFINITELY, his brothers." Leo agreed.
THE END
TRIVIA
(1) My modified version of the cry "Let's rock and ride" from the Biker Mice from Mars series. I kinda felt that scene needed that.
(2) I was originally gonna use the word "Fuckface", but I decided to use that final version (even though it too is an ugly word) at the last moment.
(3) That one is based on a common comedy trope, in which a character's ugliness is frequently conveyed by his (or her) smiling into a mirror, and the mirror cracks as a result.
