1,300 years have passed since Hiccup Haddock the Third, Optimus Prime and Toothless parted ways. The Dragons and Autobots go to the Hidden World, where Dragons have faded into legend now a new Generation of Dragon Riders will be born in the modern world.

15. Follow the Lighting: part 2

Here's the part 2 of the series. And I'll answer your questions afterwards. I do not own the Transformers or Dragons: The Nine Realms, they're own by Hasbro and Dreamworks.

Intro: (song) "Transformers! More than meets the eye! Transformers! Robots in disguise!" Optimus Prime with axe in hand, Tom, Jack and Thunder beside him breathing lightning. Ratchet with his hands transformed into swords fighting Deceptacons with D'Angelo, Miko and Plowhorn fighting beside him. Bulkhead bashing with his wrecking ball fist June and her dragon Wu and Wei fighting with ice and fire. Bumblebee with his right arm laser gun and left arm a sword with Alex, Raf and Feathers beside him. "Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Deceptacons!" Blizwing, destroying buildings. Lugnut lifting a bulldozer over his head. And Galvatron leading his army. The Team Prime and modern Dragon Riders lined shoulder to shoulder in the Hidden World. "Transformers! (Robot voice) Transformers!"

In the Hidden Realm, Thunder is sniffing the ground for tracks of his foe. As the Dragon Riders and Transformers were gathered, Tom speaks openly: "I just don't get it. Why would Thunder leave me, and come all the way out here just to get into a fight?" The Latino hacker answers: "I guess he keeps secret too. No wonder you guys get along?" She finishes sounding sarcastically but truthful in the meaning. D'Angelo, Whiplash and Tigertron, who are analyzing the surrounding area, D'Angelo says seeing the markings: "There is way too much lighting scorn, to be just Thunder." He turns around. "Something else was blasting lighting too." Tigertron adds: "Indeed. Judging by the density this is also more powerful. Basically something bigger and highly aggressive."

June speaks up: "Tom! Check this out. There are two sets of dragon prints." She starts putting her hands on the foot prints to tell the difference. "These look like Thunder's tracks, heading off in that direction." She points to her left. "And the others go into the cave." She points where the other track lead too, and Thunder growls. Tom whispers: "Thunder's family." He thinks for a moment and speaks normally. "That's it. The lighting we're chasing must've been a battle between Thunder's family and whatever's in there." D'Angelo feeling nervous says: "Ho man. That thing must've been pretty tough, if it was strong enough to knock out Thunder and to chase off his family." Jack speaks up as well: "We've seen, tougher dragons." Miko adds in agreement: "Yeah, remember the fault-ripper-Dragon? That thing was nasty dude." Bumblebee finishes: "Besides back in the old days, not even alpha specie dragons weren't invincible. They too met their matches in the past."

The Night-Light Fury continues his pursuit of the foe, Tom exclaims: "Wait! Pal! Where you going?" He runs after his dragon, who continues onward as the others follow. He stops and begins to growl violently, as if he caught the smell of his enemy. Alex noticing it, says: "That's a revenge grow." Everyone turns to Alex with a confused look. "What? I know my growls." Thunder still walks to the cave entrance, Tom calls out his dragon's name, but he didn't stop. Tom turns to his friends, June says to him: "It's like I said Kullersen. You go we go." Jack adds: "Besides, there's no lone wolves in this pack." D'Angelo adds/points out: "Even if you keep secrets." Alex also adds her opinion: "And you don't deserve us." Raf also speaks: "Besides Tom, we work better as a team." Miko finishes with her arms crossed: "Even if your words do hurt."

Optimus stops the Autobots and Maximals and says to them: "Autobots, Maximals including new members, we and the humans and dragons are entering further down than we ever gone. If anyone wishes to backdown speak up now." The group didn't say anything, not even the newest members except Quillbert who says: "Heh, I'm up for a challenge." Optimus Prime finishes: "From here on out; we're all entering uncharted territory." Arcee asks: "Since when did that stopped us?" Bumblebee finishes: "We came millions of light-years away from Cybertron. This will be a walk in the park." They continue to enter the cave.

At the Icarus base, Eugene manages to get pass June's mouse traps, climbs over the wall, and lands on the other side into June's room, with a mouse trap still on his right index finger. Eugene quietly says to himself: "Ok June-bug. What's this dragon club really about?" He begins to search his sister's room and sees her laptop. "Must be a clue in here, somewhere." On the laptop is a pink screen with a black unicorn with rainbow main and colorful butterflies flying behind it. He sits down, and presses on the button and the screen opens a page saying password. "Password?! (Scoffs)! Oh wait, there's a hint. 'Which way does the river flow'?" He rubs his chin thinking what's the riddle mean, but he skips it and continues to type. "(Annoying grunt) You're the most annoying sister ever."

He then puts his hands on his face, trying to calm himself. "Okay, Eugene, if you're going to crack this. You need to think like June. Think like June, think like June. What does that girl think about?"

He look around the room and the answer he thinks is standing before him. "Fairies, unicorns, dragons, how to annoy me." He simply says as he rotates the seat, and does the evil finger pyramid. "Think Eugene, think!" He thinks for 3 and a half seconds. "Battle axe?" He types it in, but it was the wrong answer. "Nail polish?" It was also a wrong answer. "(Annoying groan) Its impossible to think like her." He stops for a moment then, comes up with an idea. "Wait. Nail polish on a yeti!" The screen says it's the wrong answer with a frown face with x's for eyes. He slams his face on the computer in frustration. "I was sure that was it."

Returning to the Dragon Riders and Transformers, who are still in the cave, Raf holding on to June's hand while Miko was between Jack and D'Angelo. June asks Tom: "Can you see anything?" The blonde haired boy answers: "Yeah, there's a light up ahead." Tigertron speaks in agreement: "I can see it too. We're reaching the cave's exit." Optimus Prime finishes: "Everyone, stay on guard." As they exited the cave on the other side, they saw giant white crystal like walls, June asks: "What is this place?" They continue to walk, into the new area. "It's amazing." Raf adds in agreement: "It's beautiful." He comments, in awe.

Alex stops and speaks openly: "Okay, we've seen it. Can we go back?" Botanic answers: "We cannot leave Alex, we just came into this new place. Where's you're sense of exploration?" The Latino girl answers the plant theme Maximal: "Sorry, I'm more of a screen girl."

Then a loud screeching noise is made which catches everyone's attention. This catches Thunder most of all who follows it, Tom speaks: "Thunder?" The Night-Light Fury pursues down the crystal chasm, as the team follows him, "Thunder, wait!" They kept running until they stopped minus D'Angelo who kept running until he hit something he couldn't see. He groans in pain as Tom and Jack kneel down to his level, Tom asks D'Angelo who's rubbing his head: "You ok?" He answers his friend's question: "What did I hit?" Jack says to him: "You kept running till you must've hit an invisible mirror or glass."

June walks passes them, touches her hands on the walls and says: "Some of these walls are transparent. It's like a maze." Cheetor says regarding June's words: "Than by that logic, if it's a maze. That means, we can get easily lost." June asks everyone: "How do we get out of here?"

Tom and Jack helps D'Angelo up, and Tom answers: "I have no idea. Look for a path." As everyone places their hands on the walls looking for an exit, Alex says: "A better question is; what is Thunder trying to find on the other side?" Quillbert says to her: "Whatever it is, I hate to run into it." They kept feeling the walls hoping to find a exit.

D'Angelo says regarding his search: "No path." The others follow suit of their search Alex, June, Raf, Miko, Tigertron, Cheetor, Botanica, Webster, and Whiplash: "Nope. Nothing I can see. No. Nada. The walls of illusion clouds my instincts. All I can feel is wall. Negative on finding an exit. This hall of mirrors is creeping me out. I cannot tell where these mirrors end and I begin." Tom, Jack and Optimus eventually found a way out, the pathway they found. Thunder and Winger joins them, they follow the pathway with their riders and Autobot leader, the rest of the riders, Transformers and dragons follow with them.

Tom says to his friends regarding Thunder: "Looks like Thunder wants to go that way. I understand if you wanna go home, but I can't. Not yet. Whatever Thunder's after, I have to be there for him. You should all go back." June joyfully says: "Do I really have to say it again? D'Angelo?" The Army Ranger/veterinarian teenager answers his Chinese friend: "No rider left behind, Kullersen." As the Dragon continues to follow Thunder. "And since all the dragons seems to be following Thunder, we're in too. Come on man." He placed his hand on Tom's shoulder, "I may be mad about all the secrets. But I don't leave a friend in need." Bumblebee speaks: "Tom, we've all came this far. We'll follow you to the end. I did someone other than Optimus, in fact he was like you, and I would've traveled with him to the end of the universe." Alex walks up to Tom and says to him: "Funny, you never mentioned, life of death stakes when you brought me into the club. (Hushing) Guess that wouldn't have been a strong selling point." She walk pass him, with Feathers by her side.

Miko says to Tom: "Dude, I know we'll be facing danger and all. But here's the thing; I welcome danger! I'm a punk rocker. It what we do." She passes him by, Raf finishes: "Tom, I know when we first met, you treated my like a little kid." Tom replies: "Yeah. Sorry about that." Raf continues: "But now we're friends. Amigos to the end." He smiles with his terrible terror on his shoulder and Gronckle beside him.

They ventured forward into the maze, entering areas larger to fit the whole group including the Transformers. They stop for a moment, till Plowhorn smells something, they begin to follow her, Alex says to the team: "I can bread crum our movements and try to map out the maze, incase, for some unknown reason, we need to urgently retrace our steps." Arcee comments Alex's thinking: "Wise decision Alex." D'Angelo feeling confident says: "Hhmm. You do not need to worry about getting lost in here. You're looking at the reining Baker family corn maze champion." Quillbert openly asks: "Why doesn't that make me feel any better?" Alex still prefers the map: "Yeah…I'm still gonna make a map. You know, just for fun." D'Angelo says to her: "You have a weird idea of fun." Alex comebacks: "Says the man, proud of his corn maze proficiency." Cheetor exclaims: "Oh snap! She got you!" Quillbert adds: "Nice one girl. Way to sting him." D'Angelo defensively says: "Hey! Those are hard!"

June stops, turns around and says to the two arguing: "It's not the maze we should be worried about. It's what resides at it center." The human teenagers and young boy were now more concerned than ever. "Doesn't anyone read the classics? Like the minotaur, half man half bull. A monstrous creature that the Greek hero Theseus choose to battle to save his fellow Athenians. I'm just saying; there's always something at the center of every maze." Alex questions: "Like corn?" D'Angelo nods yes for Alex's words. Optimus Prime agreeing with June: "June's right. We don't know what lives here. So it's best to keep our guard up and our wits above us." The Transformers ready their weapons and continues forward with their human and dragon allies. Then a loud roar nose was made, everyone heard it. Jack asks D'Angelo and Raf regarding their dragons: "Please tell me that was your dragons' stomachs." They both nod no.

Thunder raises his head almost recognizing the sound, Tom walks up to him and asks: "You hear something pal?" The Night-Light Fury begins his pursuit as the rest of the team follows, they ran as fast as they could through the maze. But unknown to them, they just began to go around in circles passing through a pathway they thought was different. They passed through it, twice before realizing their are going around in circles.

Thunder still trying to follow the trail but he's still confused by it. D'Angelo asks openly: "Didn't we back this way once already?" Tom answers: "Yeah. A couple times. This place is really confusing." Webster states poetically: "Within the hall of mirrors, all paths are the same. But to find the way out, place your hand on the wall, to know the frame." Bumblebee says to him: "Wow. You're really poetic."

Alex sarcastically says to D'Angelo: "Ah, I thought you were the corn maze champion." Miko also acting like a tomboy: "Yeah dude. What the hey?" The African American admitting his flaw to the Latino computer hacker and Japanese punk rocker: "Alright, alright. Look around. This is not corn!" Tigertron adds in agreement: "He's right. Even my instincts are having trouble in this hall of mirrors." June asks her: "What about your tracker." Jack agreeably asks: "Yeah. You've been tracking our movements, so we must have a footing." Alex answers: "We've been here before. Third time actually, but that's okay. There aren't any monsters here." They hear the roaring again, Cheetor with his gun in hand says: "I doubt that."

Then the Gembreaker and Gronckle found another path way, they lead with Thunder following behind them. Alex says: "Plowhorn and Charcoal found a new opening." D'Angelo and Raf comments their dragons: "Good girl. Atta boy Charcoal." They continue on the path where they found a much larger room, Tom inspects the crystal walls, they all hear a growling mixed with snoring. Tom turns to see a spikey tail they follow the tail which is black scales with purple spots on it. June whispers: "I told you, there's always something at the center of a maze." Jack whispers as well: "Yeah, and its not cheese." They saw it was a skrill. Bumblebee whispers knowing the particular dragon: "A skrill. I hate these things." The dragon was sleeping.

The group gathered near but kept their distance away from the dragon. Tom says regarding the dragon: "I think we found what Thunder was looking for." Razorwhip whispers to the group: "By the Matrix! This beast, it's massive. And I bet aggressive." Alex says with tablet in hand: "I have our escape route already mapped." Cheetor simply says: "The sooner the better." They turn around and were about to leave, but Thunder stares and growls at the sleeping beast.

Tom turns to around and questions his Dragon: "Thunder what are you doing?" He rushes to him, Bumblebee says: "Seriously?! He has to hold a grudge?" The two get in front of the Night-Light Fury, Tom says to Thunder: "Stop! This is no time to go all alpha." The Autobot scout says in agreement: "This is the worse time to pick a fight. Especially since you lost round 1. And I doubt it'll change for round 2." The black and white dragon ignores their warning and still moves closer to the skrill, while the rest of the Dragon Riders and Transformers looked at each other fearing what Thunder will unleash.

As he moves closer to the sleeping giant dragon, Tom stops him and says to him: "Okay, okay I get it. That giant blasted you and your family. I be mad too. But you can't do this." Unknown to Tom, the skrill's eyes slowly begins to open. "This guy is too big to have some sort of rivalry with. I'm trying to help you! Don't you trust me?" Bumblebee sees the dragon waking up and says fearfully: "Hu, Tom? I don't think we need to lower our voices anymore." Tom, still struggling with Thunder asks: "Why?" Before the scout could answer, the Skrill stood behind him, all while Alex rapidly says: "Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom!" He asks to his Chinese friend: "Alex, Alex? What?" Just then, Tom realizes the dragon's awake, he turns around to see the skrill charging up, with electricity coursing all over its body.

Optimus Prime says to everyone with one word: "Run!" The lighting began to course through and on the mirror like crystals, which now began to freak and scar everyone. Arcee says regarding the electrical power: "I known about their electrical powers. But I don't remember them being able to do that." While it shows an intimidating stance, Thunder replies by showing his electrical powers. Tom begrudgingly agrees to help Thunder's alpha complex and says: "I guess we're committed now." He mounts on Thunder's back. "Go!" As the two flies towards the skrill.

June exclaims: "Tom! What are you doing?" Alex speaks on her own behave: "I don't know but I don't wanna get involved." D'Angelo simply answers: "Protecting his friend." Jack adds differently: "More like showing off his alpha-hood." Raf finishes: "Either way we gotta them." They saw the dragons and the rider all getting into a defensive and intimidating stance while hovering. June says to the group: "We need to do the same." She and the other riders rush to mount on their dragons, Alex simply says: "I knew that was coming." As the group mounts on their individual dragons, Miko says openly: "Let's do it! Let's fry that walkin' battery!" As the electrical stream, began to course onto the crystals like electrical conduits.

D'Angelo says to his friends: "Get ready everybody! I'll cover you!" Cheetor, Quillbert and Whiplash who joins, Quillbert says: "You're gonna need backup." They ready their weapons, D'Angelo on Plowhorn, he and the three transformers take the lighting and it's starting to hurt. D'Angelo says to Alex: "Go guys!" Cheetor exclaims: "Hurry! We don't know how long we can hold!"

Alex says to her dragon Feathers: "Scream Feathers, scream!" So the Chameleon like dragon uses it's sonic scream on the Skrill, which sends the Skrill tumble backwards, then Optimus yells: "Autobots, Maximals engage!" The transformers began to use all their weapons, Optimus, Bumblebee and Arcee transforms their arms into lasers and began shooting at the Skrill. Optimus shouts: "Aim for the wings! That's the likely where his conducting the lighting!" They began to fire but the laser shots have no effects on him. Bumblebee shouts: "Our shots! They're not having any effects on it!" Arcee adds still firing: "It's like he's absorbing our shots." Miko on Cloudster and Sparky says: "Than I'll suffocate it!" Everyone shouts: "Miko, no!" But it was too late, Miko yells: "Unleash the gas!" The Hideous Zippleback breaths gas on the skill only to ignite it sending everyone flying backwards including the skrill.

As everyone groans, Cheetor says to her: "Miko, if you do that again, so help me Primus I will burn you alive myself!" He said acting calm but angry in the end. The Skrill gets back up, as does Jack, Raf and June along with their dragons. June yells: "Fire and ice!" The two heads breaths both fire and ice on the skrill but has no effect. Jack and Raf both yells: "Combo!" Combining both the Stormcutter and Gronckle's fire blasts hitting the skill only send it tumbling backwards but it rubs it off.

Botanica joins in the fire using her roots, she borrows down into the ground then re-emerges entangling the skrill. The dragon struggles with the technoorganic vines, till he sees Tom and Thunder, it shoots lighting at them, which hits Tom electrocuting him, but not enough to do, but his body was shocking till he accidentally presses down onto Thunder who also feels the electricity, but not in a painful way.

Then the dragon rips off the vines freeing himself, and begins to shoot lighting all over. D'Angelo yells: "Let's boog out! Come on!" The last Prime agreeing with the young human says: "Everyone full back!" As they retreat, fleeing the skrill, Tom, Thunder, D'Angelo, Plowhorn and Bumblebee ran/flew into a mirror wall. After getting back up and hide, D'Angelo says regarding the dragon: "Another Lighting dragon. How crazy is that?" The Autobot scout says regarding it: "I dealt with this kind of dragon before." Tom questions: "You have?" Arcee explains to the young boy: "Yes. It's called a Skrill. A name given to it by the Vikings." Alex sarcastically says: "Apparently Vikings weren't very creative when it came to naming were they?" Optimus continues the explanation: "This isn't some to take lightly. The skrills are highly aggressive. Especially this one. They can remain frozen in a glacier for decades do to their body heat and the electricity stored into their bodies." Raf questions: "So this dragon is a walking lighting storm?" Optimus Prime answers: "Basically yes. And it will not stop until it's either defeated or dead."

Then they see the Skrill's lighting and it shows itself appearing more angry, while everyone else wanted to run, Thunder stood his ground but Tom and Bumblebee tries to stop him. Tom exclaims: "Thunder!" As he and Bumblebee pushes him back away from the Skrill. "This is a fight we have to run from." Bumblebee adds: "He's right. This thing isn't exactly gonna make it a fair fight." Tom mounts on Thunder, they began to flee away from the larger more aggressive lighting dragon.

As the beast pursues them, Thunder was running faster than the others, Tom says to his dragon: "Thunder, slow down! We're gonna loose them!" The wild dragon was chasing them, even trying to push two crystals on the side of the wall, only for them to collapse blocking the pathway.

D'Angelo saw the skrill, and asks: "Alex, where do we go?!" The Latino hacker replies: "This way but…" Her tablet slips out of her hand, and it's crushed by Plowhorn's feet. "Ho no! My whole world is in there." Botanica says to her: "We'll get you a new one. Just keep running." In the front June says to everyone: "Hold on! Everyone stop!" They did stop for they came into a fork in the road. Quillbert asks regarding a missing friend: "Hey, where's the blond kid and the black and white dragon?" Alex answers: "We lost Tom." Jack annoyingly says: "Seriously? This is getting old." Raf states: "I don't think he had a choice. Thunder was running faster than any of us." Then a shrieking noise is heard, the African American teenager asks openly: "Did you hear that?" Cheetor says: "It's hard not to." Tigertron and Botanica felt the vibration, they saw the walls shacking, D'Angelo notice this too, the three all shout: "Look out!" The mirror crystals began to topple, separating everyone.

As the dust settles the blocks paths and each other. June is with Optimus, Arcee and Miko. Jack is with Raf, Bumblebee and Quillbert. Webster, Whiplash is with Botanic and Tigertron. And D'Angelo is with Alex and Cheetor.

June yells: "D'Angelo! Alex! Jack! Raf!" She called her friends names with concern. On the other sides, Alex callout her June's name.

Meanwhile Tom still on Thunder was running, Tom says to Thunder: "We've lost the others! What are you doing?" The Night-Light Fury stops causing to be thrown off. As he gets back up, Thunder nudges him, even gives him body language telling him to stay behind. "What are yo…? You're telling me to stay?" He questions his dragon's motives. "Thunder, no." Thunder turns around but before he could go back, large mirror crystals blocks their paths.

June, Miko, Optimus Prime and Arcee who are carefully walking through the maze, calling out their friends names, but responds. Miko says openly: "I hate this place. It feels like the walls are closing in all around me." Said the Japanese punk rocker, but the female Autobot scout says to her: "Just take slow deep breaths Miko." So she does breath slowly, but the hear the skrill's noise. June says to Optimus and her dragons Wu and Wei: "(Sigh) The minotaur continues to stalk its maze." Optimus reassures her: "Let's just keep moving. We'll eventually regroup with the others." They continue to walk through the maze's path and hope to find their missing allies.

But they stop when seeing the Skrill through a see through mirror/window. As everyone stayed still, Optimus and Arcee were ready to fight, as for June and Miko who were scares. The wild lighting dragon uses its claw on the see through window, it even bashes its head. And it clears that it was one sided, they can see it, but it can't see it. It then moves on, which everyone quietly sighs in relief. June says in relief: "That took years off my life." Miko adds in agreement: "That took a decade off my life." Optimus Primes says in reassurance: "We are fortunate enough we haven't been detected." June finishes: "Let's find the others, and get out of here." Arcee in total agreement: "The sooner the better. I'll take the rear, you two stay in between me and Optimus." They nod in total obedience, and continues to follow the path.

In another part of the maze where Webster, Razorwhip, Tigertron and Botanica stealthily walk through the maze, Tigertron says quietly: "Tigertron maximize stealth mode." He transforms into robot mode. "I'm going to scout out ahead to see if the close is clear." Botanica whispers: "Okay be careful." Razorwhip says to the Tiger bot: "If you run into that thing, don't engage, just run." He nods in understanding, he swiftly and yet quietly runs to see if there's a clearing. Webster poetically says: "The lone tiger, against a might dragon, in a hall of mirrors. But the question is; who's hunting whom?"

Tigertron with a blaster in hand hides behind a large crystal, he sees nothing. He runs to another, but then he hears the skrill. He stays hidden even kneels down to avoid being detected. The lighting beast smells the air, in search for his prey. Tigertron with blaster in hand readies to defend himself, but the skrill leaves to search for his other prey. Tigertron somersaults rolls and runs back to his group.

As the trio waits they see him running towards them. Botanica says her friend: "Tigertron you're back." Webster asks: "What happened?" Razorwhip finishes: "Speak tiger-bot!" He shushes them and says to them quietly: "I went ahead. At first it was clear, but the beast came out of nowhere. Its still there, so we need to move even more quietly and carefully." The four Transformers walked even more stealthy than before.

As for Bumblebee, Jack, Raf and Quillbert all staying together, Jack openly asks: "How did it come to this? We were searching for Thunder and now we're being hunted by a wild dragon." Bumblebee with his arm as a gun peaking to make sure the coast is clear. "I mean this is crazy." The Hispanic youngest member says to the Japanese American teenager: "He went to save his friend." Jack replies: "I get that. But still, this…thing's trying to kill us." Bumblebee turns to him and says: "Look kid, I get you're scared. That's perfectly normal. But I fought one of these things 1,300 years ago. It nearly got two and more of my friends killed. The only difference is they kept their heads together and froze that thing in a glacier." Jack says to him: "That be helpful. If we had a glacier!" Quillbert says to him: "You're missing the point. He's been through this once. He can get us out of it." Raf finishes: "They're right. We'll get out of this. Just have faith." Then the skrill's roar is made, they were a bit frightened by the sound, and prepared themselves.

As for Alex, D'Angelo, and Cheetor stayed put in their location. As Alex and Feathers paced around in a circle D'Angelo says of what they should do: "We could yell for them. That might lure that skrill to our location." Cheetor says in agreement: "You're right. And if we did run for it, it'll just chase us." Alex speaks up: "We have to think of something." The African American teenage boy questions: "Shouldn't we go looking for them?" The Latino girl answers: "We weren't that far when we got separated. They'll find us. My moms have always says; 'In search and rescue situations, the best thing to do is to stay put'. So this time I decide we sit still." She sits down, D'Angelo follows sitting down, even Cheetor sits down. But Alex frustratingly groans and gets back up and says: "It's impossible to sit still without the internet." Cheetor says to her: "Really? People done it all the time before the internet was even invented." she turns to him and replies: "Yeah, but they had nothing to do then. But with my tablet or laptop I could…" He then shushes her after hearing a growl noise. The two humans, their dragons and the cheetah-bot can sense the skrill's presents.

They all were frighten, Alex says in total fear: "Its the beast. Quick, hide." Feathers uses one of her wings to hide Alex, D'Angelo questions: "Hide where?" The Chameleon dragon turns invisible hiding them both. "That doesn't help me!" He said angrily Cheetor says to him: "Just hide anywhere." Feathers reappears and Alex offers him to get under her wing. He sits down under the wing. D'Angelo says to his dragon: "Plow, hide." Plowhorn moves into a position to make her look like a bolder, Fethers disappears again, as for Cheetor he hides behind a pillar, with his weapon in hand.

The skrill slowly approaches from the corner, Cheetor is ready to fire from behind incase the dragon attacks his friends. The Skrill looks in all directions for his prey, the two teenagers were frightened by the beast, which now begins to charge electricity over its body. But when it doesn't sense it's prey it stops charging and moves on.

After emerging from their hiding spots, Cheetor sighs in relief and says: "That was too close for comfort." Feathers reappears and raises her wing to reveal D'Angelo hugging on Alex. Then coming from behind is June, Miko, Optimus and Arcee. June teasingly asks: "What are you two doing?" D'Angelo stutters: "Y-y-you just missed it. That thing was here." Alex says to her friend: "You can let go of me now." He apologizes to her: "Sorry. Survival instincts." Alex says to him: "A better survival instinct is to never do that again." Miko also teases says: "What the matter? Embarrassed? I think you two like each other." Both are in denial of the responds. D'Angelo says: "No way." Alex agrees: "Absolutely not!" Miko jokes singing: "D'Angelo and Alex sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Both Alex and D'Angelo exclaims: "Miko!" Arcee says to the Japanese girl: "Miko, take this serious. This isn't a game." She replies: "I know. I'm just trying to make light of a bad situation." June finishes: "We need to find the others." The other Dragon Riders mount on their dragon to continue the search for their friends.

Meanwhile Tom and Thunder pushes large crystals out of the way and climbs over it, they check their surroundings, Thunder began to sense something close. Tom asks his dragon: "You hear something pal?" The Night-Light Fury felt a false alarm. "Me neither." He places his hand on his dragon's cheek. "I get it. You want revenge. That dragon blasted you and chased off your family right?" As they walked side by side. "I just don't get why left without me. I guess Alex was right. We've both been keeping secrets. Listen, where ever your family went, we'll find them. I'm gonna help you. I promise." Thunder places his head over Tom's signifying he understands. "We just need to stick together and trust each other. And I need to learn to trust my friends with my secrets. Speaking of that, let's go find them." He mounts onto Thunder's back.

Then voice says openly: "That was beautiful." They turn to see Tigertron, Botanica, Webster and Whiplash coming out of a narrow enough corner, they managed to break the crystals without making too much noise.

Tom exclaims: "Tigertron, Botanic, Whiplash, Webster! Am I glad to see you." Whiplash replies: "As are we. But where's the others?" The Blonde haired boy answers: "We go separate when Thunder rushed us ahead of the others." Botanica says regarding the situation: "That is unfortunate. But we could run into to them." Just then a loud banging is heard, they turn to the source coming. Then the loud banging was even louder till finally it explodes, revealing Raf on Charcoal with Firebites on his shoulder. With Jack on Winger and Bumblebee beside him.

Tom says to the other lost members: "Jack, Raf, Bee! I'm glad you guys are alive." Jack replies: "Yeah. Just barely." Raf adds: "This place is worse than funhouse mirrors." Bumblebee finishes: "We were looking for you guys and the others. Now that we're half reunited. Finding the others should be easy now."

Tom says in total agreement: "Ok let's go and find the rest. And if we run into that dragon, we'll have strength in numbers." They all nod in agreement and continues the search through the maze.

As they enter another Crystal room, the felt the ground shake. Webster says in worried tone in his voice: "Earthquake." Whiplash says in disagreement: "We haven't been that lucky all day. I fear it's the beast." Tom says openly: "Come on, we gotta hide." They looked around their surroundings but there's no place to hide this time. "But there's now where to…" Thunder shoves Tom off his back.

Tom was on the ground, then he gets back up, turning to Thunder. "Thunder!" The dragon snarls at his rider not to come along. (Frustration grunt) Not this again." He tries to mount on him again but Thunder still doesn't allow his rider on him. "I thought we just had a good talk! Why is he doing this? We're supposed to be a team." Tigertron answers: "He's doing this to protect you." The boy questions: "Protect me?" Raf adds: "He's right. Animals who are trying to protect their friends even by keeping their distance." Jack finishes: "I can see that. But he's forgot one thing." Tom asks: "What's that?" Razorwhip answers: "He can't get rid of us. We're with him to the end." So the group chases the Night-Light Fury. Tom yelling: "Thunder! Wait!"

They kept running but stop when they see Thunder in a fighting stance and electricity coursing through his body, he was seeing the Skrill blocked by a narrow pathway unable to fit through it. The Skrill was too having electricity coursing through its body. Even thought its was narrow, somehow the dragon manages to squeeze through, Tom running while yelling to the wild dragon: "Hey! Leave him alone!" Quillbert also running also yells: "Yeah! Why not pick on someone your own size! Quillbert Maximize!" He transforms into beast mode. Thunder turn around, fearing the danger he lighting shoot crystals from above, causing them to fall and blocking their way. But this didn't stop them, they kept pursuing to help Thunder, who is now battling the Skrill one on one. Tom exclaims: "Thunder!" With the two dragons clashed with their lighting shooting, everywhere even hitting Tom's arm, causing to fall backwards. Everyone shouts: "Tom!"

Tigertron helps him up, and asks: "Tom, are you okay?" He replies feeling some pain, but it's wearing off: "I'm okay. I'm okay." He gets back and continues to chase for Thunder, Bumblebee says: "Tom, wait for us!" The Transformers and the two humans aboard their dragons follows Tom.

When they find Thunder and the Skrill still fighting, even both breathing lighting streams at each other. As the sparks fly they even open a new pathway, and they still continue to fight. The skrill even tries to stomp on Thunder but he dodges at the last second. The two dragons began to charge their lighting powers all over their bodies, Thunder pounces on the skrill, but it retaliates by bitting his wing.

Tom, Quillbert, Jack, Tigertron and Webster pushes and moves blocks the piled of crystals. Tom calls out his dragon by name: "Thunder!" As the two dragons disburse and breaths lighting on each other, the Skrill is still too powerful. Tigertron says regarding Thunder: "He's gonna need help, or he ain't gonna last much longer." Bumblebee agreeably says: "Yeah. But we need the whole team."

Then D'Angelo's voice yells: "Tom! Jack! Raf! Everybody!" They turn to see their friends. Tom exclaims: "D!" The Dragon Riders were riding on their dragons while the other transformers were in robot mode. Cheetor says to their friends: "The Calvary's here!" Tom says to everyone: "We gotta help Thunder!"

As the larger lighting chases the black and white lighting dragon, he even leads it into a crystal mirror wall, but Thunder turn flies before hitting the wall, but the skrill crashes into it.

The wild large skrill was now even more angry, as Thunder makes distance, the skrill breaths lighting on one of the large mirror like crystals causing the lighting to disburse it everywhere. Which causes some mirror crystals to topple on top of Thunder, trapping him under debris.

As the dust settles the Skrill lands in front of him ready to finish the job, Thunder frees himself and gets on his feet. "Thunder!" Called out Tom's voice. "Boom-boom goodbye!" Thunder understanding the order gets out of the debris and flies into the air creates a lighting like cloud turning himself invisible. He reappears besides his friends, and allow Tom to mount him.

Bumblebee says seeing Thunder doing the invisible trick: "Just like the good old days!" Cheetor adds in agreement: "Yeah, now let's send this over size newt back to where he came from!" The transformers all agreed, the Maximals shout: "Beast mode!" The Maximals transformed into beast mode, all roaring and screeching. Tigertron, Cheetor and Quillbert all charge to the skrill, Botanica and Webster combined their webs and vines to trap the dragon, this allows Tigertron and Cheetor to jump on it. Botanica says to Webster: "You know Webster, I had misjudged you. You're more than a poet. You're a calm warrior." The Spider-Wing Maximal replies to the comment: "Thank you. And even though you're no warrior, you're a brilliant Maximal."

As the two cat-transformers held onto the skrill, Quillbert jabs his horn in the skrill's left hind leg. Quillbert yells with his horn still in the beast: "Yeah! Stings doesn't?!" Then Razorwhip uses his tail slapping the large lighting beast in the face.

Optimus Prime says to his fellow Autobots: "Autobots engage!" Tom says to his friends: "Come on! What are we waiting for?!" They all charge into battle.

At June's home, Eugene is still trying to hack into his sister's laptop, with no luck. He tries to think but ran out of things June finds interesting, he even says: "(Groan) This is getting me, absolutely nowhere!" He admits defeat. "He brain is like a puzzle stuffed into a chicken and jammed into a turkey." He states how complicated it is, as he spins the chair around.

He then notice a book on her bed with a unicorn's head on the cover. He opens it, and reads the first paragraph out-loud: "'Dragons and myths?'" He follows the second paragraph. "'Transforming alien robots?' That's new even for June. She's usually into mythology creatures, but aliens? She's gotta be kidding." He flips the pages, seeing drawn cute pictures of Cuddles, he even saw a drawling of the vault ripper dragon breathing fire out of its mouth and nose. A drawling of Thunder with his lighting powers. He was amazed by these drawings. Then he sees the Transformers and their names on the top corners, "Optimus Prime and Primal." He saw the two Optimus's both in robot and alternate modes.

He sees another page, this time with Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead in warrior posses, on the second page he sees Arcee in anime posse. "Bumblebee? Arcee? Bulkhead? The first and third ones not very cool names. But Arcee? She seems cute." He flips the page again seeing the entire Maximals even Blackarachnia all in robot mode next to Optimus Primal with a sword raised into the air with one hand, the other seemingly pounding his chest. The page next to it, is the Rescuebots all in Charles' angles pose with water guns in hand all aiming in the directions their facing. At first he is fascinated and amazed by all these drawings, but then he looses interest even tossing book while saying: "Lame." He opens his sister's door leaving his sister's room, but steps on the mouse traps exclaiming in pain, and steps on another. "Ow! My pinky!"

Back with Tom and the others, who are still fighting the skrill, who keeps shooting, but keeps missing for the team keeps dodging his attacks. When it attacks again, D'Angelo on Plowhorn yells: "Watch out!" But this time the lighting didn't hit Plowhorn's horn. It went for the crystal walls. Alex asks reagent the lighting: "What happened?" Tom realizes the silver inside the crystals acts as a conduit, and says: "The silver! It's like a lighting rod. It absorbed the blast." Botanica also sees this and says: "He's right. And the more he uses the lighting, he'll eventually run out of it." The skrill was charging up ready to attack again.

June yells to her dragon: "Wu, Wei steam it up!" The two headed dragon combines their heat and ice powers creating steam, this allows the Dragon Riders and Transformers to hide. The skrill is unable to see its adversaries, because they have already retreated.

The Riders were now running on foot with their dragons and Alien robots behind/beside them. As they catch their breath, D'Angelo says regarding the situation: "With all these toppled walls, I don't know how we'll ever find our way our." Tom answers: "The only way out in through him." He said regarding the skrill. June questions: "Pass the giant-evil-lighting-dragon?!" Jack adds in total agreement with June: "That's crazy talk Tom. But you may have a point." Alex and Miko says at the same time: "Piece of cake." Alex continues: "I mean, not for us, but I'm sure for someone." Miko questions: "Really? I thought for us." June says to her friend: "He's too powerful Tom." Optimus Prime speaks differently: "He may be powerful but he's not invincible not limitless. He's burning through lighting too much." Arcee agrees with her leader: "He's right. We just gotta make him keep burning gas." Raf also in agreement: "They're both right. But how do we do it? That's the bigger question."

Tom speak of the Skrill's lighting blast: "That thing hit us with a massive blast but we barely felt it. It's the silver in the walls. It's attracting the lighting." Tom sees a long/jagged shaft the same crystal like mirrors, he pulls out his chisel and begins to chisel the shaft free, and holds it like a sword. "How about we absorb a lot more?" He openly asks, to which D'Angelo replies with another question: "Are you crazy? I know I say that to you a lot, but surging electricity isn't something play with. If it charges that thing up while you're holding it, it could cook you." Bumblebee worried for his friend adds in total agreement: "D'Angelo's right. It's suicide, we need another plan." Tom replies: "And I don't try we're all cooked." Quillbert says of their options: "So it's sacrifice one for the sake of all of us, or we all die? I love having tough options." He said sarcastically in the end of his sentence.

The blonde haired boy rubs his head against his dragon and both he and his dragon know the risks and cost if they go through with this plan, the other riders and Transformers are worried. Tom realizing his mistakes says to all of them: "Listen I know I screwed up. I should've told you all about the symbol on my helmet. I'm sorry." The Latino girl says to the blonde hair boy: "See? Was that so hard?" The Japanese young man adds: "I know it's hard for you to swallow your pride. But we accept your apology none the less." Tom finishes: "I swear, if we get out of this; no more lone wolf. No more going rouge. No more secret." They are still concern for their friend who's willing to sacrifice himself for his friends. "I trust you guys. I hope you trust me."

June says to him: "Tom, we're family." Tom admitting to her words: "Yeah, we are family." Bumblebee adds feeling the love: "I once said, swore to follow a long gone friend of mine to follow him the ends of the universe, for you Tom. I would lay down my life for you." Cheetor speak with a thumbs up: "This cat's lost three lives. What's one more gonna hurt, especially for a friend and brother?" Quillbert says with his pride: "I've only known you guys for a day. But we're bonded for life." Whiplash also speaks full of honor and pride: "Tomas, you are a brave, and noble warrior. Worthy of being called a knight." Webster poetically says: "Bonds of friendships are so strong, they can transcend lifetimes. Davids, pick your slingshots, we're going to slay the mighty Goliath." Optimus Prime finishes: "Tomas, you're truly a leader worthy of your ancestors. Autobots, Maximals, Dragon Riders, Let's roll!" He says with each of their weapons in hand.

Tom mounts on Thunder and says with the crystal sword in hand: "Let's go finish this fight, and get our family home!" As the Night-Light Fury and his rider charges into battle even flying up into the air, the Skrill sees his prey and too takes to the air. The team, sees this and too goes charging into battle. As the skrill breaths lighting, Tom and Thunder dodges the first two attacks, the third one Tom uses his new sword, the multiple lighting shots hits the Dragon Riders, causing them to fall backwards and hit the ground. The Transformers stops and saw their friend incapacitated, Quillbert now with anger turns to the skrill and says: "You are so gonna regret that you oversize gecko!"

As the young man on his dragon wielding the crystal sword, the Skrill was now at even hight. Tom says to Thunder: "It's okay pal. We can do this, together." The Skrill and Thunder create lighting streams, as the rest of the team watches. As Thunder's lighting was being pushed back, Tom raises the crystal sword, "Hang on Thunder, hang on!" With the skrill's lighting being absorbed by the sword coursing through his right arm, then into his body and finally onto Thunder. "Power up pal! (Grunting in pain) Let…him…have it!" The skrill stops breathing lighting, Thunder absorbing the lighting into his body, his eye opens with a lizard eye pupil, he lets out a powerful lighting strike onto to the skrill, creating a power boom, with lighting and smoke clouds, as the other Dragon Riders and Transformers covered their faces and mouths. As the dusts settle, June says to everyone: "Look." They see the skrill laying down jammed into the mirror wall, still alive but defeated and in the wall he created a hole.

Alex joyfully exclaims: "They did it!" They all cheered, but June says with concern: "Yeah, but…" As the teenage boy and his dragon lands on the ground, the collapse from exhaustion and overpowered. "Tom!" The humans, dragons and alien robots rush to the friends who are still feeling electrical, but as it stops, Tom gets back up, clenching his wrist. "Tom!" They gathered around him some down on one knee. He replies feeling pain: "Ow, ow, ow!" He looks at his hand which is suffering second degree burn on his palm of his hand. "Ah, that was crazy." D'Angelo says to him: "I keep telling you." He turns to Thunder, petting him, "Hey Thunder, buddy." Jack says seeing them in their condition: "Yikes. That's a bad case of burns. Nothing but some healing cream can't fix." Bumblebee says to Jack: "If you thought that was crazy, that's nothing compared to the old days."

June helps Tom and says: "Hoo…Kullersen, doesn't look too bad." Arcee looks at the hand injury and says: "Nothing Ratchet can't fix. He's fixed worse than this." They turn and looked up seeing a hole, June says: "The lighting blast knocked a hole in the wall." Optimus Prime says in agreement: "Indeed." D'Angelo says happily: "Nice! A shortcut home." Alex adds: "Bonus, we don't have to run the gauntlet of death dragons again." Miko also happy adds: "Yeah. That place way too creepy, even for me. And I have some goth friends back in Japan." Tom says: "Nope. I just have to help Thunder find his family." D'Angelo wrapping his arm around Tom's shoulder says: "You mean, we have to help Thunder find them. And help answer your big question too." Bumblebee adds: "Remember what you said Tom. No more secret, no more going rouge and no more lone wolf." D'Angelo finishes: "Hey, we're family, families fight. But in the end; we'e Dragon Riders." He holds his fist out, Tom hesitate but with a smile he says as he pounds D'Angelo's fist: "Dragon Riders." June, Alex, Miko, Raf and Jack join in the fist bump and all says simultaneously: "Dragon Riders." The dragons all roar cheerfully. But they heard a different, they turn seeing the skrill retreat into the hole. Quillber says to the skrill while shaking his fist in the air: "Yeah, yeah. Run away you coward!"

As the group walks to the hole, they see what's inside, Alex says: "Wow, look and even more dangerous place." Jack asks: "Did we just discovered the fiery pits of heck or an underground volcano?" June answers: "It's a whole new world." Arcee states: "Yeah of fire, lava, molten rock. What ecosystems will we keep discovering?" Tom notice something on the mirror crystal, he pulls it out, to reveal a metal shard, D'Angelo asks seeing what's on the shard: "Is that?" On the metal shard at the base is a Night Fury symbol. Tom answers: "It sure is." Bumblebee says in shock: "By the Matrix. Another clue!" Tom continues: "We're not the first people to find this place." Botanica asks: "But how could a spearhead found its way down here?" Raf asks: "How come you guys never came here if you been down here for 1,300 years?" Cheetor answers: "We only stayed in the Crystal Realm and go to the surface. We didn't think of exploring. But someone else must've." Tom finishes: "Well whoever dropped this spear head must have some answers. And we're gonna find out what they are." Optimus also finishes: "We will Tomas. Our journey's have only just begun." They stare into the new realm, still uncertain what the future holds.
