Chapter 66: Captain EX Change Up! Home Run Victory
"Bottom of the ninth, the bases are loaded. Two outs, and it's a chance to hit a grand slam. Can she do it? Announcer Goha Yuka, here with the recap!"
Yuamu was up and about, walking on two legs. Like Yuhi, she'd deduced she could revert to human form via Nyandestar's method, but no sooner had she gone to feline like herself again than she was boxed in by another "Yu" while looking for Yuhi and Yuga.
"Pitcher and owner of the Goha Astro Monsters: Goha Yuka-kun! (kun, kun, kun…)"
Goha? Come to think of it, the plaque said this stadium is called Goha Stadium, didn't it? In other words, this person…She's Yuna's…
Yuka's Duel Disk resonated with Yuamu's, the blade exiting a red "7." No Duel Disks had entered this configuration since the inventor of Rush Duels disappeared into hyperspace during his last Rush Duel with his fated enemy, so naturally, Yuka was intrigued. Neiru's readings knocked it out of the park.
Her blood was burning up. It'd been two years. The revisions she and her brothers made to the Duel Regulations emphasized a kids-first policy to maintain Yuga's ideals, but Goha Duels lacked the heart-pumping, "anything can happen" back-and-forth of a Rush Duel.
"You and Ohdo Yuga, you're connected somehow?"
It was worse for a time traveller from the future to interfere in the past than for a time traveller from the past to interfere in the future. Hiding her relation to Yuga was moot when Yuka already saw the identical sheen Asaka saw in her eyes.
"That's right. The name's Ohdo Yuamu." Yuamu decided to play ball.
"I pledge to fight fair and square."
"GO RUSH!"
"RUSH DUEL!"
Although their slogans were mismatched, Yuamu stepped up to the plate. "It's my turn. I draw! I summon Dragosite and α Burn Drake! I release them for an Advance Summon! Hundred Divine Dragon!" (Level 7 LIGHT Dragon/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)
"Ohdo-kun, starting out strong!"
"If I would draw until I have five cards during my Draw Phase, I draw one additional card! I set two cards. Turn end!"
Yuka took a couple swings with her baseball bat before dropping it and drawing. "My turn! Draw! Right off the bat, I activate a Field Magic! Hot-Blooded Spirits Stadium!"
The empty stands burst into flames and the feverous cheers of holographic sports fans.
"FIRE monsters' ATK go up by 400 during our turns only! I summon Zubaba Batter, Gagaga Outfielder, and Dododo Second! Then I pay 500 Life Points to activate Dododo Second's effect! This turn, when I Advance Summon a FIRE monster, this card counts as two releases! I'll send these two balls over the fence and construct a home run announcement! Advance Summon! "Batter up! Player #39: Junior Baseball King, Home attacks Hundred Divine Dragon! Kattobashingu! HOME RUN DOUBLE SLASH!"

"And the crowd goes WIIIILD!"
"In this instance, I'll activate RB Draphone! I send the top two cards of my Deck to the Graveyard! Then I can Special Summon Blue-Tooth Burst Dragon or Red-Boot Boost Dragon from my Graveyard! Rise and shine! Blue-Tooth Burst Dragon!" (Level 7 LIGHT Dragon/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)
"Hmph. Turn end."
"My turn now. Draw! I activate the Magic Card, High Tech Mining! I return Hundred Divine Dragon, Dragosite, and α Burn Drake to my Deck, and turn over my top three cards! If Booster Wyvern is among them, I add it to my hand, and the remaining two are shuffled into my Deck! I summon Booster Wyvern, and I deal you 600 damage with its effect!"

"Then I activate Dragon's Burst Fusion! I use Blue-Tooth and Booster Wyvern as materials to Fusion Summon! Blue as the sky and sea flies a miraculous dragon with a speed faster than wind or sound! Come out, Blue-Tooth Enhanced Burst Dragon!" (Level 9 LIGHT Dragon/Fusion/Effect ATK 3000 DEF 2000)
"A Fusion Summon? Ohhh, out of left field!"

"First Blue-Tooth, and now Red-Boot?"
