AN: I'm sorry for the hiatus, I simply became lazy, I will try to continue a weekly schedule. though I will soon graduate from grade school so I'll probably have more time in april.

Frisk was cheerful, but he then realized that his ears had transformed, he quickly calmed himself down, and a blush appeared on his face.

this is not the first time it happens… how awkward, keep a hold of yourself.

"Say, my child, why do you get embarrassed each time your curse springs out of control?"

Frisk was about to answer, but…

"Er…"

Why do I get embarrassed? Well, besides curses being evil, it's nothing to be afraid of, but rather what this entails…

"It seems you don't know, perhaps this is part of the curse?"

"I don't know…"

Frisk felt that he was ashamed rather than embarrassed, this is because for him to be cursed, he must have done a sin worthy of it, such as killing a believer of the Goddess of hate.

Even if I can live through anything, gods can still affect me… how scary…

"Well, I could try to remove the curse," Toriel said. "It shouldn't be too hard

Frisk simply snorted "I don't think this is something magic can fix…"

[well, not your magic, and certainly not with your narrow-mindedness]

"...but It can't hurt to give it a try."

Toriel's expression brightened up. "Very well, I will need some preparations, please wait 10 minutes." as she said so, she went to her room and started putting some materials outside."

"Hey, what's she doing?"

[prep]

"What's 'prep'?"

[... it's just short for preparation. How come you don't know that?]

"I have never heard anybody say that…"

[you probably have no friends]

Crack…

Smash!

Frisk found himself in a similar yet alien black void.

"..." Frisk looked at Chara

[...] Chara looked at Frisk

damn that hurt. Extreme emotions are deadly? Since when? The curse perhaps?

"What are you doing staring at the air idiot? Why did you reset?"

Flowey, who had left after he learned summoning magic basics, now came back.

"Not. your business."

After this Flowey left grumbling since he couldn't exactly do anything to Frisk, while Frisk repeated his actions to Toriel, who quickly set up a circle with arcane symbols. Among them, Frisk couldn't keep his eyes away from a particular symbol.

"Uh…"

"Worry not my child, even if the ritual were to fail, it would not harm you," Toriel assured.

"I was going to ask what's the meaning of all of this?"

"Well, it is circle magic, but I do not think you can learn it…"

"Why not?"

"Well, this is suited only for monsters."

So it probably takes a lot of mana…

"Ok."

There was an awkward silence while Toriel set up the magic circle. Which Chara tried to break.

[let's see if your self-proclaimed god can beat Toriels magic circle!] she happily sspoke

iIdoubt that could work

As Toriel set up the ritual, this caught a god's gaze.

The Ritual failed promptly failed. But Frisk expected this.

"Well, thanks for trying anyway." Frisk went a little further from Toriel to practice magic while Toriel was confused.

Frisk was going to reset soon, but he hadn't discovered a way to summon the wind spirit. However, he found a way around the problem.

If I take advantage of how the wind flows I can use the spell, of course, the windiest place in the underground is the cold area.

As Frisk did not bother to do anything but escape, he didn't know the name of the locations in the underground. And frankly speaking, he didn't want to linger around too long.

Toriel herself told me that Asgore is still treating humans as war enemies. Worse yet, he even kills children and steals their souls…

Stealing souls is not frowned upon, this is for 3 reasons, first, people who haven't practiced magic at all have their souls disappear after death, and that is why civilians at least practice 1 type of magic. Once someone learns magic a shadow of their soul will be able to be seen going up to heaven.

Secondly, stealing someone's soul is supposed to be extremely hard, you have to fight the will of the soul constantly and things can easily get out of control, unless someone was completely domineering or the captured soul was in extreme despair, a captured soul would struggle immensely.

Third, there were no monsters to steal souls from!

IA human can't steaA weekan soul!

A week quickly passed by…

Honestly speaking, Frisk had a lot of fun in Toriel's home, it opened him up to new experiences and the warmth of a home. This motivated him to find his mother even more.

But in the first place, I need to leave, win the tournament, then get a wish, Flowey can easily be dealt with before e steals a soul .

Frisk was currently practicing wind surge without the help of the Fairy, a gust of wind blew upwards, and Frisk placed wind surge in the air and felt the breeze.

As long as the wind allowed it, he'd be able to do wind magic!

I just wish there was a way to bring the Fairy along… it is time.

"Do you know about someone named Chara?"

[!]

"!"

The reaction was all he needed to confirm it

Indeed you do.

Without hesitation, Frisk reset the timeline!

..

.

Frisk found himself in the bed of flowers nearby.

Frisk simply spared everyone in the Ruins and gave Toriel some hope.

"See you later ~" frisk waved goodbye as if he would come back before dinner.

"..." At this moment, nobody knew what Toriel was thinking.

Frisk stepped into the hallway and saw Flowey.

"Heh, I guess you got bored of that old hag."

This…

"No, I simply need to get out of the underground, I have something important to do."

"So important that you had to leave your mommy behind? " Flowey mocked.

",.. you're crazy," Frisk said childishly as if he was looking at an idiot.

Flowey did not expect Frisk to behave this way and was confusedtowardthe ended towards the end of the hallway and felt the cold pierce his skin

Thankfully Toriel gave me a coat

Frisk continued his way until he heard a twig crack behind.

He quickly turned around but didn't notice anyone.

As he neared a gate…

".,.HUMAN."

"Hello," Frisk said as he turned around to shake his hand.

Pftttttt

"It was as of you were expecting me." Sans winked. somIhow.

"Of course i was, you cracked the branch and that alerted me to you." Frisk lied. "Nice to meet you… uh-"

"The name's Sans ." Sans

"Frisk." the human smiled.

Frisk excused himself, but before he could go, Sans told him about his brother papyrus, he also wondered if he could help cheer his brother up.

"Sorry, I'm kinda occupied… perhaps when I find shelter?"

Frisk was not planning to stop at elemental magic! It didn't prove very useful anyway… so he would turn this frosty place upside down to find grimoires!

The library will probably have a forgotten grimoire confused for a book. With some luck, it will Ie something new i caI'llarn! If not, i'll be on my way.

The best he could do with his makeshift elemental magic was a gust of wind, it didn't have the strength to be used in battle so he thought of it as useless.

"How about you crash at my home? We got a comfy couch." Sans suggested.

"... sure." he narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

Even if get captured the worst that can happen is a reset.

Frisk felt that there was no risk.

I feel like a god! He was beginning to build up a reliance on resetting.

"Great, see ya later" Sans walked off.

Frisk was left alone. Then he started to laugh.

I will be famous!

If he "discovered" the magic, he could become a noble and have an easier time accomplishing his goals.

with confidence, he braved the cold.
