Author's note: Hello again. I'm sorry that it has taken so long to update this story again, but it sometimes requires both enough free time of my own and another boost of motivation, while I'm sometimes being distracted from this story to my other things. Oh, well. Here we can at least continue this story with a whole new chapter, and I hope that you enjoy it till the next chapter.

tmnt101107: Hewe we go with the new chapter. Patience will be rewarded.

Extra-Element19: I'm glad that you enjoy it. And about your last question, which of my OC turtles would become the Last Ronin? Artemisia is a good archer and a good field medic but she won't bring herself to take the life. Domenico is always there nagging about everything and he holds mostly back from using violence. Marietta trains nearly as hard as Leo and wields her Naginata the same way Leo wields his Katanas and Donnie wields his Bo-staff and Lorenzo impulsively and foolhardedly charges towards any danger and enemy and earns the most of the scars and other injuries in the family. So I guess that from my OC turtles, Marietta would be the Last Ronin.

sonicflash78: I'm very glad you like my story so far and I'm glad that you have taken a personal like for Lorenzo and Artemisia. There will be more for both of them in the future.

animegamefanatic: Hmmm. Perhaps. Perhaps Master Splinter and Ellie Bridge could meet each other at some point and bond over of being the single parents/legal guardians over their children. Who knows.

CT311998: This was originally gonna be two-part saga, bue due to it getting so long already with the long chapters, I decided to make this three-part saga. Thanks by the way for inspiring me to make it this way.

- My name is Lorenzo, but call me Louie.

In the sewer tunnels, during of their training session two weeks ago, Dom, Raph and Mikey were walking down the tunnel while searching for Louie after the latter ditched them and went on his own.

- Two weeks ago something very special happened to me, after I, kinda, ruined mine and my bros' chances to get pass of our latest training session.

But during of their search, Dom got attacked by the figure that lunged at him from archway behind him and pulled him into the tunnel's darkness.

Another figure came after Mikey, clamping a hand around his mouth to silence him before dragging Mikey into a hole in the floor.

Raph turned around but got whacked in his plastron shell by the wooden staff that sent him flying to the muddy and slimy floor with the SPLASH.

Louie dropped down from above behind the figure to surprise her but was immediately stopped and apprehended by the blade of the sword held against his throat by second figure.

- Sensei put us to train for doubled hours for our failure, which is why the others, who just couldn't handle the truth that they're all equally to blame for our team's failure, turned their shells on me.

In the Lair, after being reprimanded by Splinter, Raph and Dom shot an angry glares at Louie before turning their shells on him, walking away, with Mikey following them reluctantly, prompting Louie to leave the Lair himself.

Louie: "Fine! I know when I'm not needed here!"

- So I went outside to cool myself, until I coincidentally ran to our old friend, Angel and her grandmother, Ellie.

In the alley way, Angel and Ellie Bridge are being confronted by the brothers Johannes and Marcus Victor.

Johannes Victor: "Good evening, ladies. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sir Johannes Victor, and this is my brother and partner, Marcus Victor."

- By the time of my arrival, I found them almost getting kidnapped by these mobsters, led by these two goons.

The Bridges are captured by the brothers' associants: Helga, Henry, Leroy, the Twins Bud and Bob and Lou, who try to drag them to the awaiting car in the other end of the alley.

Johannes Victor: "Nothing personal, but... all I'm asking is that you come along nice and easy."

But before they're taken away, a disguised Louie comes to the rescue, starting with Lou, whom he throws against the garbage bin, knocking him out cold.

Louie bashed Henry in the face with the trash can lid, sending the thug flying to the ground. Then he grabs on him and lifts him up and over his head before throwing him off.

Louie then jumps in between the Twins Bud and Bob, who turn to look at him a moment before the turtle in black split-kicks them in the heads, knocking them back.

Going after Leroy, Louie ducks or blocks few of Leroy's punches before he grabs his left arm with both hands and pulls him over his shoulder, slamming him hard against the ground.

The last thug, Helga, tries to whack Louie with the nightstick, but Louie grabs from her wrist, preventing her from hitting him, before moving his left hand under Helga's arm and uppercutted/palm-struck her under the chin. Louie then elbows her in the chest before spin-kicking her in the head, sending the thuggish woman flying away.

- Beating all of them up was, if I say so myself, disappointingly easy... even if I got my head nearly blown off.

Marcus Victor then held Louie at gunpoint with his sawed-off double barrel shotguns, warning him not to come closer.

Marcus Victor: "One more step and I'll blast your head off!"

Nonetheless, Marcus pulled the triggers of his shotguns, shooting Louie in the head! The shells throw Louie's scarf and hat away in the disfigured shreds, leaving the turtle in black standing there without the head! Nearby, Angel and Ellie were watching this happening in the wide-eyed horror.

Angel: "LOUIE! NO!"

However, a moment later, Louie pushed his still-inact head out from the coat's collared neckline, revealing his face to all onlookers while grinning smugly.

Louie: "Hoo, hoo, Boy, do I love being a turtle with a retractable head! MISSED ME!"

Louie then grabbed from Marcus' shotguns before he fell over to his shell and pulled Marcus down with him, just before he somersaulted backwards and kicked the thug in the chest with both feet, sending him flying away.

With his Manriki-gusaris in hands, Louie threw them towards fleeing Johannes, wrapping them around his legs, allowing Louie to pull the legs from under the thug and cause Johannes to fall over.

Louie then dragged both Marcus and Johannes by their suits towards one of the trash cans nearby, before the turtle in black stuffs both goons head-first into the can, leaving only their feet outside.

- But the difficult part was to make Ellie to see mee as a good guy and accept me as I am.

Later the next morning at Angel and Ellie's house, when Ellie woke up, got up from the couch and the first thing she noticed was Louie sitting guard in the hall, she immediately freaked out by the turtle in black's appearance... to which Louie returned by pretenting to freak out himself of Ellie's reaction.

Ellie: "AAGGGGHH!"

Louie: "AGH!"

- It took a while, but she eventually did, after me and Angel explained our history together.

Little later, Louie, Angel and Ellie were sitting on the table while enjoying the breakfast, with the latter having calmed down and accepted Louie as who he is, while the turtle in black told to the Bridges about his and his family's secret life story... as well as his and Angel's first meeting.

- And as a gratitude, Angel requested me to call her out in two weeks... for our first and, in the end of our little argument over its nature, official date.

In the hall of the Bridges' home, Angel was holding in her hands a turquoise scarf, purple beanie and shades out for Louie to take them to cover his face since the previous ones were destroyed last night, before Louie and Angel began to discuss/argue over the nature of their hanging out planned in two weeks.

In the end of it, Angel gives a smooch to Louie's cheek, surprising him.

Angel: "It's a date, Louie. See you again in two weeks."

This left Louie's cheeks blushed and the turtle in black himself in stunned wide-eyed state, before the turtle in black touched the spot where Angel had kissed him with his fingertips and smiled.

- Turtle and human teen lady on the date? I love the sound of that.

Meanwhile, in the other part of the town, Johannes and Marcus, Helga, Henry, Leroy, the Twins Bud and Bob and Lou, all bruised and battered from the fight with Louie, were all gathered in the dark room illuminated by a single light that shined down from the ceiling.

The brothers and goons stood nervously under the light and in front of the desk, with very displeased Mr. Nosy sitting on the other side of it, wielding a silver-shiny revolver in his hand, making the gang in front of his desk severely restless.

CLICK!

- Everything seems to be good for me and Angel otherwise, but my ninja-instincts says that something bad is going on here, even as we speak.

Mr. Nosy: "Unfortunately, I have only five rounds here, meaning that I can afford for five shots. But I guess five will be enough to give some motivation to do the job better. But if otherwise... well... you'll never let me or my boss down... ever again."

Johannes Victor: "No, sir! PLEASE, DON'T SIR!"

Mr. Nosy takes the aim at everyone before him, ready to shoot.

- I just hope that what happened that night in the alley won't come back to haunt us... literally.

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!

(Cut to the wide shot.)
(Seven silhouettes of the turtles are seen running, jumping and flipping along the rooftops as the camera follows them. One of the turtles swings over them by the chain like Tarzan.)
(Then two narrower screens appear above and beneath of the rooftop screen, showing the repeating line of Leonardo and Donatello's masked faces above and the line of Raphael and Michelangelo's masked faces beneath, moving to the opposite direction.)
"I LOVE BEING' A..."

(Arcee then drops off the building, leaving the ninjas behind on the edge, while the screen pans down to a boarded doorway before the Battle Shell crashes through it, allowing the turtle in pink land on its roof.)

(The screen then pans to the back of the Battle Shell as it is chased by two ninjas on the bikes until the back doors fly open and Lorenzo jumps out, landing on his shells to the street, somersaulting back to his feet and then diving towards the ninjas, knocking them both off the bike as he flies towards the camera.)

(Cut to the wide three-leveled shot. The sever level.)
(The silhouettes of two turtles are first seen running along the pipe: One turtle on foot while another one skating along the pipe's rounded walls.)
"I LOVE BEING' A..."

(Screen pans up to the street level.)
(The silhouettes of three turtles are moving down the street: One running on foot, the second one riding on the bike and third one hopping along the driving and parked cars.)
(Then two narrower screens appear above and beneath of the street screen, showing the repeating line of Marietta and Domenico's masked faces above and the line of Artimesia and Lorenzo's masked faces beneath, moving to the opposite direction.)
"I LOVE BEING' A..."

(Screen pans up to the rooftop level.)
(The silhouettes of two turtles are running and either jumping or pole-vaulting along the rooftops.)
"I LOVE BEING' A TURTLE!"

(Three turtles, Raphael, Leonardo and Domenico run on the street level, before Artemisia and Michelangelo jump out of the manholes and join the run in between Raphael and Leonardo, while Marietta and Donatello land down from the roof in between of Domenico and Leonardo. All seven run towards the camera that goes through of Leo's legs again.)
"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!"

(The camera then pans upwards, showing Lorenzo jumping off the rooftop, spinning the chain over his head before throwing it away and then swings by it over the camera in Spiderman-style.)
"TURTLES COUNT IT OFF:"

(A small square screen then appears from the left, showing Leonardo's shadowy yet calm face. Another appears next to it from above, showing Donatello's shadowy yet determined face.)
"ONE! TWO!"

(Third appears from beneath, showing Michelangelo's shadowy goofy face. Then the fourth appears from the right, showing Raphael's shadowy yet fierce face with the gritted teeth.)
"THREE! FOUR!"

(A fifth square then screen then appears from the left, showing Marietta's shadowy calm face. Sixth then appears next to it from above, showing Domenico's shadowy yet deeply frowning face.)
"FIVE! SIX!"

(Seventh appears from beneath, showing Lorenzo's shadowy wildly hilarious face. Then eighth appears from the right, showing Artemisia's shadowy yet determined face with the smile.)
"SEVEN! EIGHT!"
(TURTLES!)

(All eight turtles are seen jumping down from the tall blue tower with the red Japanese palace atop of it, which towers over all the other buildings. The weapons in hands, the turtles spin in a circle (First Leonardo, then Marietta, then Raphael, then Lorenzo, then Donatello, then Domenico, then Michelangelo and finally Artemisia) as they fall towards the camera)
"THERE'S NO ONE BETTER"
(TURTLES!)

(In the ledge of the same tower, that is above of the blood-red three-toed symbol, the Shredder in his full samurai-looking armor and helmet is seen staring down after them, as his black cape blows in the wind and the lightning flashes in the sky behind him. The camera moves closer his face, before the Shredder turns towards the camera and raises his left arm with the gauntlet armed with two sharp claws.)
"WATCH OUT FOR THE SHREDDER"
(TURTLES!)

(The turtles are seen standing in middle of the rooftop, with the weapons in hand. They briefly demonstrate their weapons-skills before taking their individual fighting poses: Donatello is seen standing in the middle, pointing his staff at the camera, while Raphael and Lorenzo are standing on his right, Marietta and Michelangelo on his left and Domenico, Artemisia and Leonardo behind of them.)
"THEY'RE LIKE NO OTHERS!"
(TURTLES!)

(The turtles are seen riding/skating on the various human equipment along the tunnel. Donatello is in the lead, wheeling past the camera with his purple-gray foldaway bike.)
(Leonardo follows him on foldaway kick scooter with the blue board, hopping over the handlebar with his hands.)
(Marietta follows right behind on her turquoise-tuned roller skis, making the high backward flip over the camera.)
(Domenico follows on the white-tuned road bicycle, while giving the wave at the camera.)
(Raphael and Artemisia roller-skate along the wall of the tunnel with their red roller blades and pink roller-skates.)
(Lorenzo skates after them with his longboard avocado green and black skateboard with the pair of rocket boosters.)
(Last but not least, Michelangelo skates higher and higher along the wall with his orange skateboard, before he jumps off it and lands in front of the camera with the smirk before skating away.)
"THOSE TEENAGE SIBLINGS!"

(First Donatello, then Domenico, then Leonardo, then Marietta, then Raphael, then Lorenzo, then Michelangelo, and finally Artemisia land onto the rooftop, weapons in hands.)
"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!"
"FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!"

(Either spinning or waving their weapons, the turtles then charge towards the camera, with Leonardo taking the lead and slashing his swords forward.)
"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES"

Then the logo of "TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES" appears, with the silhouetted figures of the eight turtles with the glowing eyes behind of it.
"TURTLES! TURTLES!"

= TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2003 =
= THE GIRL AND THE TURTLE PART 2 P1. =

Nearly two weeks later.

The last two weeks went quite smoothly and routinely in the Lair, where the mutant family just went on their own everyday chores: Leo practicing his kata-moves with his Katanas, Mary practicing with her Naginata and doing meditative balancing feats at the rail of the bridge, Donnie busying himself fixing things in his lab with Dom lending him a helpful hand, Raph punching his bag, Arcee reading the medical books in the armchair at the entertainment area, and Mikey relaxing on the couch, loudly wolfing down pizza and watching movies, which is why Arcee had to use the earplugs to block the noise from disturbing her.

But Louie... much to the other mutant family's surprise confusion, Louie had taken his two weeks sewer arrest rather coolly unlike usual. Sure he got to spend time with his siblings when either watching the TV or practicing with Splinter in the Lair's Dōjō, even though he was unable to leave the Lair with his siblings for the supply runs in the sewers or junkyards or the night time runs on the city's rooftops for thirteen days. Instead, Louie spend his time in his room, either playing a basketball with his set of practice dummies, playing music and singing karaoke in his own personal karaoke club, throwing his throwing weapons at the target boards and the villains pictures or maintaining his throphy collection on the wall.

All of this was due to Louie keeping himself busy and distracted by boredom, which was further fueled by the knowledge that once his sewer arrest ended, he had a date night with Angel on the surface. And while waiting for that night to come with excitment, the turtle in black tried to be as patient as he could.

The others could only wonder that what's got into Louie that he was taking the usually boring sewer arrest so lightly without complaining about it as he usually does along with Mikey, but the turtle in black simply refused to tell them what he had got in mind... except by telling them they just needed some motivation to get them through the two weeks of boredom, including something with which to distract himself/herself from it.

Later that night, Louie was at the entertainment area, sitting lazily on the armchair, with his left leg over the left armrest and his right arm over the right armrest. The turtle in black was holding in his right hand a calendar notebook in which he has marked with a red X the number of days during which he has spent undergrounded.

At least thirteen days out of two weeks had been marked on it, and today was the fourteen and the last day of being grounded. And tomorrow will be the day... or night... when he was going to hang out late night with Angel after she too got out of her own house arrest.

That is why Louie was holding in her left hand a picture of Angel he was holding in his left hand in front of him... and he looked at it and Angel in it in deep silence, resting his right cheek onto his right fist while wearing a rather dreamy look on his face.

"One day left, Angel-cake, and then it is our night." Louie whispered to the picture.

Suddenly, a moss green finger and thumb appeared from above and locked the picture between of them before yanking it out of Louie's hand, making the turtle in black to blink his eyes in surprise of this unexpected move.

"Whatta! Hey!" Louie complained as he jumped upright in the armchair and looked up, seeing Dom leaning over the back of the chair and looking down at Louie, while holding the picture of Angel in his left hand.

"Louie! What else are you still doing up here? It's 02:00 a.m. unless you forgot to check the time from the clock." the turtle in white demanded as he walked around the armchair and right in front of his little brother.

"Like I wear the watch, bro." Louie said with the frown as he lifted up his arm and pointed at his empty wrist with his finger to make his point clear.

Dom rolled his eyes at Louie making his point clear... or likely to himself for completely forgetting that none of them doesn't even wear the watch. And they don't even have a wall clock or cabinet clock in the entertainment zone like his had always suggested to his siblings to get one but no one had been listening.

"Yeah. What was I thinking." he muttered sarcastically, before the turtle in white turned back to Louie and waved Angel's picture in his hand.

"But back to the business. Why you even have the picture of Angel in your posession? And care to explain that dreamy look on your face while looking at this?" the turtle in white demanded, looking at his brother with the suspicious frown on his face.

Louie jumped up from the armchair and glared at Dom for intruding his private area, which he should've seen coming.

"None of your business, Dom!" Louie said back, before he reached out his arm. "Hand over the picture."

"No dice, bro." Dom said back, pulling the picture away from Louie's reach. "I want to know what's got into you lately. Just tell me what and I'll hand this photo back to you and let this matter pass."

Louie narrowed his eyes at his brother. "You do know I can take you on and down with ease, right?" the turtle in black warned with soft but serious voice.

Dom, however, didn't care about Louie's threat but kept staring at his brother sternly while keeping Angel's photo away in case Louie tried to make the move for it.

"You know, bro... me and the rest of the guys have been wondering of your behavior lately, mostly of you taking your sewer arrest quite lightly instead of complaining out of boredom as usual." Dom pointed out.

"Yeah. Got the time of my own for a while after I got bored to spend the time with you guys." Louie shrugged with his usual sarcasm.

The turtle in black, however, reverted quickly back into the seriousness of the matter in hand. "And why do you care about that anyway? You've always hated it when me and Mikey whine over the boredom. Shouldn't you be celebrating that I'm not whining about being undergrounded even for once?"

"Maybe I should be, but I'm just curious." Dom replied. "Because this kind of behavior isn't like you at all, Louie."

"Doesn't matter, Dom. Don't be like throwing yourself onboard of the moving subway train car in a daredevil move is unlike is your thing." Louie shot back, getting more and more irritated every second that Angel's photo wasn't back in his possession.(1)

"Because it isn't... not by the long shot." Dom confirmed. "But I can tell you that you're once again up to something, aren't you, bro? You're acting like you're distracting yourself with all the stuff you're doing down here while not being able to join us on the supply runs or midnight runs on the surface. Otherwise you wouldn't be acting this kinda way at all."

Dom then held Angel's photo towards Louie, narrowing his eyes. "Does this photo have something to do with that, Louie? Does she has something to do with your behavior of late? You guys have something going on between of you, don't you? That dreamy look on your face could tell more than one thousand words, you know" the turtle in white inquired.

The realization of Dom trying to get the information about his and Angel's date-night tomorrow pushed Louie off the edge.

"Like I told you, Dom! That's none of your business!" Louie demanded. "Now gimme that!"

Next thing that happened was that Louie literally threw himself at Dom, reaching out both of his hands towards the picture in attempt to take it back from Dom, even if the turtle in white pulled it as far as he could from Louie's reach, even if he had to keep the turtle in black back by his head with his right hand and by his chest with his right leg.

"Why is this so important to you, Louie?!" Dom demanded while holding his brother at bay.

"Just gimme that photo, Dom!" Louie demanded.

"Not till you tell me what is going on with you!" Dom said. "Just tell me what you and Angel are up to and I will!"

"URGH!" Louie snorted exasperatedly, not wanting to tell his snooping brother anything about affairs between of him and Angel.

The turtle in black tried one more time to reach for the picture with his hands, but Dom just managed to keep him back, which was quite surprise due to the fact that Dom happened to be physically their team's weakest fighter... and with his skills somewhat at the same level with Donnie.

This was when the realization dawned to the turtle in black that he was just trying to reach to the photo, not actually fighting with Dom physically.

But that was gonna change now.

"Alright, that's it!" Louie exclaimed.

The turtle in black then pulled his right hand back and reached with it for his Manriki-Gusar which he pulled from his belt. He swung his chain's end downwards and wrapped it around of Dom's right leg, catching the turtle in white's attention.

"Whatta...?" Dom gasped as he looked down at his leg.

But before he could react, Louie stopped struggling with him for the picture and stepped away from him, but immediately jumped into the air and flew over the pipe that went over the entertainment area, dragging the rest of the chain behind him. Once he landed on his feet to the floor, Louie grabbed from his chain with both hands and pulled from it.

"Wow!" Dom shouted as his leg was pulled from under, causing him to fall over to the ground, until Louie lifted him off the ground by the chain, high enough that his head was in his own head's level.

And to add the insult to injury, Louie tied the other end of his chain around of the pillar and knotted it, leaving the turtle in white dangling upside down in the air.

"Hey! Whatta...! L-Louie! Get me down! Get me down from here at once! Did you hear me, you shell-for-brains!" Dom demanded.

After securing the knot in his chain, Louie walked up to Dom, but he wasn't obviously going to help him down.

"I did warn you, Dom. Didn't I?" The turtle in black said, before he swiftly took Dom's Tonfas off his belt.

"Hey! Tho-those Tonfas are mine! Don't you dare to touch them! Give them back and and help me down from here!" Dom demanded angrily.

"Look who's talking, bro. That's coming from someone who took something of mine without giving it back even if asked nicely." Louie spat as he drobbed one of Tonfas off to the floor but kept the other one in his right hand. "And you don't need them to get yourself free and down from there."

Then the turtle in black snatched Angel's photo back from Dom's hand with his left one as he walked in front of his upside down hanging brother.

Louie then held both Angel's photo and Dom's own Tonfa's end right in front of his face.

"And from now on, Dom, you keep your digits off my possessions, especially from this photo, of which no one has a right to touch or inquire about information that ain't your business. No one, repeat, no one, touches this photo! Period. Exclamation Mark. Louie demanded with low and stern voice, before unexpectedly and lightly poking Dom in the beak of his nose with his own Tonfa.(2)

"OW!" Dom yelped in pain before wrapping his hands around his nose.

Satisfied of having made his point clear with his brother, Louie pulled back from Dom before teasingly letting his other Tonfa to drop off his hand to the floor, right beneath of him.

Dom tried to reach out with his hands to his Tonfa to lift it off the floor and use it to free himself from Louie's chain to get down here, but his weapon happened to be just few inches out of his fingertips' reach. He tried to fight Louie's chain to loosen the knot he had made around the pillar to lower himself down enough to reach his Tonfa, but Louie's knot held firm and all his struggle could do was to make him swing back and forth.

And to further add the insult to injury, Dom was briefly taken off-guard and blinded by the camera flash. Looking on, Dom realized that Louie had got into his hands a polaroid camera and taken a picture of Dom hanging upside down from the pipe by his leg while vainly trying to reach to his weapon lying just beneath of him and out of his reach.

"There!" Louie said as he took the picture out of the camera and teasingly but triumphantly waved it at Dom to see it. "Another perfect trophy from my defeated enemy to add in my collection! You like it, bro?"

"Very funny, Louie. Verry funny." Dom growled sarcastically.

"Now..." Louie said, as he put the camera away before turning back to Dom. "Have a good time getting yourself down from there, Dom, however long that will take, while I'll retire into my room for the night. G'night." Louie wished teasingly and was just about to walk away from the entertainment area until the turtle in black suddenly remembered something.

"Oh! I almost forgot! Thank you for so kindly reminding me of what time it is, Dom. Unfortunately, I never remember to look at the clock myself, so without you I would have been here for quite a long time until the wee hours of the morning. Thanks for that." the turtle in black thanked.

"You're not welcome, bro." Dom grumbled.

"Well... Good night, bro. Don't stay up too late you either." Louie advised before he kept walking away, holding his chuckle back with the hand over his mouth.

"Well, I wouldn't if you just would get me out of here!" Dom yelled after his brother, but Louie pretended of not hearing him and kept going. "Did you hear me! Louie! Come back! I know you can hear me! Get back here at once! Come on, get me down from here! Louie?! You can't leave me up here! Come on, this isn't funny! SOMEBODY GET ME DOWN FROM HERE! GUYS! ANYONE! HELP! I'M GOING TO REMEMBER THIS LOUIE!"

Geez, whatta whining baby." Louie muttered while shaking his head, before the turtle in black jumped against the pillar beneath of his room's doorway and then jumped against the adjacent pillar. Louie proceeded then starting to jump along both pillars from one to the other and back, until he grabbed from the edge of the upstairs and backward-flipped himself over the edge and right in front of his room.

"Damn, I'm good!" Louie said self-praisingly.

Louie let out the loud yawn while stretching his arms and then walked in his room to have some good night rest.

Tommorrow night was going to be a big day.

###

Next night

After both Louie and Angel had gotten out from their respective house (or sewer) arrests, the two eventually met each other at the agreed spot (which was the manhole in the alleyway, away from the public eyes) as planned and were at the moment walking side by side in New York City's Central Park.

Angel was in her usual turquoise hooded sweater and crimson pants, while Louie himself was wearing a completely different disguise to hide himself from the people:

This time he was wearing a spiky blonde wig and green shades over his eyes. He was also wearing a white-lined red tank top shirt and over it a black hoodie and sand-brown pants. And for the further pre-caution, Louie had also brought along a black scarf to cover his face if needed.

However, there wasn't too many people in the Central Park, so he didn't need to wear the scarf around his face. Instead, he carried it around his neck, with its ends loosely hanging in each side of his head.

And there they just walked randomly along the park trails, under the lights if the lampposts, while talking to each other.

"No good news in the sewer frontier, eh, Lover Boy?" Angel asked teasingly from Louie.

Louie chuckled at the remark before opened his mouth to respond. "Well, being undergrounded is not that bad and boring as you might think, Angel-cake, if you compare it to the nature of the surface world's style of being grounded."

"Oh? And how's that, Louie?" Angel questioned.

"Well, according to my master, being undergrounded might mean less to zero surface time - which he generally disapproves of - and less trips in the sewers and underground tunnels with my siblings and more time training and honing my ninjutsu-skills in the Lair, but that doesn't mean I can't do whatever I want between the training sessions." Louie explained.

"So what do you usually do while you're not grounded?" Angel asked again. "Eat a lot of pizza? Watch TV day and night?"

Louie raised an eye-brow at these suggestions, initially confused. "Who told you that?"

Angel, thinking that Louie was hiding the truth, crossed her arms and gave the turtle in black the look that told him 'you know what I mean'.

"Casey told me." she revealed. "He said that you turtles like to wolf down a lots of pizza and stare at TV non-stop each day when you guys are not training." Angel then leaned closer and put her hand over her mouth to add something in whisper. "And he also added that you guys happen to have a very serious secrecy problems."

Louie stared at Angel wide-eyed for a short moment, before he bursted out into a wheezed laughter for what Angel had claimed Casey having told about them to her.

"Well, the latter part is mostly true, given by the ninja turtle who hides within the shadows and sewers and battles robots, crooks, ninjas etc... but the former part..." Louie scoffed, as a memory came back in her mind. "You should've seen Casey when we gave him an access into our Lair one time. He messed up our Dōjō like a bull in a china shop. He nearly wolfed down our entire pizza store in one night and took the TV all to himself, not allowing us to watch out own shows."

"That's not what he told me." Angel said with the confused frown.

Louie shrugged, knowing what that meant. "He is such a bonehead who's too stubborn to see fault in himself but wants to protect his own pride... just like me and Raph do all of time."

"I see." Angel said with the small chuckle caused by Louie's speaking style.

"Well, back to your question..." Louie said, getting back to the earlier topic. "I usually spend my time in my room where I can be by myself and do as I wish, such playing butt-kicking basketball match with my practice dummies, practicing my aim with my dartboards describing several villains me and my siblings have been battling of late, taking care of my collectibles on my wall, which is my favorite chores in my own personal space, or I just play some cool musics of mine in my personal karaoke club, while dancing along the musics' rythms and singing along."

"Wow." Angel said, rather impressed. "You surely know how to make yourself entertained even if being, as you said yourself, undergrounded."

"Well, Whad'Ya Know." Louie shrugged. "Let's just say that being bored and the boring life are my boggarts."(3)

The two laughed at this remark for a moment, before they resumed their walk in peaceful silence for a moment.

"So, Angel? My turn to ask. How things have been with you the past two weeks?" Louie asked, turning to look at Angel.

Angel merely shrugged her shoulders at the question, though she kept her gaze forward as if thinking how she could describe it.

"Well, how can you say it, Louie. Unlike with you, I got nothing too amazing happening to me in the last two weeks." she said simply.

"Nothing?" Louie asked again, slightly surprised by the answer.

"Nothing." Angel repeated, slightly shaking her head.

However, Louie knew better than to be satisfied with that answer, but it wasn't because he wanted to know more about Angel's actions during the two weeks.

No. He had much more serious reasons related to what happened that night in the alley two weeks ago.

"You sure there's been nothing, Angel? Not even anything suspicious moving around your home street during that time?" Louie asked again.

"Why do you ask, Louie?" Angel asked, not getting at what Louie was talking about.

"Well, I've been pondering about that for the last two weeks since my little showdown with those two crooks, Johannes Victor and Marcus Victor, their names were." Louie clarified.

"Oh... that?" Angel said, quickly remembering her and her grandmother's encounter with those two in that alley before Louie showed up to kick their butts. "What about them?"

"Well, since those two crooks with their pals happened to be at your home neighborhood that night and they seemingly knew you via your former affliction with the Dragons, I was pretty much sure that they might come back for you after they got away back then." Louie explained. "Master Splinter also believes that this could mean serious trouble for you and your grandmother, which is why my siblings have been keeping an eye on your home area for anything suspicious. I've kept asking them if anything was fine with you and Ellie, but thanks to me being undergrounded, they have kept me mostly in the dark about the details."

Angel almost scoffed. "Oh, I almost wish something like that had happened!"

Louie now turned fully at Angel, raising an eyebrow behind his shades. "Oh?"

"Yeah. You see, Louie, I've been quite bored of late, and not just these last two weeks in the house arrest, but ever since I returned back to my grandma after we saved Casey from the Dragons' Lair. I do love been back with my family and I love spending some time with my grandma, but there are times when my boredom reaches to the point when I actually miss being free, being independent and being on the run on the streets. I don't mean any disrespect to my grandmother, but I still find the lifestyle on the streets much better, more exciting and interesting than the dead boring middle class society." Angel confessed.

"Is that so?" Louie questioned.

"Yeah." Angel replied simply with the nod.

"Well..." Louie said, rubbing his chin for a moment while thinking something to say to this.

That was, until a sly grin appeared on his lips when he got something in mind.

"Well, good luck with your plan to escape the boredom by running away from home again and rejoining the Dragons in hopes of an "exciting" street life." Louie said.

"Thank you, Louie. I'm gonna..." Angel said gratefully, though initially completely ignorant of what Louie had just told her, but when she realized what Louie had actually said after thinking for a moment...

"HEY!" Angel exclaimed with the narrowed look as she turned at Louie, frowning with annoyance for the prank he'd pulled on her.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!" Louie bursted into hearty laughter. "CAN'T BELIEVE SUCH OF STREET-SMART GIRL LIKE YOU ACTUALLY FELL FOR IT!"

"Not funny, Louie!" Angel said, slightly offended for him tricking her, before she picked up a dropped drink can from the ground and three it at Louie, making it bounce off the right side of the turtle in black's head, while he continued laughing at her.

"JUST KIDDING! JUST KIDDING!" Louie said, still laughing, while holding his hands out in surrender.

"Good luck with your plan to escape the boredom by running away from home again and rejoining the Dragons in hopes of an "exciting" street life." Angel said. repeating Louie's words by mockingly mimicking his voice by deepening her voice, though it still sounded a bit high-pitched.

This earned her just more laughter from Louie, which the turtle in black was now seriously trying to suppress by putting his hand over his mouth to shut himself up, though a low wheezing laughter still managed to get through.

"Yeah, right! Thanks for the great idea, Louie." Angel, now with her normal voice, spat at Louie's suggestion.

Getting the silliness out of his system by now, Louie cleared his throat so that he could speak more clearly. "Come on, Angel-cake. I was just joking... at your expense, of course."

"Well, that was not funny, Louie." Angel retorted. "Besides, you know that I cannot run away from home and worry my grandmother again. And rejoining the Dragons is out of the question: not only because I have permanently turned my back on them, their ways and their rules, but they also know my allegiances to you guys and Casey, their worst enemies. I'm definitely on the top of their wanted list now because of my defection, just like you said. And I bet that both Dragon Face and Hun would definitely want my head served on the tray if I show my face in their place ever again."

"Yeah." Louie agreed. "That last part is exactly what's been bugging me of late."

"Well, don't wet your shell at nights, Lover-boy." Angel said, before letting out a short giggle out of her mouth, amused by her own choice of words, before she quickly suppressed it with her hand, before clearing her throat and then continuing. "But like I told you, nothing like that has happened for the two weeks."

Angel then turned to Louie and looked at him in the eyes (only if she could've because of Louie's shades). "But truth to be told, Louie... I don't sometimes feel like myself back home than what I did on the streets when I was on the run from home."

"Mind to explain?" Louie said.

"Well, after I took Casey's words to heart and saw with my own eyes how violent and disregarding towards the others the Dragons were, I realized back then that "being the Dragon" is not the same thing as being, I don't know: Cool? Badass? That kind of the thing." Angel explained simply.

"So that's what you wanna be?" Louie inquired, taking an interest of Angel's apparent wishes. "Cool and badass at the same time, eh?"

"Yeah." Angel nodded.

"Ever since we met and I saw you and your siblings in action in the Dragon's Lair: your fearlessness, all those cool moves of yours, that butt-kicking action..." Angel listed, before taking the short break. "That's something what I'd like to call "cool" and "badass", Louie. And it sometimes makes me to wish that I was just like you and your siblings."

"Hmm." Louie muttered, thinking hard how to answer this to the best of his ability without making it another joke in Angel's expense.

At this point the two walked upon the bridge that went across the Central Park's lake, where Louie then hopped onto its railing and helped Angel to get onto the railing as well. There, the two, with Angel standing next to Louie on his right side, gazed upon the lake, on the smooth surface of which the reflection of the moon shone as brightly as it did in the sky over New York.

"Being a ninja turtle isn't as easy as you might think, Angel, as it requires almost a entire lifetime of hiding in the shadows and out of public's sight. And we're mostly "cool" and "badass" kind of the guys only then when we need to be, especially when this city, and the whole world, is full of the guys who wishes to do us harm in one way or another." Louie explained honestly.

"I know." Angel said with the nod.

"But hey..." Louie then said, slightly nudging Angel in the side with his elbow. "But hey, just because you think that we turtles are "cool" and "badass" just like you said, it doesn't mean that you can't be just as "cool" and "badass" in your own way. The way I saw you taking Casey down completely by surprise back then was really cool in badass-style, at least in my opinion."

Angel turned to look at Louie, raising an eyebrow in surprise when the turtle in black brough up that moment when Casey had confronted her about her choice to join the Dragons, in the end of which she'd knocked Casey down - and he never even saw that coming - before escaping from the scene.

"Geez! You were there to witness that whole thing?" Angel questioned.

"Ninja, remember?" Louie reminded. "We stick to the shadows, and are like the walls themselves have eyes and ears."

"Well..." Angel muttered with the shrug. "Thanks for compliment, anyway."

"You're welcome." Louie said.

The two then continued to stand silently on the railing of the bridge, while gazing at the lake, the city's tall buildings and the moon in the starry sky for a moment, before Louie turned back to Angel.

"Say, Angel? I might have a little solution to spice up your boring life." the turtle in black said.

"Really? I'm then all ears." Angel said, eager to hear what Louie had in mind.

"Well, we could do as we did that morning at your place. We could agree, you and I, to alternate all kinds of nice every night we agree to meet. I could show you what it's like to be a ninja turtle who lives free from all the rules of the surface world, and you can show me places you like to visit most." Louie suggested.

"Really?" Angel asked, intrigued by such of proposition. "Does that include some butt-kicking action like you guys always do?"

Any wise person would have immediately said that all kinds of the street fights and all the butt-kicking action with the punks, thugs and criminals at night-time would be strictly forbidden from Angel, but Louie, as a daredevil turtle who liked to throw himself into dangerous situations, wasn't at all that type of person, who would deny Angel access to such fun just because of her own safety... though it wasn't like Louie didn't care about Angel's safety.

"Yep. Even some butt-kicking ninja-action." Louie agreed. "So what do you say?"

Angel crossed her arms and put her right hand's finger over her chin, thinking over the proposition for a moment, though she gave Louie a look that told to the turtle in black that she was more than just happy to accept this... if it wasn't for some things she needed to first ask.

"Would your siblings and your... master... approve this?" she asked.

Louie, however, let out a scoff at that matter and waved his hand dismissively.

"Nah! The guys don't need to know anything about this. Besides, who even cares what they might think about this?" Louie said indifferently.

Angel gave Louie a look for this, not expecting him to say something like that about his siblings.

"And why's that?" Angel asked, curious about the turtle in black's attitude towards his siblings at the moment.

"Well, you see, Raph and Dom haven't been talking to me of late... well, at least they're not in the friendly terms with me, because they're still pretty much sulky about our team's failure in our last training session two weeks ago, for which Master Splinter made us to train double time for a next few months. Mikey's either taking or is made to take those two shell-for-brains' side over me just out of spite against me, and Leo, Donnie, Mary and Arcee have kept me in the dark about how the things have been with you and your grandma, though I don't know it is because of Master Splinter's orders or just because... I don't know. And Splinter doesn't need to know about this either, just as long as I still do my own training chores as ordered."

"So, you're going to keep this as a secret from your own family, huh?" she asked with the raised eyebrow and arms crossed.

Louie merely gave her a simple nod to confirm her thoughts, which earned him a wide mischievious grin from Angel.

"Aah, a young rebel turtle, eh? I like that Lover-boy." Angel said with the grin.

Angel then lifted her right hand up in front of her face and spat into her palm, before she extended her hand towards Louie.

"Very well, Louie, you got the deal. We'll take turns in choosing what kind of activity we'll have every other night." Angel said, waiting for Louie to take her hand to seal the deal.

Louie tilted his head slightly to the right with the raised brow as he looked down at Angel's held out hand with the spit in middle of her palm. The turtle in black then glanced up at the teen girl in front of him from under his eyebrows before giving her a wide smirk.

And then, without hesitating, not being disgusted by the idea of touching the slimy hand, and definitely wasting no time, Louie held up his own left hand in front of his mouth and spat into it a double dose than what Angel did, before he took Angel's hand - SPLATS! - and shook it, sealing their agreement.

"It's the deal." Louie said.

However, Angel then gave Louie a sly look before she suddenly tightened her hold of Louie's hand, to the turtle in black's surprise.

"However, with a few conditions..." Angel said, before the teen girl caught Louie by surprise by quickly grabbing fromhis hand with both hands before she spun herself around, pulling the turtle in black's left arm behind his shell-back and twisting it upwards, making Louie groan from the slight pain and surprise of such of move he never even saw coming.

Angel also at the same time turned Louie towards the outer edge of the bridge's railing before removing his right hand from Louie's hand - while holding Louie's arm twisted upwards with his left - and placed his right arm against Louie's neck, nearly pushing him over the edge and above of the water below, as if threatening to push the turtle in black into the lake.

"Think your next words carefully, Lover-boy, or I'll send you into a cold bath down below." Angel threatened teasingly.

"Oh! Note taken, Angel-cake!" Louie said with the strained voice through of his gritted teeth. "And your terms are?"

"One, you'll give me the honor to choose the first activity of next night." Angel started, twisting Louie's arm a little bit more. "After all, it's the "ladies first" rule that still defines everything in this to-the-turtle-so-unfriendly-world. Unless you got any problem with that."

"You choosing the first activity for the next night? No problem with that at all!" Louie groaned. "And the two?"

"And the two... uh..." Angel wavered as she paused for a moment to consider the second part of her terms before continuing. "Aaaaah... I've-I've taken a notice to that my street fighting skills are in serious need of some improvement. So, the second part of my terms is that you both share and teach me some secrets of those skills of yours, so that I can have my own fair share of the future butt-kicking with the punks, thugs, goons, Dragons and so on."

"Was that all?" Louie questioned.

"Pretty much." Angel said. "So what do you say Do you accept the terms or wanna rather go into a bath instead?" she teasingly asked.

While thinking over Angel's terms, Louie looked down at the waters below them, as well as at the reflection of himself balancing on the edge of the bridge for a moment.

But even though Louie had to admit to himself that Angel had got him by surprise, which he as a ninja should've seen coming beforehand, Louie smirked deviously - which he hid from Angel - as he came up with an idea to teach Angel a lesson that a one simple surprise move isn't enough to discourage a ninja full of surprises like just one.

"Angel-cake?" Louie said, looking at her over his shoulder. "I highly recommend you to think twice before doing this."

"What's the matter, Lover-boy? Does the turtle suffer from the aquaphobia? Gimme a break!" Angel scoffed in mock disbelief and laughter.

"You're right. That would be the biggest shame ever for me." Louie admitted, before giving Angel a sly smirk. "And you wanna learn some ninja tricks, huh?"

As Louie said this, the turtle in black secretly moved his right leg towards Angel's left leg and hooked his instep around of Angel's ankle without her noticing.

"Well, lesson number one!" Louie said, before the turtle in black swiftly pulled his leg back and at the same time swept Angel's own legs out from under.

"AH!" Angel yelped in surprise as she was about to fall over to the railing, and at the same time she let go of Louie's arm.

However, while balancing on the railing of the bridge - despite being on the verge of falling off the bridge due to being too close to the outer edge and falling into the waters below - Louie seized the opportunity and spun around and wrapped his right arm around Angel's waist before letting himself fall down, taking Angel with him.

"Aahhhh!" Angel screamed as they both fell into the water with the big splash!

SPLASH!

After a while, Louie and Angel surfaced under the bridge, both of their clothes and hair - or in Louie's case his wig - soaking wet.

"Hey! What gives!" Angel said while coughing and wiping the water away from her face.

Louie just shrugged. "Well, you wanted to learn a few secrets of the ninja to be better in the combat. And I already showed you the one."

"By throwing us off the bridge?" Angel questioned dryly. "How's that even a ninja trick?"

"Well, did you see that coming?" Louie asked.

"No, I didn't." Angel said, shaking her head.

"And did you notice me hooking my foot around of yours before I pulled your legs from under before that?" Louie asked again.

"No." Angel said with the quirked eyebrow.

"AND THAT'S THE POINT OF THE FIRST LESSON, Angel-cake!" Louie suddenly exclaimed. "Which is, never try to apprehend a ninja who's got a one thousand and one sneaky tricks under his sleeve... or his shell."

"Well, don't forget that I got you by surprise first, too, Lover-boy!" Angel threw back.

Louie shrugged his shoulders again. "Nah! Rookie's luck compared to the ninja-surprises. It takes years and years to hone such of clever tricks and skills." The turtle in black then held up a finger. "However, if you really want to, I can show and teach you some of them so that you can, as you said, to improve your street fighter skills."

Angel smiled in delight after hearing this. "You would do that, Louie? Really?"

"Sure!" Louie said. "After all, we did shook our hands, did we not?"

"Well, that was before I caught you off-guard and held you over the bridge railing, before I began to list some terms of mine: that I get to choose first the activity for the next night, and that you would show and teach me some of your tricks and skills." Angel reminded.

"Well..." Louie said, shrugging one more time. "Since we both got a cold bath under the bridge, you can consider those terms part of our agreement. You can make the first choice for the next night's activity, and I will teach you some basic ninja-tricks and skills in return in some nights."

"Oh, thanks, Louie." Angel said happily.

"You're welcome, Angel-cake." Louie said with the smile.

However, before the two could even consider of swimming back to the shore, Angel shot at Louie a sly smirk.

"Welcome THIS, Lover-boy!" she said until she suddenly splashed some water into Louie's face.

Louie, taken by surprise again, spluttered and coughed the water out of his mouth, while Angel bursted into a laughter at the turtle in black.

"Don't you think that we're both a bit too old for this thing?" Louie questioned.

"What's the matter?" Angel asked, before she partially submerged her head into the water while staring at Louie from under of her eyebrows, and when she pulled her head back up, she sprayed water out of her mouth into Louie's face, making the turtle in black to splutter and cough again. "Afraid to lose the water-war to the girl?"

"Oh, you sneaky little...! THE GAME'S ON!" Louie said, giving in to it.

And so, Angel and the turtle in black began to playfully splash water into each other's faces, laughing like the playing little kids.
